Hinata absolutely loved the winter. She lived for the happy faces of random people as they were blessed with the company of their loved ones. She downright adored the way that the pretty white snowflakes fell from the sky and landed onto the ground in a gentle and majestic way. She yearned for the times where it got too cold outside and she'd stay inside, cozy by the fireplace.

So anyone could understand why the poor Hyuuga was upset that she had to go to work on this lovely snow day. Her heart raced as she watched the falling flakes.

She grinned as she ran into the shower and put on her favorite thick red dress. As she put on her clothes, she glanced at the giant bag of presents beside her bed. The young Hyuuga had finally found the perfect present for Sakura, with no help from the sulking Uchiha who wasn't allowed to open his present early.

Why not, Hinata?

Because you don't get special treatment, Sasuke.

I beg to differ, because your tongue down my throat felt like-Ah! Ow! Really? A damn pot is your-Ow! Hinata!

Hinata shook her head as the memory floated into her head. Her perverted blunt boyfriend needed a good smacking on the head a few times in the year. Her heart skipped a beat for a moment as she thought of the young Uchiha. He had drastically changed from when she first met him. His face was no longer plagued with a rough glare and frown. He smirked and teased and even made a few jokes here and there.

She carefully made her way out of her home and practically swooned as she was hit with a cold wind. Her hair was being decorated by the snow and she never felt more beautiful. Gods, she loved the winter. No matter how cold it got, Hinata appreciated every part of the it because she knew that once these cold temperatures started to get warmer, this signaled the end of her favorite season.

"You're such a child." Sasuke's voice shot through the morning as he watched her twirl around, nearly falling face first into the concrete.

"Don't you just love this weather?" Hinata called to him instead. Her breath came out in the usual white puffs.

"No," Sasuke sighed as he grabbed her elbow and forced her to move along. "Let's go or you'll be late."

"Don't you mean 'we'll be late', my dear?" Hinata grinned as she begrudgingly followed his lead.

"No, because I'd just leave you behind," Sasuke shrugged as he twirled her around, nearly laughing at the pout that now formed on her face. "I never tire of you."

Her cheeks darkened to a beet red as she tried to let his affectionate statement roll off. Sasuke raised a brow at her sudden quiet behavior and realization spread across his features.

"Forget I said it," The young Uchiha mumbled as he lead them toward the school once more.

Hinata fell into step with the male and looked up with a smile. "I'm quite fond of you as well."

Sasuke looked down with flushed ears and nudged her with a elbow. Hinata grinned as she swatted away a few stray pieces of snow from the male's hair. He locked eyes with her and she was suddenly filled with a deep sense of want. The familiar feeling from this morning crept up on her once again and she allowed herself a moment to appreciate the male before her. Her feelings for this boy...for this young man were strong. She only hoped that she wasn't alone in her affections.

Anyone could see that Hinata wanted to go outside. In the middle of her lesson she happened to glance at the window and nearly cried as she watched the fluttering snow.

"Ms. Hyuuga?" Ino called softly as the class watched the young woman walk toward the window as if in a trance. "Are you alright?"

"I shouldn't be here," Hinata whimpered as she pressed her face against the window, her eyes watering. "Not when there is a perfect set of fresh snow out there begging me to enjoy it."

"You do know that we are allowed to set foot outside for lunch, right?" Kiba called from behind the blonde female. "We are allowed some presents."

At the brunette's last word, Hinata's trance seemed to be broken as she quickly turned around to face them with a wide grin on her face. "I completely forgot. I have presents for you all."

She ran to behind her desk and hauled out the giant red bag of gifts that she made Sasuke carry here. Though the male did grumble about it the entire way. She quickly handed them out and ordered that they not open it until everyone had their gift.

"Okay my lovely students. Don't tell any of the other students I did this. I wouldn't want them to feel jealous or left out," Hinata explained with a small frown.

"Even though they are in fact being left out," Sakura carefully added in as she twirled her gift around in boredom.

Hinata opened her mouth to respond but found that she had no words. Her heart sank and she suddenly wished that he hadn't done this at all. She should've just baked a cake or something. She-

A crumbled paper ball was thrown in the air and hit Sakura right on the top of her head.

"Stop acting like that Haruno, be grateful," Kiba grumbled with a frown and allowed his canine teeth to show.

"Oh my god," Ino said as she tried to hide her laughter. "It hit you square on the head!"

