Disclaimer: I don't own these characters or this world. I just like to be a part of it sometimes

Author's Notes: This is all A/U, but I'd say we can assume that anything we've seen so far in the show applies.

"What are you doing?"

Audrey couldn't help but smile as she felt Nathan kiss the top of her head. She was sitting cross-legged on his sofa with her laptop on her lap, carefully uploading all of her pictures from her now-defunct phone that she was going to then transfer back to her new phone. And, because she was paranoid that she would lose something somewhere, she had been transfixed on the progress bar that was inching along in front of her on her screen, and hadn't even heard Nathan come in. Now that she knew he was here though, she leaned back and tilted her head up so that she could see him, and cupped his cheek as he leaned down to press an upside down kiss to her lips. She looked back at her screen, but kept her hand on his as he began to massage her shoulders.

"I'm transferring my pictures from my phone into my new one, and I'm just keeping an eye on it to make sure I don't lose anything.

She could hear Nathan snort behind her. He knew about her aversion to technology. It always struck a fatal blow when you were least expecting it, so it needed to be watched.

"Have you eaten yet?"

Audrey shook her head, and watched as Nathan walked towards the kitchen, and couldn't help but smile at how domesticated they had become. The Troubles were back, worse than ever before, but somehow during the chaos, the two of them had been able to settle down and just be a normal couple. More often than not, they were interrupted by an alert, but sometimes they got lucky and would get an evening off. Today, she had gone into work early, which worked out in her favor, because when her phone finally decided it was on its last legs, she had time to run to the store to get a new one. Nathan had come into the station later, so as she was waiting for his shift to end, she decided to head to his house to set up her new phone.

She could smell something delicious being cooked as the progress bar finally hit 100%, and she mentally pumped a fist in the air at her small victory. Half of the battle had been won. She had all of the pictures out of the old phone, and now needed to get them into the new phone. But, at least they were on her laptop, so they were somewhere.

And to make sure everything was there, she started clicking through all the images, pausing at ones here and there as she remembered taking them. One of them stopped her dead in her tracks. She didn't even know she had it. Duke must have sent it to her without her realizing it. And seeing it again reduced her to a fit of giggles. She wasn't a giggling kind of girl, but sometimes, you just had to giggle.

Her fit of laughter had Nathan walking in from the kitchen to investigate. Her laughter was infectious, and he was grinning already. "What is it, Parker?"

Audrey had to wipe the tears coming out of her eyes, and seeing Nathan standing in the doorway to the kitchen had her imagining all sorts of things and her laughter started anew. As Nathan's grin started to fade, she knew she had to let him in on the joke, but she was incapable of words at the moment, so she merely pointed at the screen and beckoned him over.

He moved towards her and leaned down towards the screen, and she could see his body tense. When he spoke, her laughter started again, and she never knew she could laugh this much.

"Where did you get this?"

It was difficult, but she managed to stop laughing enough to speak. "Duke took it. You were really drunk that night. I didn't know you could move like that, Wuornos." And then, laughter overtook her again. His face was priceless. He was both mortified, and amused at the same time.

"You think that's funny, huh?"

Audrey could only laugh. Her stomach muscles were beginning to hurt, but it felt so good to laugh like this. It had been so long since she could just laugh. She forced herself to stop though when Nathan just kept looking at her. Was he mad she had the picture? Was he mad that she was laughing at him? She knew that deep down he didn't think very highly of himself, but she felt as though she had slayed all those demons for him. Maybe she hadn't. "What?"

Nathan just keep looking at her, and moved so fast she didn't even know what was happening until she was scooped up in his arms. "I'll show you how I can move."

And as carried her towards the bedroom, she continued laughing. Oh, what a picture could do.
