Jason's POV
The moon was full and bright when I was bitten. A huge dog growled at me and I tried to get away from it, but it bit me before I managed to climb a fire escape. It felt like my blood was on fire and then, nothing. When I woke up, it was bright… well, as bright as Gotham ever gets. The light hurt my eyes and the sounds killed my head and the smells made my stomach sick. It took a few hours for me to get used to it, but I wrote it off as waking up from being unconscious… until the next full moon, that is. I had been so angry, and feeling sick, that day with no idea why. Some of Two-Face's guys had cornered me when the light of the full moon hit me and I screamed.
It wasn't that I was in pain or that it felt like I was possessed; it just felt weird. I could feel my bones shift and grown, my organs rearrange, and hair grow out of me. The thugs screamed and ran before I finished my transformation. When I finally did stop, I looked into a puddle and jerked back in shock. I was a wolf; a giant wolf. Well, wasn't expecting that.
Every full moon since then, I've been able to hide myself on full moons, during the transformation. The people of Crime Alley became used to the large dog that ran in the streets on the full moon.
Now that I'm at Wayne Manor, I haven't been able to run. But, hey, you gain some you lose some. I got a home, a family, and a Father. I lost my freedom on one night a month, to get so much… it doesn't mean I don't miss it though.

Bruce's POV
Jason's snappish again today. I think I'm going to have to take him off of patrol again… "Do you know what? Forget it! Go on your own tonight, I'm not feeling good, anyway!" Jason stood up and walked away from the dinner table after our fight. Or not.
"Alfred, have you noticed that Jason gets more irritable for a few days once a month?" I asked him.
"Yes, sir." Alfred said, giving me his famous 'what are you going to do about it?' look.
"Alright, alright, I'll stay in tonight to see what's up, but, I'm going to give him time to cool down first." I said, going to the living room to work on cases.

Jason's POV
I made it back to my room and paced back and forth. The full moon always makes me edgy and touchy. Thankfully, Bruce leaves me alone for the night. I feel my breathing quicken as the full moon begins to rise, then the transformation starts. Over time, I've gotten used to the transformation enough that I can do it silently. Once I've changed, I climb up on the windowsill, putting my nose against the screen of the open window and sighing. Just another night alone.

Bruce's POV
I gave Jason three hours to cool down… well, actually, I lost track of time, but anyways…. I went upstairs and knocked on his door. "Jason? Jason, can we please talk?" I get no response. Quietly, I open the door and see Jason's form under the blanket on his bed. Softly smiling, I walk over and pull the blanket off of his head, then my eyes widened as I looked into the eyes of a wolf.
The wolf jumped out of the bed and backed into a corner, growling. Those eyes…. "Jason?" He stopped growling, but seemed to sink into himself. I reached out and tilted his head up, petting his head. "Oh, Jason. This explains so much." Jason rubbed his head on my hand and licked my hand. I smiled. "Well, I think it's time to go to sleep so Alfred gets some time off." Jason nodded. I climbed onto his bed and he jumped up, laying down next to me, and put his head on my legs. I turned a Netflix movie on (Jason can never sleep without some noise) and pet Jason before falling asleep.

Bruce's POV, the Next Morning
I woke up when the sun shined in my eyes. A soft groan and feeling someone shuffle against me made me open my eyes. Jason was cuddled into my side, snoring softly, and pressing his face into my side. Last night came back to me. Jason's a werewolf… He must be exhausted from last night… I pet Jason's hair and dozed off until Alfred came in to wake us both up. "Master Bruce, Master Jason, breakfast is ready."
"Thank you, Alfred. We'll be right down." Alfred closed the door and walked away. Jason was still pressing his face into my side. "Jason, Jason, it's time to wake up. Breakfast is ready." I said, gently shaking him.
"Wha?" he slurred, raising his head and shaking it. His nose started twitching as he sniffed. "Mmmm, bacon…" He stretched his arms and legs before getting out of bed.
"Jason, can you smell that from up here?" I asked surprised. The kitchen is about as far away from his room as it could get.
"Yeah, one of the upsides of…" He trailed off, pulling a shirt over his head.
"We need to talk about last night, at some point." I said.
"I know!" He snapped at me, growling. I looked at him in surprise as he took a deep breath. "Sorry, I get irritated easily the day before and after a full moon."
"That explains a lot. It's okay, Jason." I said as he started to look depressed about it. "Now, you seemed excited about the bacon."
"Let's go!" Jason yelled, jumping on the bed, then off the other side to run out the door and down the stairs. By the time I got down there, he was scarfing down bacon, ham, eggs, and sausage.
"I am assuming that last night's full moon went well?" Alfred asked, expectantly.
"You knew?!" Jason and I yelled together. Alfred just raised his eyebrow. Of course he knew. He's Alfred.