"Shut up Ino!" Sakura grumbled as she began to tear into her gift, signaling everyone else to do so as well.

Hinata anxiously waited for their reactions to her specifically chosen gifts. Though she didn't want to be too obvious, her eyes lingered on Sasuke for a bit longer than she normally would. And even if she said she wouldn't show him special treatment, the young woman had actually gotten him 2 gifts; one for here at school and another far more personal.

Her eyes settled on Sakura instead and mentally sighed. She didn't know where she and the young woman had fallen out, but she wished they could start over. Her heart longed for it dearly. She watched as the pinkette pealed out the object beneath the wrapping. Sakura's emerald eyes softened considerably as she picked up the small trinket with a fist design engraved in it. She looked up at the young Hyuuga and a soft smile slowly made its way on her face.

"Thanks," Sakura nodded as she twirled the trinket around her fingers.

Hinata nodded with a small smile and turned her attention to Naruto when he yelled out in joy.

"Oh my God. Ms. Hyuuga will you marry me?" Naruto exclaimed loudly and was nearly killed by Sasuke's glare. "You got me a year's supply of free ramen!"

"Whoa, how much did that cost Ms. Hyuuga?" Kiba asked from behind the blonde as he blindly tore into his gift as well.

"Don't worry about it," Hinata smiled as she watched the brunette nearly collapse from catching sight of the matching dog sweaters.

"You precious human being," Kiba called as he pressed the warm and soft sweater to his face. "Akamaru will love you forever."

"You got everyone such nice things, I feel bad we didn't get you anything," Naruto announced as he pressed his gift to his chest.

"That's where you're wrong. We all chipped in and bought her a present. Sasuke has it," Ino grinned as she turned to the male.

He dug inside his bag and produced a carefully wrapped present with her full name printed neatly on top. The young Uchiha stood up and held it out to her.

"This is from them, you'll get mine later," Sasuke whispered as quietly as he could as he handed her the gift.

Hinata grinned widely and gladly started to open the wrapping carefully. Her heart pounded against her chest as she finally was able to dig inside the box. In her hands was a picture frame with the carefully designed words Best Teacher. Inside the frame was a picture of a laughing Hinata, not looking at the camera directly, and surrounded by her students. It looked to have been taken on the day that they celebrated winning the contest for best class festival.

"There's a letter too," Ino explained with a similar grin.

"Read it aloud," Naruto said happily as he waited with his head in his hands.

"'Dear Mrs. Hyuuga. No scratch that. Dear Hinata Hyuuga. Here we present you the most cheapest gift we could give without actually giving you socks. Naruto even suggested that we slip you in socks as a joke. He's obviously not funny. We all wanted to give you something so bad (even Sasuke, shocker) but we seriously had no idea what. You're a nightmare to buy things for.

Our ideas ranged from buying you a shirt, coffee, food, clothes, a drawing, we even thought about selling Naruto to you. But who would really be winning there? Then comes precious Gaara (too good, too pure) with his amazing timing, because we were literally all going mad. One more failed idea and I think we all would've went on a vandalizing spree. And that sweet little redhead says 'I took this picture, want me to send it to you all?' And boom! It all came together. One look at that pretty damn amazing picture and we all knew. We didn't need some expensive gift to show that we loved you. That picture with all of us looking at you with freaking adoration in our eyes proves it.

Maybe it's because you're basically one of the youngest teachers we've ever known but, we all feel connected to you. You can tell when we're upset, angry or sad with just a look. Having you first period was a blessing from any God(s). Your soft voice calls us in to listen and your lessons are pretty interesting as well. Thank you for being our teacher and on some level, our friend. Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday Hinata.'"

There was a moment of silence before Ino stood up and wrapped her arms around the young woman. This prompted the Hyuuga to finally release all of her emotions into one as she started to cry. Naruto and Kiba were next as they raced to embrace the wailing woman. Soon enough, everyone was up and surround the Hyuuga as they pressed in close. Sasuke and Gaara stood up but didn't participate in the group hug.

"Think she liked it?" Gaara asked as he crossed his arms over his chest.

Sasuke chuckled to himself as he caught sight of the sniffling young woman. "She loved it."

"Ino's a good writer," Gaara hummed aloud with no real thought behind it and his eyes widened when said blonde pulled away from the group.

"You think so?" Ino grinned as she wiped away stray tears.

