Season 2 Of Royal Promise

Hello! I'll make a return of royal promise, with it's second season!

Right now the first season, is at 10,000+ reads... Lets add to that with the second season shall we?

For this story, I will make it that. The reason gray has never aged, is because he was a demon.

For a human to transform into a demon, they are to be bitten by a demon for the immortal blood to be transferred and ultimately destroy the blood cells of an ordinary human. Is all I'm saying, not going to spoil anything.

Also going to be kinda old fashioned, as in like 19th century like. Cause some of you may know that I like that time-frame particularly to write a story about.

Second Season, Officially begun.

Natsu's POV

The cool breeze blew into the open spaces of the gazebo. The chirping of birds was the melody that was provided by nature to make this moment all the more blissful. I had rested my head on Lucy's lap, thinking of all the times we'd been together, and all the hardships we'd go through together. Now finally, here we are. Married.

I opened my eyes from an afternoon nap. Immediately bring up my arm to block the binding sunlight. A hand fixed my short bangs covering a part of one eye.

"Awake are you, My lord?" A sweet voice chimed. It was so intriguing, so luring. All sound around me was eliminated but her honey coated voice.

"Almost." I answered.

"Why don't we drink some tea?" She asked cheerfully.

I sat up and held my head, still in the midst of waking, "Gray." I called.

"Yes, my lord?" He quickly showed up and stood next to the gazebo, awaiting my next order.

"Go get some tea and snacks for the two of us."

Moments later Gray came walking with a silver tray. He placed down two cups with it's matching floral tea pot. Following the placements were plates of biscuits and assorted deserts.

"What tea is it today, Gray?" Lucy asked as Gray poured the tea.

"Well, M'lady. Today we'll just have the simple yet popular, English breakfast tea." He smiled warmly, "Well then, I'll stand aside. Please enjoy." He stood at the side of the gazebo.

"Hey, Natsu?" Lucy asked as she quietly sipped her tea.

"Hmm?"

"I've always wondered this," Hearing her curiosity I sat closer to her, put my arm around her shoulder and gestured her to continue, "Remember when there was a time that we had died and came back to life?" I nodded, "Everyone had grown old, and we had an advantage and all. But Gray? He's still the same, as if he's never aged."

I sighed, as I knew the long story to that one, "Well Lucy, to start if off. In our area, you aren't the only gifted being. To be exact, immortal."

She scrunched her eyebrows and fell into deep thought while repetitively saying, 'immortal'.

"He's a demon." I brought her thoughts to an end.

She jolted and looked into my eyes with a shocked expression, "What?"

"You heard me."

"But how-"

"I'd rather not say it, as it was a fairly painful process he had to go through to become as he is now." I sighed, "Am I right, Gray?"

"Certainly, My lord."

Gray's POV

(Flashback)

I couldn't wait. Tomorrow was Christmas! My parents promised me we would and sit under the biggest pine trees next to the lake that always reflected the moon clearly, and there we would watch the snow fall. We would build snowmen and-

A bloodied scream charged through the corridor and broke through the door of my room. Who would scream in the middle of the night at this hour?

I slowly got up from my bed and walked over to the foot of my door. I opened it and peeked through the small gap.

The long dark hallway with shadows that danced on the walls frightened me and threatened me to proceed any further. But with courage I stepped into the darkness that devoured me and progressed towards the room with the open door with moonlight that pierced the darkness, possibly my only motivation.

I smiled as I thought they could be hiding a present from me for tomorrow. I hurried my pace...

I stood at the doorway, as my heart sank and tears trickled down my cheeks. This can't be happening.

"Hey... Mum? Dad?" The soulless bodies of my beloved parents lie upon the cold hard ground, "Didn't we promise to see the snow together?"

I walk closer and closer. Slowly I reach my hand out to the gingerly in attempt to wake them up. But to no prevail, the bodies refused to move. My words, actions nor emotions could bring them back from the dead. The dead stay the dead.

Steps approached from behind me, "A kid?" I turned around as a woman around the age of 20 squatted before me with a slight smirk. I jumped back in surprise and screamed.

"Who are you?!" I shouted.

She simply ignored my all words and spoke to her accordance, "So they were your parents huh?" She gave a look of pity, "Well, I guess to be at least a bit merciful, I'll say thanks to them for the fulfilling meal."

"You... You killed them?!" Mixed emotions were plunged into my heart as if my a dagger smeared in poison.

"Are your eyes just holes in your head?"

"But why..." I sobbed, "I'll kill you!" I tried to. But as I judge the book by it's cover too soon. She did not seem like a weak woman at all. She held me firm by my forehead with just a hand?

"Whoa. Whoa." She stood up and towered over me, "Calm down." She plainly said as she still held me in place.

"Calm down? You want me to clam down?"

"You wanna die, kid? I think it's about time you respect your seniors." She mocked.

"I won't calm down! I've lost people dear to me. I assume you killed them mercilessly and unhesitatingly, you don't have special people do you?!" She looked down onto me with serious eyes. Her expression had changed from before. Tension filled the air and I calmed down. A sudden fear filled me. What's happening...

"That's the look I want, fear... Something only demons feed on." She brought her face closer to my neck. Then instantly dug her sharp canine fangs into my neck, piercing the flesh like it was tissue.

"P-please, let me live. I'll do whatever you want." She stopped her process of devouring my soul. And eyed me.

"Anything?" She cooed.

"A-anything." I stuttered as her eyes glowed ad ruby red.

(After the flashback Gray has. It'll all back to the couple and I'll make a lot of Nalu moments, I promise.)
