"So… How have you been?"

Ron snorted noting the nervous way Wade asked the question. He debated how to answer him and ultimately whether he should give the young genius any grief for having asked. He knew he was trying to be nice but Ron wasn't a fan of the concern in his voice. He had done his best to fill Wade in on what was happening in his life but….

Old grudges were hard to dissipate especially when it came to a certain green skinned villainess.

"Oh you know how these things are" Ron said casually as he checked the auto pilot one more time and rose from the pilots chair. He decided to make light of it and tease the young man a little.

"Waging a war against the African and American Government has its highs and lows" Ron quipped flipping the beak of his hood up as the jet passed a pair of snowcapped mountains. The ice reflected off the sun creating a small rainbow of colors across the cockpit.

"I probably shouldn't have asked…"

Wade's voice came from the speakers in the small jet. Ron found comfort in it remembering the many missions both with and without Kim he and the young man partook in. It seemed like a life time ago to Ron and ultimately a simpler time in his life. As simple as jet setting around the world and taking down mad scientist could be.

It was a life he wasn't sure he missed.

"So Wade" Ron asked moving into the back and flicking a few switches "What have you been up to since we last spoke?"

"Besides looking for Kim?" Wade asked "Looking into our new Global Justice friends… And trying my best to help you"

"Help me?" Ron asked stopping in surprise not having expected that answer.

"Surely you know what the news has been saying about me?"

"You mean the bullshit?" Wade laughed surprising Ron by cursing "I don't believe it and you know that! Ron we've worked together for years I know you're a good guy I've seen you and Kim in action enough I mean even your pet is a hero!"

"Oh man Rufus would love that" Ron laughed going over to the hatch in the center of the jet. The jet pitched following the coordinates Ron had punched in moments ago.

"Where is the little guy?" Wade asked the sound of typing rhythmic as he manned his computers.

"Back in Africa" Ron replied taking a deep breath and centering himself "He was getting stir crazy so I sent him on a mission of sorts little guy was happy to get out of the village the children like to take turns running after him I miss him but he's helping me out and he enjoys it"

Wade chuckled and Ron smiled. It truly was just like old times. Doctor Drakken, Ron and Wade, and there was only one thing missing (well two if you counted Rufus).

Kim

"Any change to the lair?" Ron asked continuing to center himself as the plane began to decelerate.

"Not so far" Wade replied his fingers tap tap tapping away as he worked "I'm surprised our new friends at Global Justice haven't stormed the place yet"

"Doctor Drakken did at least one thing right" Ron replied back just as the lights in the bay turned red "By playing it on every channel he's made sure everyone is watching they'll have to do things the stealthy way or risk bad press… luckily for me I already have bad press"

"About that" Wade said pausing as a short alarm blared through the bay signaling their rapid approach to the drop point "I'm sorry I can only imagine how hard it's been on you… uh and your ladies"

"You know the old saying Wade" Ron replied shrugging and rolling his shoulders.

"To make an omelet you have to break some eggs"

"Destination reached" The Auto Pilot chirped coming in through the speakers "Opening hatch door in three….two…. one"

The hatch underneath Ron opened wind and gravity ripping him out of the jet and into the crisp cold air. Ron cloak whistled in the air flapping like the wings of a bird. The mountains rushed up to meet him along with a familiar lair built into the side of the mountain. Memories of the last time he was here filtered through the back of his head reminding him of the narrow escape from the self-destruct.

"Ah good old lair" Ron murmured angling his body and pointing himself at it like an arrow. Memories of past missions bubbled back to the surface not just of the lair but other Drakken fights. Even though it was a serious situation Ron couldn't help but laugh at the memories of him screaming during free falling, losing his pants somehow, and or goofing up the insert somehow. Yet somehow the team always pulled it off beating whatever villain of the weak and saving the day.

"You know Wade" Ron said as the ground got closer and closer "We really did make a good team"

"We still do"

Ron felt a rush of affection for the young man but decided not to say anymore. He was nearing the final pushing skirting over a ring of trees just on the outside of the mansion. His powers flared up and he pushed himself down grabbing onto the tree branches as he stopped his fall. The first branch broke but he compensated swinging from tree to tree and keeping his momentum. The lair approached the building full of holes from the last time it self-destructed and reminding Ron of swiss cheese. Ron choose a hole and with one final swing of the tree branch launched himself up and into the wreckage.

He sailed through the hole skidding to a stop amidst the rubble and wreckage. Ron immediately moved into a defensive crouch his eyes scanning and taking stock of where he was. The door was closed cutting the cramped storage room off from the worst of the blast. Ron began to make his way to the door stepping over crates of Doctor Drakkens Shampoo as he went.