"How did you-"

"-Please. Girls hear everything," Ino dismissed as she flipped her hair over her shoulder. "Anyway, teme, why aren't you apart of the group loving? This was your idea to get her something."

"I'm not a fan of 'group loving'," Sasuke shrugged as he mimicked Gaara's stance.

"Whatever, how about you Mr. Tattoo?" Ino asked with a small smile.

"It looks to have enough people there already," Gaara answered sheepishly as he unconsciously ran a through his hair.

"Nonsense," Ino grinned as she pushed the male into a small opening of the group hug.

"You're a cruel woman," Sasuke shivered and was earned a sly grin from the blonde.

"Why, thank you Sasuke-kun," Ino practically purred before she turned her attention back on the group. "Sakura's still pretty bitter."

"I know, she hasn't spoken to me since," Sasuke sighed as he found the pinkette being crushed by Kiba.

"Give her time, I'm sure she'll be fine," Ino assured the male and bumped his shoulder.

"Naruto seems fine," Sasuke commented as he found the male being embraced by his girlfriend. A tick of annoyance spread through his body.

"He's not. He's hurt and avoiding Sakura like the plague," Ino corrected with a sigh.

"Give him time, I'm sure he'll be fine," Sasuke repeated back at her with small smirk.

Ino faked a laugh and leaned on his shoulder.

"Do you know what Gaara's tattoo mean?" Ino asked.

"I've never asked."

"It means love. I wonder who hurt him so much he had it tattooed on his face," Ino whispered quietly.

"Hm," Sasuke hummed in response as they both stared at the male.

The group slowly dissolved into nothing as the students returned to their desks. Hinata wiped away the last of her tears and once again picked up the picture frame.

"I'll treasure this forever," Hinata assured her students as she put it down on her desk, facing toward them. "Thank you."

Sasuke nearly ran to the Hyuuga's classroom as the day finally ended, signaling the start of their winter vacation. As he entered the room, he quickly closed the door behind him and closed the blinds. Hinata watched him with bewilderment.

"Sasuke? Is something-"

Her words were cut off as the young male promptly pressed his lips against hers. His hand traveled into her hair and pushed them as close together as possible. Hinata brought her hands to his to his arms and begrudgingly pushed away from his lips.

"What's got you so enthusiastic?" Hinata asked with a small giggle as the male's excitement radiated in the air.

"Itachi has to go out of town because of a painting job tomorrow. He's going to be gone for Christmas," Sasuke nearly grinned and moved to press his lips against hers once more but she slipped out of his reach.

"Why are you happy about that? Won't you be lonely?" Hinata asked and longed to embrace the male with all of her might.

"Not if I spend it with a special girl," Sasuke called out with mock innocence, he even batted his eyes for good measure.

"Special girl? I like to think I'm not the jealous type but-"

"-Oh my god. It's you, you female Naruto!"

"But I'm not blonde," Hinata stated as she tilted her head to the side.

"Shut up," Sasuke chuckled as he pulled the young woman back into his arms and happily pressed his lips on hers. "What's your answer?"

"I'd love to. If you don't mind spending time with Karin, Temari, Gaara, Kankuro and Tenten then we're all set," Hinata smiled as a huge smile was planted on her face.

"Gaara and Kankuro? Damn it," Sasuke sighed as he placed his chin on top of her head.

"What's wrong?" Hinata asked, her voice slightly muffled by his shirt.

"I can't act as your boyfriend with them there," Sasuke sighed once again and shook his head. "Doesn't matter. I'll still go."

Hinata kissed his collarbone and placed her cold hands underneath his shirt. She watched in amusement as the male scurried out of her embrace.

Hinata both loved and feared her mother greatly. As a child she would sometimes tag along with the older woman to her father's job and she always wondered why the workers would cower in fear when she arrived. It wasn't until she got a bit older did she realize that though her father's name was on the business, her mother called all of the shots.

"Hinata please tell your father that if he continues to stare at me like that there will be consequences," Hikari smiled with murder in her eyes.

"Please tell your mother that this is my regular facial expression and I don't care for consequences," Hiashi responded swiftly and they both cracked their crab in unison.

"What happened?" Hinata whispered to her younger sister who seemed amused by their parents' antics.

"Mom totally crapped on Dad's whole building plan. She said it was 'amature at best'" Hanabi whispered back with glee. " I've never seen the old geezer look this upset."

