I am so sorry I left you hanging like that, but it was the middle of the night and I had already updated three other fan fictions in two hours. Anyway here you go my friends.

Lucy woke up in the hospital two days later with a splitting head ache and two sore wrists. (You didn't think I would kill off my main character did you!)))

She looked around the room she was currently in, and found it looked nothing like the Hogwarts Hospital wing. A machine beside her bed beeped in accordance with her heart beat, and an IV was connected to her right wrist.

"Ah Well come back to the land of the livin'" A Doctor with a thick Scottish accent walking into the room, "You gave a lot of people quite the scare little lady." He wagged the tip of his quill at her. "Yea, seems I have a habit of doing that." She grunted, leaning up into the sitting position,

"Whoa now, let's not get ahead of ourselves." He scribbled on his clipboard, "How long have I been out?" Lucy inquired, "uuuuhh" the medic flipped through his papers, "Twenty six hours."

"Jesus, Mary and Joseph" she muttered, "I uh, don't suppose you could take IV out of my arm?" she waved her wrist by her head. "Now that you're awake, sure." Lucy bit her lip as he pulled the needle from her arm, "Here we are." He patted her wrist. "Now I assume you want to see your friends, they're waiting in the lobby."

Lucy nodded, "Yes thank you" The Doctor nodded and went to the door, "Okay now don't crowd her all at once" he scolded outside the door.

In Harry, Hermione, and Ron, followed by Dumbledore, "Lucy, thank God you're okay, you had us worried sick, I mean what happened?" Hermione bombarded her with a blitzkrieg of questions. "I'm so glad to see you all." Lucy Hugged Hermione and Harry, then eyed Ron. "I-I wasn't worried, I mean, I knew you would be okay…"

Lucy grinned at him, "thank you for your concern Ronald"

"So what has happened?" she asked. The room grew silent, "What?" she asked expectantly. "Cedric Diggory is dead, and the Dark Lord has risen." Dumbledore informed her grimly, "What?" she blinked confused.

"How?"

"the cup, at the center of the maze it was a portkey, and it led to a graveyard, were some deatheaters were waiting for Harry to get there." Hermione explained, "They killed Cedric and used Harry's blood to bring back You-Know-Who."

Luc was silent for a second, "I'm so sorry." She whispered, "The man who attacked you was placed in Hogwarts to make sure Harry made it to the Graveyard,"

"Professor Moody?" she asked, "But I thought he was an Ex-Auror."

"Actually, . The man who attacked you was called Barty Crouch Jr. he was using a clever disguise to look like Alastor Moody." Dumbledore corrected her.

"Crouch, Crouch, where have I heard that name."

"He was the man you found in the woods, it is likely that Barty Crouch Jr killed him to."

Lucy shook her head, "This is insane." She lamented, "Completely" Hermione concurred, "Are you alright Harry?" Lucy asked, "I'm better." He assured her.

"Okay." She whispered. "Well children, I think we should give Mrs. Dursley the chance to see her daughter." Dumbledore ushered them out. Just as Petunia was rushing into the room, "Lucy!" she embraced her daughter, "Oh my God my sweet girl, I am so sorry, If I hadn't kicked you out you wouldn't have been harmed I am so sorry"

"Mum, Mum, Its not your fault, you had no way of know this would happened, no one did." Lucy calmed her. "They said you were dieing, you were lying there and you were pale and cold and they weren't sure you were going to live." Her mother sobbed, "I was so scared darling."

"I know mum, but I'm okay now" Lucy assured her. "Well, There is a young man in the waiting room who has been here since you were brought here." Petunia eyed her daughter, "Is there something you want to tell me?"

"well let's just see how this goes." Lucy patted her hand, "Alright, well I'll send him in."

Petunia ushered in Anton and winked while leaving. "Hello." Lucy nodded, "Hey." He waved.

"So you're awake?" he noted, "It seems so, unless this is a frighteningly realistic dream." Lucy looked around the room, "So, have you really been out there for twenty six hours?" she inquired.

"Well that depends, would you find that sweet or creepy?"

Lucy thought, "hmm, mostly sweet, slightly creepy." She reasoned, "Well then yes I have spent twenty six hours, in an extremely uncomfortable plastic chair. Waiting for you to wake up." Anton admitted, "I must ask though," Lucy crossed her arms, "What if I found it more Creepy than sweet?"

"Then I still would have spent twenty six hours in an extremely uncomfortable plastic chair, except I would feel like an idiot."

