A/N: This chapter will kinda be a songfic-ish. The bold italics are lyrics from a song Teddy wrote.

Theodore Olson opened his eyes, seeing the same old white ceiling in his dark green room. Looking out the window, he saw that the sun hadn't risen yet. Shrugging, he got out of bed figuring he wouldn't be able to get back to sleep. He checked his calendar and saw the date: 2/13/15. Valentine's Day was coming.

Sighing a burdened sigh, the boy walked over to his bed and reached his arm under it. Weeks ago, when he had developed photos during the break, he had stuffed a box of photos under his bed. The box was a deep velvet and had a beautiful golden lock on it. He opened the lid and pulled out about 20 photos. They were all of a certain blonde-haired boy and himself goofing around. The backdrops included, beaches, boardwalks, amusement parks, and much more. A few of those photos included all their friends.

"Benji..." Shaking his head back to reality, he quickly stowed the box under his bed.

I'm here again... a thousand miles away from you.

"I'm not peaking!" Clara laughed as she was led through a dark place. Well, not really dark; her eyes were covered.

"Ok, ok. Just keep them closed!" Daniel laughed as he obscured Clara's vision. He walked in front her of, making sure she kept her eyes, shut and snapped his fingers. "Open."
When she did, Clara gasped. Daniel had led her to a garden of sorts on a rooftop. There were white garden fences covered in yellow lilies. Above them, glowing bright silver, was "Valentine?" The nanobot-made letters contrasted with the creamy, sunrise sky.

"Clara..." Daniel began taking the girl's hands. "Will you go to the Valentine's Day dance with me?"

"Yes!" Clara half shouted in joy. "I'd love to!" With that, she threw arms around Daniel, pulling him into a tight hug. "Thanks for asking!"

"Well you know... I had to." Daniel laughed as he and Clara met halfway for a tender kiss.

~Cue Theme~

The hallways of Skybrooke High School buzzed with activity. It was Friday, and Valentine's Day, as well as its Dance, was Saturday. At that point, everyone was scrambling with excitement trying to make sure that their nights would be splendid.

Besides Prom, the Valentine's Day Dance was the biggest dance of the year.

"We're in!" Lola cheered as she ran up to Charlie and Teddy.

"In what?" Charlie asked.

"Hello? The Dance! I asked Vice Principal Vasquez and she finally cleared us!"

"Alright!" Charlie exclaimed giving Lola a high five. "What's the status on Gracie and Becca?"

"They haven't answered yet... It's slim at this point. Teddy, think you can talk to them? They're your friends right?"

Teddy, during the conversation, was staring off into space until Lola's voice reeled him in. "What?"

"I asked if you could talk to Becca and Gracie about joining us."

"Yeah... um... sure. I can do that."

"Great!"

As Lola droned on to Charlie about the songs they would be doing, Teddy felt a feeling of dread wash over him. To be honest, he didn't know where he stood with his Ranger Team. The prying eyes of the "popular" crowd forced him into blowing them off. He ignored the people he put his life on the line for just to make his other team and Tori happy. Speaking of Tori, she passed him by and gave him the, "we need to talk" look. Teddy excused himself and followed after.

"So, Lola. I hear James asked you to the Dance!" Charlie teased.

A broken mess, just scattered pieces of who I am...

"It was so sweet!" Becca gushed to Gracie and Clara in the Library. "Look!" The girl pulled a giant origami rose head out of her bag. It was beautifully designed with pink and red. "Who knew Oliver could be so sweet?"

Clara laughed, "He can when he wants to be."

"This is going on my wall at home." Becca beamed. "So, Gracie. How about you?"

"Actually, TK asked me."

"Really?" Clara asked. "How?"

"He hung a banner above my locker. It's still there I think." Gracie replied blushing.

"That's so cute!" Becca giggled.

"I guess boys are full of surprises aren't they?" Gracie mused. "Now we all have dates. We're all still going as a group, yeah?"