"And I was right about it. Look your clients liked my idea more, what's the problem? I just got you more money," Hikari finally huffed as she turned to face the male directly and put down her crab.

"I don't wish to speak about this in front of the children," Hiashi swiftly avoided as he continued to eat with a glare on his face.

"They're not children anymore, I mean look at Neji," Hikari insisted as she pointed a quick hand at the male.

"I feel like I should be offended," Neji whispered to himself but caused a chuckle to erupt from Hinata.

"No dear, you have the handsome Hyuuga genes, you'll look good until you're 98," Hikari swiftly amended and then turned her fierce gaze onto her daughter. Hinata stopped laughing, out of fear. "Since your father's being childish, when am I seeing your boyfriend?"

"Wha-? How did we get to this?" Hinata stated in shock as she tried to shy away from her mother's gaze.

"It's because you laughed," Hanabi teased as hid her smile behind her hand.

"You're all gonna get the look in a second. Hanabi, you're next. Who's Konohamaru huh? And Neji, I want grandchildren, why isn't Tenten married with a child already?"

The entire table was silent for just a moment as Hikari tapped her fingers on the table, expecting an answer from them all.

Then Hinata's phone rang loudly and the three being interrogated suddenly jumped up out of their seats.

"Thank you for the meal. I have to go now," Hinata called as she ran away.

"It was all fun and games until I wasn't hungry anymore, bye!" Hikari yelled sarcastically as she basically flew up the stairs to her room.

Neji tried to creep away but was hit with both of the Hyuugas' sharp stare.

"Neji, have a seat," Hiashi called with murder in his eyes.

"I'm not hungry anymore," Neji called weakly.

"I bet Tenten is," Hikari grinned widely, making the male uncomfortable.

"Heathens left me," Neji murmured under his breath as he mentally cursed his cousins for abandoning him.

Hinata had forgiven herself rather quickly for leaving Neji behind. She'd send him his favorite tea later.

"Hinata are you listening?" Sasuke sighed with annoyance lacing his voice.

"I'm sorry. What did you say?" Hinata grinned to herself as she heard the male suck his teeth.

"It's nothing. How was dinner with your family?" Sasuke asked instead.

"As normal as it can be. My father still isn't quite use to living with my mother," Hinata answered honestly with a shrug.

"Does it bother you?"

"Bother me? No. I just wonder if having her released without him knowing was for the best."

"You did what you thought was best," Sasuke started and his voice seemed right.

Hinata was silent for a moment as found her home. She quickly noticed the figure that was sitting on her porch.

"Um hello?" Hinata called to the person sitting and as she got closer she realized that it was a woman. "Excuse me?"

"What's wrong Hinata?" Sasuke's voice butted in as her heart pounded against her chest. "Should I go down there?"

Hinata didn't respond to him as the young woman stood up and revealed herself.

"Cute little house you got here Hyuuga," electric blue eyes pierced into her's. "I was starting to think you you were gone for the night."

"Haruka?" Hinata called out in confusion. "What are you doing here?"

"Haruka? Your childhood friend? What the hell Hyuuga? Your past is so damn annoying!"

"Hideki called me. I'm here to help," Haruka shrugged, her brunette hair longer now but she still held the same fiery orange tips.

Some things never change.

"I'm going to get you," Sasuke spoke one last time before he quickly ended the call.

"To help me? I didn't know I needed any," Hinata stated innocently, though in the back of her mind she cursed that bastard Hideki.

"Can we please go inside and talk? I'm freezing," Haruka pleased as she rubbed her bare hands together.

"Oh…yeah. Yes of course, sorry," Hinata snapped into action as she unlocked the door.

Haruka purred in happiness at the warmth of her home.

"Oh my god! Is that a kitty? Hello beautiful!" Haruka dove onto the floor and greeted the car at eye level. "You're so pretty."

Hinata watched the young woman with a raised brow.

"You said I needed help with something?" Hinata stated as she removed her coat and boots.

"You need to know everything about that broody bastard before you both meet the Hyuugas, right?" Haruka grinned as she rolled onto her back. "No one knows more about him than me. I worked with him for years after high school."

"This is getting out of hand," Hinata murmured to herself as she dragged a hand down her face.

"Why exactly do you need Hideki to lie for you?" Haruka asked as she leaned up and removed her coat, the floor was wet now.