"Looks like you're in one of the store rooms" Wade chimed in speaking through an earpiece "Pulling up the schematics now"

"You rock Wade" Ron replied going over to the door and testing it. It swung open easily leading to a partially demolished corridor. Snow piled up making the hallway look like a checkerboard. A few birds roosting in the corner took flight dancing above his head for a second before disappearing through one of the holes in the wall.

"Give me some options to get down" Ron whispered moving down the hallway and doing his best to keep out of the snow.

"Should be a elevator after the next corner" Wade replied the tapping of his keyboard keeping Ron company "As long as the shafts intact you should be able to get down"

"I see it" Ron remarked reaching the elevator doors in questions. He paused focusing his energy into his hands before digging into the seam. It split and he pulled pushing the doors apart easily. A blast of cold air hit him causing his body to shiver and tighten as he peered down the elevator shaft.

"Looks clear Wade" Ron remarked reaching out to test the elevator cord. He leapt wrapping his foot around it and make sure the cord was tight before he began to slide down into the dusty darkness.

"I've got a satellite working for us" Wade chimed in as Ron carefully slid down the line "I'm trying to run a heat scan now to check for our Global Justice friends"

"I doubt there going to show up" Ron said wincing at how short he sounded "Sorry Wade I just know these guys their professionals they'll have a way to skirt a heat scan"

"And apparently an ancient order dedicated to controlling the world" Ron thought sliding down into the darkness of the broken elevator shaft. He thought about filling the young man in on what was REALLY going on with his little take over the world scheme. Wade was a genius and enough of a nerd that he would probably geek out over things like Templars and Assassin orders and secret wars. Yet Ron held back naturally protective of the young male who had much to still learn. Would he take it serious? Perhaps? But inviting him in put him at risk. Wade wouldn't sit on the information he would begin to poke.

Make himself known

"Looks like I am at the end" Ron whispered dropping down onto the ruined elevator. He pushed his hands down ripping the access hatch off and carefully laying it to the side. He slipped in dropping down into the elevator and moving to the demolished doors.

"Hear anything?" Wade whispered as Ron peeked out of the opening of the elevators double doors.

"No" Ron whispered his eyes flashing neon blue as he scanned the area. The cavernous basement was utterly dark and as silent as a church. Ron strained pushing his powers into enhancing his eyesight as he tried to find any hint of Kim Possible.

"Not yet at least" Ron whispered carefully pulling himself out of the elevator shaft. He rose to his feet slowly picking his way through the bits of rubble and rock scattered around the hallway. His hand glowed blue casting a subtle light that reflected off the light to give an indigo hue to his surroundings.

"Still nothing on the sensors" Wade whispered.

Ron didn't say anything instead closing his eyes and reaching out with his other senses. Touch, smell, hearing all mixed together giving him a six sense as he moved forward through the partially destroyed lair. Above the lair groaned a deep mournful groan that spoke of the pain the building was in . Ron heard it, he felt it, he touched it. The building settling above him its weight pressing down on exposed gliders and demolished load bearing pillars.

"Wade were going to have to pick it up" Ron whispered reaching one of the large antechambers that made up the basement.

"The buildings going to fall in two hours"

"How do you know that?" Wade asked in surprise.

"My powers" Ron replied back the blow glow morphing into a flame that flickered in his hands "They've… evolved it's a long story"

"Sounds like the new tittle of your life" Wade joked snorting.

Ron chuckled at that but didn't bother to comment on how true that really was. Instead he reached out with his senses once more and letting the broken lair wash over him. Once he could hear EVERYTHING he began to filter out the ambient noise. The groaning of the structure, the bugs and insects scurrying through the cracks in the foundation, the snow falling onto the roof outside, he removed them all instead focusing on his target and his target alone.

Then he found her

Three hallways down a shuddering breath was taken. The breath was strained the breath of someone who was hurt. That breath carried inward causing A pair of strong lungs to expand and the steady thump thump of a young heart to continue. The person's skin prickled shivering and goosebumps popping up as the person let out a hacking nasty cough.

"Found you KP" Ron whispered

His target found Ron began to search for Doctor Drakken. He was easy to find as he paced in the corridor outside of Kim's "cell". It didn't take super powers to know Doctor Drakken was nervous in the video but now that he had Ron's full attention Ron could see how bad it was. The doctor was awash in fear and pure terror. His heart beat against his rib cage as if it was trying to get out, and even though it was ten degrees outside and dropping the man sweated bullets. He was utterly quite utterly not a word or sound as he kept pacing.

"What has got you so spooked Doctor D" Ron murmured cocking his head to the side. He was about to move when he paused the hairs on the back of his neck rising up.

