Author's Note: I am in my glory...a happy storyline AND a ton of dresses to go with it? Oh, the mind reels. (Oh, and bknbu, keep your eyes open for shoes! St. Jimmy is making an appearance outside of "GMN"!)

To FroofyB - Got your message, girl. I hope things start looking up for you soon. And don't worry about reviewing; as long as I'm still keeping you entertained, then that's all that matters.

To Emie Mac - No, there's NEVER trouble as far as those two are concerned! I have to tell you, I adored Sydney and am looking forward to going back. It was not only amazing, but it gave me great desire to write!

To WarzonePrez - Oh, my partner in crime, Merla is a smart woman. She is cunning and crafty...and above all, PATIENT. The queen may not even come into full play in this book, but I have many plans for her down the road.

To bknbu - BELLA! I felt for Brent, which is why I posted "Demons" before the last chapter. Other than that, I am so excited to get to the party...AND to hear about what you think of these outfits! XOXO

To Smithy - I am keeping this story at a "T" rating. BUT the reason is b/c I am in the midst of drafting a K/A wedding-night side story which will be rated "M." I promise you, K/A will have their romantic wedding night. I just hope I don't get booted off FFN for it.

To Petronille - Darling, every now and then, you can't help but want to see them all happy. Now, who's making the Kir Royales? I hope you're mixing. I'll supply the ingredients.

To Cubbie - I ADORED Sydney! And it's probably a good thing you didn't fly in, seeing as how those fires really put a damper on things. Please kiss your little one for me (you know I've got my fingers crossed for her). And don't worry about Keith & Allura...now that they're married, they're staying that way!

To Wade Wells - LOVEY! WE MADE IT! And yes, Pidge is going to make a move (much to Daniel's chagrin). But hey, as long as K/A are happy, who are we to complain? XOXO

Title Song: "On Top of the World" by Imagine Dragons (such a fun song!)

Sven clung to Romelle as they made their way to the appointed table. Dressed in his classic black tuxedo, he felt dizzy, warm and light-headed. He felt weak, as though he was on the verge of getting sick, but he knew it wasn't an illness. It was the Haggarium infection, ready to boil over at any moment.

This would be the worst possible moment.

Trying to calm himself, he looked over at his wife. She looked absolutely stunning - the curves of her body were outlined in a clingy cap-sleeved aquamarine silk-jersey gown which matched her eyes, and she was nearly as tall as he was in her sparkling champagne-colored peep-toed slingbacks. He wasn't sure if her loveliness soothed him, but at least she took his mind off the Haggarium.

"Viking! At least I know someone at this table!" he heard Jeff's voice cry out.

Sven looked around their assigned table - the family table. Nanny and Coran were already seated there; the advisor looked smashing in his own tuxedo, the head nursemaid was uncharacteristically lovely in a deep indigo-blue silk sheath dress with matching duster jacket and black pointy-toed patent leather pumps. Professor Sarwa took his place next to Coran, with Allura's Aunt Orla sitting next to him. The elder royal looked beautiful in her rose-pink silk crepe gown, accessorized by elegant matte silver cross-toe d'Orsay pumps.

His eyes then wandered over to Jeff, who patted the empty seat next to him. Christiane sat on his other side, looking resplendent in a sleeveless silvery-grey chiffon gown, sultry with its fitted bodice and low sweetheart neckline. She flashed the Norwegian a genuinely pleased smile, and rushed up quickly to greet him. She stood markedly taller in her strappy silver platform heels.

"Seer," he greeted her with a smile, "you look beautiful. It's good to see you again."

"Likewise, Sven. You look very handsome yourself." She reached out and encircled him with her arms, hugging him and planting a kiss on his cheek. Immediately, she pulled away with an obvious expression of alarm on your face. "You're not feeling well."

"Ikke." He shook his head; there was no point in lying to a seer. Dropping his voice, he whispered into his ear, "It's the Haggarium infection. Pidge and Vince tried to come up with an antidote, and it worked for a while, but…"

"But now it's stopped working." She nodded her head in understanding. "Oh, Sven."

