On the next iWant Him: The battle is not yet over between Carly and Sam (and probably Trina), as they try of something more intense that their fight will once again get out of hand. Meanwhile, the exchange period is kinda over as Martin Foster comes back to Seattle, and was 'forced' to fix Larry and Francine's broken relationship.
Final Countdown: NINE!
Chapter Twenty-nine: iFix Larry and Francine
Eleven fifty-eight in the morning, and after three consecutive classes, Freddie is now on his last class for the day, which is with Larry's ninth grade class.
"Okay" Freddie started "we finished our lesson of the day, and we still have two minutes to spare, so you know what that means" he added as he gave the students seated in the front row a blank sheet of paper each. "Cut those papers into four, take a piece, and give the remaining three to the people behind you" he instructed as the students just followed his lead, not really saying a word. "Number your papers one to ten" he added as all got their pieces of paper "and kindly answer these questions: One, who was the leader of the Civil Rights Movement from 1963 to 1968? Two, who was the heroine who actually started the Civil Rights Movement after refusing her seat to a white man? Three, how many days did the bus boycott which happened afterwards last? Four, give me the exact dates when the boycott started, and when it ended. Five, where exactly in Alabama did the events in question 2 happen? Six, what is the title of the inspirational speech that the person in question number 1 gave in the midst of the Civil Rights Movement? Seven, cite at least one difference between the Civil Right Movement and the movement against slavery during the American Civil War. Eight, if you were that person in question number two, would you be doing the same thing? Nine, give me the title of this topic, and ten, my full name" Freddie said, giving all the questions as his students right away wrote their answers.
"Okay, class, please pass your papers forward" he said as he received all his students' test papers "I'll be giving you your pop quiz results tomorrow, along with the results of your semester projects" he added as the whole class cheered. "Okay, I'll see you tomorrow" he added as his students picked up their bags and started leaving the room.
As Freddie arranges his things and prepared to leave the room as well, he was approached by a sad Larry. "Hey, kid, are you okay?"
"I just got out of a rough break-up" Larry said, frowning and all depressed.
"With who? Francine?" Freddie replied as Larry nodded. "But you and Francine broke up about a month ago!"
"Yes, but I'm still kinda depressed. Hey, what do you do at times like this?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, you kinda had sixteen relationships after Sam, and for you to have sixteen relationships, you have to get through break-ups, and sometimes, as rough as you want to kill yourself. What do you do when a girl dumps you so hard that it kills you?"
"Well, at times like that, or any time I have a problem at all that needs a little me time to cure, I drive all the way to where I went to college, Pullman, head to some 24/7 bar there called Cocktails 4 U, and from there, I would consume bottles of vodka until I pass out drunk and temporarily forget everything"
"Oh" Larry said after listening to that kind of advice "thanks, Mr. Benson. You always know what to say" Larry said as he left the room.
"Sure thing, kid" Freddie said as his student left, but realizing what Larry just said and what he could have meant, he blurted out "Wait, what?"
"Hey" Sam greeted as she came in the classroom.
"Hey" Freddie greeted back.
"So" Sam started "that looked like a breakfast gone wrong, so I brought you lunch from Momma and Cat's Specials"
"Thanks, and, very good timing, 'cause it's lunch time"
"So, let's eat" Sam said as she placed the food in the teacher's table, grabbed a chair from the front row and sat on it, as Freddie sat on the teacher's chair, and they enjoyed the food. Finally, a successful lunch date for Sam and Freddie inside Ridgeway, and that means Sam has two points and is once again leading the battle between her and Carly.
Meanwhile, in Larry and Francine's after-lunch class, which is Social Studies with Ms. Mason, Francine did what she always do ever since the break-up: sit on the backmost seat, preparing to not talk to Larry for the entire period.
However, during the roll call, "Shay, Larry" Ms. Mason called, but nobody raised his hand or said 'present'. "He's absent, ma'am" some of the students responded.