"There here" Ron told Wade his voice steady and calm "Archer and the new Global Justice don't ask me how I know bring the jet back around so I can get these two the hell out of here"

"I don't see anything on sensors" Wade replied "I'll run another-"

Ron expected it but the loss of Wade in his ear still caused him to wince. His friend and backup was gone taken by Archer. He knew going in that Archer would cut out communications had been waiting for it ever since he reached the lair. Even so the idea of being alone with Drakken and having lost his backup made Ron nervous.

"I hope you know what to do Wade" Ron murmured taking a deep breath and letting his fear and worries wash away.

Ron needed to move

So, move he did pouring on the speed as he raced through the rest of the basements corridors. He reached the room Drakken was pacing in a matter of moments and grabbed the doctor from behind before he could make a move. Ron slammed him against the wall blowing away the lose rubble and rock that fell like snow around them. Doctor Drakken and Ron starred at each other for several long seconds gauging each other. This close Ron could smell the stink of fear and adrenalin on the mad doctor. His clothes were soiled covered in all manners of stains Ron didn't wish to know about.

"We are getting out of here" Ron said releasing him and moving towards Kim's cell "Your lucky doctor D that Shego vouched for you but I swear if a single hair on Kim's head is hurt I may rethink my promise to Shego"

Doctor Drakken didn't say anything instead brushing off the dirt on his tattered lab coat and shuffling after Ron. If he thought anything of Ron's threat he didn't say anything. Doctor Drakken quite only made Ron more nervous. Fighting Doctor Drakken during his years with Kim had been… Well not easy but hard to take seriously. During all his adventures and fights against Drakken Ron was never scared of the Mad Doctor. He always reminded Ron of a cartoon character! All bluster and exaggeration and no real bite.

Yet now….

Ron felt a flicker of fear towards the Doctor.

He pushed it away for now focusing instead on Kim and keeping his senses open in case Doctor Drakken did attack. They went into Kim's cell and Drakken stepped forward going over to the bar Kim's left hand was chained to and unlocking it with a simple brass key. Ron rushed to her side moving the blanket down to assess her vitals.

"Kim I'm here" Ron whispered to her stroking her limp red hair with one hand as the other checked her pulse. A surge of relief filled Ron as he felt the weak pulse beat against his fingers. He pushed the blanket down lower his eyes running over her body as he assessed the rest of her.

What he saw shocked him.

Her body was rail thin almost anorexic in its appearance. Bruises of all kinds dotted her body. Her skin once soft and pale now had an oily sheen. Her face was sunken in lines of exhaustion and stress telling a story Ron couldn't beat to look at.

"Careful" Doctor Drakken said his voice rough and hoarse as if he hadn't talked in some time.

"She's been having the sweats… I believe she is going through drug withdrawals"

"Drug withdrawals?" Ron snapped turning to glaring at him "What did you give her doctor D?!"

"What?!" Doctor Drakken gasped throwing his arms up in shock glaring at Ron as if offended "I the great Doctor Draken stooping so low as to use simple drugs on my greatest enemy? That's preposterous and beneath me"

"Well someone had to do it!" Ron snapped back reaching out to check Kim for any further damage "You think Little Miss Perfect would drug herself?"

Doctor Drakken grunted at that turning and shuffling out of the room as Ron tended to Kim. His best friend was out of it no matter how hard Ron tried to wake her. He gave up trying to wake her after a few moments instead bundling her up under the blanket and lifting her into his arms. The jet featured a small med bed he could use to figure out what was going on.

"I'm getting you both out of here" Ron told Drakken carrying Kim against his chest "But we need to move"

"Of course," Drakken said his eyes shifting back and forth across the room like a caged animal "This way"

Drakken led him down a side hatch bringing Ron to a small service elevator jerry rigged to a generator. He kicked started the generator gesturing for Ron to get onto the platform. The elevator began to move with a shudder starting to lift and giving Drakken just enough time to scramble on.

"This will take us to the atrium" Drakken explained ringing his hands as the freight elevator moved up the rocky tunnel "We can leave there"

"Got it" Ron said glancing down once more to make sure Kim was okay and covered by the blanket "So what happened Doctor D? Care to explain what's got you so spooked?"

"No" Doctor Drakken snapped as the elevator shuddered to a stop "I am Doctor Drakken! I do not get spooked"

"If you say so" Ron remarked as Drakken opened the service hatch. Ron knew he was lying but decided not to push it any more. His mission was to get them both out Shego could figure out what happened to Drakken. He would talk to her maybe even reveal why Archer was so interested in him.

The group stepped out coming into a circular atrium with a huge doomed window that was set up to showcase the snowcapped mountain they were under. The dome was cracked in several places and in several areas a group of steel girders had punctured the glass like a spear almost taking it down. The walkway and viewing platforms above them was broken as well twisting out at all angles as if someone had plucked and pulled it in several places.