He kissed her forehead. "Don't worry, Christiane," he tried to assure her. "I'm feeling as well as can be expected. I won't ruin the wedding for your brother and Allura." When she darted a dubious expression at him, he countered, "Trust me, I'm fine."

She didn't believe him.

Prince Erimar always enjoyed any occasion where he was seated with the beautiful Queen Clarissa of Planet Exxus. The two of them went back many years; she had been betrothed to his older brother Erkhon before the Zarkonian Wars. Of course, both families had been decimated during battle, leaving Clarissa not only an orphan in charge of ruling her planet as well as caring for her two younger siblings, but without a fiancé.

And, of course, that left him bereft of his brother.

He and Clarissa always laughed together. Often, he wondered if she would ever marry, or if he should go ahead and assume his brother's role and make her his wife. After all, the queen was easy on the eyes. With her porcelain skin, bee-stung lips and full mahogany mane, she was a vision almost too beautiful to be real. And dressed in that form-fitting teal gown, with its leather bodice and deep neckline, accompanied by side-caged black sandals with the subtlest hint of shimmer, she might as well have been a goddess.

"As much as I had my doubts, they look good together, eh?" Clarissa inclined her head towards her sister and brother-in-law, seated with Romelle and Sven at the family table. Emma, though not as beautiful as her older sister, looked lovely in her strapless blue-and-white organza gown, imprinted with a floral pattern, and sparkling ivory satin peep-toed heels with a bow over the toe. "Emmie is head-over-heels in love with Bandor." She tossed back half a glass of Arusian white wine in one gulp. "I used to feel that way about your brother. Maybe one day I'll feel that way again."

Erimar glanced over at the Polluxian royal couple, then placed his hand on Clarissa's thigh. "I'm sure you will, my dear. I'm waiting to feel that way myself." Romelle surely can't count, can she? She chose to go back to her husband, despite how miserable she is with him. No, she doesn't count.

"Well, I think I'm at the right table. Hello, my name is Delphine. It's nice to meet you."

Clarissa and Erimar looked up at the third person in their midst. Though not as outwardly beautiful as the queen of Exxus, she was still lovely. Dressed conservatively in a black long-sleeved draped-jersey gown and strappy, glittery black heels with a bow over the toe, she was still a vision of loveliness. The prince of Tyvel motioned to the empty seat next to him. "Please, Delphine, have a seat."

The woman with the deep-brown eyes and shiny sable hair sat down next to him. "I am Prince Erimar of Planet Tyvel, and over here, this is my friend Queen Clarissa of Exxus."

Clarissa leaned over his lap and clasped the newcomer's hand warmly. "Lady Delphine of Planet Scilos, yes? Younger sister of Prince Xandre?"

"That would be me."

"Well, it's a pleasure to meet you in person. Most of my dealings with Scilos have been with either your father or your brother." She snorted. "It figures that they would send you as their representative to Arus for this event. I mean, they don't want to use you for the bigger matters, but for a royal wedding? You can handle that."

Delphine giggled. "Exactly. I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed."

A slight smile curled on Erimar's lips as he watched and listened to the interaction between the two royal women. For some reason, he felt an unbelievable connection to Delphine, and he was sure that, in her own way, Clarissa could feel it too, and was encouraging it. Though it pleased him, he knew he couldn't put any moves on the Lady of Scilos just yet. He had other tasks to attend to first.

Keith couldn't believe how beautiful his bride looked. If he thought she was the epitome of loveliness at their wedding ceremony...well, she had just outdone herself for their reception.

Allura's second dress was simpler, but still regal. She wore a form-fitting column of white silk-satin, with a neckline and cap sleeves made out of jewels and metals in an intricate openly-woven design. A chapel-length train of silk gauze attached at the dress right below her shoulder blades and elegantly fell to the floor. Her head was devoid of any adornments, but in a cheeky twist, on her feet she wore yellow satin sandals with a crystal-trimmed coronet over the toe.

