Having no other choice they gave god the consent needed and their son was whisked away to heaven to be healed.

Gabriel didn't really want to let his son go, but there was no other way to ensure his survival. They could go with god to heaven to oversee his healing but they'd be away from him for the entire four years and they didn't know if they could bare the thought of being away from him for that extended period of time. Call them selfish, stupid or what have you, they wanted their time away from him to be as little as possible so they stayed on earth and hoped the two days would go by fast.

Dean and Castiel, for their part, did what they could to keep Sam and Gabriel calm, but Gabriel was hormonal and Sam...Sam wouldn't talk. He was losing time with his son again, and this was by far the worst thing that could happen to the young hunter.

He was tired of losing out on his family because of everything from his past or from people who hated him, he just wanted his family to be left in peace, but it didn't look like that was going to happen any time soon and so with his resolve strengthened Sam decided this would never happen again.

Two days couldn't have been longer for the angels waiting for their son to come back to them and when the door to their house opened and god walked in holding the hand of a miniature Sam, well everyone may have just died of cuteness overload.

Micah stood on his own two feet, walking and probably talking by now and here was Sam, a complete stranger to his own son and the thought almost made him die but Micah looked at Sam and smiled brilliantly.

"DADDY!" He screamed and ran towards Sam, and Sam was gone in the beauty that was his growing son. He was happy beyond words at the thought of his son knowing him and knowing Gabriel, who knelt and hugged Micah to him.

"We've missed you kiddo." Gabriel said, holding Micah close.

"Missed you too."

Dean took this opportunity to ask some questions.

"Not that I'm complaining, but...how does he know them?"

Chuck smiled.

"I made sure to tell him of his family. I showed them to him daily. He is very healthy now, and will live a great life with you." Chuck said, and vanished.

Yeah, it may not have been the greatest comfort knowing that the mother was still out there, probably being a little dick, but a family of angels would not go down without a fight.

Dean looked at the sun setting and smiled. Yeah, bring it bitch. He thought, holding Samael close to his chest. No one would be able to fuck with them now. Pregnant or not, Gabriel would murder anyone who meant harm to his family and Sam was done being the nice boy in all this, he would smite whoever came their way that meant them harm and Castiel would stay awake, standing guard.

"I love you Dean!" Castiel said, watching the sunset with his mate and knowing that for once, everything was going to be okay.