"The exits over here" Drakken explained pointing to a hallway to the left "We can make our escape here I just need-"

"GET DOWN!" Ron shouted keeping Kim held in one hand and grabbing Drakken with his free hand. He gave the Doctor a pull throwing him back into the service hatch just as the world exploded above them. What was left of the glass dome exploded turning into a rain of sharp glass that cascaded down all around him. Ron's power flared creating an aura around him that deflected the glass as he rushed over to the service hatch he kept his body over Kim's protecting her from any shards his powers didn't take care of.

"I will be back to come get you keep Kim safe and don't make a sound" Ron said locking eyes with Drakken. Ron put Kim down pushing her back into the elevator as Drakken nodded. He closed the hatch behind them his powers flaring up as he prepared himself for what was to come.

Ron made sure the hatch was secure before he turned pressing himself against the shadows. He watched as they descended down from the dome rappelling directly into the atrium from what sounded like a helicopter above. The soldiers fanned out the goggles on their eyes glowing green as they leveled high tech looking assault rifles. They began to move precise, methodical, and utterly focused.

"Archer" Ron whispered his eyes flashing blue as he studied the soldiers taking in every last detail and piece of equipment they were carrying. Everything about them was top of the line and deadly.

He would have to be deadlier

He let them fan out watching with interest as they took up firing positions and employed their tactics. Once again Ron closed his eyes letting his senses take over. Once he saw everything from the building, to the snow falling outside, and the soldiers hunting him did he move. Two on the left were first having moved just far enough away from him to take them down. He used the crosswalks above to his advantage crawling across it like Spider-Man as he got himself into position. He waited until they were directly below him patiently waiting for them to get into place before he dropped down on them. He dropped kicking one snapping their leg as his hand clamped around the neck of the other one. He kicked the one on the ground taking them out and cracking their helmet.

"Nightie night" Ron whispered to the one in his hand. He increased the pressure on the soldier's neck and seconds later he was out like a light his body slumping as he went limp.

"Two down" Ron thought pushing them deeper into the shadow of the walkway. He paused taking the time to rip the radio out of the soldier's helmet before disappearing back into the shadows.

"Wade you back with me?" Ron asked watching the other soldiers as they began to poke down the rooms and corridors dotting the Atrium "I know Archer can't keep you silent forever"

"Of course, Ron" Wade said back "I managed to get through their little communications blackout I'm doing everything possible to keep them from tracing you I would have let you known sooner but you seem kind of busy"

"I need you to do something else to" Ron told him pulling out the IQ Phone keeping them connected "I managed to pry a radio off one of them can you use it to patch me in?"

"Damn right I can" Wade said happily "put the IQ phone up to it"

Ron did as he was told watching the screen as the communications device was scanned and Wade began to hack into it. The device vibrated and seconds later radio chatter began to filter through Ron's ear piece.

"Check in check in"

"Negative sighting in the southwest corner"

"Can you manage it Wade?" Ron asked creeping forward to the southwest corner "To much noise is going to screw me up monitor the channel for me and watch my back"

"Can do" Wade replied as Ron spotted a trio of soldiers kicking open doors in the kitchen. He followed them his feet gently gliding over the rubble. He reached out for the one closest to him wrapping his forearm around their neck and clamping a hand over their mouth the minute he got in range. He brought the soldier down to the ground listening for the soldiers up ahead as the soldier slowly passed out in his arms.

He dropped the solider gently onto the ground and went after the other two. He got as close as possible before jumping into action. He slid in between them unleashing a flurry of punches and kicks that dropped them to the floor before they could put up a fight.

"Ron there are two more coming your way" Wade chimed in "I think they are starting to realize you're here"

"Let them"

Ron moved forward listening for the crunch of glass as two more soldiers came his way. He reached into the leather belt around his waist plucking a throwing knife and flipping it in his hands. They inched closer and closer to him and Ron sensed their heart stutter in surprise as they finally laid eyes on him. They both began to raise their assault rifles their eyes narrowing at him….

"Hey-"

He flicked the knife out of his hand sending it sailing into the knee of the lead soldier. The soldier dropped a scream beginning to tear out of his mouth from the pain.

Ron didn't let him get that far

He was on them both within seconds. A hard kick sent the one on the floor scattering and knocking him out. Ron wasn't subtle with the older soldier punching him directly and cracking his helmet in half. The man dropped crumpling like a puppet with his strings cut falling onto the soldier on the floor.

"Patch me into the radio" Ron told Wade striding out into the center of the atrium.

Ron was done being subtle.

