A/N: Alright, you guys have waiting long enough. Okay, I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to do with this chapter, but thanks to a close friend she helped me figure it out. So, without any more delay please enjoy!

Derek sat at his father's desk rubbing his hand against his chin, frustration building up in his chest. He shoved the desk out of his way, the legs scraping against the wooden floor, and the chair toppling over as he stood up and paced the room now. Young Do was standing in front of him, but bowed his head disappointed in this situation as well, and awaited Derek's orders. He had agreed to aide Derek in picking up his father's work, but he didn't think it would be this hard.

"How did Cortez get access to our shipment? Who was watching him?" Derek demanded. Young Do lifted his head, and looked Derek straight in the eye as he placed his hands behind his back.

"Cortez's men seemed to have help from the inside." Young Do reported sadly.

"What?" Derek shouted, stopping in the middle of the room. "How do we have a mole?" he asked. Young Do opened his mouth to answer but Derek growled and started pacing again. "Find out who it is! Bring them to me immediately! Do these men think of me lightly? Have they no honor!" Derek shouted at Young Do.

"Sir," Young Do simply said in attempt to calm Derek.

"Ppalli. Ga." Derek sighed, dismissing Young Do quickly. Young Do stood there for a second trying to come up with a way to simmer down Derek's growing temper, but knew his only right was to follow his order. With a bow Young Do walked out of the office.

As soon as he was gone Derek let out a stressed sigh, roughly running both hands through his hair. What was he to do? He has a traitor right under his nose, and he has no idea on who it could be. On top of that, he has to come up with plans to recover the lost shipment, and figure out a way to deal and get rid of Adolfo Cortez. How does his father make this look so easy?

A knock came to the door and Simon stepped in. Derek looked at his young brother, noticing the grim expression on his face. Derek licked his lips, swallowing his anger and nodding at Simon. He couldn't stress Simon about the situation today, at least not today. Today was Simon's day, and slightly his own too.

"I'll be in the car." Simon said quietly, bowing before leaving the room and shutting the door.

Derek blew out a long breath and walked back behind the desk scooting it back in place and picking up the chair. Running his hand through his hair once more, he grabbed his blazer off the coat rack and left the office, heading upstairs to get Chloe.

He pulled out the key from his pocket to unlock her door, and he hesitated, standing in front of her door. It's been an entire week since he's locked her in and an entire week since he's seen her. The only that was allowed access to Chloe was Helen to bring her meals and her medication. This would be their first encounter since that night.

He took a deep breath bracing himself for whatever lay behind the door. He unlocked the door opening it slowly, and entering cautiously. When he got a look at the room, he found it clean and kept just as he remembered; even her bed was maid neatly. He stepped further in looking for her, only to find her sitting in front of her vanity, staring into her reflection.

He walked up behind her stopping only a foot behind her, staring at her eyes through the mirrored reflection. She was dressed in a simple black dress, a thin black choker around her neck, and her hair curled and pinned back in a waterfall braid, no doubt Helen helped.

"Chloe?" Derek called out. Chloe blinked once her gaze slowly rising to meet Derek's.

"Hi." She answered her expression blank.

"Hi." Derek replied. "Ready to go?" he asked. Chloe looked back at her own reflection for a few moments, and then gently stood up, making her way to Derek's side.

Derek held out his hand for her, and she looked down at it before taking his hand slowly. Derek wrapped her arm within his and walked her out of the room, down the stairs, and out to the car where Simon waited.

The drive over to the cemetery was quite, all of them with a full head of thoughts. Derek parked the car on the side, Simon being the first to get out, carrying the bouquet of pink carnations and daisies. Derek got out, and opened Chloe's door holding out his hand to help her out.

The three of them walked a few yards to a nice spot under a tree, where a large block tombstone stuck out. As they stopped in front of that grave, tears already started to pool up in Simon's eyes, and Derek placed a comforting hand on his brother's shoulder. After a few sniffles Simon finally stepped forward and placed the flowers next to her grave.

Sophia Rosberg
1975-2004
A Loving Free Spirit

"How did she die?" Chloe asked out of the blue, staring at the tombstone. Derek looked down at her surprised to hear her finally say something.

"Suicide." Simon answered bluntly, Derek now looking at him. "When we went to South Korea with the Dragonhead, our mother hung herself." Simon explained his expression now stone cold.