Jason's POV
After breakfast, we went up to my room to talk. I flopped on my bed and Bruce sat in the wheelie chair across from me. "So, you're a werewolf." He said.
"Yep." I said.
"Does it cause any weaknesses?"
"Other than being irritable and antsy the day before and after the full moon, pure silver will slowly burn me and wolfsbane makes me very sick."
"Strengths?"
"Stronger, faster, more stamina, more agile, and have better senses than normal humans."
"Alright. How long have you been a werewolf?"
"Years. Not my whole life, but years." I said. "B… are… are we… okay? Can I still stay here?" I asked, stuttering, closing my eyes and waiting for the worst.
"Of course, Jason." Bruce said, pulling me into a hug. "You will always be welcome here; always." He hugged me tighter as I trembled with relief.
"Th-that's why I n-never told you… I was afraid you'd k-kick me ou-out." I stuttered out.
"God, Jason. Of course not! You're my son and nothing could ever change that." Bruce said, kissing the top of my head.
"I-I'm tired…" I said. The transformation always takes a lot out of me so I'm always exhausted the day after.
"Go to sleep, son. Everything's alright." Bruce's voice said as I fell asleep.

A Year Later, Dick's POV
"I can't believe you're Dick Grayson!" Beast Boy yelled, again.
"You've had the whole flight here to get used to it." I said back, rolling my eyes as we pulled up to Wayne Manor. We grabbed our bags and I knocked on the door.
"My word! You've grown so much, Master Richard! You should have told us that you were leaving! We were worried sick!" Alfred yelled, pulling me into a hug and scolding me.
"Sorry, Alfred. I was just so mad, I didn't really think before I left." I said as Alfred led us inside.
"You must be the Teen Titans. It is wonderful to meet friends of Master Richard's." Alfred said, leading us into one of the living rooms.
"Right. This is Beast Boy, Cyborg, Raven, and my girlfriend, Starfire." I introduced them.
"It is a pleasure to meet you." Alfred said.
"Alfred, I'm going to-… uh, hi." A boy said, as he came running down the stairs and poking his head into the room.
"Who are you?!" I asked, staring at him in confusion.
"I'm Jason, Jason Todd. You must be Dick." He said, staring at me with piercing green eyes.
"Yeah, Dick Grayson. What're you doing here?" I asked.
"Master Bruce adopted Master Jason around two years ago." Alfred said. What?!
"So, he replaced me." I growled, glaring at 'Jason' with all the anger I'd had directed at Bruce for so long.
"Look, I'm no one's replacement! I-" Jason started yelling.
"Smells like a wolf…?" Beast Boy said, confused.
Jason glared at him. "What the hell are you talking about? I don't smell like a wolf!"
"Just a bit… Just like… oh my God, you're a werewolf!" Beast Boy yelled. Jason flinched back like he'd been hit and that's when I knew Beast Boy was right.
"So, Bruce got a mutt to replace me? Ha! I wonder how long he'll keep you around before returning you." I said. He can't replace me! Especially with someone with powers! Jason suddenly jumped at me, grabbing my throat and growling like the animal he is. A large hand suddenly grabbed Jason and pulled him off me.
"Jason, calm down. I know the full moon is tonight, but you need to calm down." Bruce said, holding Jason against him. Jason slowly calmed down and Bruce let go, but then Jason ran away and into the house. Bruce turned his piercing blue eyes on me. "Dick, I'm glad you're home, but I would appreciate it if you would stop being mean to your brother."
"You replaced me with a werewolf! You're letting him be Robin! He's not my brother!" I yelled back.
"Look, I don't have time to explain everything right now because I have to go stop Jason from running away because of you, so I'll explain later." Bruce said, jogging up the stairs towards the rooms.
