A/N: The last chapter for the season! I forgot to mention this last chapter, but thank you to the guest that made the comment about Alec getting lung cancer. Out of context I know that sounds weird, but my beta at many times has joked I should put a warning and I laughed so much that some else agrees with her. Thank you to all the others who favorited and commented!
Chapter 28
Alec was still having mixed opinions about what he should have done, but he had to go up. He opened the door and Magnus rushed up and hugged him. "I'm missed you last night."
Alec couldn't help but laugh. "If you can't last one night who how are you going to last the whole honeymoon."
He smiled and kissed Alec up against the door. "I'll just have to make up for it right now."
Alec ran his fingers roughly through Magnus's hair as Magnus made his way lower down Alec's neck. "As much as I'd love to stay here with you all day you have a wedding to attend."
Magnus sighed and gave Alec a peck on the nose. Alec got Magnus's suit from the armoire and laid it down on the bed. "Is this bizarre?"
Magnus paused mid button. "What?"
Alec grabbed a brush off the dresser. "Helping you get ready for your wedding."
Alec heard Magnus laugh just a bit. "Maybe." He turned around and placed the tie around Magnus's neck. "But you do owe me when we get back."
Alec grinned and adjusted the tie's knot before brushing off the Chairman's hair. "Are you sure, maybe you owe me?"
Magnus groaned. "If I wasn't in my wedding suit I would have attacked you already."
Alec laughed. "You'll only be gone for six weeks."
Magnus grabbed Alec's hand. "And I'll miss you every day." He followed each word with a kiss up Alec's arm until he kissed his lips.
The door opened and they broke apart. "Sorry to interrupt you two, but I need to see my future husband's lover." Lily stood in the doorway, already draped in her wedding dress.
"Good morning, Lily," said Magnus cheerfully.
"Why me," asked Alec.
"I heard the red head-Clary right?" Alec nodded. "Clary talking about how there was a letter for you in the morning post."
Alec frowned. "I wonder what it is." He leaned over and gave Magnus a quick kiss. "See you before you leave."

"Isn't this exciting," gushed Clary.
"Not necessarily," said Jace, bored.
Clary pouted. "It's a wedding, don't be such a sour puss."
"He's just disappointed that you two aren't getting married," teased Isabelle.
Jace turned a faint pink. "No I'm not Isabelle."
"That's not what I heard you telling Aaaaaleeeeec," she sang.
Will came up behind Jace and wrapped an arm around his shoulders. "Ooo has lover boy fallen completely for our red headed lass?"
Jace pushed his arm off. "Bug off."
"We're at the church, you need to behave," said Alec.
The group sat down near the back. Magnus was already at the altar with the priest, back turned. A few more people came in and then the music started up and everyone stood as Lily came down the aisle. She was beaming as she came down the aisle, the perfect actress. She made her way to the end and Magnus turned to face her. The two shared a knowing glance and Alec saw Magnus glance in his direction. He gave him a wink before facing Lily again.

Will had been picked for chauffeur duty for the day and was in charge of getting Ragnor, Catarina and Tessa back to the Manor for the after wedding celebrations. He had been avoiding the shared duty on days he knew Tessa was going out. He couldn't get out of it today, so his Tessa avoiding streak was going to end. He pulled the car around and opened the door so that Ragnor and Catarina could get in. Tessa was lagging behind as she had been talking to Simon. Will saw as she waved good bye and got to the car. He didn't glance at her as he continued held the door open. She tried to get into the car, but was having trouble. Will knew he had to help her and he walked around the door and offered his hand to her. She stared at his hand before accepting it. Will felt goosebumps spread across his skin and looked up. She was staring back at him and he watched as pale pink patches spread across her cheeks. Will smiled and she grinned back. Tessa made it into the car and Will shut the door.

"I'm back," shouted Will as he came in the door. Isabelle nearly tackled him. "By the Angel, I'm glad to see you. I need you to go upstairs now."
"Why all the rush," he asked.
Isabelle ran a hand through her hair. "We can't find Alec. The boys and Henry are upstairs serving. Henry is having Charlotte sit down. Helen, Julian, Clary and Aline are finishing up dishes down here. Cecily and Sophie are trying to find Alec and I've been here, waiting for you to come back so I could tell you all of this."
Will leaned in to whisper in Isabelle's ear. "Have they looked in Lord Alicante's room?"
Isabelle shook her head. "No, I sent Sophie to the men's rooms and Cecily to the women's on the off chance he might have gone to my room. I didn't want to send them to Lord Alicante's room on the off chance Alec is saying good bye to him."
"Good call, and if you find him send him upstairs."
"I will. Now get up there yourself." Isabelle turned and made her way for the stairs. She dashed up them and down the hall to Magnus's room. She opened the door and thankfully, or unthankfully, it was empty. She sighed at the lack of her brother's presence, but she got an idea. She grabbed the top suitcase that was on the bed and opened it. On top of the clothes was an envelope with 'Magnus' written on it in her brother's scrawl. She ripped it open, not caring that she was invading what could possibly be a sweet good bye missive. Isabelle began to read and read faster and faster until she finished.

The boys had gone back downstairs to refill glasses when Isabelle came running down the stairs with tears down her face. Will set his tray down and went over to her. "Are you all right? Is it about Alec?"
She nodded and gulped down some air. She took a shaky breath before speaking. "He's left."
A/N: Bum, bum, buuum! The next few chapters might take a bit to get up since I still have to edit them, but I promise you hopefully won't have to wait too long.