"I didn't ask him to. We had everything perfectly under control before-"

"-We? So there's someone involved. Is it a boy? Or even a girl?" Haruka pushed with a raised brow.

"Haruka, it's really nice to see you after all these years but what you and Hideki don't seem to understand is I don't need help. In fact he's made everything so much more complicated than what I had already done."

The brunette's eyes seemed to glow in amusement. "There's our little Hyuuga president."

Hinata nearly face palmed as her words seemed to fly right over the young woman's head.

"I've never heard from you directly why you chose to stray from your father's company," Haruka thought aloud as she tapped her chin.

"It's complicated and-"

"-You should know I absolutely adore complicated. What's got you so closed off Hyuuga?"

Hinata stared at the woman for a silent moment and briefly wondered why all of her high school friends were suddenly returning. She wouldn't be surprised if they were trying to force her into being head of the company again.

"Why are you here Haruka?" Hinata asked with narrowed eyes.

"The faster you let me talk all about that bastard the faster I'll leave," Haruka stated with a sigh.

Hinata felt the strange urge to suffocate herself, instead her eyebrow twitched in annoyance as she promptly called Hideki.

"Hello this is-"

"-This is Hinata, and I would like to know why Haruka has been waiting for me at my home under your orders?"

"Y'know I'm right here? You could've asked me sweetheart," Haruka sighed as she returned to playing with the cat on the floor.

"You need to know everything about me for your parents and I-"

"-Why would I need that?"

"If you'd stop interrupting me, you'd already know Hyuuga. Your parents won't satisfied with just calls and letters. They're going to want to meet me along with you. Possibly even for a dinner."

Hinata was quiet for a moment and thought about her precious little boyfriend who wanted to spend Christmas with her even if it meant that he couldn't tease or touch her like he'd wanted. She thought about how the Uchiha was on his way here now to make sure that she was okay.

"Hideki forget everything that has happened until now. I don't wish to do this anymore. He doesn't deserve that," Hinata stated with her strong no funny business voice.

"He?" Hideki questioned and then released a chuckle. "Hinata he needs this cover. How long do you think you'll have before people get suspicious of your affection towards a student?"

"I'll deal with that as it comes," Hinata stated quickly and steadily. "Thank you for trying but this is goodbye."

"Hyuuga wait! Listen-"

She pressed the red button and sighed as if a burden had been released from her shoulders.

"So you're fucking a student?" Haruka guessed and pouted when the fat cat wobbled away from her.

Hinata's mouth hung open as the woman's words hit. Is that what people would think? "No I am not fu-fucking anyone!"

"Shame. You have a wonderful rack," Haruka sighed and ignored Hinata's flushed face as she stood up from her spot on the floor. "Since you just told Hideki off in the most kindest way, I'm going to assume I'm not welcomed either."

"Would you like for me to call a cab?" Hinata asked with a slight tilt of her head.

"Nah, I have Kenta waiting in a car across the street," Haruka grinned and turned to look at the wet spot she caused. "Sorry about your floor."

"It's nothing," Hinata nodded. "Why didn't he come inside too?"

"I wanted him to but he said something about overwhelming you. I heard you fainted upon seeing our little Hideki," Haruka purred with a sly grin and as she opened the door she came face to face with Sasuke. "Who might you be?"

"Doesn't concern you," Sasuke frowned and turned his attention on the Hyuuga. "You okay?"

"Ooh, you're the boyfriend. Nice going Hinata. Uchihas grow to be pretty hot," Haruka winked and pushed past the male. "Remind your brother about me, will ya?"

Sasuke and Hinata watched as she left and the male quickly closed the door and wrapped his arms around her. Hinata inhaled his shirt and calmed down when the familiar scent of wood and the undertone of paint hit her nose.

"You're fine," Sasuke reassured the woman as he felt her breath turn ragid. "Hinata listen you're fine. C'mon, would I lie?"

She looked up at him and tightened her fists around his shirt. Wait…his shirt and not coat.

"Where's your coat?!" Hinata exclaimed with surprise as she liked up into his eyes.

"I accidentally left it at home. I rushed over here as fast as I could," Sasuke shrugged and sighed when she pinched his cheeks.