He felt as though he was on top of the world as he escorted her to the head table. Pidge, Larmina, Lance and Ginger were all there already, seated and rehashing the ceremony. Pidge and Lance both looked handsome in their tuxedos - naturally, Lance's accessories were red, and Pidge's were green. Ginger looked positively seductive in a sultry, clingy carnelian-red sleeveless gown with a high round neck, accessorized by black patent leather strappy sandals and her new diamond-and-garnet non-engagement ring.

As for Larmina, the new Blue Lion pilot wore a gown of emerald green, with a bodice of crinkled pleats and a thin metallic belt around her waist. On her finger, she wore a gift bestowed upon her by the bride from the Royal Treasury: a large faceted blue topaz flanked by small pavé diamonds. Of course, in true Larmina fashion, she wore sneakers on her feet - sneakers with black ribbon laces and covered in gold glitter, but sneakers nonetheless.

Allura tried to keep the grin off her face as she noticed her niece's choice in footwear. Then, turning her head, she took note of how good Lance and Ginger looked together and how well they complemented each other. It's too bad they don't want to get married. Now that would have been a fun wedding to attend.

She turned her attention back to the groom when he took her hand and led it to his lips. Looking up at him, she let the smile spread over her face, and she heard cheers as glasses began clinking. Looking over Keith's shoulder, she noticed Lance being the instigator, tapping his spoon against his water goblet and starting the chimes to force them to kiss.

"You don't have to force me into kissing him, McClain," Allura retorted happily as she leaned in to plant one on Keith's lips. She was so happy. Overjoyed was probably a better word for it. She had waited so long for this...all of this. She'd waited so long for Zarkon and Lotor to be defeated, for Arus to rebuild and flourish, and for this. This man, this relationship, this wedding.

She was on top of the world.

Winking at the happily-married couple, Lance spied a certain queen out of the corner of his eye. He stood up quickly, grabbing his date's arm and yanking her up with him.

"Lance! What the heck?" Ginger cried out.

"Come with me." He looked uncharacteristically serious. "There's someone here that I'd like you to meet."

Linking his hand with hers, Lance escorted Ginger over to a table full of royals and visiting guests. Remo of Torres, Milan of Titus, Abi Tohan of Yadl, and Senator Roland of Oron were seated with their dates, conversing and catching up on gossip, when Lance approached the lone female at the table and bowed. "Your Majesty," he greeted her.

"Sargeant McClain." She lifted her hand up, and he brought it to his lips for a kiss. "It's been some time since I've last seen you. You're a sight for my old eyes."

"Stop right there, your Majesty. I won't have you calling yourself old. It doesn't become a beautiful woman like you." He looked over at his girlfriend. "Queen Anadora, I'd like for you to meet my partner in life, Sargeant Ginger Ellington."

The queen showed off her famous hospitality as she gently clasped Ginger's outstretched hand. Dressed in a sleek long-sleeved gold lace gown which complemented her red skin and platinum-blond hair, with champagne-colored glittered crisscross slingbacks on her feet, she exuded regality and class. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Sargeant Ellington. I am Queen Anadora of Planet Brann."

"The pleasure is mine, your Majesty." Ginger inclined her head.

Anadora's face turned to the pilot's left hand, adorned with a familiar ring. She shot a sneaky smile up at Lance. "So, this is the girl you deemed worthy," she murmured her approval. "She is quite lovely, Sargeant McClain."

"Well," Lance offered flirtatiously, "you are quite lovely as well, your Majesty."

"Oh, stop lying...but thank you for trying to flatter me." She winked at him, her eyes slowly shifting back and forth between Ginger's ring - the ring she had gifted upon the Red Lion pilot - and Lance's expression. She knew that Lance had deemed this woman worthy, not only of that beautiful piece of jewelry, but of sharing his life with her.

And from the way the two pilots looked adoringly at each other, she could tell that they thought the same thing.

