Hi... (slowly emerging from the covers), how was the previous chapter?
I hope it was fine. Let us get on with the love story.
Thank you for your time. I really appreciate it.
The personality of the characters will differ from the anime/manga so please don't compare them from the original. They are normal people in love in my FFN world - in other words, they will be OOC every now and then.
A/N : My Disclaimer : I own nothing but the plot. The characters belong to Masashi Kishimoto. UnBeta-ed... This was made purely for enjoyment purposes.
If you don't know who Naruto Uzumaki, Itachi Uchiha and Sasuke Uchiha is, don't read. If Yaoi disturbs you, don't read either. Slight SasuNaru at first, but this is purely SasuIta and not the other way around.

Chapter 29
Itachi stared at the ceiling.
Though his mind was blank, his heart was finally beating at a stable pace... he was fully sated and content. He turned his head sideways and was surprised to see Sasuke looking at him. He was sporting a tired smile, but his eyes glowed. He looked extremely handsome right now.
"Hey..." Sasuke said as his smile grew even wider. He turned and was now lying on his side facing Itachi. He reached his hand up and caressed Itachi's cheek. Itachi smiled as he closed his eyes, feeling the warmth of Sasuke's hand.
"You okay?" he asked.
"Hmmm..." the long-haired raven nodded.
"I'm glad to know that..." Sasuke said as he moved closed and embraced Itachi. Itachi snuggled closer to Sasuke, his nose rested on Sasuke's chest. He felt his lover kiss the top of his head.
It was a wonderful feeling. He could really get used to this.
They continued to bask in the afterglow of their lovemaking. Itachi never felt this contented. He was reborn He felt new and alive all over.
"You know what?" Sasuke asked. Itachi tilted his head to look at him.
"What?" he asked.
"I don't want to go to Paris anymore..." Sasuke grinned as he hugged Itachi tighter.
Itachi chuckled. They were now at a different level in their unique relationship - deeper... and more precious...
"Don't be silly, you need to go there to check on your business... you told me so..." he teased his lover as he poked Sasuke's forehead which made the man laugh softly.
Itachi rolled and went on top of Sasuke. His loose hair curtained their faces and he looked into his lover's eyes. He planted a chaste kiss on his lips.
"Go before I change my mind." he grinned wickedly. Sasuke felt Itachi intentionally grind his thighs to his shaft. He seemed to appreciate the fact that Sasuke was instantly affected by that touch.
"Hmmm... up and alert again?" he chuckled. Sasuke kissed his jaw, raising the goosebumps all over his skin.
"Stop teasing me, Tachi-kun..." he whispered.
"I love you Sasuke..." he said. He loved saying that phrase. It felt so right on his lips.
"Not as much as I love you..." Sasuke responded.
They kissed some more before Itachi rolled over to lay beside Sasuke. The night was still young, it was barely eight in the evening.
"Do you still have energy to go out with me?" Itachi asked. Sasuke laughed at the enthusiasm being displayed by his boyfriend.
"Where do you plan to go?" Sasuke asked. He made meatloaf earlier and was sure it would still be edible tomorrow if they didn't consume it. Itachi seemed to be in a celebratory mood tonight.
"I just remembered that I have VIP tickets for a musical that will expire tonight. Are you up to it?" he asked as he looked at the wall clock at the corner.
Sasuke was surprised that Itachi still offered a night out. Maybe he just worried to much about Itachi earlier. But it seems like his beloved wasn't in pain, which made him feel glad and relieved.
"If you are up to it, then I am." he said.
"Good. Let us go then." he stated.
Itachi stood up and wobbled. His knees were weak. As he made a few more steps, he can feel the sting from behind.
"Is everything all right?" Sasuke worried over his lover. Sasuke might not have first hand experience about the pain. But he can imagine the pain.
They took turns taking a shower. They decided on that because they might not end up leaving the house if they showered together.
They were soon dressed in record time. The musical was to start at 9:00 in the evening. They took Sasuke's car and arrived at the venue with five minutes to spare.
They were directed to their seats. Sasuke saw Itachi's handsome face cringe as they sat down.
"Are you all right?" he asked. Itachi gave him an assuring nod. He adjusted his seated position until he found an angle that was bearable.
"Tachi... I am sorry..." he whispered. Itachi smiled and squeezed Sasuke's hand.
"Don't be... I needed to get out of the house..." he said.
"Why?" Sasuke asked, worried that he might have done something that caused his lover to feel that way.
Itachi leaned closer to Sasuke, his lips touching the base of his lover's ear, "If we stay there, I might ask you to love me all over again... and if that happens, I might not be able to see you off to the airport tomorrow..." he said and kissed Sasuke's lobe.
