Hi guys! What's up? I'm sorry haven't updated in such a long time, but my laptop had issues and was stuck in the shop for a while. But I've got it back and now I'm back with another chapter of J&TS. Are you guys excited for the new JATNLP special, 'Never Land Rescue' I sure am! I know I've said it before on the third chapter of 'Pirate Wedding', but I'm gonna say it again: NEVER LAND FOREVER! Anyways, this is where we explore Tori's thoughts a little when she talks to a doll version of Jake. I hope that you enjoy it. Warning: May contain cutesy parts between Tori and the doll.
Also... to the person who asked about the bodyswaps... the 28th chapter takes place after everybody had gotten back in their original bodies. Just to clear that up for you.
Disclamier: I do no own Jake and the Never Land Pirates or Victorious. They belong to Disney Junior and Nickelodeon. Though, I do own the characters that you won't recognize.
Chapter 29: The Jake doll
"No! No! Please! Leave me alone!"
"Oh don't worry, Tori. This will only hurt a lot!"
SNAP! SNAP! SNAP! SNAP! SNAP! SNAP!
Tori screamed in pain as she was hit by the mysterious strap of leather by the mysterious person. No matter how hard she tried to protect her body, the person still kept beating her, laughing evilly as she cried in pain. While she couldn't see the person (he was in the shadows), he sounded all too familiar. "PLEASE STOP! IT HURT'S TOO BAD!" Tori shrieked. The person smirked. "You want me to stop already? But we've just started. Besides... who's gonna save you? Oh that's right. NOBODY!"
Tori felt tears stream down her cheeks as she looked up at her abuser. Even in the shadows, he looked familiar. His eyes were a piercing green color, and it scared her a lot. She thought she could see a smirk hidden within the shadows. An all too familiar smirk. Something she had seen rather recently. She just couldn't put her finger on it for his name. What was this persons name? What?
"Poor Tori Vega." the person taunted. "Nearly beaten to death... now it's time to finish this..."
Tori screamed in terror as she saw the person whip out an unmistakable object.
"I've always wanted to use this..." the person hissed. "Especially on a loved one..."
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Tori shrieked.
"Yo ho, let's go!"
Tori awoke with a yelp. She opened her eyes and looked around, panting. She was still in her bed. The slumber party had ended, and the others girls had been sleeping as well. They must've not had awoken up. Tori sighed. That was a horrific nightmare. She couldn't believe that she was getting beaten by some mysterious person. But who was that person...?
"Yo ho, let's go!"
The teen looked around, only to find a Jake doll in her hand. Why was she even sleeping with that? Who put it with her? Whatever the reason was, the doll reminded her of the real Jake so much. Oh Jake. I wish you could be here. Tori thought. I wish you could be here to protect me. She hugged the doll close to her. It made sound once again, making Tori's heart go pitter patter.
The next morning, Tori walked downstairs with the doll. Trina and Izzy were still sleeping. Jade and Cat left early. As soon as she got downstairs, Jake was waiting in the kitchen with a big smile on his face. "Good morning, fair maiden." he greeted, taking her hand and kissing it. Tori giggled as he led her to the table, where she gasped at the sight of a good looking breakfast. There were waffles, bacon, eggs, and more.
"Oh my god, Jake. This is so wonderful. Did you make this all by yourself?" Tori asked.
Jake nodded. "With a little help from Trina. It was my idea to surprise you with breakfast this morning. Now, shall we eat?"
Tori smiled, and with that, Jake pulled out a chair for her, and then took his own seat. Tori still had the doll clutched to her chest as she ate. As cheesy and childish as it seemed for a seventeen year old, she didn't care. She didn't want to let go of the doll for a while. After that nightmare, she felt as if she needed the doll for comfort. Oh who was she kidding, she needed Jake for comfort. Everytime I look at this doll, I think of Jake. And everytime I look at Jake, I think of this doll. Tori thought as she looked at the doll and then at Jake, who was too busy eating to notice.
He looks so happy. So innocent. So brave. So sexy- What the? He's a twelve-year-old for crying out loud! Ugh! I am not in love with Jake! I'M NOT! Why do I have these type of feelings for him. What kind of seventeen-year-old has a crush on a twelve-year-old?! Is it me?