Clara and Becca went silent then. Their eyes failed to meet Gracie's, which prompted her to pry a bit more. "Did I say something?"

Clara worriedly raised her eyes and said, "Ben."

"Guys, I don't need a date. Really." Ben tried to convince the guys.

Oliver jumped in front of his best friend and reasoned, "Well, duh! Still not gonna stop us from getting you one!"

James put his arm around Ben's shoulder and said, "Yeah, even TK got one."

"What do you mean by, 'even?'" TK asked with a joking glare on his face.

"You know what I mean."

Daniel explained, "We just don't want you to be... you know... alone."

"I'm fine." Ben stated as he opened up his locker. "And if it's about Teddy, just let it go. I'm over him. I'm not going to the dance anyway."

"If you say so..." Oliver trailed off. "You should still talk to him."

Ben looked down in self reflection and stayed deep in thought. He stared down the hall from where he stood and remembered the day the full team came together. He remembered the flustered, yet excited rush he got when he saw Teddy down that very hall. "You're right..."

"What'd you want to talk about?" Teddy asked as he sat down. Tori had led him to the Football field outside.

"Teddy... I have a confession." Tori looked at the boy with genuine eyes that were etched with kindness.

"What is it?"

"Well... over the past few weeks, I noticed how weird you were. I mean, I know you better than anyone else... or I thought I did. The thing is, I went to your house to talk to your family, but got nothing. I went into your room..."

"Uh huh..."

"I read your Journal."

Teddy rose to his feet at once. "You what?!"

"I know about everything." She concluded.

"Tori I-"
"No, let me finish." Tori stopped him. "The thing is... I understand. I understand how difficult everything's been for you. Which is why I'm letting you go."

"Letting me go? What do you mean?"
"I'm breaking up with you. You have too much on your mind. I can also really see your feelings for-" Tori was cut off by a sudden sharp pain in her head. She fell to her knees and screamed.

"Tori! What's wrong?"

When Tori's eyes met Teddy's, the irises were glowing purple.

"Oh no..." Teddy whispered. Howling like a banshee, Tori grabbed Teddy and threw him over head.

"How could you do this?!" She demanded. "You're gonna die, Teddy!" The girl raised a Zodiacs switch and pressed it, being surrounded by purple and black mist. The energy burst outward revealing a silver armored Zodiacs. The figure was masculine looking overall and her armor resembled scales. Her arms were clad with brown gauntlets. Her mask was that of a dragon's head.

"You will pay!" Tori raised her arms and fired blazing boulders from her gauntlets.

"Tori, you need to snap out of it!" Teddy beckoned to no avail. Tori kept firing boulders at him, howling even louder. Teddy weaved and rolled out of the way, trying to keep himself from getting hit. A rogue rock sailed for his head, but it was stopped by an invisible wall.

"You ok?" Ben yelling running in front of the Green Ranger.

"Ben... where're the others?"

"Busy. It's just me."

"What're you doing out here?"
"We'll talk later. Morph, now."

"Transcode: Fusion Fall!"

~Ben and Teddy Morphing Sequence~

"Careful, Ben. That's Tori in there."

"Wonderful." Ben sarcastically remarked transporting his Neo-Defender. "Let's go."

I've tried so hard; thought I could do this on my own.

The two Rangers rushed forward and clashed with the Dragon Zodiacs. She blocked both blades with her arms then jammed her fists into their stomachs, sending them flying back.

Ben rushed forward once more and crashed his sword over and over, trying to get a solid hit. However, Tori's armor was too powerful and all of Ben's efforts ended in him being tripped, bashed, or thrown. Teddy charged right into Tori, pushing her away from Ben.

"Tori, wake up!"

Tori roared and pummeled Teddy, sending him into Ben.

"You will both die!" Tori growled opening a portal under the two Rangers. The portal swallowed them up just as the other Rangers arrived.

"No!" Clara shouted. "What'd you do to them?!"

