Merry Christmas everyone! I'm sorry I haven't uploaded in a while, I've had my mind on other things lately. But anyway, I hope you enjoy! ^^
"So Adol, where-" Dogi was about to say but then before he knew it they were in Shannoa again. Looking around, Dogi plainly said "What? Okay."
The travelers entered the village and Elk ran to the center of it, meeting Eldress Fatima again. She turned around and hugged her grandson, as the rest of them went their way.
"Oh...what the fuck? Who are all these people?" Fatima asked, looking at the people clad in weird clothing that surrounded her. Elk laughed and hit her on the back.
"What? You don't remember us...eh?" Dogi said with uncertainty, looking around with nervous eyes.
"You dope of course I remember! And it appears you don't remember me. Oh whatever. Mishera! Oh you haven't aged at all!" Fatima said, hugging her friend. Then she whispered "What's your secret?"
"Ahahaha! Well, if you really must know...it's the fresh spring water found in the mountains." Mishera laughed and then whispered to Fatima's ear. Sigroon looked down and frowned a bit, making Mishera snicker.
"Oh Cruxie! You've grown into such a lovely and sweet young lady! Where's your brother? Oh...weren't you sick?" Fatima asked.
"My bro couldn't make it, so I came in his stead. Oh and I-I was sick...but a lot happened and...this and that..." Cruxie said, laughing nervously. Cruxie thought to herself "Sweet haha. Yeah...I'm sweet."
"Well anyhow. You've all come a long way, I'm Eldress Fatima. Everything and everyone's been quite busy lately so I'm sorry for the lack of hospitality. Come, this is no place to talk. Let's go inside!" Fatima said and lead them inside her house. Food and drink was prepared for them and they discussed while eating.
"I know, right? I never thought ol Adol here'd be-PPFFFTT! WHAHAHAHA!" Dogi tried to say but then burst out laughing, both him and Adol. Geis rolled his eyes and began mumbling to himself as all of them just stared at the two foreigners. A good fifteen or so minutes passed of the two just laughing and squeaking things to each other, which they both understood apparently, and Geis just babbling on about a relative of his.
"Oh right...by the way, some Dragon Knights came to the village looking for you guys." Fatima said. Adol, Dogi, and Geis looked at her with wide eyes.
"Man, don't they work fast?" Geis scoffed.
"I suggested that they help us take care of some of the monsters near the village. Well, I more of...nevermind." Fatima said, smiling. Mishera looked at her with surprise.
"I didn't know you were capable of manipulating people." She said out loud.
"Ahaha! I-It wasn't manipulating per say...I just...played with their emotions a bit. They were hesitant because they knew it was too much, but I just...maybe taunted them into their own doom, that's all." Fatima laughed nervously. Mishera smiled and patted her in the back, saying "Welcome to the family."
"A-ahem. N-Now, about these Sanctums! They say the Sanctums are where the Dragons reside. S-So the Dragons have been there since forever and have fallen asleep ever since." Fatima said.
"Lazy bastards." Dogi muttered, and was hit by Adol.
"Because of the effects of their energy, the locations have changed into the Sanctums we know today. They really are the Realms of the Dragons, as no human can enter them. With the exception of the Dragon Warrior and his companions though." Fatima explained further.
"Grandma, please teach me the incantation to open the Sanctum. I'll lead them all to the Sanctum myself!" Elk exclaimed and Fatima nodded. It seemed it was no use trying to get to this boy.
"Oh what the hell is the use in even trying to stop you? Adol, it is said that the altar deep within the Ancient Tree is the way to the Sanctum. There is no telling what will await you there. Be careful. Now, Elk, I will teach you the spell. Stand back everyone and give us some space. Elk, repeat after me..." Fatima said and everyone got back.
~ Some Time Later ~
"Okay, close enough. Now get out of here!" Fatima yelled and they all ran towards the Shrine. Soon enough, they were at the Altar again. Dogi and Geis stepped back and let Elk do the spell. Elk's mouth opened and his voice rang throughout the Shrine.