"I can understand why she did it." Chloe sighed, both boys looking at her a bit surprised. "Imagine the pain she must have felt. Losing her children to the world of envy and power so early; having to worry about their safety, and wondering if they would live another day. Watching the man you love, smiling and adoring another woman. She was practically dead already. " Chloe shook her head, not aware of the deep cut her words left on the brothers.

"Chloe," Derek called out a bit worried. Her words spooked him a bit, and not because he agreed to what she had said. Her words sounded as if she herself was experiencing this.

"Don't go following in her footsteps, Chloe." Simon suddenly interjected turning to look at his mother's grave again. "I will never forgive you if you do." He added, only receiving a side glance from Chloe.

When they got home Derek didn't lock Chloe up in her room as he planned. He had left the door unlocked, but to his surprise she hadn't taken one step out of her room. He had figured that Chloe would at least peak outside her door, but she hadn't left her room since getting back. Actually, he couldn't hear anything coming from her room.

The words she said at the gravesite echoed through his mind. Now that he thought about it, Chloe was forced into this family just as Sophia had. Was Chloe actually feeling the same fear and anxiety Sophia did? That thought sent a sinking feeling in his chest. He sat up closing the book he was reading and listened closely for any noise from Chloe. Absolutely nothing.

Growing worried, Derek got up and walked over to her door. He knocked calling out for her, but there was only silence on the other side.

"Chloe." Derek called opening the door. He looked inside to see try and figure out what she was up to, but she was only sat in front of her vanity again dressed in her pajama pants and a light blue camisole.

He stepped in to ask her what she was doing, but he stopped next to her bed in shock. She was talking to herself, or rather her reflection. He watched her, a complete expressionless look on her face, but she kept talking.

"I didn't do it. It happened. Accident. I didn't do it. Not my fault." She kept repeating herself, which confused Derek. What was she going on about?

He took one step towards her, when Chloe reached up and grabbed a small metal box that sat on top of her vanity.

"I didn't do it!" she shouted as she smashed the box against the mirror, the glass shattering loudly in front of her. Derek's eyes went wide at the site and he was too shocked to move.

"It didn't do it! I didn't do it!" Chloe kept screaming as she smashed the box again and again on the already broken pieces.

Derek shook himself out of his shocked state and ran over to Chloe, grabbing her wrist to stop her from smashing up more glass.

"Chloe, stop!" He ordered, but she kept resisting, and when she couldn't use the box, she used her other hand, balling it into fists and continued to smash the mirror into bits.

"Chloe!" Derek shouted wrapping his arm around her waist and picking her up and away from the vanity. This caused Chloe to scream for bloody murder, her face turning red, both of her hands dripping with blood.

"What the hell is going on?" Simon asked from the door, Tori at his side.

"Stop!" Chloe screamed and began to beat on Derek, who was trying to restrain her hands.

"Get me the first aid kit." He ordered, and Simon turned and quickly ran to get it while Tori stood there and watched a bit freaked out.

"Calm down!" Derek shouted at Chloe, but she just kept screaming trying to pull away from him.

Tori then strutted up to the both of them, and she grabbed Derek's wrist pulling him out of the way. He looked curiously at his sister, and watched as she let him go only to raise her hand and bitch slap Chloe across the face.

Chloe's head snapped to the side, her hair covering up her profile so they couldn't see her reaction, and her screaming stopped. The two of them stood there waiting to see what Chloe would do. Slowly, Chloe raised her head and turned to look at Tori, a stone cold look on her face, and a trail of tears flowed down each cheek.

"I didn't. Do it." She said once more in a low demanding voice. Tori narrowed her eyes confused at the statement.

Just then Chloe's eyes rolled to the back of her head and her body went limp. Tori gasped backing up as Derek caught her with a grunt. Being mindful of her still bleeding hands, he placed her on her bed and checked her pulse.

"She just fainted, she's fine." He assured, and Tori sighed in relief. At that moment Simon ran into the room first aid kit in hand.

"What happened?" he asked handing the kit to Derek.

"She fainted." Tori informed Simon as she helped Derek bandage up Chloe.

"What happened to her?" Simon sighed sitting at the edge of the bed.

"I'm not sure. I came in to check on her, and she was sitting in front of her mirror, staring at herself and talking to herself." Derek explained cleaning up the blood on Chloe's hand.

"What was she going on about not doing it?" Tori then asked.

"I don't know!" Derek barked, glaring up at Tori who looked down at him with a raised brow.