With these thoughts going around Tori's head, it was starting to give her a headache. She groaned and held her head, finally catching Jake's attention. He looked up from his plate to look at Tori holding her head with a pained look on her face. "Tori. Are you okay?" he asked worriedly. Tori almost didn't hear him as she looked at him with a small smile. "Oh... I'm okay... just a small headache..."
But as Tori said that, a sharp pain shot through her head, causing her to whimper. Jake was now really worried as he rushed to her side. He helped Tori out of her seat, in to the living room, and onto the couch. "I think that's more than just small headache." Jake said, chuckling a little. "You wait here, and I'll go find something to help." With that, Jake left upstairs. Tori wished he hadn't left, but remembered that she still had the Jake doll in her hand. She hugged the doll tightly. "I wish I could tell Jake how I feel about him." She whispered. "Even though I'm not sure"
Oh really.
Tori jumped and looked around. Who was that? Who said that?
Oh come on, Victoria. You know you like him.
"Who said that?!" Tori demanded, now standing. "I may have a really bad headache right now, but I can still fight... sorta."
Look in your hand.
Tori was confused and nervous. but did as the mysterious voice told. She looked in the that held the Jake doll. The mysterious voice chuckled. Good girl. You're not as dumb as I though you would be.
"Hey! Who are you calling dumb?!" Tori snapped, receiving another sharp pain in her head. "Ow..." She looked at the doll again, and realized where that voice was coming from.
Don't talk to me like that. I'll do all the talking.
Tori sighed, and the doll continued to talk.
You seem to care a lot about Jake don't you? Of course you do. So that means you must like him. Very much.
"Well... yeah." Tori answered. "He is such a good little friend."
The doll laughed again. Oh you and your secrecy. I know that you like Jake more than as just... a friend.
Tori was getting more and more confused and frightened. How was the doll talking? What was it talking about? What did it mean by her liking Jake more than as just a friend? Suddenly, it clicked. This doll somehow knew about those 'certain feelings' she had for the pirate boy. Tori looked at the doll in horror. "How do you know about how I feel about Jake?" She asked. The doll chuckled. Well. I've been watching you... the way you stare at Jake... the way you talk to him... the way you help him... it's pretty obvious... you're in love with him.
"No... no, I'm not..." Tori tried to deny. But she received another sharp pain in her head. DO NOT DENY IT! The doll warned. You know you do.
"But... Jake's only twelve years old. And I'm seventeen. We're way too far apart..."
So? There's this TV show were one of the characters is in love with the main actress, and he's only about twelve, and she's nineteen.
"That's completely different!"
Nope. I think it's similar to this.
"No..."
Your heart is begging for Jake's.
"No..."
Just admit it!
"No!"
You love Jake!
"SHUT UP!" Tori shrieked, throwing the doll down to the floor. She was breathing heavily, and stared at the doll. She could've sworn that it was possessed by the devil or something. The doll laughed once more. You may deny yourself now, but soon you'll realize that your feelings for Jake... are true...
With that, the doll talked no more. Tori sighed, and lied down on the couch. Her headache had just become ten times worse. She thought back to the dolls words. Was it right? Was she really in love with Jake, and she had just been denying herself this whole time? Tori knew that if she thought about this more, it would make her head hurt even more.
"Tori! I was looking for that Jake doll, but I couldn't find it." Jake said as he came down the stairs and sat down beside the teen. He spotted the doll on the floor and picked it up. "Oh. Here it is. I was hoping that it would your head feel better. Feel the love of the doll." He handed the doll to Tori, who took it with a bit of hesitation, worried that the doll would talk again. But then again, it was probably all in her imagination.
The teen hugged the doll tightly. Jake smiled as he pulled covers over her. "You need to rest. That should also help your head."
With that, Jake leaned in and gave Tori a warm kiss on her cheek.
That's when Tori thought she had died and went to heaven. That had to be the most warm, sweet, and more soft kiss she had ever gotten. She smiled gleefully as Jake walked back upstairs. "I'll come back down to check on you later." He reminded her. "Okay." she replied.
Tori stared at the doll in her hand, and hugged it tightly. "I care for you Jake. I care for you so much." she whispered.
That... is an evil little doll, don't you think. And that freaky dream at the beginning. Well, I finally finished this chapter. It took forever, but it was worth the wait (I hope). Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this chapter. I'll see you guys later. And continued to predict Blake's evil plan in a review, please. Thank you.
PS: When I mentioned that TV show with a character in love with another character that is way older than him, what show was I referring to? Here's a hint: It's on Disney Channel.
