Lena and Maggie sat quietly in the helicopter. Lena appeared calm and collected, but on the inside she was fuming that her mother was doing this to her again. Will she ever break free? And now, it was made even worse by bringing Maggie into all of this. Alex would literally kill her if anything happened to Maggie.

The helicopter flew for, what felt like hours, before landing on a tall building. Lillian was helped off and then Lena and Maggie were practically pushed off and forced to follow behind Lillian. Lena glanced over to Maggie and mouthed 'sorry'. Maggie merely nodded her head and kept walking. They were escorted in to a dark room that had a table and four chairs. Pushed into the room, they stumbled towards the table. The door shut behind them leaving them alone.

"I am really sorry about this" Lena said sincerely as she straightened her skirt.

"Don't worry about it Luthor" Maggie said, looking around the room. "Where do you think we are?"

"Knowing my mother, we are probably in one of her evil lairs" Lena chuckled.

"Is that a joke?" Maggie asked, giving Lena a shocked look.

Lena just smiled as she began to wander the room, also surveying if there were any means of escape. "Why did you say you were my girlfriend?" Lena asked softly, not looking towards Maggie.

"Well, I've had a major crush on you forever and I thought this might be my one chance to actually have you as my girlfriend, even if it is just for pretend" Maggie said seriously.

"Wait…What?" Lena exclaimed, stopping dead in her tracks and turning to look at Maggie. "I…I mean…I…"

"Relax Luthor. I was just joking" laughed Maggie. "Man, you should see the look on your face!" she continued to laugh.

"It's not that funny" Lena smiled. "But seriously, why?"

"Well, we both know your girlfriend is a little under the weather" Maggie said, making air quotes around 'under the weather'. "I just really don't want her mixed up in this until she is feeling her complete self again" Maggie said with a shrug. "I thought it was safer if we just went along with it."

"Wow, I can see why Alex loves you" Lena said turning to look fully at Maggie.

"Well, I am awesome" Maggie smiled. "So how do you suggest we get out of here?" she asked, scanning the room again.

"Truthfully, I really have no idea. I think maybe it is best we wait and see what my mother's plans really are and go from there" Lena shrugged.

"I am okay with that" Maggie said, pulling out a chair and plopping herself down on it.

Meanwhile, back at the DEO, Alex had escalated the situation into a missing persons case and all agents were put to the task of finding Lena and Maggie. Kara had just gotten off of the phone with Jess. "Lena is definitely not there. She says that Lena gave her an extra-long lunch and didn't see anyone come or go. She just assumed Lena was in a meeting."

"And no one has seen Maggie at the NCPD" Alex sighed. "And you couldn't trace her phone at all?" Alex almost pleaded looking towards Winn.

"I'm sorry, Alex. I don't have any trace of her yet, but I am running the face recognition software using security cameras around the city. We will find her" Winn reassured.

"Okay, good. And what about the satellites. Are you able to scan for anything using those?" Alex continued.

"I've tried to pick up on any differences in the electronic field, possibly pick up on some alien activity, but nothing there either" explained Winn.

"Okay, what about…." Alex began.

"Kara, Alex, come with me" J'onn said as he suddenly appeared and walked towards the conference room. He nodded for the ladies to follow. Kara and Alex looked at each other before quickly following.

J'onn closed the door behind them. "Have a seat ladies."

"J'onn we really need to keep looking for them. Can you make this quick" Alex said with a huff as she sat down on the chair.

"You two will do no more looking" J'onn said flatly. "I'm taking you off the case. You two need to go home."

"Oh, you have got to be kidding me" Alex said standing up.

"I am very serious Alex. You need to go home. You are too emotionally attached to this. You aren't thinking straight." J'onn said softly, but with authority.

"I'm not too emotional. I am thinking perfectly straight" Alex protested.

"You need to remove yourself from this case, or I will have to remove you" J'onn continued. "You need to go home."

"I'm not leaving, not until we know where Maggie is and can bring her home" Alex argued.

"I will not fight about this with you" J'onn reiterated.

"I am..." Alex began, but was quickly cut off by Kara.

"It's okay J'onn. I get it. Come on Alex, we should go" Kara said, placing a hand on her sister's shoulder.

"What? You can't be serious Kara. It's Maggie and Lena!" Alex practically shouted as she turned to look at Kara.

"I know! Trust me. I get it completely. I feel like I just went through this with Lena" Kara said, her eyes tearing up. "But I trust J'onn and Winn and everyone else here" she said as she put both hands on Alex's arms pulling her into a hug. "We just need to trust them. They will get them back." she said softly. She pulled Alex in tighter as she felt Alex's body begin to shake as she broke down in tears.

J'onn quietly excused himself giving the two sisters some privacy. "Come on Winn, it's time to bring them home" he said as he began riffling through a pile of charts.

Meanwhile, Lena and Maggie had been escorted out of the dark, cramped room, and now found themselves in a large penthouse suite that over looked a vast body of water. The room was mostly white; white walls, white furniture, white everything. It reminded Lena a lot of her office.

"I've been in a lot of peculiar situations, but I think this one tops the cake. First we are in a cellar, and now we are here. What does your mother want?" Maggie puzzled as she looked at the view that presented itself from the ceiling to floor length windows.

"I wish I knew" Lena said, almost under her breath. "I can tell you this, nothing my mother does surprises me."

Just then, a knock at the door caused both women to turn. It was opened slowly by a large man in a black suit. Lillian followed closely behind.

"Why are we here, Mother?" Lena asked without giving Lillian a chance to say anything.

"Do I need a reason to spend time with my child?" Lillian fiend hurt.

"You always needed a reason in the past" Lena said angrily.

"What? Maybe I just want to spend time with my daughter and get to know her girlfriend" Lillian said in an almost sincere voice.

"I find that very hard to believe" Maggie said, walking over so that she stood beside Lena.

"No, please, my darlings. Let's start again" Lillian walked over and took a hold of one of each of their hands. "I truly want you here, and I really want to get to know you" Lillian said, giving Maggie's hand a little squeeze. "So please, come join me for dinner. You will find appropriate clothing in the bedroom over there" she said with a nod.

"But Mother…" Lena began, still fuming.

"No, no. No buts. Just come out when you are ready, and Frank over there will show you to the dining room" Lillian finished with throwing an arm around both Lena and Maggie and pulling them into a hug. She smiled at them as she turned to leave and Frank closed the door behind them.

"That was strange, right?" Maggie asked looking at Lena.

"That was very strange" Lena confirmed.