"What?" Ms. Mason said in a surprised tone "Larry has never been absent in class"
"Well" Francine raised her hand "maybe he's just late for class"
"But, he never late for class, either. Anyway" Ms. Mason said as she continued doing the roll call. However, class ended and Larry did not come to class or anything, and as she tried to deny it, Francine is indeed worried about him.
As she walked into the main hallway to get to her next class, she started searching the hallway for Larry, until she saw Alice crossing by her. "Hey, have you seen Larry?" she said as she crossed by Alice.
"No, sorry, haven't seen him, and I thought the two of you broke up?"
"Well, yeah, but he skipped class, and he never skips class, I'm starting to worry about him"
"It means that you still care for him even after what he did to you"
"It does not!"
"Okay, imagine Larry hanging on a broken window washer's platform up the fourteenth floor of Bushwell Plaza" Alice said, testing Francine.
"Oh my God, I hope he's okay, I'm gonna save him for God's sake!" Francine freaked out, actually falling for it.
"See, you still do care for him"
"Okay, so what if I do? It doesn't mean that I still have feelings for him"
"Okay, what would you do if Larry sings you a romantic love song in front of the whole school, would you take him back?"
"Heck, yeah, I will"
"See?"
"Okay, can we just find Larry already?"
"Okay, but my butt's gonna be burned by Ms. Pisoff after this" Alice said as the two of them began searching the whole school for Larry. The search went on until Francine bumped into the returning Martin Foster, the guy who had been traded in to England for the exchange program.
"Hey, watch where you're going!" Martin started as Francine bumped into him.
"Okay, mister" Francine sassed "I just spent the last fifteen minutes trying to find a guy who I— Martin? You're back!"
"I thought you're gonna be in London for like until next Friday?" Alice added.
"I acted out a homesick sickness and it forced Palmridge High to send me back here"
"Why?" Francine asked curiously.
"Cause I hate London. Too much British boyband fandom and addiction, and crazy psycho fan girls make me sick! So, did I miss anything here?"
"Yeah, probably" Francine sighed as she started narrating "when you got traded in to London, Larry was drooling at that pretty British girl that you got traded in with"
"Yeah, Joy Henderson"
"Yup. So, he was like totally following Joy around, until I caught the two of them kissing, so I broke up with him, but now, I kinda want him back"
"Awww… that's sad. Bye!" Martin said as he tried to ditch Francine and Alice, but…
"Stop!" Alice said as Martin stopped walking and turned around "I'll have you know that I just put my butt at stake here for missing ballet class with Ms. Pisoff, so you better tell us where Larry went before I offer your butt to Ms. Pisoff so she can burn it with a lighted torch"
"Alright, calm down, but I don't exactly know where he went, but I kinda passed by him and heard him say that he's gonna 'pull the man, go to a cocktail shop and drink himself to death'"
"Well, I don't really see how those clues are gonna help us here" Alice said.
"Well, sorry, that's all I've got" Martin said, raising his hands as to surrender.
"Wait" Francine suddenly snapped as she just remembered what Freddie told her when she once approached him for advice: "Ever since I attended college in Washington State University in Pullman, whenever I have problems that require a little me time, I drive to a 24/7 bar downtown called Cocktails 4 U, and from there, I will consume bottles of vodka until I pass out drunk and temporarily forget everything"
"Oh my God, I just remembered what Principal Benson told me when I once approached him for advice, and he said, whenever he has problems, he would drive to a 24/7 bar in downtown Pullman and drink until he passes out drunk! He might have told Larry the same thing and now he's headed for Pullman to go to that cocktail shop and drink himself to death!"
"Ooh, I can't miss that" Martin said as Francine and Alice tilted their heads to the right and looked at him in exasperation.
"Wait" Alice said, turning to Francine "how come you didn't drive all the way to Pullman and drink yourself to death?"
