Sooooooo. I guess this wasn't the last chappy... and I'm super sorry for taking so friggin long to update. My jobs are getting stressful, and for some reason lately every time I have any free time it gets taken up by something like, right away... as in, I have no free time. lol But don't worry, I want to finish this! Because it's SO DARN close... and by the way, I'm not sure if this is too soon to say something. But, I already have a sequel planned for this story... hehehehehehehehhee. COUGH anyway, you pronounce 'Buhguul' like BUH-GOOL... just FYI... anyway, ENJOY! SORRY AGAIN, and please leave them reviews! We are SO CLOSE TO THE END!

"WHO!?" Simon demanded.

"I'm not Cherry… I'm not even a dancer." Kurama tried his best to stay calm, but he knew what he was about to tell him would make him even more upset than he already was. And that was dangerous. Haley didn't deserve any of this…

"What's your real name?" Simon spoke quietly, but his voice was full of anger as his teeth grinded together. He was sweating, and his face was red.

"My name is …Kurama." Where in the hell was Yusuke? Kurama couldn't focus because he was so afraid for Haley, and if Yusuke was in trouble he needed to go help him! Also, coming out of his character was so strange feeling, especially after being the one certain way for so long. Saying his name out loud felt wrong.

"Why are you here!?" Simon spoke louder this time as his arm around Haley's neck tightened. Haley cried out and was now crying hard, she looked horrified, and that drove Kurama crazy.

"Cherry, help me!" She yelled out.

"Shut up bitch!" Simon grinded out as he looked down to her, and pressed the barrel of the gun harder into her head.

Kurama panicked, and could barely stop himself from stepping forward. Simon looked to him with panic, but Kurama just raised his hands up slowly. "Just look at me… I was sent here to get information on your business partners. We are interested in the drug you are distributing, called black soul."

Simon looked stunned. "This is why you've been so friendly with me then?" He looked betrayed, and for some crazy reason that also pulled at Kurama's heart strings. Because he knew deep down, some where in Simon he was still just a child. And that was the only part of him that Kurama could take advantage of… which he did.

"Yes." Kurama spoke with no emotion.

"Why me!?" He looked very upset.

"You'd be the first to distribute into the human world."

"So you know about spirit world?" He seemed like he was beginning to put things together. "Are you even a human?" Now he looked afraid.

Kurama locked eyes with him. "I'm human. But I work with the Spirit World. I was arrested a few years back, and have been working for them ever since." He was human… so that wasn't a lie. There was just no need to go into things further.

"Do NOT fucking lie to me! No human can do that!" He looked to Matthias's dead body with fear apparent on his face.

Kurama swallowed, and looked to Markus. They made eye contact, and Kurama could tell Markus was now wondering the same thing. He was fully human, but Youko was still apart of him. Spiritually. Maybe he'd try to dumb it down for them. They wouldn't be able to understand the real explanation.

"I'm fully human, my human mother gave birth to me and everything. But I do have demon ancestors, which gives me the ability to do things like

that." He glanced towards Matthias, and hoped that lame explanation would suffice.

"Now tell me why you're here."

"To get information, from you."

"So you've been using me!?" Simon yelled out, obviously upset.

Kurama glanced at Markus, and Markus shook his head.

"Yes. I'm been getting close to you, to get information about your employer." Kurama spoke softly, trying to keep him calm. What else was he going to say? He wouldn't lie to him, because Simon knows he's been being used.

"So you're forced to do this work for Spirit world? Why? Why me!? Why this place!"

"It's my debt. I have no choice." Kurama grinded his teeth, he didn't like telling anyone he was indebted to anyone.

Kurama could feel Markus' eyes on him, but he chose not to look.

"Why… were you arrested?" Simon seemed nervous to ask.

Kurama glanced to the side, and felt irritated that he had to keep talking to this sick person. "I stole something from them."

"What did you steal?" He demanded.

"Something very valuable to them."

"So you're strong." Simon finally got to his point.

"I can handle myself, yes Simon."

"Don't fucking say my name!" He snapped out.

Kurama sighed and looked away, the stress was almost too much. He wished he could just kill this ass hole and get Haley safe, but it'd be too much of a risk.

"Look, Simon." Markus spoke up, before Kurama could again. He stepped forward, and tried his best to look like he wasn't about to pass out. But Kurama could tell he was having trouble just standing. "If you put the gun down, and don't hurt anyone… I'll try to cook up a deal with you and your lawyer."

"Shut the hell up! Do you work with him!?" He looked stunned.

"NO!" Markus held his hands up. "No… I'm an undercover cop."