"Just took them to a place you'll never find." Tori replied before disappearing herself.

Oliver dropped to his knees and punched the ground. His eyes widened in even more fear when he spotted two familiar objects: Ben's meditation spheres.

~HQ~

"We've got to find them." Clara stated as she paced back and forth.

"Mom, have you found anything at all?" Oliver pressed. The boy wrung his hands together as he went over the hundreds of different dangers his friends could be in.

Becca put her hands on Oliver and said, "They're working as fast as they can."

This did not help at all. Oliver shoved Becca's hands off of him and yelled, "They should stop dragging their feet and work faster!"

The room went silent for a little bit and all eyes were on Oliver. Realizing what he had done, the boy silently exited HQ.

~Ben and Teddy~

"Where are we?" Ben asked getting up. Of course, he and Teddy were in a dark room. The floor appeared to be made of sand and the stone walls were barely visible. The Blue Ranger walked toward Teddy who was on the opposite side of the room. However, an invisible barrier splitting the room in half pushed him onto his back.

"Sorry... Should've told you about that." Teddy apologized. Ben huffed and retreated to the wall farthest away from the Green Ranger.

"You seem calm." Teddy observed.

Ben simply shrugged his shoulders and replied, "I'm used to getting kidnapped by evil freaks."

~HQ~

"I know, Clara. I'll apologize to Becca in a bit." Oliver muttered. The boy sat on one of the benches outside, his back to whoever he was talking to.

"Sweetie, I can see what you're going through." Dr. Kyle said as she sat down next to her son.

"Oh Hi, Mom..." Oliver looked down at the ground and squeezed his hands together, trying to keep himself from falling apart.

"Sweetheart, emotions are chemicals in your brain..." She put her left arm around her son's shoulder and continued, "... we give them meaning by choice. Don't keep them inside. They should be felt."

Oliver nodded and cried out. He sunk his head in his Mom's arms and sobbed into her shoulder.

"Everything's just falling apart!" Oliver admitted. "I couldn't bring Dad home, my Team is drifting, and I can't keep anything together."

"Shh... It's ok, Oliver... It'll be alright."

"I just don't know what to do anymore." Oliver choked, trying to take deep breathes.

"Sweetie, you have no idea how proud I am of you. I worry everyday you and your friends risk your lives. The things you pulled through is much more than anything Teenagers your age should be doing... But you're doing it. You're my strong young man..." Dr. Kyle kissed Oliver's head and whispered, "You don't have to blame yourself for anything... I brought you into this and you're doing just fine. Don't give up on yourself or anyone else."

The two stayed like that for a bit, each passing second making Oliver feel more confident in his ability.

~Ben and Teddy~

"So what? You're not gonna talk?" Teddy asked.

Ben shook his head and replied, "Nothing to talk about."

"You've got to be kidding me."

"Kidding?! Are you on something?!" Ben demanded standing up. "For months I've been trying to heal whatever this is! And what do you do? You push us away!"

"You don't understand." Teddy explained, trying to keep a calm tone.

"What? What don't I understand?!"

"I'm under a lot of pressure, okay?!" Teddy finally lost it. "I'm being pulled, Ben; Pulled in so many directions, I can't stand it!"

Tori's voice rang out, "Aww... Trouble in paradise?" The girl appeared overhead with an evil smirk on her face.

"Tori... why are you doing this?"

"Because I..." Again, Tori screamed and pressed her hands to her head as if something was rampaging inside her mind. For a few moments, the kind Tori Teddy had seen came back.

"Teddy... please... I don't know what's happening! Please help me!" Another fully body jerk brought the Zodiacs personality forward.

"She should be under the surface... Persistent girl... I'll deal with you two later." With that, she disappeared.

"It's still her." Teddy breathed a sigh of relief. "She's still... Tori."

"Whoopie do." Ben remarked sitting back down. "One big happy family."

"Ben..." Teddy growled.

"Well what do you want me to say?! You knew all along, Teddy! I know you did!"