"Oh, my head is spinning! I hope you're taking notes for our wedding, Aidan. I want our reception to be just as grand as this!"

At the intimate six-seat "Albegas Table" - well, that was what they nicknamed it, anyway - Lisa sat next to her fiancé, taking in the ambience and making mental notes of what she wanted to replicate for her own wedding. Clad in a light-blue boatneck tank gown with a black floral pattern, accessorized by black satin knotted slingback sandals and her stunning aquamarine engagement ring, the Sea Team member was in her full glory.

"Oh God. I can't afford anything like this." The Albegas captain buried his face in his hands.

"Cheer up, old chap." David elbowed Aidan with an uncharacteristically silly look on his face. "If Morgan and I could come up with the funds for a wedding, then you and Lisa can do it, too." He glanced around the ballroom again. "Just not for something on as big a scale as this."

Without looking up from his hands, Aidan sent his teammate a not-so-polite gesture with his middle finger.

David threw back his head and laughed. Morgan followed suit.

Morgan looked unbelievably sexy in her bright violet body-conscious gown with directional cutouts and sheer insets, and the high black satin d'Orsay pumps with the crystal-encrusted, sculptured golden bow over the peep-toed vamp did nothing to tamp down her sensuality. On her, with those glowing violet eyes and that shiny black hair, shot with threads of aubergine and cerulean, the ensemble looked nothing short of astonishing.

When David had finally stopped laughing, he placed his hand on his wife's upper thigh. "It's too bad," he quipped, setting his gaze on Taye across the table from him, "that Aidan and Lisa won't elope like the two of you did."

Lisa leaned over and lightly pinched the Blue Mecha pilot on the forearm. "Hey! Why are you instigating, Rackens?"

"Yeah. Gods, if you'd known Lisa as long as your wife and I have, you'd know that she's been planning her wedding practically since her first day at the Academy," Kelly teased. The First Officer also looked radiant, clad in a sensuous black crepe gown with angled lace insets around her torso and back. With glittery satin sandals on her feet, her beautiful rose-gold love knot wedding band, and her ashy-blond curls cascading past her shoulders, she too was a vision of loveliness. "I think this girl has been waiting to get married for over half her life now."

"You know, Kell," Lisa shot out good-naturedly, chucking her napkin across the table at the Bajan, "if we hadn't been friends for the same amount of time I've been planning my wedding, I might have killed you for that comment."

The table erupted into laughter - even Aidan came out from hiding behind his hands to crack up at the comment. Smiling, he turned to his fiancée and placed his hand over hers. No, he knew they'd never be able to afford something along the lines of their old friend Keith's wedding, but they would have something just as memorable. Better to enjoy this royal wedding while they could.

The Voltron Vehicle Force was too large to be confined to one, or even two, tables. Four tables were allowed for the large crew, and even then, some of the bridge staff opted out of attending the wedding, preferring instead to stay aboard the docked Explorer and keep an eye out for security purposes. It was a noble cause, but since there were so many guests at this wedding - guests that the bride and groom themselves did not know and might not have ever known were in attendance - they were not missed.

The head of the bridge crew - namely Hawkins, Newley and Sparks - were seated at the first table. Lenora sat next to Jon, with Hunk and Cinda right next to her. Cliff sat next to Cinda, and Chip and Rocky sat on his other side. Rounding out their table was the blond, bespectacled member of the bridge crew.

Lenora and Cinda were the only two females present at that table, and they both looked gorgeous, enough so that their respective dates kept them within arm's length at all times. The Miran Land Team member showed off her enviable curves in a glorious gown, a silk satin and chiffon confection in a teal blue that offset her blue skin perfectly. To display the floral ruffle on her right shoulder, she'd pulled her long blue hair - gone were the days that she hacked it off to fit beneath her helmet - into an elegant bun. She wore simple black patent-leather ankle-strap sandals on her feet, which showcased the fancy French pedicure on her toes, all shades of dark and light blue to match her dress.

