AN: Back. Stories going to be over very soon.
Two hours had passed until the frozen sculptures of those frozen in the hall began to dissolve back into their normal selves. La Muerte and Xibalba had been waiting the entire time and were relieved that the spell was finally wearing off. Dracula was last to dissolve and once a ray of light passed through him, he regained consciousness and took a few steps back with confusion; as if he was unaware that he had been frozen in the first place. However, something was off...
Elsa wasn't there beside him.
"Elsa! Where is she?!" Dracula panicked as he tried to figure out which hall he knew she had been taken down. Knowing the Snow Queen himself, she could be anywhere within the hotel, with his second and only shot at loving somebody once again. Mavis didn't approve of his panicked state and began to try and calm him down while Perry and Xibalba were eyeing him with a puzzled expression.
"Relax dad, relax." his daughter instructed, "Breathe in..."
The two vampires inhaled sharply together.
"Breathe out."
The two vampires now exhaled softly together and that's when Dracula felt less tension on his shoulders. His eyes darted over to where Norman and the others were located and seeing the young boy now feeling better sent that worry away once and for all. Mavis gasped with delight before flashing over to the young boy and hugging him in a tight embrace. "Norman!"
Sandra had a smile plaster over her face as she heard her son giggle and laugh once again. Mavis stopped twirling and set him down back on his feet before turning back to her dad to see if he was ready to go rescue Elsa. He nodded his head in agreement before he and his daughter took off in the other direction straight down to the lobby. Even though they left quicker than they had anticipated, the others knew they had an important mission to do.
"Good luck." Norman wished with a smile as they kept their eyes locked on the hallway they had left.
"Remember Mavy to not let anything she do get to you. She's very good at doing those kinds of things."
"How do you know her like this?"
"Who wouldn't recognize a real monster when you see one?" he replied as soon as the elevator dinged to a stop. "Now let us-"
When the door opened, they were greeted with a harsh snow breeze coming all the way from the hotel's front doors and the two vampires covered their eyes to protect them as they began to walk out from the elevator with caution.
In the blizzard, the two noticed all the blue figures that turned out to be their friends once the snow had began to subside and Frank caught Dracula's eye first. He felt guilt and sorrow fill him as he couldn't help but head over to him and pat his friend's shoulder. "I'm sorry for what has happened to you, but I will fix this I promise."
"Dad...Is there something you know about the Snow Queen?"
Dracula turned around to face his curious child. "No of course not Mavy, why would you think such a thing?"
She shrugged. "I figured only someone you know who's really mad at you about something would do something like this." she gestured to their surroundings.
Dracula sighed, "Okay...maybe there is something, but I'll tell you once it's all over, alright honey?"
She nodded. "Just as long as you promise to tell me. Now ready to go?"
He nodded. "Yes, but let's focus more on our," he paused as he transformed into a bat, "Batty senses."
She giggled and transformed as well before flying off after her dad as he was flying rather quicker and faster than usual.
Elsa was thrown to the floor rather aggressively as her body nearly ached upon being nearly abused by this enraged, angry woman who shared similar powers to her in every way.
"I grow tired of this. I want this place to go down, and you being the first to perish!"
"Please...don't hurt anyone. We use our powers for good." Elsa replied weakly as she tried to get up. The Snow Queen had her eye twitch with rage and shot at her stomach before creating an orb that was ready to finish off the queen of Arendelle once and for all.
"Sometimes my dear...we were born to be the opposite. Even if we were ever the same."
"Stop!"
The Snow Queen spun around and saw Mavis and Dracula standing a few feet away from her just before the count zoomed towards Elsa and attempted to help her up. Mavis on the other hand, punched the snow queen in the face as she fell back with a large thud. Elsa moaned uncomfortably as she finally got to her feet and held a hand to her injured stomach.
"Are you alright?" he asked.
"Y-Yes. We...need...to stop her."
"I couldn't agree with you more your highness." he grinned as he and the queen got in their ready positions to finish the monster off. Mavis came to their side just before she could regain her strength and just as she attempted to shoot Dracula, Elsa used her power to use it against her; her magic suddenly strong enough and well once again.
"W-What happened?" she asked, surprised.
"Your powers probably admire me." Dracula joked. Elsa rolled her eyes playfully before they continued their fight with the angered Snow Queen, who was becoming a fun obstacle to easily win.
As she tried to aim for the two vampires and Elsa, she decided to create three ice replicas of them and ordered them in a different language to fight against them. She stood off to the side to regain her strength while the six now began to verse one another. The only issue with these ice replicas was that they also obtained the same abilities and powers equipped as their original copies; Elsa's being the most difficult to defeat.
They happened to be tougher than they realized and with Elsa's pain in her stomach from the abuse the Snow Queen had done to her, the three were no match for the glass replicas. Dracula wasn't too happy about that and tried his best to motivate his sweetheart.
"No no no no Elsa, We must fight! We will win!"
"I...can't. It hurts." she groaned painfully.