"One, I don't know how to drive a car; two, I don't even know where the heck Pullman is, and three, even if I do know how to drive and how to get to Pullman, I'm not as stupid as Larry" Francine replied "and I think that's what I like about him" she added as she turned to Martin "hey, I need you to drive us all the way to Pullman so we can follow Larry and take him back.
"Okay, let's go" Martin said flat-out.
"Wait" Francine said, a bit surprised "isn't it that the last time I checked, Martin Foster never does errands without a large payment?"
"Yes, but I told you, I can't miss Larry losing his sanity and drinking himself to death, and I'm tired of being a bully, so I wanna set things right by getting you and Larry back together. So, are we gonna stand here and create drama, or are we gonna head onto my car, head on to Pullman, prevent Larry from drinking himself to death, get the two of you back together, and probably get our butts burned by Ms. Pisoff tomorrow?"
"What are we waiting for?" Francine said "move out!" she continued as the three of them ran towards the school exit, but was held back by the security guards.
"Oh, right, we can't exit through there" Alice said "but, how about the fire exit on the second floor leading to the parking lot?" she continued as the three headed on upstairs, took the fire exit, landed safely on the parking lot, headed on to Martin's car, with Alice taking the backseat, Francine on the passenger's seat and Martin taking the driver's seat, and started heading on for Pullman.
Meanwhile, back at Ridgeway, Freddie was arranging his papers and preparing to go home. However, as he left the school grounds, he saw Carly once again standing by the door apparently waiting for him to get out.
"Hey" Carly greeted as she saw Freddie get out of the building.
"Hey" Freddie greeted back "so, where are we going today? You're not taking me back to that motel in Yakima, are you?"
"No, but I've got something better. We're going to your apartment, eat dinner, make use of the liquor paradise in your fridge, make out and then spend the night there. Now go drive your thing, so we can get there early" she said as both of them headed on to Freddie's car, and to Freddie's apartment, so that Carly may score another point in this battle (two if she successfully makes Freddie pass out drunk and do 'bad things' to him).
Meanwhile, on the drive to Pullman, Francine quickly took out her phone and started calling Larry over and over, but to no avail.
"You know, Francine" Martin started while keeping his eyes on the road "if you dated me instead of Larry, we would have driven here to have a date, instead of finding that idiot, and it would only have been the two of us in this car, without her" he added, pointing at Alice on the backseat.
"You watch it, jerkface!" Alice said in a somewhat threatening tone.
"Just drive your thing, and I'm not paying you to say something stupid!" Francine continued.
"You're not paying me at all!" Martin replied "And if you don't want me to continue driving you guys to Pullman, then we can always turn around and go back to Seattle" he added as he was about to turn the car around.
"No, no, no, keep driving!" Francine and Alice snapped simultaneously.
"That's what I thought you said" Martin said as he continued driving.
Meanwhile, at Freddie's apartment
"You may continue your paperwork and stuff, while I cook our dinner" Carly said as the two of them arrived at Freddie's place.
"And you're sure you won't mind cooking?"
"Yes, 'cause if we ever get married, I will cook you the best food you've ever tasted in your whole life"
"Well, you better get the food yummy and tasty" Freddie said as he went straight into his study room, while Carly started cooking. After forty-five minutes, all that cooking is done.
"Dinner is ready!" Carly called as she took the chicken out of the oven and placed it in the dining table as Freddie came out of his study room and sat on the dining chair, and they started eating.
Meanwhile, Martin, Francine and Alice finally arrived at Pullman, but had no idea where exactly Cocktails 4 U is located at.
"Hey" Martin started as he kept driving "any of you have your PearPads, I left mine at home"
"Sorry" Francine said "I lost mine yesterday and mom and dad are still finding it using the GPS"
"How about you, sassy?" Martin said, turning to Alice.
"First of all, my name is Alice, not Sassy, and my PearPad's in my locker. I left it there 'cause I thought I can still pick it up before I go home after class"
"Well" Francine sighed, "it's useless driving almost five hours to Pullman if we don't even know exactly where Cocktails 4 U is located"
"Well" Martin sighed "I think we would have to find that bar the old-fashioned way" he added as he pulled over into the sidewalk, opened Francine's window, and called the attention of three teenage boys about their age "Hey!"