"What?"

"You led me on! Ha! You know Clara told me this would happen? I like you Teddy! I've always liked you and you just... played with my feelings! Well I'm done! Done, you hear me?! I'm..." Ben grimaced from a twinge of pain. He lost balance for a few seconds and backed into the wall. His palms flattened against it, keeping him upright. The boy searched in his pockets, then began to panic.

"Ben, what's wrong?"

"My... my bells... I dropped them..." The boy collapsed to the floor and his vision began to fade.

I've lost so much along the way...

"Ben... Hey, Ben! Stay with me!" Teddy called out. The boy was at the barrier hitting his fist against it, trying to get through. His mind was going into overdrive. Without conscious thought, Teddy felt his ability activate, giving him more and more strength. He rammed his fists all over the place, trying to get through.

"Benji, hang on! Please!" He tackled the barrier like in football, smashed his shoulder into it, kicked it, everything he tried didn't work.

"No, no, no!" With each 'no,' Teddy punched the wall as hard as he could. The boy on the other side felt his mind fade, as if it were dissolving into a vast ocean.

Ben whispered, "Teddy..."

"BEN!" With all his might, Teddy put his hands together and hammer smashed the barrier. A green shockwave erupted from his hands and ran through the wall, causing it to crack and shatter.

"Benji!" Teddy slid over to Ben and took the boy into his arms. "Hey, wake up. Stay with me. Please, Ben..." Teddy placed his head over Ben's heart and closed his eyes. The heartbeat was there, but it was fading fast.

"I have to do something..." Teddy told himself. "What do I do?" Millions of thoughts ran through his mind, most of them memories. Suddenly, a flash came to his mind.

~Flashback~

"And you wrote these songs? No way." Ben mused. He was holding Teddy's music notebook that was lined with music paper for writing notes.

"Yeah. Lola inspired me." The two boys sat in the park having lunch together on a Saturday afternoon. Teddy had joined the Zettabytes a few days before and Lola had ignited some sort of musical fervor in the Green Ranger.

"Let me hear it?" Ben asked.

"It's still not done." Teddy replied patting the boy on the head. "You're gonna have to wait."

"Well, I just wanna hear you sing. Your voice is soothing, man."

~End Flashback~

"It's not done... but..." Teddy whispered and pulled Ben in closer.

"I'm here again... A thousand miles away from you.

A broken mess, just scattered pieces of who I am...

I've tried so hard; thought I could do this on my own.

I've lost so much along the way."

~Meanwhile~

"Got them!" Karen frantically informed. "In a spatial rift!"

Leonard said, "Making an extraction now! Get to these coordinates, guys!"

"Acknowledged. Let's go guys!" Clara led the team out of HQ.

~Ben and Teddy~

Teddy pulled Ben closer than ever where his mouth was right above Ben's ears. Teddy sobbed and sniffled as he tried to piece together more words to the song. The first verse was all he got. Reflecting on his time with Ben, he let random words flow through.

"And I see your face.. I know I'm finally yours.

I've found everything I thought I lost before

You call my name...

I come to you in pieces..."

Teddy slowly kissed Ben's forehead and finished,

"So you can make me whole..."

When he finished the improvised chorus, Teddy heard a small cough come from Ben.

"Benji?" Teddy asked, hope rising in his heart. Ben's bright eyes slowly opened and met with Teddy's.

"What... happened?"

"Everything's gonna be ok." Teddy cried pulling Ben into a hug. With that, the two were teleported by green and blue lights.

~On a Rooftop~

The two boys landed on a building, both spaced from each other.

"Ben!" Clara and Becca shouted as they ran to him. The girls flung themselves onto the boy and wound their arms around him.

"Guys... guys... Too tight." Ben struggled, earning an apology from both girls.

James offered his hand to Teddy and helped him up. "You good?"

"Yeah, thanks."

"You ruined everything!" Evil Tori yelled appearing from a cloud of smoke. "Ben was supposed to die!"

