It's been a week since Tiff had made her new friend, and there had been a lot more Disney conversations. Hanna was feeling better, and Caleb and she were discussing about him moving in. The apartment was his mothers, and so was the furniture. He could easily give the apartment back to Claudia or he could rent it.
"Let me pay all the bills." Caleb said to Hanna once Tiff had gone to bed.
"No." Hanna said.
"Why not?"
Hanna stayed silent for a moment, trying to find a reason to tell him why he couldn't pay the bills. "Because, I don't want you too."
"Why? In high school, you loved me spending money on you."
"That was in high school, and it was before I had Tiff." Hanna said, moving her position on the couch so her head was laying in Caleb's lap. He started stroking her hair, and bent down and kissed the top of her head.
"Give me an actual reason, Hanna. I want to pay them, I love you, and I want to pay them for you, because of that."
"Caleb, I can't let you do that. I mean, I love you too, but I can't let you pay all of my bills. It's too much to ask for."
"You're not asking for it, I'm giving it to you."
"I mean, if you want to do it, I'm not stopping you, but it's a lot to offer." Hanna said, and Caleb chuckled quietly.
"I wanna pay them, and I'm going too."
"Fine." Hanna said, finally agreeing. "What do you wanna do tomorrow?"
"Why don't we go to the beach?" Caleb asked, and tomorrow was a Saturday.
"You remembered I told you that?" Hanna asked.
"Of course I did." Caleb said. "What about it?"
"Yeah, but don't tell Tiff, we'll make it a surprise."
Caleb smiled. "Great." He paused. "And you know, I haven't seen you in a bikini for ages."
"Oh my god." Hanna said, laughing. She sat herself up, laughing, and kissed Caleb. "I," kiss, "can't," kiss, "believe," kiss, "you."
Caleb smiled, and laughed. Hanna rested her head on his shoulder, and breathed out. "I can always wear a bikini now." She whispered.
"Then I'll take it off you, but I think it will be quicker if we move to the bedroom, and I take everything off you now."
Hanna grinned, and the two moved to the bedroom.
…
Tiff ran into Hanna and Caleb's bedroom in the middle of the night and jumped onto Caleb.
Caleb groaned, and woke up, slowly, his eyes half-shut. "Yeah, princess?"
"I'm scared." Tiff whispered, snuggling up to Caleb's chest. "I had a bad dream."
"What was it about?"
"A zombie was trying to eat me."
"You know what a zombie looks like."
"We have cable, daddy."
Caleb laughed, and kissed his daughter's head. "Do you want me to check if there is a monster in your bed?"
Tiffany shook her head. "Mummy lets me stay in bed, can I stay the bed?"
"Of course you can." Caleb said. "Let's sit you down in the middle of us." Caleb said, before lifting Tiff into the middle of Hanna and him, and he placed his arm around both of them. "Good night princess."
"Nighty night daddy." Tiff said, snuggling up against Hanna's back who was still fast asleep, but then again, who could blame her. The two had only fallen asleep just a little after midnight after quite a few hours of activities.
…
Hanna woke up to Tiff in her bed and Caleb not in it. She kissed her daughter's forehead before leaving her bedroom which was the same exact time Caleb left the bathroom with a towel hanging around his waist. "Good timing, huh?" Hanna asked, smiling.
Caleb chuckled. "Very good timing."
Hanna walked over to him, and kissed him gently. "Last night was fun."
He smirked. "I know."
Hanna kissed his cheek before walking to the kettle and putting it on so she could make some coffee for her and Caleb. "Why's Tiff in our bed?"
"Ah, she had a bad dream, so I let her sleep with us." Caleb said.
Hanna groaned, raking a hand through her hair.
"What?" Caleb asked.
"She had the problem with monsters under the bed when she transitioned from a cot to a big girl bed, and I really don't want it to come up again. It took a long time to get her sleep pattern normal, it was a very tiring process."
"I bet it was."
"Toby and Spencer helped some nights so I could actually get some sleep and work done." Hanna said; she breathed out. "I can't wait for the beach."
"Me neither."
Hanna tilted her head back, and cracked her neck. "I need to relax for a day."
Caleb chuckled.
…
"No, where are we going?" Tiff asked, in the car, for about the dozen time; they were only ten minutes into their journey to the beach.
"Hmm, guess." Hanna said.
"I don't know, and if I guess it right you won't tell me if it's right or wrong." Tiff said. "So I won't guess mummy."
"Come on, it'll be fun, Tiff." Caleb said.
"Where are we going?" Tiff whined. "I don't like this."
"You'll know, why don't you look out the window, it might give you a clue, little diamond." Hanna said.
Tiffany huffed, and cuddled her bunny closer to her. She placed her pointer finger in her mouth and sucked on it. "There's no clues!"
Hanna smiled. "Keep looking sweetheart."
Tiffany gasped as she saw a signpost which said beach on it. "Mummy, are we going to the beach?"
Hanna clapped. "Yeah, we are. Well done, sweetie."
"Yay. Can I have an ice cream when we're there?"
"I think you should ask daddy that question."
"Daddy, can I have ice cream there?" Tiff asked.
"I think you can have maybe two ice creams when we're there." Caleb said. "And you can play in the sea and build sandcastles."
Tiffany grinned, her finger still in her mouth. "It's gonna be sooooo fun."
"Yeah, it will be." Hanna said, smiling over at Caleb.
So, I'm back. And hopefully I will be for a bit. I might upload a Haleb oneshot which has been in my documents for a long time, like six months. But, I might be able to post another chapter next week, we'll see, I think I know how to carry next one on. Hope you liked it.
