Chapter 26
3 months later
We've done nothing, but hunt... That includes magicians, sirens, Alastair, and other complicated stuff, but also, the death of Pamela Barnes. Now,I didn't know her very well, but I felt bad because the boys knew her and my dad, but I haven't seen him in the last three months. Up until yesterday, after Pamela's death for her funeral. Also, Sam's been acting weird; like leaving at night or early in the morning when Dean's asleep and I pretend.
But now, we're all driving from the funeral through the night.
"Dean, Ruby said we should met up with her. She's been tracking some leads." Sam speaks.
"I don't care, Sam."
I lay there, supposed to be sleeping according to them.
"What?"
"You wanna know what, Sammy?" Dean rose his voice. "I'm tired of losing my friends, I feel guilty when I know it's not my fault! So I'm not going to care; only about Bobby and Vallie. They're the only ones we've got left, okay?"
Sam sighs. "Get angry because of it, not tired."
"What good is that going to do me?"
I 'woke' up and we checked into a motel. I turned the doorknob to our room and yelped as I saw two figures in the moon's shadow.
"Valehry." Someone voiced deeply.
"Uriel."
"What the hell are you doing here?!" Dean hissed over my shoulder.
The other figure stepped into the light.
Castiel.
I shifted uncomfortably and stepped back.
Sadness filled his eyes, but his face still kept blank. "I'm sorry." He says.
I turned away from him and buried my face into Sam's chest as his arm snaked around me.
"I ASKED A DAMN QUESTION!" Dean yelled.
Uriel spoke. "7 angels have been killed - "
"SO?! What does that have to do with us?!" Dean snapped.
"And," the angel continued, "We don't know how the demons are doing it. Dean, I want you to interrogate Alastair, our captive."
"NO!"
"We're not asking, Dean."
I looked back as there was a rush of wind. They were gone.
Sam and I both yelled Dean's name in unison. I looked back at him, panicked.
Dean's POV
We appeared in a warehouse and I looked at Cas and Uriel. "What the hell?"
By the way, Cas and I have gotten pretty close. Like best friends, in that kiddy, dumbass way.
"Alastair is in that room." Uriel says, pointing behind me. "Bound in a Devil's Trap."
I sigh, try to walk past the angels to escape, but Uriel blocks me. I turn to Cas, with a pleading look.
"We have no choice, Dean." He said.
I looked at Uriel. "Can Cas and I talk alone?"
With a blink of an eye, he was gone.
Castiel sighed and leaned against the table. "My superiors are starting to doubt me because of my sympathies towards humans."
"Oh... Well, Cas... I can't go in there. You won't like what walks out of that room." I pleaded.
He looked at me with sympathetic, blue eyes. "I'd give anything to not have you do this, but we have no choice."
I sigh and walk into the chamber. He laughed as he saw me. "Dean. Nice to see you."
I started getting torture instruments as Alastair started to chuckle. "I wonder if you're scared, Dean."
"No, I'm not." I denied it and pulled out Ruby's blade, setting it on the table.
"You left part of yourself in the pit, boy." Alastair says in monotone. "Maybe you don't want revenge for what I did to you, maybe for what I did your father."
I glare at him and he smiles menacingly.
"I tortured him thoroughly. He screamed and was so helpless. Although, I never broke him like I did you, Dean."
I chuckled and replied. "Ya know? I could still dream in Hell. I dreamed of torturing you."
I picked up a syringe filled with holy water and walked over to Alastair, I grabbed his arm violently and stabbed the syringe into his skin. He hissed loudly and I felt... good.