"Well clearly, your plan didn't work. Sorry bout that." Ben remarked stepping forward.

Evil Tori then said, "This isn't over. Not by a long shot." Her switch transformed and announced, "Last One."

"I'll shed this puny human body and evolve!" With a flash of black lights, the real Tori fell out of the Dragon Zodiacs wrapped in webbing. However, she herself was conscious.

"Tori!" Teddy shouted with worry.

"Teddy, you guys!... Please, help me!"

"Let's go!" Oliver instructed.

"Transcode: Fusion Fall!"

~Morphing Sequence~

"Room for one more?" Cyber Orange asked dropping in from above.

"Always." Oliver nodded.

"Power Rangers: Cyber Fusion!"

"Objective: Save Tori! Ready? Go!"

The eight Rangers swarmed the Zodiacs in a circle. First, Oliver and James slashed across Dragon's chest, but their swords did little damage. Clara landed a few hits on Dragon's shoulders, but she was tossed to the side. Luckily for her, Daniel was there to catch her. Orange, Ben, and Teddy jumped in with their swords and triple teamed the Zodiacs.

They had the advantage but, after a while, Dragon was able to fight back effectively. She grabbed Orange's Tracer and tossed him overhead and onto his back. She then proceeded to stomp on the boy.

"Benji, switch."

"Right."

"Power Transfer, Activate!"

"Platform Gatling!" Teddy called out firing green and blue lasers. The more powerful beams hit Dragon's right gauntlet and shattered it making her scream out in pain.

"Ben, the Gauntlet."

"I see it." With that, Ben charged forward with the Bridge Axe. Dragon fired boulders from her remaining Gauntlet but the Ranger swatted them away. He spun on his heels and managed to score a heavy blow on the last Gauntlet, destroying it. Both weapons must've been her power source because without them, her armor began to fall apart.

"Now, guys!" Ben called out.

Becca and Daniel came in first with a few slashes, tearing the Zodiacs up. James jumped off of Daniel while Clara jumped off of Becca. The two came down with their own swords and knocked Dragon back a few feet. They then used their projectile sidearms to further some damage.

Orange and Oliver finished the job with energy slash waves of orange and red. The two attacks combined to form an 'X', destroying the form and freeing Tori from her webbed prison.

"Tori!" Teddy called again demorphing as he ran to her. "Are you ok?"

"Thanks, Teddy..." She hugged the boy and cried, guilty from what she was influenced to do. "I'm sorry I did all of that. I didn't want to."

"I know, Tor. I know."

When the two parted, all the Rangers, save for Orange, gathered around. Getting the nod from Teddy, they all demorphed.

"I wouldn't have believed it unless I saw it in person. Thanks for saving me you guys. You aren't so bad after all." Tori genuinely smiled and giggled.

~Later On~

Teddy walked home trying to sort himself out. In his hand was his Iphone that was playing a movie. It wasn't just any movie; it was "The Breakfast Club," which was Ben's favorite. He didn't really pay attention the first time he watched it, but now, he found himself enjoying it. When the credits rolled, he got an idea.

"Why?" Becca asked crossing her arms. "He's not going." Teddy had invited all his friends except Ben over his house. They all sat in his living room discussing the Dance. TK and Gracie were there as well.

"Please, just get him to come." Teddy pleaded.

Clara asked, "We don't know if you deserve him, Teddy."

The Green Ranger winced at the comment, but it was expected. Taking in a deep breath, he said, "I know I don't. But please... I'm doing this for Ben. Just help me help him."

~The Next Night~

"I can't believe you talked me into this." Ben muttered as he walked into the school ballroom. The room was a large space with two floors. Food tables, the DJ stand, and a stage were spread out along the walls. Upstairs was more dancing space as well as a balcony that looked over the city. Ben, like the other Ranger guys, wore black suits with ties that matched their Ranger color. He adjusted his blue one trying to get more comfortable.

