Chapter 29: Saturday, Kurara double?!

No One's POV:

"Ah, that was a good shopping spree." Rangiku sighed, clutching about four bags full of clothes and shoes.

"Now I see why you dragged me all the way from home just for this. That was a pretty good sale." Rukia commented, her hands also full of bags.

"I know right. There's another sale just downtown and it's…" Rangiku stopped in her tracks.

"Rangiku? What's the matt…Hmph!" Rangiku cut her off by slamming her hand on her mouth and dragged her behind a wall.

"Shhh, look." Rangiku pointed out in front of them. What they saw was a few men lying on the ground, quite beaten up. "Who would do such a…"

"Now look here pal. If you ever dare challenge me again, I'm gonna do even more damage to you and your pathetic team. Got that?!" a young girl screamed while gripping the collar of a beaten leader. He whimpered with a nod and she let him go, letting the man get away.

"Wow, she's strong wonder who she…" both gasped when the girl turned towards them. Long black hair tied into a ponytail, red tank top and denim shorts with white sneakers. And her face…Kurara?! Both stared at her, absolutely stunned.

"Ku…Kurara?! What…How…Why?!"Rukia stuttered, looking at Rangiku and back at the girl.

"I…I don't know! Whatever it is…We gotta get to Ichigo's place this instant!" Rangiku declared and grabbed Rukia's wrist and dashed off to the boys' home.

At home:

"Kurosaki! Get the door." Hitsugaya exclaimed, looking back and forth from his textbooks and writing on his notes.

"You're closer to the door aren't you? Why can't you get it?" Ichigo complained as he walked down the stairs, taking out his earplugs.

"Unlike you, I'm doing something useful, so I'm letting you use your time well." Hitsugaya answered, not leaving his eyes on the book.

"Damn you. You're just lazy to get up." Ichigo muttered. But the constant knocking on the door made him even more annoyed. "Ok, ok, I'm coming so stop with the knocking!" he cried out as he dragged his feet to the door. "Who the…"

"Where is she?!" Rangiku cried out as she busted through the door, making Ichigo fall with a loud thud. "Spill! Where is she?!" she continued to shout as Rukia slowly followed behind.

"The question should be 'Why the hell are you guys doing here?!'" Ichigo screamed, rubbing the back of his head. Hitsugaya finally looked up from his notes.

"Just tell me where Kurara is!" Rangiku said.

"Kurara? She went out to drop off some things." Ichigo slowly answered. Rangiku and Rukia looked at each other, a little frightened. "Why'd ask?"

"Because…"

"Rangiku? Rukia? What are you guys doing here?" everyone turned towards the door and saw Kurara standing there. "Ichigo, why are you on the ground?" she asked, looking down at Ichigo. Rangiku walked right up to Kurara and surveyed her. "Uhm…Rangiku?" Rangiku looked at the girl in front of her. She was wearing a white blouse, a short pink skirt, brown boots and her hair was let down.

"Uh, Kurara. Did you have a super-fast make over?" she asked.

"Huh? What are you talking about?" Kurara asked.

"Nevermind that. Where have you been?" Rukia cut in.

"Where? Out with Kasandora. I was helping get some ingredients for our CCA." Kurara answered.

"You sure you didn't go elsewhere. Maybe got caught by a bunch of men?" Rukia dug deeper.

"Uh, no. Why are you even asking me this?" Kurara asked staring at the two girls as they thought hard.

"Oh nothing, nevermind. Anyways, let's all go shopping! There's a new sale that's just calling my name!" Rangiku cheerfully said as she dragged Kurara out, leaving the two boys staring as they left.

"Uh…What just happened?" Ichigo asked.

"Dunno, but who cares." Hitsugaya replied, looking back into his notes.

Next day:

"GUYS! YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE WHAT WE SAW!" Rangiku screamed as she barged into the house, scaring the life out of the three men.

"What the hell Rangiku! A simple knock would have been better!" Ichigo exclaimed.

"But this was urgent. Show them Rukia!" Rangiku cried out as Rukia stepped forward and played a recording on her phone. It was a video of a young girl thrashing off a bunch of goons. In the end it was to get back an old lady's purse from them.