Kurama glared at him. He better now say he was there for Simon, or shit would go down. Why was he even talking!?

"What's an undercover cop doing in my club!?" He grinded out.

"I was just investigating a series of rapes, and they led me here. Nothing really…" He spoke with confidence like always.

Simon glared at him, but almost seemed calmer now. "Will you arrest me, and not let him take me?" He motioned towards Kurama.

Markus smirked, and nodded. Kurama knew that made him extremely happy, because he had been trying to nail Simon for so long. "Yes. I can definitely do that. He doesn't have jurisdiction here."

Kurama wasn't planning on arresting him… he was planning on killing him, and he didn't really care if Markus got angry with him. This man was going to die, a slow and bloody death. And he was going to enjoy the smell of his fear while he did so.

"Simon. Just put the gun down." Kurama threatened. Becoming tired of this stupid stand off.

Markus looked to him with irritation, sensing the impatience in his voice.

"Don't worry. We can work something out. I promise." Markus spoke louder this time, obviously trying to get Kurama to shut up.

"Now now, what do we have here?" A voice came from behind Kurama and Markus. Kurama knew that voice, and it brought rage to his insides. Markus jerked in surprise as he turned around quickly.

Simon perked up, and looked worried. "Sir, I didn't know you'd be coming today."

"Calm down, keep the gun up. But just breathe." The calm voice spoke.

"Who are you!?" Markus demanded.

Kurama closed his eyes in irritation, this entire time it was him, and he couldn't figure that out? Of course it would be him… he was young, successful, and his name started with an 'S'. Why was he so stupid? This wasn't his specialty, but it made sense. There was lots of money involved, and it was definitely a gamble. He loved gambling.

"Sakyo." Kurama spoke as he heard Sakyo walk up towards the bar, where Simon was.

"Kurama." He smiled to him as he sat down at a stool. "Pleasure to see you. It's been a long time." He kept his eyes locked with Kurama's, and Kurama was trying his best not to kill the man in front of him. But he knew if he moved either Haley would die, or he would lose control and actually kill Sakyo… which would cause way too much trouble for Koenma.

Markus was looking back and fourth between them, and his expression was beyond confused.

"You know him?" Markus sounded accusatory at Kurama.

Kurama glanced at him, then looked back to Sakyo. "So you're the one getting this drug out into the human world? I'd thought you'd want to save your own kind."

Sakyo chuckled. "Oh yes. If only I could choose that over my true love."

Kurama grinded his teeth, he knew Sakyo enjoyed the pain of others… it was a game to him, and if he could cause a mass hysteria of pain and suffering… he wouldn't be any happier.

"Now, I have a question for you." Sakyo spoke as he lit a cigarette.

Kurama tensed, and the fact Sakyo was acting so cocky and in control, told him he had something up his sleeve. Yusuke!? He felt himself swallow hard as the panic began to fill his veins. He knew he could take Sakyo with ease... he was weak. Well, physically weak. He matched Kurama in mental stability, and if they were stuck in a debate, or some sort of card game... Sakyo's bluffs and tactics would be hard to beat. His mouth was a complex maze that was always shooting out new puzzles or traps... Kurama couldn't trust a thing he said, but at the same time, he might not have a choice.

"Why is it that you and your teammate are investigating my drug?" He smirked as if he were flattered.

Kurama felt worried. The fact he was bringing up Yusuke made him scared... what had he done? Was he okay?

"Where is he?" Kurama spoke deep and slow, as his eyes threatened Sakyo.

"Ooh." Sakyo smiled. "Don't give me that look. It's scary." He chuckled quietly as he took in a puff of his cigarette, then turned his attention to Markus.

"I hate that look." He must know Markus had been working with him...

Even though Markus was in pain and looked like he might pass out any moment, his confused expression stuck out the most. He normally looked like he knew what was going on, but right now he looked like he was so lost... because, well... he was.

"I'm assuming you've gotten to know each other decently well?" Sakyo kept his eyes locked onto Markus.

"Who the hell are you?" Markus spoke calmly, then glanced at Kurama to possibly get a read on him...

"Just an old friend of Kurama's." He smirked again.

"Not sure I believe that." Markus said quickly.

"Oh." Sakyo seemed entertained. "He's fun." He looked back to Kurama.

"He doesn't know what's going on , leave him out of it." Kurama demanded as he kept his eyes going between Simon and Sakyo... he had to keep this situation together, even if he was about to burst with stress.

"That's no fun. And you know I like fun."

"I know you enjoy other's suffering. You're a sadist."

"And you're not?" He mocked.