Sasuke blushed at Itachi's confession. He understood what Itachi was telling him. He actually felt good knowing that.
The lights were mellowed, a signal that the show was about to begin. It was a local musical sponsored yearly by one of the prestigious schools in Tokyo. Itachi was given the tickets by one of his clients as a gift.
The musical was an original story and the performers where the students. Itachi secretly loved the theater arts. It was something Naruto could never understand from him. Of course the blond knew about this hidden passion and always teased Itachi about it.
"You know, I really like musicals..." Itachi stated. Sasuke smiled. Despite the serious aura his boyfriend usually sported, there was a streak of sunshine in him. Itachi was full of surprises. You can never tell what he has on his mind.
"Well, we must go to some of the opera houses in Paris then. I am sure you would enjoy it there." he said. Itachi gave a pleased nod.
They waited for the show to begin. Itachi took Sasuke's hand and held on to it. Sasuke smiled as he felt Itachi rest this head on his arm.
The show started. Itachi was alert and all smiles. He leaned to Sasuke every now and then to whisper something or another. They cheered, clapped and hollered when the crowd grew wild. It wasn't a too formal show after all, so the noise from the crowd was allowed and appreciated.
Not far behind, Madara Uchiha was seated with a woman clad in pink satin. He was invited to the show. He looked around the place and saw that it was packed. From the performer's family up to the local celebrities.
The dim lights of the theater didn't hinder him from recognizing his nephew. Madara was sure that it was Itachi. He can identify Itachi anywhere. The boy was practically his own.
He was seated a few rows up front. He looked different... though in a good way. His face was glowing. It was as if he was a changed man all of a sudden. He rarely saw his nephew smile that way. But tonight was really different... Itachi was just all smiles.
He did noticed that Itachi acted different lately. Ever since he asked the boy to take a few days off work, Itachi became a different man.
"Are you alright Madara?" his companion asked him and he gave a slight nod.
His eyes were still transfixed on Itachi. He was not alone. He was busy talking to a man, whose hair were spiked up in a certain fashion that only he can obviously carry.
And they seemed close and judging by the way Itachi's eyes danced. He didn't need rocket science to understand the mutual feelings shared by the men.
Madara was good with reading body language. It was a talent he had since he was a boy. He never actually expected this from Itachi. But things do change. His nephew's sexual preference was quiet a surprise to him.
His eyes never strayed away from the couple. He wanted to take a good look at Itachi's date!
The show went on and Madara's mind was nowhere near the performance. He studied Itachi and his date. Their movements and their special touches. They were obviously in love.
As the musical ended, Madara rose from his seat. He had to see the man Itachi was with. He couldn't explain the sudden urge, but something inside him demanded him to go. His heart thudded wildly against his chest.
"I will be right back. Meet me at the lobby." he told his companion and quickly left his chair without waiting for a response.
With quick strides, he reached the exit before Itachi did. He was glad that Itachi didn't notice him. He took his place behind one of the pillars and waited for the couple to pass.
He held his breath as they passed. He had to blink twice as he looked at the attractive man with spiky hair. Jet black eyes with midnight blue locks framing the exquisite face. A face so familiar - too familiar for his memory to forget.
It can't be! How can that man look like the male version of Mikoto Uchiha? He closed his eyes as the memories of Fugaku's beautiful wife filled his mind.
Mikoto... his beloved, Mikoto. How he loved his brother's wife and no one knew this fact.
He met Mikoto first since he was the first born. Her family and his family were in a mutual agreement to let their children marry to strengthen the bond and the family business.
But Madara was always on the go and dropped out of college to pursue his dreams of travelling the world. Thus, she ended being married to his younger brother.
He wished he was not as carefree as he was before and maybe he had a happy ending with her. Maybe, she didn't have to die.
The man with Itachi was so like Mikoto in all aspects. From his dark eyes to his flawless skin. If Mikoto were male, then that man was her.
But how was this possible? His mind started to make assumptions - conclusions that were very out of this world. But never impossible as well.
Was it possible to have so many identical features over someone not related by blood? He wondered as he silently watched them leave the theater. He had to do some research later.
Madara had to temporarily let go of the thoughts in him. He still had an affair to attend to tonight. He slowly retreated back towards his date. He can think things over later once he was home and alone with the memories of his past.
~tbc~
The past can indeed haunt you forever.
But the haunting is not always bad, sometimes it's what keeps you going...
Stay tuned.
Thank you for all the alerts and I do hope to get more reviews so that I will know what I am doing wrong.
See ya!