"You sure that's-"

"Please Wade"

"Alright….." There was a pause followed by a rapid flurry of key strokes.

"You're on"

"Archer!" Ron shouted starring up at the destroyed glass dome "Why don't you stop sending the goon squad in and come out yourself We need to talk!"

Within seconds Ron got his answer

The base rumbled shaking and groaning from an unseen force. The whine of a jet sounded from overhead and seconds later it appeared coming from behind the mountain like a mythological dragon. It flew overhead kicking up dust and causing the entire structure to groan once more as it hovered above Ron. The two doors on the bottom slid open revealing agents that began to drop down.

They weren't soldiers this time

There were four of them each more impossibly beautiful than the rest. Impeccably dressed in tight dresses and suits they looked as if they belonged in a model shoot and not the destroyed lair. They leveled futuristic looking handguns at him watching him and seemingly ready to shot at the slightest move. He tensed ready to move resisting the urge to glance where Kim and Drakken were hiding at.

"Excellent work Mr. Stoppable"

Archer came down rappelling directly into the middle of the four agents. He regarded Ron a large smile on his face as he tucked his hands into his pocket.

"You continue to surprise me young man" Archer proclaimed grinning "Those powers of yours are pretty damn impressive son"

"I don't want any trouble" Ron told him raising his hands hoping to reason with Archer "I just want to get Kim and Drakken out of here and go"

"Don't want any trouble?" Archer questioned chuckling "Ever since I left you you've caused nothing but trouble! My superiors are asking for your head on a silver platter"

"The Templars?" Ron asked raising an eyebrow "You don't seem like the type to be into hush hush secret societies"

Archer eyes widened in surprise clearly shocked by Ron's level of knowledge.

"Kid you are impressive!" Archer said surprising Ron by clapping "Honestly you continue to amaze me! Your right I prefer to be more direct in my dealings but the Templars pay well enough for me to deal with it"

"And what do the Templars want with Doctor Drakken?" Ron asked snorting "Doctor Drakken frankly seems small fry for someone as powerful as they"

"You would think so" Archer remarked sighing "But the good doctor is critical to my plans leave him with me and I will let you and Ms. Possible go my superiors want me to capture you on sight but… I would rather not"

"No!"

Two of the agents turned leveling their guns at Doctor Drakken. Ron watched his eyes wide at the feral look on the good doctor's face. He had never seen Drakken so angry…

So Panicked

"Ah there you are doctor!" Archer said turning to regard Drakken "Please don't make this any harder than it needs to be I promise this time as long as you behave we won't have to play rough this time"

"I will not go back!" Drakken shouted spit flying from his mouth as he shouted

"I am Doctor Drakken! I am a genius! I am no one's lackey! I am no one's Buffon!"

"Looks like the Doctor D has made his mind up" Ron said stepping forward and narrowing his eyes ignoring the buffoon comment "Leave Archer"

Archer sighed glancing at both Ron and Doctor Drakken. He studied them both gauging them for several long seconds as Ron tensed and waited. When Archer finally spoke it was short and to the point.

"No"

The four agents moved blurring into motion. Within seconds Ron knew, knew that he was dealing with someone on a whole other level than the futuristic soldiers he fought before. They moved as fast as him splitting up to take Drakken and Ron down. Two of them went after Doctor Drakken causing him to yelp in fear and run. The other two rushed at Ron guns leveled. Ron's own body blurred into motion knocking the guns away as soon as they were in range. He pivoted to the side trying to side step them and get to Doctor Drakken.

The agents blocked him, a woman with short red hair threw a high kick as the other agent a man with black hair attacked him from the side with a flurry of punches. Ron blocked the kick grunting at the force of the kick and the power behind it. They were strong to almost as strong as him.

Almost at least

Ron flexed his powers sending out a shockwave force that pushed the two back. Ron jumped forward grabbing the back of the man's head and slamming his knee into his nose. Ron felt and heard the crunch but kept moving flipping over the man to kick the women and force her back. He pushed away from them pumping his hands as he sped over to the two racing after Doctor Drakken.

"Doctor D duck!" Ron shouted running right at the doctor.

Drakken ducked cowering as Ron leap frogged over him. He twisted his body in midair and launched a spinning kick at the agent closest to him an icy blonde with a ferocious look on her face. His kick clipped her in the chin sending her spinning back. The other agent a man with spiky brown hair came forward swiping at him with a long-jagged knife Ron recognized as a Karambit. The curved jagged knife swiped at Ron tearing a jagged scar across his costume and missing skin by an inch.

The agent swiped again and Ron reached out grabbing his hand at the last minute. The knife inches from Ron's throat he and the agent struggled for a few precious seconds before Ron finally managed to deflect it knocking it out of his hand and sending it scattering across the rubble. Ron pushed him back sending him cartwheeling into the other agents rushing at him.