Lucy laughed, "Well we wouldn't want that now would we?" She patted the end of the bed, "Come on I won't bite."

"Anton, while I was lying comatose in the hospital, waiting for death, I had an Epiphany." She said with a enlightened tone, "I realized then when I was angry about what Happened, I might have been a bit unfair by not allowing you to explain."

"And you are going to let me explain now?" Anton said expectantly, "If you will?"

"Okay well, if you must know My Job depended on my keeping my distance, Headmaster Karkaroff doesn't take kindly to muggleborns and he said that if I were to get close to you I'd be out on my ass faster than you could say 'sacked' " Anton explained.

Lucy listened closely, "And this is the truth?" she tested. "I swear on my life, Lucy I never meant to hurt you." Anton grabbed her hand.

She sighed and nodded, "Okay." She closed her eyes, "Okay."

"Y-You believe me?" he asked, "It's plausible." She shrugged, Anton slid toward her, "does that mean that you're willing to give us a second chance." He asked hopefully. "Maybe." She patted his hand, and turned to face him. He was leaning forward with a cocky grin, "Anton sweetie I said I had an Epiphany, not a stroke." She placed her hand in front of his face.

"We'll get there, maybe." She patted his head, "Now can you go ask that doctor when I can leave?" she asked.

"Yea." He nodded, he left and returned with a stack of clothes, "Here you go." He tossed them to her, "They want to keep you for a few more tests and then you're free, I'll take you home afterwards."

"Thanks." She stood up, "do you mind?" she eyed him, "Not at all." He said off handedly, "EhHem." She cleared her throat, "Anton I do not have anything on other than underwear under this hospital gown." She reminded him.

"Oh, oh, Right, I'll just." He slid out of the room sheepishly. Lucy nodded and sighed when he closed the door, "God it's a good thing he is cute." She muttered and changed into her red blouse and grey slacks from before.

(Later that day.)

"So are you ready for that test from the ministry?" Anton asked, "Yep, any day now." Lucy hung her purse on the chair. "I have to go back to Bulgaria tonight, but I will see you as much as I can." He promised, "OoOoh My first long distance relationship with an older man." Lucy whistled, "Fun fun."

"How old are you anyway?" Anton asked, "I told you I'm seventeen, Eighteen in July." Lucy ruffled his hair. "I got you a little going away present."

"Lucy you shouldn't have done that," Anton protested, "Yes yes, and Hitler shouldn't have invade Poland." She thrust a wrapped gift in his hands, "Just open it."

He unwrapped it and held a leather bound note book, "It's lovely Lucy." He smiled, "That's not the best part, watch." She grabbed a matching book off the table and a pencil.

She scribbled on a blank page and Anton's book grew warm, he opened it up and words scrawled themselves across the page.

Hey Dummy.

"Very clever." Anton nodded impressed, "Now we don't have to wait till the mail comes just to talk." Lucy explained, "We better get going, or else they're going to leave without you."

They returned to the castle where crowds of student said goodbye to each other, "Promise me you won't almost die while I'm gone." Anton said, "I'll try." Lucy promised. "Promise me you won't be chasing any Bulgarian girls while you're away." She countered, "I promise."

"EhHem." They turned to meet the gaze of Karkaroff eye eyed them disapprovingly, "Sir." They nodded awkwardly, "Hurry up, we leave soon." He ordered, "Yes sir." Anton obeyed, "Well, I will see you soon hopefully." Lucy hugged him and pecked his cheek. "Bye." He boarded the ship and waved until it disappeared under the waves of the lake.

"So what now." Hermione walked up beside her, "Everything is going to be different." Lucy nodded, "Here, promise you'll write to me." Hermione handed her a scrap of paper. "Will you stay in Hogsmead?"

"I think so, at least for the time being, I have enough money to pay the rent and live comfortably for at least a year," Lucy planed out having saved all her money from her job at the Three Broom stick.

"Watch out for Harry for me will you?" Hermione asked, "Make sure nothing bad happened to him?"

"Of course." Lucy agreed, "I might get a dog." She said randomly, "What?" Hermione looked at her oddly, "A Dog, my mum made me promise that I would get some form of security. And what better than a Dog?" Lucy explained.

"Ooookkay," Hermione drummed on the cement railing, "Your test is coming up right?"

"Yes, in a few days."

Hermione nodded, "I have to leave tomorrow morning, so I guess this is goodbye."

"Not for long." Lucy assured.