The ice replica of the Queen of Arendelle shot a ray of ice towards Elsa, but Dracula used his cape to as a shield for her and himself and it hit her instead, turning her into piles of broken ice particles . The blonde smiled with appreciation before he informed her. "We need to get out of here."
The Snow Queen bubbled up with anger as she realized they were going to take Elsa away from her clutches once again and that they had defeated her creations. Now, she was done playing easy and another strong snow storm blew inside the hotel, strong enough to cause the entire building to fall. Snow then began to swirl around her at a rapid pace before changing her form into one she had not changed into in such a long time and as she grew larger and larger, the three had their mouths open with shock and disbelief as large white wings opened and revealed none other than,
A large menacing frost dragon.
The dragon roared strongly enough to cause the first and second floor to shake aggressively and the group upstairs grew fearful of what was going on down below with their friends. Norman and Victor recognized that noise to be one of a dragon's and decided it was best to get out of the hotel for safety purposes. As they did so, the dragon growled angrily as it scanned the three and attempted to swipe its tail to knock them off their feet or send them flying across the room.
"A dragon? Seriously?!" Dracula complained. "In my hotel?!"
"Dad, no time! Hide!" Mavis cried as the dragon tried to snatch each of them with its large hands.
"Right right!" the count replied as he hid behind the staircase to avoid being attacked. "You act like you spent a lifetime and savings working on this hotel!"
Elsa hid behind the other side of the stairs before she noticed something unusual on the dragon's chest, just atop of its heart. It was a blue pendant of some sort and it glowed occasionally each time the dragon would make a noise or blow a storm from its mouth. She then immediately came up with the only smartest idea to try and defeat this mad being once and for all. "Dracula!"
"What is it Elsa?" he asked her.
"I need you to distract her!" Elsa addressed as the dragon was sneering as it made i's way towards Mavis's hiding spot.
"For what?!" he shouted before the queen pointed to the necklace on the dragon's chest. Knowing she was wanting to do something with that, he realized he should probably listen to her. "Oh okay! Distract the dragon I see!"
As he transformed into a bat and flew up towards the dragon, he sat himself on the edge of her snout and the dragon froze with surprise as he began to speak to her.
"Did you know your eyes sparkle like crystals? Why, I'd like nothing else but to-"
The dragon shook its head to rid of him off her nose, but he remained on and it was beginning to give her a tickling sensation as he kept just above her nostrils. "Oh, darling don't be like this. I just want to look into your eyes!"
As the dragon remained distracted and busy trying to get the count off her, Elsa was trying her best to regain her strength as she tried to form a orb between the palms of her hands. However, she still realized that she wasn't yet strong enough, and would have to find another solution into defeating the Snow Queen once and for all. All she really needed to do was just think a little.
Then it hit her.
"Mavis!"
The young vampire stopped locking her attention on her father towards the direction of the queen's voice. "What is it Elsa!"
"You have to distract her with your father! I need to aim at that pendant!"
Mavis, confused and unsure of what this was leading to, looked over to the dragon trying to shoo away her father and immediately noticed the blue pendant, glowing slightly whenever the dragon made a noise from its throat; clearly as a way of what kept the Snow Queen in the real world and capable of being alive. After all this time, why was the pendant noticeable now? Perhaps, the human form of the monster had it hidden somewhere on her body.
"Alright! But please be careful your highness!"
As Elsa sighed with relief when the young vampire decided to join in with her father, she quickly thought long and hard of what would get her strength kicking in again. Though, she hated thinking about it often as a reflection of painful memories, it was fear that needed to be used as an energy source to revive and anger her power. She panted heavily as she reflected everything from the time of when she hurt Anna, twice, the death of her parents, her coronation incident, and even of what she and other people saw in herself.
A monster.
"Monster!"
"Get back!"
"No! I'm not a monster." Elsa spoke aloud to herself, her voice shaking and filled with fear and pain.
"Hurry Elsa!" Mavis cried as the dragon attempted to eat her and Dracula with the constant snapping of its jaws.
"She's not fit enough to be a queen. She will cause death to our children!"
"I assure you that Elsa will be in full control of her powers once she learns to handle them."
"Now there's your problem! She needs to learn control when control should be learned and handled on her!"
Elsa felt herself bubbling up with pain and anger as tears fell down her eyes as she was forcing herself to relive the events of what citizens in Arendelle thought of her at the time when her parents were present in the picture.
"How could you say that to a child?"
"Because there are plenty of normal children in the world, and SHE is nothing related to normal! She is a monster!"
Elsa's eyes shot open and she felt herself suddenly change into a totally different person once again; the same time she had been against the guards and Hans that had trespassed into her castle. Deciding to take this attempt at a totally different level, she stepped out from her hiding spot and kept her fists clenched as she approached the dragon and stood a good distance away.
"No no what is she doing?!" Dracula asked with concern and anxiety as he and Mavis were flapping a few feet above the scene that was now taking place.
The dragon growled whilst grinning at the puny queen before her, knowing that she had no chance against her. Elsa kept her glare on the dragon and glanced at the pendant before hearing something she never planned to hear from the dragon.