"Give it up Mr. Stoppable" Archer called out still watching Ron "You're in the big leagues now Ron! We Templars have been operating for millenniums we control the world! Did you think we would be so easily defeated?"

Ron growled pushing out Archers words. The four agents were circling him know poised to strike like snakes.

"Wade if you have any ideas I would love to hear them" Ron murmured narrowing his eyes and tracking the agents keeping Doctor Drakken behind him.

"Stoppable" Doctor Drakken said surprising Ron by using his name "If you cover me I have a plan"

"Uh no offense Drakken" Ron said still tracking the four agents "But your plans…. Well they aren't known for getting results"

"Oh please" Doctor Drakken snapped arrogantly "Kim Possible is not here to wreck my plans, now is she? These Global Justice Buffoons couldn't handle me on my best day"

"I got nothing Ron" Wade chimed in "He is due for a win"

"Alright" Ron said relenting "Doctor Drakken get ready to move"

Ron's powers flared up causing the four agents to tense in response. Ron let the power built focusing it into his hands. They burst into blue flames flickering angrily as Ron prepared himself. The chanting of monkeys began to sound in his head gaining volume as he let the power continue to build.

"Now Doctor Drakken!" Ron shouted

Ron jumped forward slamming his fist down on the ground. A shockwave of blue energy cascaded around his fist knocking the agents back and sending them scattering into the rubble. Ron didn't pause to admire his handiwork instead following after Doctor Drakken as he attempted to clamber up the broken walkway and onto the platforms above. He raced forward grabbing Drakken by his shirt and throwing him up before leaping onto the platform himself.

"Hurry up Drakken!" Ron shouted to Drakken as Drakken rusher over to a small lab overlooking the mountain side. The agents were already recovering leaping forward and clambering up the broken metal walkway after them like ants. Ron reached out his hands wrapping around a piece of railing and snapping it off with a burst of his powers. He tested the pole swinging it from side to side as he glanced back at Drakken.

"Don't rush me!" Drakken snapped catching his look and waving him off "Focus on protecting me buffoon!"

"He says don't rush me" Ron murmured rolling his eyes "Now I know what Shego feels like"

He jumped forward cracking the pipe against one of the agents climbing up the walkway the icy blonde woman. She ducked back however missing the pole by inches before rushing forward and sending another high heeled kick in his direction. Ron blocked it with the pipe deflecting it at the last minute the heel inches from his chin. He pressed her back unleashing a flurry of swings and jabs that sent her back flipping out of reach.

Yet Ron would get no reprieve

The agent with the Karambit was back his knife flashing as he did his best to sink it into Ron's skin. Ron was suddenly on defense giving precious ground to the man as he attacked with the knife. They clashed together the blade locking against the metal pole as they both struggled against one another. Ron growled and pushed digging deep into his body as the knife got closer and closer…..

"No!" Ron growled his powers flaring up his eyes becoming bright blue. His powers pushed forward surging through his body. The chanting in his mind grew louder urging him on as he gave a hard push and sent the man flying back off the railing and down onto the ground below.

"Round two" Ron growled to the three other agents keeping the pole tight against his body.

The blonde woman moved first leaping at him and launching a powerful kick in his direction. He caught it at the last-minute with his free hand spinning her round and round before throwing her off the railing and into the wall on the other side of the room. The agent with the spiky brown hair was next sending a series of jabs and punches Ron's way that reminded Ron of a boxer. Even with his enhanced speed it was like he was moving slow to Ron. Ron battered his punches aside easily the pole blurring in his hand as he batted the man aside like a fly. He side stepped his pole swinging in a wide arch before it snapped forward. It caught the agent in the chin connecting with a sharp CRACK.

The agent flew up lining himself up perfectly for Ron. Ron sent him on his way using the pole like a baseball bat. He slammed it into his stomach sending the agent flying off the platform. Ron spun the pole again and then slammed it against the metal walkway his hands still glowing blue as he regarded the last agent a woman with short red hair.

"You sure you want to do this?" Ron asked raising an eyebrow.

The girl hesitated indecision crossing through her bright blue eyes. Ron took another step forward grinning as the women backed up in fear. The lust of battle and her fear were a heady mix to Ron and the chanting in his head picked up urging him on to end it.

End it he did

Ron jumped forward easily ducking under the girl's wild punch. His hand jabbed into her nerve paralyzing her arm and causing her to gasp. He kept moving grabbing her by her neck and lifting her off the ground she hung in the air for a second watching him with wide eyes as he grinned at her. Ron heaved forward throwing her directly at Archers feet with a hard-jarring hit. Ron wasted no time jumping down after her landing between Archer and the girl.

