We left the roof a little later, I hadn't forgotten that I was supposed to meet Jonathon after his practise.

"I'll see you tomorrow." I kissed Sebastian on the cheek at the school gate, "I'll be fine from here."

"Try not to get a football thrown at your face; I quite like the way it is right now." He replied, his hand softly cradling my cheek before leaving me to find my way to the pitch.

I arrived just as they were finishing up, Simon was nowhere to be seen. Jonathon had a towel between his hands, he seemed surprised to see me.

He swore, "Sorry, I completely forgot."

"What's wrong?" I asked, taking another step towards him.

"I got a detention for being late to class, I can't take you home." He apologised.

"It's not your fault Jonathon." I pressed, "I can get home by myself." Although I didn't want to.

"No, no. Jace," He looked up for him. Jace glanced up from his bag and looked between the two of us, "Can you take Clary home?"

"Of course." He smiled, "You ready for the ride of your life?" His grin was wolfish.

I rolled my eyes, smiling, "Let's just go Herondale," And began to walk towards the car park. He ran after me and slipped his fingers through mine, I jumped at the sudden contact.

"Jace, I don't think-"

"Clary." He interrupted me, his voice edged desperation "Just let me hold your hand." I looked down at our hands, intertwined and said nothing.

We reached the car and as soon as I had sat in it with my seat belt buckled, he claimed my hand again. Even whilst driving, he let go of the steering wheel if he had to use the other hand for something, his grip on my hand unwavering.

I wanted to say something, but couldn't bring myself to interrupt his persistence.

"Wait, where are we going?" The words fell from my lips as I glanced out the window, we had been driving for a while now and I didn't recognise the setting.

"Clary, what are you doing with Sebastian?" The sound of his voice sent me spinning in my seat to look straight at him. I gasped to see a couple tears running down his cheeks, his expression wrecked.

"Jace…"I trailed off, leaning over to wipe away the wetness.

"I can't stand this Clary, I need to know." His voice shook, his eyes stayed straight on the road.

"Jace." I repeated gently, "I don't understand."

"I need you Clary, I love you." He finally, strayed a glance at me. His eyes were so deep and painful; the normal golden tinge replaced with a foggy brown.

"You don't know what you're saying, you don't know me-"

He suddenly swerved the car, sending us ricocheting into a random field. I flew forward, only my arm stopped my head colliding with the dashboard, "Jace!" I exclaimed, pushing my hair away from my face.

When I managed to clear my face, I found his inches from mine.

"Don't lie to me." He breathed, his hands finding their way around my waist. I glanced down to see his seatbelt had unclipped.

"I- I'm not." His hands explored their way up my back, lingering where I had gotten some stitches, "Jace? I don't-"

"You have to be completely honest." My breath hitched when his hands found the back of my neck, I felt very conscious that his lips were only centimetres from mine.

"About what?" I whispered.

"This." He replied and his lips crashed down on mine. This kiss wasn't soft or gentle. His passion was obvious and bursting colourfully all over my body and his hands slipped into my hair and down my arms.

I didn't- couldn't think, all I think was Jace, Jace, Jace.

I could taste his tears and the sweat on his cheeks and I could smell the exact soap he used, but he didn't seem to think we were close enough.

Eventually, he pulled away. We were both panting, somehow my seatbelt had come loose too.

"And now." He said between breaths, "You have to… tell me honestly… what you felt."

So this was pretty short, I'm sorry. You guys asked for Clace in the hordes so much so I started to feel the angry pitchforks and blazing torches coming out haha Anyway, I hope this chapter was able to satisfy some of your needs and please give me some feedback!