Oliver patted his best friend on the back and said, "It'll be fun. I promise."

TK pitched in, "You're already here, aren't you?"

"Not by choice."

"It'll be worth it." Daniel winked.

"Hey, boys!" Becca greeted. She, Gracie and Clara went up to meet the boys.

Clara wore a spectacular white dress that swept down to her ankles. The upper piece of her dress glittered yellow, making it slightly shine under the dim lights of the ballroom.

Becca and Gracie both wore dresses that stopped at their knees. Gracie's was black while Becca's was dark purple, and both wore heeled shoes.

After the friends and dates exchanged greetings, Becca and Gracie had to excuse themselves.

"Where're you going?" Ben asked, not knowing the situation.

"You'll see!" Gracie grinned. "You look handsome, by the way." With that, the two were off.

"We'll be back every now and then!" Becca called.

~In the Music Room~

"What if it doesn't work?" Teddy asked nervously, shaking like crazy. He, like James and Charlie, wore black button down shirts with red and white striped ties. Lola wore a similar dress to Becca and Gracie, except hers was a deep shade of pink.

"It will." James assured.

"I know but... it's just..."

Lola placed her hands on Teddy's hands to get him to calm down. "Everything'll be ok. We've practiced, we're all here together. You can do this."

About two hours or so into the dance, people were well into having a great time. That was when Vice Principal Vasquez stepped onto the stage at the end of the ballroom next to the DJ stand.

"Hey, everyone. I'm glad you're all having a good time!" The spanish vice principal was immediately met with loud cheering.

"Now, for a special performance from your fellow students, The Zettabytes!" The crowd cheered as Lola and Teddy walked on stage followed by Charlie, James, Becca, and Gracie.

The six exchanged looks of uncertainty, which completely changed into confidence and excitement.

Lola counted, "One... two... three..."

Lola:

I never knew

I never knew that everything was falling through

That everyone I knew was waiting on a cue

To turn and run when all I needed was the truth

Teddy:

But that's how it's got to be

It's coming down to nothing more than apathy

I'd rather run the other way than stay and see

The smoke and who's still standing when it clears

Both:

Everyone knows I'm in

Over my head

Over my head

With eight seconds left in overtime

She's on your mind

She's on your mind

As the band continued to play, the crowd began to stir with energy. They cheered loudly and moved to the beat. Teddy looked out toward his friends and saw Ben looking down at the floor. The Green Ranger turned to the others and nodded. From there, they changed key of the song and transitioned into a different one.

Teddy:

Hey, hey, hey, hey

Won't you come see about me?

I'll be alone, dancing you know it baby

Upon hearing the ending song from his favorite movie, Ben looked up at Teddy knowingly. The blonde gave a small laugh, realizing what was happening.

Tell me your troubles and doubts

Giving me everything inside and out.

Don't you forget about me

As you walk on by, will you call my name?

As he sang this part, Teddy made eye contact with Ben as if he were asking this to him.

As you walk on by, will you call my name?

Will you call my name?

Ben sighed with a smile and raised his fist in the air at Teddy. A surge of excitement coursed through Teddy as he succeeded in his plan. With energy, he continued,

I say: la, la, la, la,la la, la, la, la.

From there, one final key change transitioned the melody into the last song.

Lola:

Lately I been, I been losing sleep

Dreaming about the things that we could be

Teddy:

But baby, I been, I been prayin' hard

Both:

Said no more counting dollars

We'll be counting stars

Lola:

Yeah, we'll be counting stars

Becca:

I see this life

Like a swinging vine

Swing my heart across the line

In my face is flashing signs

Seek it out and ye shall find

Gracie and Becca:

Old, but I'm not that old

Young, but I'm not that bold

And I don't think the world is sold

I'm just doing what we're told

Lola and Teddy Harmonize:

I feel something so right

By doing the wrong thing

And I feel something so wrong

By doing the right thing

Teddy:

I couldn't lie, couldn't lie, couldn't lie

Everything that kills me makes me feel alive

All four:

Lately I been, I been losing sleep

Dreaming about the things that we could be

But baby, I been, I been prayin' hard

Said no more counting dollars

We'll be counting stars

Lately I been, I been losing sleep

Dreaming about the things that we could be

But baby, I been, I been prayin' hard

Said no more counting dollars

We'll be, we'll be counting stars

Lola:

Everything that kills me makes me feel alive

All four:

Lately I been, I been losing sleep

Dreaming about the things that we could be

But baby, I been, I been prayin' hard

Said no more counting dollars

We'll be counting stars

Lately I been, I been losing sleep

Dreaming about the things that we could be

But baby, I been, I been prayin' hard

Said no more counting dollars

We'll be, we'll be counting stars

Take that money

Watch it burn

Sink in the river

The lessons I learned.

The six bowed in place, looking out over the crowd. Teddy then caught the eyes of his athletic teammates who all grinned and nodded in approval and acceptance.

~Later On~

After their performance, the crowd went wild for the Zettabytes. The cheering lasted for quite a while, prompting Vasquez to quell them all down. The dance resumed when the DJ played music once more.

Teddy stood on the second floor of the Ballroom looking at the shining city lights on the Balcony. He felt proud of himself; proud that he had made his peace with Tori, proud that his Teammates on the Rangers and his sports accepted him back. Everything that night was going almost perfectly. Almost.

"That was cool what you did in there." Ben's voice reached Teddy. The boy turned around to see the blonde walk out onto the Balcony with him. Standing next to his friend, Ben watched the Skybrooke Skyline. "I never thought you'd sing that song."

"Well I had to." Teddy grinned.

"I'm impressed you sat through the movie on your own! I mean, I don't know how you couldn't have enjoyed it, it's like one of the most classic movies of all time and I-" Ben was suddenly cut off by Teddy grabbing him and pressing their lips together. At that moment, the world stopped for both of them. Everything seemed right and neither one cared if anyone saw. After what seemed like forever, the two pulled apart.

"You... are such a nerd." Teddy whispered, to which Ben laughed at. Suddenly, they heard the DJ start the last slow song of the night; one they both knew all too well: "Fix You" by Coldplay.

"Wanna dance?" Teddy asked.

Ben's eyes widened. "In front of everyone?"

"Only if you want to."

"Let's do it."

The two descended a flight of stairs and walked onto the dance floor holding hands. The beauty of this was that everyone saw them and stared for a bit. But, their stares showed no disgust or aggression. Instead, it was acceptance in the way that they really didn't mind in the slightest.

In seconds, everyone was with a partner swaying to the chorus.

Oliver and Becca swayed near Ben and Teddy, smiling at each other.

"Who taught you how to dance?" Becca winked.

Oliver blushed, "I... uh... took classes?"

"Well, they paid off didn't they?"
"They did!" Oliver laughed.

Meanwhile, Daniel told Clara, "Looks like all's well that ends well."

Clara looked over at a beaming Ben and smiled, "Looks like we can finally move on and be a team again."

Nodding, Daniel twirled his girlfriend and brought her into a dip. When he caught her, he pecked her lips and pulled her back up.

James and Lola were particularly close. It got to the point where Lola rested her head on James' shoulder. No words were said, as there was no need.

Gracie inwardly swooned at TK's dancing skill. "You're graceful." She teased.

"Well, Oliver made me take classes with him."

"He did?"

"Yeah, he told me he didn't want to feel out of place." TK laughed. "Don't tell anyone though."

Ben and Teddy's foreheads were pressed together as the song began to reach it's end.

"That song you sang for me in that spatial rift was beautiful." Ben whispered.

"You heard it?"

"Of course I did."

"Well, it's still not done. But when it is, I'll sing it for you."

"And I'll hold you to that."

The two shared a soft, tender kiss as the song finished up.

Lights will guide you home

and ignite your bones

and I will try

to fix you.