Archer said nothing instead regarding him. Ron watched a host of emotions play on the older man's face. Excitement, fear, and interest all playing across his eyes. Surprising enough Ron never saw anger from the man. Ron had taken down his soldiers and his agents yet if anything Archer seemed nothing but impressed with his performance.

"You continue to impress me Mr. Stoppable" Archer finally remarked smiling in pleasure "In another life in another world you would have made a perfect agent… a perfect Templar"

"I doubt there's a world where I would be okay with mass control" Ron said shaking his head "Especially not one where things like greed and rage leading to people being oppressed!"

"It wasn't supposed to be like that!" Archer said for the first-time real anger coming onto his face "I believe in the Templar mission control for the betterment of mankind, not control for oppression that's why I joined it was never supposed to be like this"

"Well it is like that Archer!" Ron shouted waving his hand "Your little Illuminati or whatever they call themselves are oppressing an entire country!"

Archer growled running his hands through his hair and shaking his head. He was angry, angry for the very first time in front of Ron. Ron backed away as he stepped forward an innate danger sounding in the back of his head regarding Archer.

"You don't think I know that?" He said glancing down at the agent on the floor "That's why I need Drakken! I'm trying to fix it!"

"Drakken?" Ron asked confused "How is Drakken going to help you fix the Templar order?"

"I won't go back!" A voice sounded cutting Archer off as he moved to answer.

Ron and Archer turned watching as Drakken tried to come down from the upper walkway. His body hung for a moment his legs flailing wildly as he tried to find some foot. The blue scientist finally fell landing with a splat amidst the rubble of the atrium. He quickly rose not bothering to dust himself off as he rushed forward now with a leather satchel on his back.

"I won't be your pawn again Archer!" Drakken growled pulling a remote out of his lab coat "I am no one's lackey! I refuse!"

He flicked the toggle switch causing the red button to light up in the center of the remote. Ron and Archer both shared a look a mixture of confusion and nervousness at the red glowing button.

"Uh Doctor D?" Ron said his voice nervous as stepped towards the doctor and reached for the remote.

"Maybe we should-"

Doctor Drakken slammed the button down.

The atrium shuddered loose dirt shaking and falling down from the broken girders above. The lair began to groan shuddering as multiple explosions began to detonate across the structure. The jet above them pitched forward dodging out of the way as a billow of smoke and flame shot out of the building and licked the jets underbelly.

"I connected the rest of the charges" Doctor Drakken shouted as the Atrium pitched forward and cracks began to appear on the ground "I would rather die here in flames then go back to you Archer!"

"Are you insane?!" Ron shouted watching as Archer gathered the female agent in his arms and motioned for the others to come "We are all still in here!"

"Well played doctor!" Archer called out as the other agents raced over to the rappel lines leading back up to the jet. He didn't bother to go towards Doctor Drakken instead making his way back to the center of the Atrium with his agents.

"Ronald our talk is not over!" Archer told Ron moving back over to the lines and tying the injured girl to the middle one "But you've impressed me today! Impressed me enough to send a gift your way! Next time you're in Africa you'll see what it is!"

The Atrium shook again forcing Ron to throw a hand out to steady himself. He ignored Archer instead focusing on the service hatch Kim was in. He needed to get her out of here her and Drakken, Archer would have to wait. He moved racing forward and dodging the cracks that were opening up all around him. He poured on the speed reaching the hatch in a matter of seconds just as the upper part of the Atrium exploded in a wall of flames.

Ron was just about to tear the door open when he heard the gunshot.

CRACK

He flinched expecting his body to explode in pain any second.

But it never came

"Farewell Doctor!" Archer called behind Ron his voice disappearing as he rose out of the Atrium "If I can't have you…."

"No one can"

The last words cut through reaching Ron even though his worry for Kim. Ron turned watching in slow motion as Doctor Drakken fell into a pile of rubble. His lab coat began to turn purple the red blood from the gunshot wound on his chest mixing with the blue fabric.

"NO!" Ron shouted just as another blast of flame came out of the south side of the Atrium. Ron moved ripping the service hatch off of its hinges and plucking Kim out of the hole. He threw her over his shoulder and willed himself to appear right next to Drakken. His powers flared and suddenly he was there crouching over the man as flames began to consume the Atrium. He felt his powers wane from teleporting but dug in mentally chanting with the monkeys as he begged them for more power.

"Come on Doctor Drakken!" Ron shouted reaching out to touch the doctor's hands "we need to go and get you medical help"

"Buffon" Doctor Drakken coughed his eyes fading as they locked with Ron's "I told you I would rather die than go back and be his lackey… his torture buddy this was always the plan I had only hoped to take the man with me"

"I promise you I won't let that happen" Ron growled tugging on the doctor's hand and trying to pull him up "Now come on!"

