Miroku went to his knees and held his hand screaming. Sango rushed and put her hands on his back. "Miroku!"

He stopped, but his body still shook.

"Miroku." Sango whispered.

"What happened?!" Inuyasha questioned, now standing close to his friend.

"My hand," Miroku said and slowly undid his beads. His hand was closed, but he slowly opened it.

The hole was gone.

They all gasped.

"What does this mean?" Miroku questioned, "Another cruel trick?"

"No trick." The God of Wisdom stated. "As if we would allow anyone other than the holy to keep the jewel."

"What's that mean?!" Inuyasha snapped.

"It was simple, we took them back and just now his heart was crushed."

"But how?" Kagome asked.

"The Moon Mother, of course." The Goddess of Friendship said. "We told her what to do and now, it is done."

"But how did she know when to do it?" Kagome asked.

"The jewel shards disappeared and reappeared here." The Goddess of Courage said as she stood and walked closer. "And now, my dear sister, are you ready to take your place?"

"My place?"

Everyone looked at the seat she was in. "Um, Kagome?" Sango spoke, making Kagome look down then back up. "I- I don't understand."

"Hold out the jewel." Courage spoke and watched as Kagome held the jewel in her hand. One by one, purple, pink and orange mixed with green. Power swirled around Kagome, making her glow. She felt peaceful, happy, calm, excited.

"You have come back to us." Courage whispered. "You, Goddess of Time and Earth."

The light faded, they pulled their hands back and everyone watched as the jewel floated high and laid back in Kagome's chest.

"How do you feel?" Wisdom asked.

"Okay, I'm not tired anymore."

He smiled, "That is because you have claimed your immortality again."

"What?!" She gasped.

"Silly Miko, you are the fourth goddess, we are immortal!" Friendship said. "That is why you are no longer tired."

"But, but my mother and my family?"

Courage smiled. "Fear not, you now control the well with a wave of your hand. Though, we do stress great caution to it."

She understood that. It was amazing Naraku never found out about it. She was highly doubtful the demon could get past it, but still.

Kagome slowly looked to her mate whose golden eyes were hard on her.

"So that's it, Naraku is gone just like that?" Inuyasha was a little skeptical. "Why did you wait this long to take action? I mean, not that I'm complaining or nothing."

Everyone gave him a flat look, he was complaining.

The God of Wisdom spoke. "Do you have a wish half-breed?"

"A wish?" He turned to Kikyo then back. "You- you are gunna grant me one?"

"Not I, but her." He pointed to Kagome. "She has that power."

Kagome gasped and Inuyasha quickly looked at her and moved.

He knelt at her feet and grabbed her hands, Kagome smiled.

"What is your wish?" Courage asked.

"Make Kikyo human."

"And you, what would you wish for if Kagome grants you life?" The Goddess of Courage asked Kikyo.

Kikyo looked at Inuyasha, they all knew. Kagome looked down, "Inuyasha, I know you wanted to become a full demon, but if Kikyo becomes human -"

"Then I'll become human too."

It was the first time ever that Kikyo's face showed pure emotion. Her cheeks flushed, her lips parted.

"How do I do it?" Kagome asked, not taking her eyes off Inuyasha.

"Just see it and make it so." Courage stated.

Kagome closed her eyes and saw Kikyo's heartbeat, and then, it was.