"Hey, what'cha need?" the first guy said.
"You want us to date her?" the second guy added, puckering his lips while looking at Francine.
"No, she's my girlfriend" Martin said, trying to back the second guy off "we're here to have a date at that 24/7 bar called Cocktails 4 U, but one problem, we don't know where it is"
"Well, that's interesting" the third guy said "'cause every person who resides in Pullman knows where Cocktails 4 U is located"
"Yeah, 'cause we don't reside in Pullman, we're from Seattle, is there a problem?!" Martin said, his tone turned into an aggressive one.
"No, not at all" the first guy said, backing off a bit.
"We'll tell you where that bar is located, on one condition" the second guy added.
"Fine, what do you want?"
"I want the chick's number" guy number two answered, pointing at Francine.
"Forget it" Martin said, about to floor up, but…
"Wait" Francine said, holding back Martin, and then turned to the three boys "give me your phone"
"Wait, what are you doing?!" Martin said, trying to hold back Francine.
"Yeah, they're just gonna bother you with those texts and calls and something!" Alice whispered from the backseat"
"Trust me, guys, I got this" Francine assured as she took the second guy's phone and entered her number on it, and then gave the phone back "Here".
"Thank you" the second guy said, taking the phone back.
"Cocktails 4 U, straight ahead, take the third left, the building's the fifth one to your right" the third guy added as Martin continued flooring up.
"What did you do that for?!" Martin said as he drove away.
"We need to get to Larry so I can get back together with him"
"But the boys are just gonna bug you with pointless text messages" Alice added.
"No, 'cause I didn't give them my real number. I gave them Ms. Pisoff's"
Background shows Ms. Pisoff being called by the guys that Francine encountered earlier, and then throwing her phone away.
Meanwhile, back at Freddie's apartment, Carly and Freddie are done with the dinner, and are now about to drink a little bit.
"Hey" Freddie started as he finished his meal "can you get me a glass of gin?"
"Sure" Carly said as she took a glass, and did her plan: instead of the gin that Freddie was asking, she took a can of killer vodka, which contains 78.5% alcohol, and can instantly make a person pass out drunk, which she secretly kept in her pocket, and that's what she poured into Freddie's glass. After she poured the killer vodka, she placed the glass in front of Freddie.
However, as Freddie was about to drink it, he noticed something "are you trying to make me drunk so you can take advantage of me?"
Carly was caught off-guard. How did he know? "No, not at all!" she said nervously.
"You think I didn't know the smell of killer vodka? I think you should go, date's over"
"But, wait, we haven't made out yet!"
"Well, why don't you think of a way on how to make out with me without killing me with vodka" he said, sending Carly out.
Frowning and all, Carly took her jacket and left, but that still left her bittersweet, as she scored another point in the battle, although she failed to make it two instant points.
Meanwhile, Martin, Francine and Alice finally made it to Cocktails 4 U, after more than five hours of driving. However, they were too late. Larry's had his face down, and he is surrounded with about six empty bottles of vodka.
"Well, we did make it" Martin said as they all saw Larry.
"And our butts will surely be burned at stake tomorrow" Alice added.
"But we're not sure if you and Larry are going to get back together today" Martin added.
"Okay, guys, you know what to do" Francine said as they all approached Larry.
"Slap him until he wakes up?" Alice suggested, as Francine shook her head.
"Carry him into my car and bring him back to Seattle so he can rest at your place and my job here is done?" Martin suggested as Francine nodded her head.
"On three…" Francine said.
"One" Martin started.
"Two" Alice continued.
"Three" the three of them said as they started carrying Larry's drunk body.
"Wait" Francine snapped as the three of them stopped "what about Larry's car?"
"We tow it" Martin said as they continued bringing Larry into the backseat with Alice, and then started driving back to Seattle.