"Ok, a girl beats up some men to help an old lady. What's so urgent about that?" Hitsugaya retorted.

"Look again." Rangiku urged. The girl turned towards them, and showed a face familiar to all. The three men gasped.

"WHAT?! Kurara! What…How…Why?!" Ichigo stuttered.

"Wow, you had the exact reaction as Rukia when she saw this. Anyways first things first, where is Kurara?" Rangiku asked as if interrogating them.

"Out…" that simple word made everyone tremble.

"We gotta find her!" Ichigo cried out and everyone left the house.

Outside:

"Ok, I know we can't let Kurara see us. But seriously, that's too much!" Ichigo compained, looking at Rangiku's and Rukia's weird disguises.

"Hush up, we know what we're doing." Rangiku assured but none of the guys bought it. "Oh there she is!" Then they saw the same girl walking down the lane. "Ok, all we have to do if that really is Kurara before…"

"Hey you!" they then turned and saw a few men coming her way. "Heard you beat up my gang."

"Well, they started it. Not a very good gang I have to say considering that it took only ten minutes to pummel them to the bones." She replied uninterested.

"That's it! You're gonna pay for what you did!" And the leader was about to punch her in the face. The guys were about to step in, but then she caught the fist before it got any closer to her.

"I really don't think you should do that. But too late." She gave an evil smirk and twisted the guy's wrist, making him yelp in pain and crouch to the ground. "Anyone else wanna give it a shot?" she stated proudly. And soon all of them charged forward. The girl swiftly dodged them and returned them with punches and kicks. Everyone just stared in shock and fear as they saw the battle. In a few minutes time, the girl got all the men scampering away.

"That was epic." Ichigo whispered.

"I know you guys are behind there." She suddenly said, making everyone flinch. "Come on out cowards." She shouted. The gang had no choice but to follow the girl's orders. Once they stepped out they saw a little shock in her eyes. "You guys don't seem to be like those boys just now."

"Of course we're not Kurara." Ichigo complained, making her give a confused look.

"Kurara? I think you have me mistaken." She chuckled.

"But…"

"It's true." Everyone looked at Kuchiki sensei. "Her eyes…They're not the same as Kurara's." he continued, staring at her. She gave a soft chuckle.

"I have to say, I'm impressed. Not many people can tell me and her apart." She praised.

"Wait, you know who we're talking about?" Rukia asked.

"Duh! Where is there any other girl who looks like me?" she inquired.

"Sheriru?!" everyone turned around and saw the real Kurara standing there in shock.

"Yo, nice to see you again." The girl named Sheriru replied, raising her right hand. Rangiku then gave a loud gasp.

"I knew it! You guys look exactly alike. Like twins!" she exclaimed.

"Uh actually Rangiku, we're not twins. This is Haruno Sheriru, my cousin." Kurara explained.

"Cousins? Well that makes sense." Hitsugaya replied.

"Yeah, but what are you doing here?" Kurara asked her look-alike.

"Family business. Better if I tell you alone." She said, but Kurara seemed to know what she meant. "Anyway, it's nice to finally meet the people you so often talk about."

"Really, what does she say about us?" Rangiku asked, suddenly getting all jumpy.

"Well about school days, trips and something about her cr…" before she could say anymore, Kurara quickly grasped her mouth tightly.

"Nothing, just about what we do." She insisted.

"Oh don't worry Kurara. I know what she was gonna say." Rangiku smirked, making Kurara nervous. Nothing escapes her.

"Anyway, since you seem to have no plans, would you like to join us for dinner?" Kuchiki sensei asked, making everyone shocked that he gave such an offer.

"Sure thing." Then Sheriru whispered to Kurara. "You know, he ain't that silent after all." Making Kurara sigh. In the end, everyone joined in for dinner, having a nice chit chat.

One new family member of Kurara's comes in, but a secret of her family will soon be revealed.

That's the end. It's kind of lame but it's all I can do. I'll also take this time to say that updates will be a little slow since school work is rising. Please be patient. Thx for supporting.