"It's snowing outside, you could get sick now. C'mon Sasuke, you have to take better care of yourself," Hinata scolded as she checked him for a fever. "If you get sick, Itachi-san won't be home to take care of you. How will you-"

She cut herself off as she finally took notice of the male's glare. He glanced down at her and his frown grew slightly.

"I was worried about you," Sasuke stated plainly.

"I understand but-"

"-No, you don't. I was worried about you."

"I heard you perfectly fine that still-"

"-I didn't care about anything but you at the moment. So of course a coat slipped my mind."

Hinata sighed and nodded to the male as she wrapped her arms around his neck. "I understand. I'm sorry."

Sasuke shrugged and the frown on his face didn't seem to let up. He avoided her gaze and didn't return her embrace.

"Sasuke," she whined and pinched the male's cheeks. "I should be the one upset. If you get sick I can't spend Christmas with you."

The corner of his mouth tilted upwards and the young woman declared victory.

"Want hot chocolate?" Hinata grinned as she pressed a small kiss on the side of his cheek.

"Gross, I'll make us tea," Sasuke declined and slapped her butt in retaliation.

"I just had tea," Hinata whined as she followed the male with a flushed face.

"Sucks," Sasuke shrugged as he moved around her kitchen with ease.

Hinata watched him with a lost expression as her eyes glazed over and her mouth formed a small o. He glanced up at her and raised a brow.

"Where do you want to go to college?" Hinata asked with a tilt to her head. They'd have to have this conversation sooner or later.

"Haven't thought about it. I might just work with Itachi," Sasuke shrugged as he placed a cover over the kettle, he turned his attention solely on her. "Worried I might abandon you?"

"Just a bit," Hinata shrugged and was surprised when was suddenly being carried bridal style.

"Even if I went far, you'd get surprise visits from time to time," Sasuke promised as he twirled her around, smiling at the young woman's laughter.

"That's my Sasuke, don't let me hold you back. Go wherever you want to," Hinata grinned.

"Your Sasuke?" the male smirked as the female's face blew up in flames.

"You know what I mean," Hinata mumbled as she avoided the male's gaze.

She was put down and felt his hands on her face. Lilac eyes met onyx ones and a familiar feeling of want spread through her body. He invaded her space and back her up against the fridge. His arms trapped her in but she didn't feel imprisoned, he was giving her just enough space to say no.

"I don't mind being yours," Sasuke confessed, his voice low and husky, "but only if you promise to be mine."

Hinata's heart hammered against her chest not out of fear but in excitement. She wondered if he knew what he was doing to her. He lowered his head, his lips just a feather away from hers. Sasuke didn't move any closer and locked eyes with her.

"Do you wish to be mine?" He asked quietly and when a tinge of red dusted her cheeks, he smirked. "I need to hear it Hinata."

"...Yes," The Hyuuga whispered and was immediately hit with the force of his lips on hers.

She kept her eyes open just a sliver and carefully watched as the male's cheeks also had a bit of blush forming on them. A satisfactory feeling of pride swelled in her as she realized that she was able to make the male blush with just one word. She fully closed her eyes and could faintly hear the kettle screaming but she chose to ignore it.

Sasuke lifted her up and she happily wrapped her legs around his. They separated for a moment but didn't move too far away. He planted her on top of the counter and immediately went to kiss her neck. Her hands traveled into his hair and she lightly pulled, accidently forcing a groan out of the male.

He quickly separated from her and ran a hand through his hair. His gaze never left hers as he bit his lip.

"We're not ready to move forward yet," Sasuke commented though he looked as if he wanted to continue on with leaving little love marks on her neck.

Hinata nodded and then a small smile formed on her face. "I'll wait."

Sasuke nearly broke all control with those two words.

They moved back to the living room and sat together on the couch as they watched cartoons. Hinata absentmindedly played with their entwined hands and giggled when a character was smashed by a random hammer. She leaned her head on his shoulder and smiled up at the male.

"Yours," Hinata grinned to herself as the male's ears were the first to turn red.

"I'm trying to watch the show," Sasuke tried to shoot her down.

"Ah, but I'm trying to admire a handsome view," Hinata replied innocently and laughed as the male practically jumped on her.

"You're really tempting me, you tease," Sasuke growled and bit into her collarbone.

The cartoon played in the background as they made out with each other on her couch, feeling nothing but happiness. Sasuke pulled away from her with a frown as he checked the time.

"You've got to go?" Hinata asked with a small pout.

