Alyson didn't sleep a wink while Snape on the other hand had dozed off ages ago. It had been hours since Draco had left the room and Alyson had been pacing back and forth for hours, she was surprised she hadn't made an indent into the floor yet. She had changed into a long flowing black nightgown with a nice sweetheart neckline and sheer cap sleeves. The sun was just starting to rise over the horizon and the sky was turning pink. Alyson felt her heart fluttering out of her chest as she once again paced back over the floor.

After drinking the potion everything had gone back to normal except her nails. Her nails were now black and shortened to a point. It looked as if she had tiny black claws on her hands. She shook her head as she looked down at them and started pulling on the stings of her nightgown. She sighed heavily as she tried to sit down in a chair and calm down but she couldn't bring herself to do that.

Finally about an hour later Alyson couldn't take anymore she flung up from the chair and left the room. She headed towards Narcissa's room who she knew would be up because she rarely slept herself. She knocked on the door softly not being surprised at all as the door swung open almost immediately.

"Anything?" Alyson asked as she twisted her fingers together digging her nails into her hand.

"No." Narcissa said shaking her head with sad eyes.

"I can't wait any longer. He's not going to get away with this anymore." Alyson hissed as a low growl erupted from the back of her throat as she turned to leave and head towards the library.

"Alyson Stop! He'll kill you!" Narcissa shouted at her as she grabbed a hold of her arm and tried to pull her back.

"I don't care, Let him kill me! Draco is the only thing keeping me here otherwise I'd take them all on and happily die doing so!" Alyson screamed at her as the windows in the room suddenly shattered into pieces and a gust of wind burst through the hallway.

"Alyson listen to me you need to calm down." Narcissa pleaded with her as Alyson's hands began to shake.

Alyson knew without a doubt her eyes were glowing red with hatred as she glared at Narcissa and then spun on her heel towards the other end of the mansion.

"Alyson what are you doing?!" shouted another voice as Snape emerged from her room and tried to grab a hold of her but Alyson just waved her hand and sent him flying.

"Alyson stop!" he shouted at her but she didn't care.

She marched through the house leaving a path of destruction along the way. Everything that was fragile around her was exploding into pieces and the house had begun to shake from the foundation.

"Alyson if you don't stop this you're going to bring the entire house down!" Snape shouted as he and Narcissa threw spells at her to try and stop her.

Other death eaters had also joined with them as spells bounced around the walls and floors but never hit Alyson. It was if an invisible force shield was up around her and every time they tried to hit somewhere near her it would just make her angrier.

The candles in the hallways burst into flames as she rounded the corner and arrived at the library doors.

"Alyson PLEASE!" shouted Narcissa again as she gave her a grave look.

"This has to stop." Alyson said with a dark possessive sounding voice.

"Alyson it won't help, it'll only make things worse." Snape cried out to her.

"Worse? You think it gets worse than this? I've lost everything. I have no purpose, nothing to live for and you're telling me it'll get worse. I'm nothing, just a weapon to use against the other side and when you win what will you do with me? More than half of you in this room hate me and would love nothing more than to see me die, so why don't I do you a favor and make it sooner rather than later hmm?" Alyson growled at them as her voice rose up over the sounds of the wind and echoed loudly around the house.

No one in the room said a word they just starred at her with wide eyes as the walls around them started to crack. Alyson sent them a dark evil rooted smile as she threw her arms up into air as the wind forced the doors to the library open with such a force that it ripped both the doors off the wall.

"What is the meaning of this!" shouted the dark lord as he and Lucius attempted to stand up after being knocked down by the impact of the wind busting the doors down, but were obviously very startled. Alyson glanced around and noticed Draco was on the floor breathing heavily but there was blood everywhere.

The Dark lord reached for his wand but Alyson just simply waved her hand and his wand flew far from him and into her hand.

"I think you and I need to have a talk. Do you mind Lucius?" She growled at him as without warning Lucius went flying up into the air and got tossed out of the room.

Alyson smiled as she muttered a spell as the doors slammed back into their place on the wall which left the house rattling from the foundation.

"Now as long as you're going to pretend you can still control me let's set a few things straight." Alyson snapped as she waltzed over and came face to face with the dark lord.

"First of all I don't like how you treat people around here. It's not their fault you have no bloody idea what you are doing when it comes to catching and killing that boy. You couldn't do it when he was baby why in heaven's name would you be able to do it now. Face it, you're a complete failure when it comes to that, that's why you brought me into all of this. You trained me from a child to be you're right hand man, knowing that I was more powerful than you would EVER dream of being. That's why you secluded me and wouldn't let anyone near me. You planned on marrying me and keeping me to yourself so you could use me to get what you wanted. You made me believe that no one in the world was worth my time of the day and that love was a weakness. Well my lord than you are weak yourself because you are jealous of Draco and don't deny it. You can't stand that I care more about him than I do you, so you think that by hurting him you can get back at me. But you forget I can take you out so easily, you did after all reveal your every secret to me." Alyson hissed at him as she neared him and whispered the last few words in his ear then pulled back with a slight smirk.

"Touch him again and I'll burn this house to the ground, and I'll take you with me." She growled loudly.

Alyson stood inches away from the Dark lord as the candles on the wall leapt into flames sending hot wax flying everywhere as the wallpaper and some of the drapes caught on fire. The Dark Lord backed away from Alyson knowing that every word she had said was true. He said nothing to her, he just starred at her with dark eyes as she turned away from him and looked around the room.