The Space Marshal, on the other hand, went the opposite of beautiful, striving for sultry instead. She wore a clingy black jersey-knit gown which skimmed over her silhouette, held up by a leather choker around her neck. Her black pedicure was exploited by super-high patent-leather peep-toed heels in a deep reddish-black color. In addition to her Tiffany engagement ring, wedding band, and solitaire stud earrings, she wore a naughty cocktail ring on the middle finger of her right hand, made up of a line of seven large pearls in differing sizes.

Her husband seemed amused by the ring's sensual nature, but no one else noticed.

"So," Cliff began, looking over at the other three tables, "I feel like the crew of the Explorer, as a whole, takes up a bigger chunk of the guests than anything else." He made a face. "Unless, of course, you count the amount of guests who neither the bride nor the groom knows."

"Yes. That sounds about right," Cinda agreed, looking over at Hunk. The large engineer could have felt out of place at the table, but surrounded by a few friends and a woman on either side of him, he seemed secure. With a wink, he reached for his date's hand, causing her to blush slightly.

Lenora cleared her throat, wanting to take the focus off the budding romance between her friends. "So Cliff," she tossed out casually, "who will you be dancing with tonight?"

The Australian grinned. "Well, I was hoping I would get a chance with you, Len -"

Jon shot him a quick look.

"- but I figured, since she and I were dance partners at the Academy, I would borrow Kelly from Taye." He winked back at Jon. "That is, of course, as long as her husband is less overprotective of her than the commander over here is of you."

Rich snickered behind his hand. "The crew, they've got you pegged, Jon."

The commander narrowed his dark eyes at his friend, but said nothing. Lenora soothingly placed her pearl-clad hand over his.

Chip cleared his throat. "Hey, I think the first dance is starting," he pointed out, changing the subject. "I think Keith and Allura start, and then Lance comes in with Ginger, and Larmina cuts in with Darrell." From the look on his face, it was obvious that he knew how his twin brother felt about the new Blue Lion pilot. It was only a matter of time.

With his bride in his arms, Keith felt complete. He felt whole, something he hadn't felt since that horrible day that his parents died. Every piece of him was put back together in its proper place. Every fiber of his heart had been stitched back together.

He wasn't perfect, but it didn't matter. He was perfect for Allura. And Allura was perfect for him.

"Can you believe all this?" she whispered into his ear, nuzzling her cheek against his strong jaw. "There are so many people here to help us celebrate. It's unbelievable."

"Yes. It is."

He heard the sound of a spoon clanging against a glass once again - Seriously, McClain? - and lowered his mouth to hers for a kiss. The ballroom full of onlookers cheered, and out of the corner of his eye, he noticed his best man rising to his feet, escorting his date to the dance floor. The red blur from Ginger's dress flashed by them as they waltzed, and suddenly, Pidge and Larmina had joined them. There were three couples dancing, swaying to the music while a crowd of people watched.

Allura noted the way Larmina held onto Pidge as they danced. Her green dress twirled, and her sneakers twinkled. They look happy, and she looks good with Pidge, she mused absently, snuggling against her groom. Maybe we'll be having another royal wedding down the road. Completely content, she closed her eyes and inhaled. Keith smelled wonderful.

She heard abrupt cheering, and Allura's eyes flew open to another couple joining them on the dance floor. Not to be outdone by his brother-in-law, Jeff had swept his wife off her feet and twirled her around until they were right next to the bride and groom. With a wink, he greeted them. "Mind if we cut in?"

Had it been anyone else, Keith might have responded unfavorably, to put it mildly. But because it was his old roommate, he quickly placed a kiss on Allura's hand before spinning her over to Jeff. And as they began to dance, he took Christiane in his arms.

The cheering only intensified, and even the members of their bridal party and their dates stopped to applaud as the groom danced with his sister. "Well, Christy, I think it's obvious that everyone here adores you."

Twirling around in her silver gown, the seer's turquoise eyes glittered with joy. "Or," she countered playfully, "they're all just so happy to see you and Allura married that they're willing to put up with me and Jeff."