"Don't get mad at me, you're the one who decided to lock her away from the world for a week." Tori snapped back. Derek sighed not saying anything knowing she was right and just continued to bandage up Chloe.

"Pardon me, sir." A soft voice came from the door. They all looked over at Helen who was peering into the room with Chloe's dinner. Derek had forgotten to tell Helen that Chloe was no longer being kept up in her room.

"Come in, Helen." Derek nodded, and the maid walked in setting the tray on the desk near the bed. She noticed the shattered mirror but she didn't ask about it.

"May I be of assistance, Young Master Derek?" she offered.

"No, I should be," Derek looked up at her but caught site of Chloe's dinner. It was just a biscuit and some soup.

"Where is Chloe's medication?" he asked. Helen bowed her head in an apology.

"I had to fix them into her dinner, sir. She was refusing to take them." She explained.

"Wait, medication?" Simon asked turning to his brother bewildered. Derek looked from Helen to Simon and nodded sadly.

"Chloe has parasomnia, she takes medication to help with her nightmares." he said finishing up the first hand.

"If she has parasomnia why is she refusing medication?" Tori then asked. Derek shook his head, cleaning up the second hand.

"Didn't you ask her why she didn't want to take the pills?" Tori continued.

"Yes, but she refused to answer." Derek growled, now bandaging up Chloe's second hand.

"So you forced her to take them anyway?" Tori asked baffled. Derek glared up at her tired of her interrogating questions and accusing tone.

In return she rolled her eyes and sighed turning back to Helen.

"Show me the pills you were giving Chloe." She ordered. Helen nodded turning to leave the room, Tori leaving with her.

Simon then stood walking over to the shattered pieces of the mirror; he squatted to get a better look. He tsked shaking his head and then stood back up. He placed his hands on his hips trying to figure out why Chloe had gone loco.

"I thought she was acting a bit strange at the cemetery." Simon commented, and Derek looked up just as he finished bandaging her up.

"I figured that too." He admitted.

"You don't think she's…" Simon left that sentence hang, not wanting to even mention it. Derek stared at him thinking about it.

"No, she's strong enough to get through this." Derek said, receiving a strange look from Simon.

"That's the same thing Dad said about Mom." He commented.

Derek said nothing after that, not wanting to go there with Simon especially today. Clearing his throat, Derek walked over to Simon, only grabbing a towel and stooping down to clean up the mess. Simon watched for a few seconds before joining and helping to clean up.

A few minutes later they were about done when Tori stormed back into the room. She threw the bottle of pills at Derek, having them bounce off the side of his head with a loud thud. Derek grunted and looked up annoyed with Tori, only to be taken aback at the red pissed off expression on her face.

"You're a fucking idiot!" she shouted at him, taking both the boys by surprise. She hadn't sworn at them in forever.

"Did you even look up those pills before forcing Chloe to take them?" She asked. Derek slowly shook his head.

"They were prescribed by her doctor, I didn't think,"

"They were experimental pills, Derek." Tori cut him off. "You could have killed her." She added, making both of the boy's hearts stop for a second. "One of the side effects was hallucination, for all we know she could be living her nightmares while she's awake. That's probably why she attacked herself." Tori explained.

"I didn't know." Derek answered, not able to say anything else. He looked over at Chloe who still lay in her bed.

Tori stared at Derek so mad and angry at him she didn't know what else to do. She wanted to hit him, punch him, swear or do something, but she knew she couldn't. She didn't even know why she was so upset about this whole thing. Not knowing what else to do with herself she huffed and turned out of the room.

Simon stood there staring at Derek practically seeing the wheels start to churn in his mind. Simon knew this was dangerous. He couldn't have Derek start back peddling now. He laid a hand on Derek's shoulder brining him out of his thoughts.

"You at least saved her tonight. Who knows what she would have done to herself if you weren't here." He said. Derek looked at Simon so disappointed with himself, but that reassuring smile his brother had made him trusts his words.

"Stay with her tonight, make sure nothing bad happens." Simon suggested. Derek nodded agreeing with his statement. "I'll take care of the mirror, and order her a new one. Just worry about her for now." He patted Derek's back in reassurance and turned taking out the shards of glass with him.

Derek looked back at the sleeping Chloe; she looked so peaceful in her sleep. To think he almost killed her, Derek's heart squeezed inside his chest and he suddenly felt like punching himself in the face. He blew out a long breath walking over to Chloe's bed side. He can't think of that now, he had to make sure no more harm came to her. He promised to protect her, and that's what he was going to do.