Kurama glared, feeling offended. Markus just kept listening, now even more confused than before.

"How the hell do you know him?" Markus asked Kurama, with a more hushed voice.

"I'm glad you asked." Sakyo spoke up louder as he interrupted.

Kurama grinded his teeth, there wasn't any need for this petty conversation right now... but Kurama couldn't read if this was just a bluff, or if he actually had something important to Kurama. This is why he wasn't moving... Sakyo was the best with mind games, and he wasn't sure what move was the best choice at the moment. So staying still, and not upsetting anyone might be the best for now... at least until Sakyo decides to tell Kurama what he wants. What else could he do?

"This is needless." Kurama grinded out.

"To you, maybe." He sat up straighter, still wearing an amused smile as he looked to Markus again.

Kurama grinded his teeth harder as he now had his eyes locked onto Simon. Kurama could see he was still shaking, and sweating. Obviously stressed to the max. He kept adjusting the gun in his hand, and was probably having a hard time holding it snuggly due to all the sweat he was producing. That made Kurama extremely nervous, if he were to accidentally slip and pull the trigger, then Haley would be gone... Simon jerked Haley closer to him as he whispered in her ear.

Kurama read his lips. 'Don't move, bitch.' Was what he said, as he once again adjusted the gun in his hand and moved her to a more comfortable position for himself. Kurama almost couldn't focus on Sakyo because he was getting so stressed out about how Simon was treating her. He looked like he was close to losing it, and the stress was going to be too much for him to handle if they stood here much longer... should Kurama just act? And not worry about Yusuke? Did Sakyo really have something to hold over him? Or was this all just a huge bluff?

"Back about oh... several years ago, I put together a small little tournament." Sakyo cleared his throat as he glanced at Simon. "Stay focused Winters, you don't want to splatter blood on me, now do you? And you, I suggest you don't move." He spoke to Charlie, who Kurama completely forgotten about.. She was sitting down on the ground still, where Simon had thrown her...

Kurama felt his heart jerk as Simon perked up and seemed to wake up from his little haze of rage. He looked to Sakyo with attention and then nodded. "Right, sorry. I'm good." He swallowed as he took in a breath, and Haley was staying as still as she possibly could as she desperately kept her eyes locked with Kurama's.

Kurama felt his insides being torn apart... but slight relief as Simon seemed to be more awake now, and less crazed. Haley would be fine, if she and Charlie didn't move... Sakyo was smart, and knew he had to keep this play going to keep the upper hand in this little game of his.

"Anyway, Kurama here was on a team with Yusuke, his friend, I'm sure you've met him. They fought through the entire thing and surprised me when they made it all the way to the end... to fight my superior team." He sighed.

"Why are you talking about this?" Kurama glared, now being comfortable enough to look at him.

"That man wants to know how I know you." He held his hand out to Markus. "I should respect a detective, should I not?" That almost sounded like a threat to Kurama, so he just shut up.

Markus glanced between Sakyo and Kurama, and seemed even more worried than before. He wasn't sure what was going on, but the fact Kurama was acting so different made him think twice about doing anything.

"Thank you." Sakyo smiled. "So, once they got to the finals they all had wonderful battles... and some how Yusuke's team ended up winning. It was quite the fun game, and I honestly hadn't had that much fun in a long time. It's strange, I often think of those days when my mind wanders." He sighed out with a big smile as he reminisced.

"So how's that make you friends?" Markus asked, sounding annoyed.

"It doesn't." Kurama grit his teeth.

Sakyo grinned. "Well, we are very close. I might not have spent much time with him, but one of my subordinates, who was quite fond of him by the way, spent plenty of time with him... and he told me all about it..." Sakyo smirked, and his eyes became dark as he looked straight at Kurama.

Kurama felt like he was just shot, his eyes widened and the inward gasp he took made his entire body stiffen. His insides twisted with rage, embarrassment, anger, fear, shame, and pretty much any other negative thing you could think of. Sakyo was trying to piss him off, trying to get him to make the first move so he'd have an excuse to kill... or he was just fucking with Kurama just to fuck with him. Kurama couldn't focus right now, all he could focus on was not showing his rage outwardly. Unfortunately his fist were already clinched, his jaw set, and his forehead was becoming moist from sweat. This was stressing him out, just like Sakyo wanted, and Kurama wasn't sure if he would be able to hold out for as long as Sakyo planned... but he had Yusuke, so he needed to.

Markus was still lost as he glanced at Kurama, and stared a little bit longer. Then looked back to Sakyo, almost seeming afraid to speak again. He could obviously tell Kurama was stressed out, and the fact Sakyo brought up something that wasn't a light subject made the entire room become heavy.

