Chapter 29: I Told You

He didn't give her time to respond as he lashed at Felix, cutting through the skin on his wrist down to his palm.

The thick, dark red liquid slowly oozed out of the wound and onto the floor.

Felix screamed in agony and Lily yelled at Pan to stop, the flames preventing her from running.

Slowly, Pan made his way to the other hand slicing his palm once again, this time the blood spluttered, staining both Felix's and Peter's clothes.

"I-I swear I won't try to escape again! Just stop!" Lily cried. "PLEASE!"

He turned towards her, specks red on his face, and waved his hand at the fire, causing it to vanish before he walked over to her and cupped her cheek. "Is that it, princess?" He whispered. "You think I wont catch you if you run from me?" He snarled. "You know I will. No matter where you are on the island, I will always find you."

She looked away from him, because she knew he was right. "Then why lock me in!?" She wondered aloud. "Wh-why do you keep me in that tree house?"

He narrowed his eyes. "Because that's where you belong." He snarled. "Slaves like you don't get freedom."

He had never called her a slave before, and the way he said it as though she was nothing hurt her deeply. "I am not a slave! Least of all yours!"

Pan chuckled as he pulled her naked body closer to him. "You know that's not true, Lily." He sneered. "You've been mine since the day you were born."

"No!" She yelled. "It's not true."

He moves a piece of hair from her pale face. Then caresses her cheek softly, making her feel uneasy.

Lily's whole body seemed to shake. Simple tremors run through her as his hand grabs her chin. "Oh, I think it is."

His grip is firm as he keeps her face in place and comes closer to her. Her pounding heart drums louder, threatening to explode in her chest.

"No." She whispered against his lips, but they land on hers.

Why did he have to do this in front of Felix? If she opened her eyes, she would see him watching her through the corner of her eyes as she was being kissed by someone thy both hated.

Soon enough though, her eyes widen and she saw him. For the first time, she sees tears in his eyes.

Were they tears of anger or pain, maybe both? Lily had a feeling she'd never know.

Sickly numb, she allowed Pan to do as he pleased, knowing the consequences. That's when she realized he was right; she was a slave.

He parts her lips with his tongue and deepens his sweet whispered kiss.

Blurry eyed, Lily did nothing. His hand grabbed the back of her neck as he worked her. She was only a toy in his hand.

Not long after he broke the kiss he looked her dead in the eyes. "I told you." He whispered softly. "You are mine."

Then, he left her in the middle of the clearing as he walked back to Felix. "Now, what to do to you?" He wondered. "Oh! I've an idea!" He turned to Lily. "Get over here." He ordered.

At first she didn't move, but her legs betrayed her and she obeyed. "Wh-what?" She asked, looking down at Felix's wounds.

Pan handed her the dagger and she just stared at it in shock. He didn't say anything, all he did was smirk at her.

Lily glanced at him, back to the dagger then at Felix. "No!" She exclaimed, realizing what he wanted. "I won't do it!"

He chuckled. "No?" He grinned. "Then I will."

He reached for the dagger, but she took a step back. "Don't. Please! I un-understand! I-I... I'm your... your s-slave." She cried. "Just let him go."

Pan grinned victoriously. "That's what I wanted to hear." He stated, placing a quick kiss on her forehead. "But-" He went to rip out Felix's heart.

"NO!" Lily screamed.

Peter held it in his hand and smirked. "-I'm afraid I still can't let you be together."

The bonds and gag around Felix vanished and Lily's true love fell to the ground. "L-Lily!" He stuttered.

She knelt beside him and cradled his head in her hands. "Felix." She whispered. "It'll be alright... You'll be okay."

He shook his head. "All th-that matters is that y-you will be."

Peter gabbed Lily's forearm and hauled her up forcefully, Felix's heart in his hand. He whispered something into it and Felix's wounds healed and he stood up.

Lily went to embrace him, but Pan threw her on the ground behind him, like some worthless rag doll.

Felix flinched, but before he could run to her, Peter squeezed his heart, causing him to yell. "It doesn't have t-to end this way, P-Pan." He stated.

Pan raised an eyebrow at him. "Oh, I'm not going to kill you, Felix." He smirked. "At least no yet." He winked, glancing at Lily, who stared right back with wide eyes. "No, first... I'm going to put you somewhere that Lily will never find you."

His eyes widened. "Lily." Pan whispered once more into his heart. That's when Felix vanished.

"NO!" Lily yelled.

Peter turned around and the fist thing Lily did was run. Peter watched her go with a cruel smirk on his face. "Good luck, princess."