Ron heard Wade shouting something into his ear but he ignored it. The flames were getting closer now all but caressing the back of his legs as he tried to pull Drakken up.

"It's too late" Drakken said shaking his head and coughing up blood "Besides there is one final part of the plan to enact"

Drakken grunted and moved pushing hand behind his back and pulling out the brown satchel he retrieved from upstairs.

"Doctor Drakken I-"

"The U.N" Drakken said his hand disappearing inside of satchel "His target the U.N you can't stop him"

"But I know who can"

The black helmet came out the two-light bulb like appendages sparking with power. Before Ron could move Doctor Drakken slammed the helmet onto his head. The device whirred to life crackling with energy before letting out a large powerful blast that enveloped Drakken and Ron engulfing them in a brilliant white blast.

…..

KIM

Where was she?

Her body felt heavy as if it weighted ten times more than it had when she went to sleep. Her head pounded akin to a hangover Though she had never touched a single drop of Alcohol before. Every inch of her body was sore like she had been beat. It hurt to open her eyes but she did it anyways. She did it slowly at first wincing and fighting the urge to close her eyes back up from the harsh light. Slowly inch by inch she opened them revealing the contents of her surroundings.

She was in a small hospital type bed. Wires and IV's of all kinds were hooked up to her body and providing vitals to the small bank of computers next to her bedside. She moved to sit up but was cut short by a leather strap attached to the bed going around her waist.

"Hello Kimberly Ann Possible"

"Oh god" Kim breathed dread filling her body as the familiar voice reached her. She turned to look to her left hoping beyond hope that it was an after effect of the performance enhancers she was taking. Her body froze in fear refusing to believe the sight before her. The blue skinned man laughed at her panic leaning forward to reveal a familiar mop of blonde hair.

Ron

Zorpox

"Oh do not fret Kimmy" Zorpox taunted rising out of the chair he was in "Your in safe hands for now"

"I knew it!" Kim growled struggling against her bond "I knew Ron couldn't be in control! I knew he wouldn't have left me on his own accord!"

"Couldn't be in control?" Zorpox asked confused. He starred at her confusion slowly giving in to understanding. He began to laugh his eyes watering as he doubled over and shook his head.

"You think I been controlling Ronnie all this time?" Zorpox asked continuing to laugh and shake his head "Oh god you really are deluded! I mean I knew about this "I'm to good for anyone" but this? This is taking it to a whole new level"

He recovered wiping away the tears for a second as he continued to chuckle and shake his head.

"I hate to burst your precious bubble Kimberly" Zorpox remarked even though his grin said otherwise "But I just got control Drakken little jerry rigged modulator allowed me temporary control just long enough to get our boy here into the game! Well he isn't yours anymore is he?"

"Give him back!" Kim shouted straining against the strap. The action caused her body to explode with pain forcing her back against the bed as her headache flared up. She debated asking Ro- Zorpox if he had any of the powerful performance enhancers she brought with her even pleading for them! But the idea of his disapproving gaze kept Kim's mouth shut.

"You are in no positions to make demands Kimberly" Zorpox stated coming over and adjusting something on her IV line.

"Ron wants you taken care of" Zorpox explained as a flood of drugs flowed into her body not the ones she wanted but relaxing nonetheless

"Not sure you deserve it after what you did to him but…. We have an understanding. Whatever drug is in your system is still being fleshed out Ron refuses to believe it but you're going through relapse"

"No" Kim gasped her eyelids fluttering as a wave of exhaustion hit her body enhanced by the medicinal drug"I won't…. I will stop you"

"No you won't Kim" Zorpox said his voice surprisingly soft as he reached out and touched her hand.

"Instead you're going to give Ron's ladies a message your headed to their humble abode"

"Ron has given me temporary control of his body enough time for me to prepare for what's to come and talk to him. He asks the girls not to look for him for the time being and to stay safe he also asks they help you get back on your feet and help you flush out whatever drug you have been taking he also wants you to tell Shego he is sorry"

"Sorry that Draken died on his watch"

"What?!" Kim gasped struggling as the drugs tried to drag her into the black bliss of sleep "He died?"

"Yes" Zorpox said sighing "Ron's still…. Dealing with that but it's okay"

"We are going to make sure no one else dies"

Zorpox rose turning to go to the cockpit. He paused turning and regarding Kim one more time.

"Try to keep an open mind when you get there" Zorpox told her as her eyelids dropped "And whatever you do don't hurt the girls"

"Ron wont forgive you if you do"