"Master Richard, I'd hoped I'd taught you better than to act like that." Alfred said, shaking his head and walking towards the kitchen.
Suddenly, loud screaming came from upstairs. We all immediately ran up the stairs and to the room that was now, apparently, Jason's. I slammed the door open to see Jason's head on Bruce's lap, screaming as his body changed shape. Bruce looked up and yelled over Jason's screams "He got too angry! The anger caused him to change early!" Jason writhed in pain, hair starting to grow all over him and I could see his teeth sharpening and getting longer. When the change was finally complete, I was staring at a 5 foot tall wolf. "Jason?" Bruce asked, stroking the top of his head. Jason whined and buried his head into Bruce's lap. Bruce laughed and said "I guess that means you aren't very angry anymore." Jason let out a low, threatening growl which made Bruce look at him with concern. He used to look at me like that…
Vibrant green eyes opened and looked straight at me, showing a deep anger and trying to hide the hurt. I slowly walked over, ignoring his growls and Bruce's warning look, and knelt down next to him. "I'm sorry. I know I've been a jerk to you and I had no right to say what I said. You're not why I'm upset or who I'm upset with. I feel like I've been replaced and I'm sorry for taking that out on you." I told Jason. He nudged my arm with his nose. "Does that mean you forgive me?" I asked, hopefully. He nodded. It looked weird. "Thanks, Jay."
By this time, the sun had set and the moon was starting to rise. Jay got up and looked out the window at the stars. "Let me go change, then we'll go out, okay?" Bruce said, patting Jason on the head. Jason nodded eagerly and began to push Bruce out the door. "Alright, alright, I'll hurry." Bruce laughed.
"Do you mind if I come too?" I asked, afraid he'd say no. Instead, he nodded and… well, I assume it was a grin.
"Great,-" BB started to say before being elbowed by Raven.
"We'll stay here." Raven said, giving a slight nod and small smile.
"Try to keep those two out of trouble?" I asked her, motioning towards BB and Cyborg.
"Hey!" Jason winced as they both protested loudly.
"Be quiet, you're hurting his ears." I said, glaring at them.
"I'll keep them out of trouble." Raven said, grabbing BB and Cy by the ears and pulling them out of the room, Star right behind them.
Once Bruce got back, we went into the woods surrounding the Manor. It was the best night I've had in a while.

Dick's POV, A Few Months Later
It feels good to be part of the family again. Every other full moon, I go back to Gotham to spend time with B and Jason. Jay and I have gotten much closer and I finally found out how B found him ("Stealing the wheels off the batmobile… seriously?!" "Hey, they would've sold for plenty! Besides, I never said it was smart!"). I've come to see what Bruce said he saw in him: a good kid who grew up in a bad situation. I'm getting close to my Gotham friends, mainly Babs, again too. Every time I go back to Gotham, Jay, Babs, and I go to see a movie the day after the full moon. Jason usually sleeps in really late and eats a lot those days… Seriously, where does he put all that food?! Well, I'm glad we aren't fighting anymore… at least not serious fights. We goof around and rough house until Alfred gives us The Raised Eyebrow Of Doom. Jason's happy that he has somewhere to go whenever he and B get in a big fight. They argue quite a bit sometimes and, since they're both so stubborn, the fights can get bad quick. Whenever Jay needs to get away, he comes to Titans Tower and stays with us for a day or two, ranting to me about what this fight was about and calming down, before heading back to Gotham. It feels good to have a little brother.