"Why are you telling me this?" Markus was trying to stop it now.

"Because, it's fun." He smiled. "I like having fun."

Kurama hated this feeling, and wanted it to stop. Maybe it was his turn to make a bluff... this was a game after all, and Sakyo had his turn. He took in a breath, then stood straighter as he gathered himself forcefully. He had to be calm, he had to be.

"If you continue to speak, then I'll promise myself that when I kill you, it'll be slow and painful... you'll wonder why you ever enjoyed pain on anyone... how could you enjoy something so terrible? All you'll enjoy is the thought of death, taking you permanently into the darkness that you've so readily become." He grinding his teeth as he allowed his anger to take over... not completely, but enough to get his point across.

Sakyo looked excited as his eyebrows rose. "I think I pissed him off." He glanced back at Simon, who then looked to him with a nervous smile. "Have you ever seen him angry?" He looked to Markus. "I haven't- well, until now that is."

"You seem real proud of yourself." Markus spat out.

"Oh, but I am!" He stood up as he put his cigarette back into his mouth. "You don't seem to understand the person who stands next to you. He's a rare kind...very rare indeed." He spoke slowly as he looked Kurama up and down, admiring him like a piece of art. "People don't get to him... his outer shell is very strong. So to say I'm proud of myself when I am able to crack that shell, well, is an understatement."

Markus looked like he was feeling sick, either from his injury, or how strange this entire situation was getting. He just looked away from Sakyo, not knowing how to respond to such a creepy statement.

"The only full fledged excitement I've had involving this fox, was hearing the grimacing details of his brutal..." He grinned. "And I mean brutal... rape." He chuckled proudly, almost as if he were talking about something small, and embarrassingly petty. He was cringing as he puffed his cigarette once more, this time much longer and with a little more excitement.

Markus looked horrified as he cringed at Sakyo, then looked quickly to Kurama. He was obviously stressed and worried for Kurama as he now obviously had no idea what to do, or say.

Kurama felt Markus' eyes on him, but ignored them. He was done with this, and instead of becoming overwhelmed by his anger, he allowed it to energize him. Sakyo was going to die.

"You seem to be begging for your death. Very well then, I'll give it to you." Kurama smirked, now ignore everyone else except Sakyo as he reached up in his hair and pulled out another seed.

Sakyo grinned. "Took you long enough to start playing."

"Even if I don't manage to kill you today, Sakyo. You will die by my hands, and it will be enjoyable. I promise you that."

"I'm sure you believe those words." Sakyo smirked. "But now it's my turn." He turned to look out of the room. "Buhguul! Come quickly, before Kurama makes a move he regrets!"

"Buhguul?" Kurama whispered out, his stomach dropped and hoped he wasn't going to see what he knew was coming.

Markus became uneasy as he looked around the room, obviously stressed suddenly by something. Kurama knew what it was, it was the presence of the demon entering the room. How did Sakyo always manage to get these disgusting creatures to side with him?

As the demon walked into the room the entire space became heavier, he was a very tall, large figure. His hair was long, dark, and dirty. His huge body was covered in scars, and other then his dark, baggy, ripped pants, he was bare. His pale skin was hard to look at because it was so absent of life. The scars made his skin uneven and cringe worthy and the patterns of scars on his face and neck were obviously intentional. His face was dark, his cheeks sunken in, and eyes deep in the sockets. There was obviously no soul, because his eyes were so dark they almost resembled holes. His mouth though, was the most distracting feature as it had a coating of dark red, and black liquid around it. Cheeks, lips... and his teeth were all covered, which were hanging out of his mouth in the strangest and most uncomfortable looking way. They were jagged, and sharp, obviously used plenty as some were cracked and broken; even the nerves on some were exposed as his heavy breath was the only noise he was making.

But what brought the most fear to Kurama was that the demon was dragging something behind him, and that something was Yusuke. His limp body was pale and cold looking, almost dead... and that was horrifying.

His eyes widened and his body stiffened as he immediately dropped his seed in surrender, Sakyo wasn't bluffing. He did have a good hand, and he was going to win whatever he was planning to do... what did he want? What?

"I'm sure you've heard of Buhguul." Sakyo grinned as the demon now stay on the outer area of the room, just having his presence this close made everyone feel deep sadness and sickness. Markus was already keeling over more than he had the entire time, and was obviously trying his best not to throw up again.

"Please." Kurama had his eyes locked on Yusuke's limp body.

How was this going to play out?