Draco was lying in a pool of blood in the middle of the floor and looked nearly dead. Alyson rushed to his side throwing herself down on the ground next to him.

"Draco, Draco can you hear me?" she called softly to him as she lifted him off the ground pulled him into her chest.

"You're crazy you know that." He smirked at her slightly as he started to choke.

"If you only knew, now let's get you out of here." Alyson whispered to him as she tried to get him to his feet but he fell over.

Alyson tried to hold him up by herself but couldn't. Voldemort stood there glaring daggers into the back of her head as he made no attempt to help her. The door to the library burst open as Snape, Lucius and a few other death eaters rushed in.

"Snape help her move the boy." The Dark Lord said coolly as he tried to play off all that had just happened.

"Is everything alright my lord?" asked Lucius as he bowed his head and backed away quickly.

"Of course it is, Alyson and I just need to have a little discussion is all. Though if someone could repair all the damage her Veela temper has caused I would appreciate it." The Dark Lord smiled darkly as his eyes went to Alyson's who met his gaze with a death glare.

"Yes my lord, right away." Lucius muttered as he waved his wand and the fires that had taken over most of the top half of the room went out.

Snape helped bring Draco to his feet as Narcissa rushed into the room and gave Alyson a look of relief as she saw that she was fine. She followed behind Snape and Alyson quickly as they dragged Draco back to Alyson and Draco's room. Snape and Alyson got Draco up on the bed as quickly as they could while Snape did as much as he could to heal up the wounds that Voldemort and Draco's father had caused.

Alyson bit her lip as she saw the deep gash that had been made into his side with a blade forged in dark magic.

"I don't have anything to help with that." Snape muttered to Alyson softly as he pulled her away from Draco so he wouldn't hear them.

"What is it?" Alyson asked as she looked from Snape back to Draco with worried eyes.

"A poisoned blade, the herb required to heal the wound I don't currently have in my possession." Snape whispered hoarsely to her.

"So what are you saying then, he suffers until you can sneak out to get it?" Alyson asked with sharp tone to her voice.

"Alyson you know he won't let me leave. He did it on purpose to keep you here and under his control." Snape hissed at her.

"Then I'll go find someone who can." Alyson nodded with a determination set in her head.

"You know he'll hurt anyone who does try to help you." Snape growled at her.

"And you know I can kill him. He knows it to yet he just keeps poking the bear." Alyson snapped at Snape with a low growl.

"You cannot stop him Alyson, he is going to get what he wants at any cost." Snape confessed to her as he grabbed onto both of her arms to try and talk some sense into her.

"Like I told Narcissa, let him kill me. It'll be his loss." She smiled brightly as she pushed him aside and returned to Draco's bedside.

He let out a sharp sigh of pain as Alyson sat down softly on the side of his bed. Narcissa sat on the other side of his bed and refused to leave him alone again which Alyson was glad for but Alyson knew that if she got into the way of the Dark Lord he would take Narcissa out no problem.

"Narcissa I'm going to sneak off for a few hours do you think you can keep things here under control?" she asked as she took Draco's hand in hers and turned her attention to Narcissa.

Draco tried to pull himself up as he squeezed onto Alyson with both of his arms.

"No Alyson you cannot keep defying him, he'll kill you." Draco pleaded with her as he clung to her tightly.

"I don't care what he does to me, it's you I'm worried about." Alyson said to him as she put her hand on the side of his face.

"I know you don't that's the problem." Draco breathed.

"I'll be fine. You stay here and try to rest. I'll be back before you know it." Alyson reassured him as she turned to leave.

"Alyson please, stay. For me." He begged as his voice cracked.

Alyson felt her heart flip as a sad face crossed his face.

"Alright fine but you cannot expect to sit here and do nothing about that. It's only going to get worse." Alyson sighed as she motioned to the gash in his side that Snape had tried to heal up to the best of his abilities but the skin around the wound was already turning a dark shade of purple as were the veins closest to the wound.

"Stay. Promise me you'll stay here." He said to her hoarsely as he grabbed onto her arm.

Alyson nodded as she slowly climbed into the bed next to him and laid her head on his chest. He seemed to calm down almost instantly. His breathing slowed and he fell asleep not long after but he made sure to wrap his arm tightly around Alyson to try and keep her in place. Narcissa had also fallen asleep sitting up in the chair clutching tightly onto Draco's other hand as Snape sat on the couch starring into the fire.

Alyson slowly freed herself from Draco's grip as she got up quietly and grabbed her wand off the nightstand. She flicked it and her outfit changed. She was in a pair of black pants, a black tank top and a black jacket. Her bare feet were now in a pair of flat boots and she pulled her hair up in a high pony tail.

"I knew you wouldn't be able to wait long." Snape whispered to her from the couch.

"If he asks, tell him I had to and that I'm sorry." Alyson said as she leaned down and kissed the top of Draco's head before heading to the door.

"Where are you going to find a cure at Alyson? You don't even know the name of the herb I need." he asked her softly.

"Oh I know where the source of that knife came from just as I know that source has a cure. That's why they did it. I'll be back as soon as I can, though you may want to be ready I will most likely have some wounds from this one because this source is not as forgiving as the dark lord is of my defiance. They never have been and I have a feeling it's going to get very nasty because this time it's personal." Alyson confessed to him with a soft smile as she nodded at him and then crept out of the room as quickly as she could.