"Yeah, Itachi leaves tomorrow," Sasuke shrugged and Hinata heard him perfectly clear.

"You want to spend time with your brother, I understand," Hinata smiled as she fixed his messy hair. "I'll see you again tomorrow."

"I have your present ready," Sasuke promised and kissed her one last time before he moved away from her. Hinata ran to her closet and presented the male with a slightly bigger coat.

"I have some of Neji's things here. It's too small for him now so I don't think it would matter if you borrowed it," Hinata grinned and helped him put the dark green item on. She patted him on the shoulders and bid him farewell. "Text me when you arrive. It's quite dark out right now."

"Sure," Sasuke hummed and lifted a hand as a wave.

Hinata locked the door and was startled when her phone suddenly started to ring.

"Hello, this is Hinata speaking."

"Hello dear. Excuse us for calling so late but you ran off so fast after dinner I forgot to inform you of something," Hikari's sarcastic voice traveled through.

"Has something happened?" Hinata ignored the woman's tone.

"Oh no nothing bad. I just wanted to ask what time you were going to come."

"Come to what?"

"Oh dear don't play dumb. You're coming over for Christmas."

"What? No, I can't!"

"Why not? Don't you wish to celebrate it with us?"

"Of course I would but-"

"-Then there shouldn't be a problem Hinata."

"I've already established plans with other people to celebrate Christmas with them," Hinata explained and had begun to pace around the living room.

"Is it with your boyfriend and friends?"

"...No?" Hinata tried to avoid and bit into her.

"You're a horrible liar," Hikari sighed in annoyance. "Just bring them along. There should be plenty of food and space if you're worried about that."

"Mother, I can't," Hinata pleaded as she thought about her special Uchiha.

"Hinata, this is my first Christmas back, and you're going to be here even if I have to drag you here by myself," Hikari declared. "I'll see you then. Goodnight dear."

"Mother wait!" Hinata tried to call but nothing came back.

The young Hyuuga felt like screaming her lungs out. She pulled at her hair and tried to think of some way to get out of her plans with her family. She went over their entire conversation and her eyes widened. Her mother had already known that she was planning to spend the holiday with her boyfriend and friends. Hinata immediately dialed her recent caller's phone number.

"Hello, this is-"

"Hideki you jerk! How could you inform my mother of my plans?!" Hinata nearly screeched as she glared at anything in sight. Sasuke had taught her well.

"I told you, he's going to need this cover," Hideki's silky voice called back calmly.

"I hate you," Hinata declared before she promptly hung up the phone. She fell to the ground and allowed her tears of frustration to overflow. Her thoughts immediately traveled to the male who had just been showering her with kisses and easily concealed lovebites. She thought of how excited he had been to spend Christmas with her and gritted her teeth. Like hell was she going to take this away from the male.

Hinata quickly put on her coat and boots and stormed out of her home with a glare facing the world. She stopped and a taxi and gave her father's company address. The cab driver was a polite old man who told her stories of his time in Africa.

"It's so much different than what the media shows you. It's a really beautiful sight to see," the male grinned.

"I'll bet," Hinata nodded, not in the mood to speak.

Upon arriving she stomped inside and flashed her ID whenever someone questioned who she was. She arrived on the second to last floor and went straight to her old office that her father kept in case she'd ever change her mind about leading the company.

"Hyuuga-sama?" a voice called from behind her. "You've returned?"

"I guess," Hinata muttered and sighed at the room. It was the same as she left it. She sat in her old seat and pulled up all the information she could find on Hideki's business. "Jerk."

"Hyuuga-sama, would you like anything? I am glad to help," the same intern spoke carefully, almost as if he was afraid.

"All records available on Hideki Hokkaido's A New World in my hand as fast as you can," Hinata demanded as she read through her old records.

"Of course, but may I ask why?" the male asked, halfway out of the door.

Hinata's eyes pierced the male's with a glare. "He's declared war on me."

That's the end of the chapter! Thank you for waiting. I hope you all enjoyed this chapter. I really enjoyed writing it. I wrote it while listening to Zedd - Papercut. I love writing BAMF Hinata. Anyways, I've already started chapter 30 (omg so many) and it should be up soon. If you don't mind, could you head onto my page and answer the poll I have there. It's about the fics, don't worry. Well anyway, thank you for reading and reviewing. Love you guys and I'll see you in the next chapter!