"In the land of life and blessings, thou awarded fertility to thy people...
May the silence of the deep forest...
Love and grace of the land...
Lead us, the people, to thee..."
A blinding light overcame them and suddenly they were in a very different place. A place that seemed to be underground, yet had many giant flowers growing about and giant trees that supported the whole place and kept it intact. What struck the travelers the most, however, was the monsters lurking about.
~ A lot of Sap after ~
The travelers were teleported to a dark place and Adol felt a familiar presence. They looked around and couldn't see anything but the dim light around them. Then, a voice rang out.
...Warrior.
...Destined Warrior...
...Welcome...
Here lieth the domain of old.
I am of the Five Dragons...
Rada-Manj is my name and I...
Then, the entire place was lit up. Dogi immediately urged Adol to ask the voice how to stop the Wind of Destruction. The voice only laughed and there was no answer. There was a still silence for a while and then a giant dragon made of stone dropped out from nowhere.
"AM THE PANTS! I AM A MOUNTAIN!" It yelled and began charging at them. Everyone barely even had time to evade...
~ A Boss Battle After ~
"Warrior, thou hast defeated me, I grant you my assistance, blah, blah, blah. BYE!" Rada-Manj said and roared, a blinding light engulfing the entire area. When the travelers looked back, Rada-Manj was gone. A stone slowly floated down towards Adol's hands.
"To the descendants of the ones who I address herein. Here, I'll make you glow for a bit." Rada-Manj's voice rung throughout the area and Elk began glowing.
"Cool!" Elk said and Geis looked at him with fire in his eyes.
"Hey I want to glow too!" Geis said, gritting his teeth. Dogi put a hand on Geis's shoulder and said "Don't we all Geis. Don't we all."
"We shall not interfere, for this world desireth it's doom. It's suicidal. K bye." Rada-Manj said and then the travelers were teleported back outside. Everyone was left speechless and confused.
"SO WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!? Adol! What did you drag me into!?" Dogi yelled, shaking Adol frantically. Adol only shrugged.
"I don't know but...it seems the end is unavoidable..." Sigroon said, looking down.
"And it sounds like the Dragons can only watch. They don't seem to have the power to stop it..." Geis said.
"What we do know for certain is that the Wind of Destruction will soon blow. We need to collect all the Dragon Stones before then." Mishera said boldly.
"Oh but Adol...the sea altar's still in Ruins Island and we don't know where the moon altar is. So, what do we do now?" Dogi asked and Adol shrugged again, pointing in some random direction.
"What we always wanted to do. So that we have no regrets when we die." Geis said sarcastically. He turned around and screamed "ERNST WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME!? WAAAIIIIII!?"
Three fairies then, flew up to the sobbing Geis and started examining him. Everyone just stared in silence at the sobbing man and tried their best not to laugh.
"He left you because I killed him." Adol snickered to Dogi and they held their laughs with legs stomping the ground and bodies shaking with laughter.
"Uh...don't worry!" Jue said, smiling to them.
"Master's just having another one of his mental breakdowns." Sera reassured horribly.
"We've got this! On the other hand, you should return to Ciarius. I'm sure he'll like an update that we haven't already given him, like that's possible. Mister Egghead's also bound to have found something in his universe of books." Xisa said and held on to Geis. Soon enough the three fairies and Geis disappeared in a flash of light.
"Yeah." Dogi said and Adol teleported them all back to Iska.
~ Somewhere ~
"The 'warrior' seems to be continuing his meetings with the Dragons. He seems to have acquired three of five 'powers'." A man in black said to a person in white. They were in front of a giant door...somewhere. Somewhere obviously a dungeon later on.
"Preparations for 'The Rite' are complete. The time is near and we must begin. We must bring the scythe down on this vile, corrupted land and end it with the Wind of Destruction." An eerie voice said and put her hand up, red electricity running through her hand and opened the door.
"Understood." The man in black said, and teleported away.
