Saemus's jaw dropped as he finally took a glimpse inside.

"Maker..."

Qunari were either killing, or dragging the unwilling with them. Not saying there wasn't a array of casualties among their own kind, but it was clear who was winning right now...

"No... NO! Why would the Arisok do such a thing?!" Saemus cried, tears filled into his eyes as he nearly dropped me

Slipping out of his hands, I changed back, looking around with human eyes.

"I have a feeling Petrice is behind all this..."

"She HAS been irritating them lately, but then again, so has the whole city. No one wants them here..."

I looked back to Saemus.

"I know, but whatever the reason is, I think we should see if delivering you to the Arisok might stop these attacks!"

"But my father...!"

"Please trust me, Saemus, I know. We have to hurry, though! Come on!"

Changing into a horse, I urged him to ride, galloping as fast as I could to the Viscount's office, since that was the only lead I had.

But it was SWARMING with Qunari.

"Please... Please let me try to reason with them...!"

Sighing, I changed back before allowing the Viscount's son approach them.

"Fellow followers of the Qun! It is I, Saemus the Viddathari! Why are you attacking the city?!"

The normally expressionless grey giants eyes grew wide, seeing him.

"Come. The Arisok will want to see you."

Knowing that if I had approached, they would have tried to kill me, I watched from the shadows, making sure the boy was safe until he was out of sight with them. Changing into a dog, I ran all the way to Dark Town, hoping everyone was alright.

Please be alive... Anders... Garrett... Varric... Fenris...

I dashed first to Fenris's home, since he was the closet to where I was, no signs of him returning from his home all day.

Somewhat relieved, I dashed down into Lowtown, weaving through the crowd as they ran amok.

"KELLY! KELLY, WHERE ARE YOU?!"

I knew that voice anywhere.

Spotting the feathery vest, I bolted towards the blonde mage, and nearly tackled him over as I covered him in wet, sloppy dog kisses.

"Wha-? KELLY! THERE YOU ARE!"

I smiled.

"Yes I am. Are you ok...?"

He nodded, standing up.

"The Qunari began to attack because they thought Saemus was dead, and also because they're looking for something..."

"I saw, and Saemus is alive. I saved him before Petrice could get her hands on him."

"Wait, if you saved him... Then who's body did we see in the Chantry...?"

I looked at him in shock, then growled.

"Blood magic. They must have sacrificed one of their own, used blood magic to make him LOOK like Saemus, and blamed the Qunari for killing him."

"We may never know, since she and her loyal subjects are all dead. Garrett has been trying to protect people from their attack since it started, along with Varric and Fenris. Merrill is helping people find a safe place to hide, and Aveline is using the Guard in Hightown to keep the Qunari from coming any further into Lowtown or Dark town."

"Where's Isabela?"

"Maker, I have no clue! I'm not her babysitter!"

I kicked the ground.

"Knowing Isabela, she most likely has the item the Qunari wants, which is why she ran, and they're combing the city! Why they are probably the ones who were attacking her ship all those years ago! EVERYTHING MAKES SENSE NOW!"

"Either way, we probably should group up with Hawke, and see if he can talk with the Arisok about stopping the attack."

"Agreed. Let's just hope we're not too late! Saemus was brought to the Arisok safe and sound, so at least he knows that he's alive now."

Anders nodded, as the two of us went searching for our Ferelden friend.