He grinned, glancing over at his new wife. Allura looked absolutely enchanted while dancing with Jeff. From the mischievous smile on the Air Team captain's face, he knew that they had to be up to no good. "Hey, Eiko-chan?"

"What is it, Akira-chan?" She looked as though she already knew what he was about to say.

"If your husband is planting any evil suggestions in my wife's ear, I'll have to kill him. I'm sorry if I turn you into a widow."

She laughed, wrapping her arms around her brother's neck and kissing both sides of his face. "I love you, Akira-chan. You're too funny."

He dropped his head until it touched hers and closed his eyes. Dancing with Christiane was different than dancing with Allura. He loved them both, but his sister got him. She forgave him. It didn't matter how many years they'd spent apart or how cruel he had been to her. It didn't matter how flawed they both were. Flawed was beautiful.

Flawed brought his sister back. Flawed brought him Allura.

He knew she could read his thoughts; they must have drifted through her mind like water. With a peaceful sigh, the seer laid her head against her brother's shoulder and savored the moment. No matter what happened, they had this time together. They were able to share this joy and this contentment.

They were able to be simply brother and sister.

At the end of food service, Graff - the official head of the royal kitchen, now that Nanny was retired - approached the bride and groom to ask how their meal was. The dinner had been nothing short of sensational; the multi-coursed meal had consisted of everything from seafood to venison to beef to chicken, all locally raised and accessorized by organic vegetables and flowers.

Of course, the dinner had been incredible, and Graff had been treated to a thunderous round of applause as he bowed to the new queen and her royal consort before retreating back to the kitchen for dessert. As the clapping and shouting died down, the royal photographer approached the royal couple.

"Your Majesties." He inclined his head in a quick nod. "I am about to switch over to candid shots. Before I do, please tell me, are there any posed shots that you need to get? Anything you can think of?"

There had been numerous posed shots, so many that both Keith and Allura thought that their smiles might freeze and fall off their faces. Shots of the two of them...so many shots of the two of them. Shots of them with their bridal party. Shots of them with their families - Jeff and Christiane, Romelle and Bandor, Romelle and Bandor with their spouses, the whole lot of them plus Larmina, and also shots with Coran and Nanny, just Allura and Larmina, just Keith and Christiane, shots of them with the entire Voltron Lion Force. The list was endless.

Allura looked over at Keith blankly. "There's nothing I can think of."

Keith stood up, clearing his throat. Looking unflinchingly at the photographer, he stated, "I need a floor photo."

The photographer frowned. "A what?"

"Just announce it. They'll know what it means."

The photographer nodded unsurely, then turned to face the crowd. At the music stand, he amplified his voice. "The royal consort is requesting a floor photo. He says that those people in it will know who he's referring to."

Ginger grinned, then placed a hand on Lance's shoulder. "He means us, Hottie." She looked over at Pidge. "You too, Shorty. You're in this, too."

Pidge looked shocked. "I am?"

"Yes. Both of you."

At the family table, Jeff grabbed Sven by the shoulders. "Come on, Viking. He means us."

The Norwegian looked confused. "What is a floor photo?"

Jeff sighed. "Think about it, dummy. It's a photo of all of us from the floor. We've got one from everybody's wedding - Morgan's, Len's, mine. It's only fair that we get one from Keith's, too." He grinned. "Except this time, it won't be a partial photo. It'll be all of us."

There was a general consensus of murmurs as they each took their place. In the back row, Keith wrapped one arm around Lance and the other around Jeff. Next to Lance was Sven, and then Hunk. Cliff stood next to Jeff, with one hand on Aidan's shoulder.

Pidge was seated on the floor in the center of the front row. Lenora, his fellow systems analyst, sat on one side of him, flanked by Kelly and Morgan. On his other side sat Cinda, with Ginger and Lisa. Everyone posed and smiled for the camera.

Their entire family was back together. Finally.