"If you kill me, you only murder the person of what you really are."
Though she had a point, Elsa shrugged it off her shoulders and locked her eyes back into the dragon's as it took a giant step towards her, smirking. "I guess sometimes we are born the opposite. Even if we are the same."
The dragon's grin faded before its eyes darted over to the forming ball of magic growing in the palm of Elsa's hands. "No!"
Just before the dragon could react, Elsa aimed for the pendant and watched as the Snow Queen cried in agony as her body began to deteriorate and burn alive in the magic Elsa used to destroy the necklace until there was no trace left of her behind. Mavis winced upon the dragon's skin burning into nothing but non-existence while Dracula was left amazingly speechless before darting his attention over to Elsa, who was now on her knees and having her head lowered with what appeared to be guilt.
"Elsa!" the two bats both exclaimed with joy.
The queen of Arendelle lifted her head and smiled softly as the two vampires now surrounded her with proud, pleased faces as she finally defeated the enemy that caused all this trouble in the first place. The count helped her on her feet and returned a smile moments before the frozen lobby began to fade away until not one speck of ice or snow was left lying around.
As monsters began to return back into their fleshy-selves, Frank happened to be one of the last few and was immediately met back facing his wife. "Oh! Hi honey, I hope-"
Frank was met with a large, passionate kiss from his wife and those that were watching chuckled a bit upon the scene. Elsa smiled amusingly minutes before a voice called her name within the crowd that she was so relieved and happy to hear. "Elsa!"
Elsa spun around and ran towards her sister. "Anna!"
As the two sisters shared a joyous embrace upon her bravery, and Mavis was now focused on giving her attention to Johnny, Drac was left standing alone and had a very pleased smile over his face as the rest of the gang came downstairs to see and reunite with those that had been frozen alive. He sighed and took one look up at the ceiling, and couldn't help but feel relieved that all this trouble was over and that he could continue enjoying himself with his daughter and the rest of their friends.
"It's done Martha. She's gone...for good."
As everyone was enjoying seeing each other's familiar faces and admiring Elsa's victory, Xibalba and La Muerte were now standing outside atop the roof of the hotel, looking into the stars and enjoying each other's company with no more worries. However, La Muerte was presuming that due to the Snow Queen's interruption, Xibalba didn't exactly have a good birthday that she had planned for.
"Balby, are you disappointed that your birthday didn't go so well?" she asked.
The tar god turned his head towards her and frowned with a unsatisfied growl. "Of course not! The decorations were horrible and thanks to that wretched queen, I didn't get the birthday I wanted!"
La Muerte's eyes fumed with rage as she eyed her husband, but it only faded away as she saw that she had been fooled. "I'm just fooling with you mi amor! I didn't mind my birthday this year and it wasn't bad either! You and that vampire outdid yourselves!"
"Oh Balby..." she cooed before pulling him in for a small kiss. "Te Nada."
The following night, it was time to say farewell to those that were guests to the hotel. Murray was balling his eyes away since he didn't wish for them to depart back home so soon because lord knows when they would return for more fun and excitement.
"I'm sorry little dude that your heart got frozen up, but hey, at least we got you to come here again right?" Johnny said as he had an arm around Mavis and gesturing towards his family. "You and the rest of the Babcocks!"
"Yeah," Norman chuckled as he turned back to the car that his family was packing their stuff in. "I know it may have been pretty dangerous, but I'm glad I get to go home and start a whole new year of school."
"Whenever you want to visit, just know I'm only 10,000 miles away." Mavis grinned as the young boy couldn't help but chuckle once more.
"Sure thing Mavis! I just know I'll come and visit very soon."
Elsa smiled as Norman was embracing his farewell to Mavis and Johnny, but gasped in surprise as she felt a sudden tugging at the end of her dress. She chuckled when she realized who it was. "Sparky!"
The undead canine knew he had been caught and immediately released her gown before sitting and wagging his tail up at her with admiration. Figuring it was a way to get her to notice him, she smiled warmly and decided to show him some goodbye love. Sparky whimpered softly as he both accepted and was sad to know she was leaving.
"Oh Sparky, you're such a good boy! You take care of your family and Victor alright? This isn't goodbye." She reassured him moments before Dracula felt it was now his turn to receive a farewell just as Sparky ran over to where Victor was saying goodbye to Frank, Eunice, Johnny, Mavis, and Charlotte.
As Anna was still inside getting her things together, The Queen of Arendelle now stood alongside the owner of Hotel Transylvania, who felt anxious to see how this was going to go. "H-Hi Elsa."
"Hello." she replied with a warm smile while looking him in the eye.
"I-I know this may have not been the best stay for you, and I apo-apo-apologize for that, and if there's anyway I can make it up to you, I-"
Elsa placed a finger to his lips and smiled as he was blushing madly upon keeping eye contact in her eyes. "I had a great time and I hope you and the rest of your friends continue to make this hotel such a great place to stay because I may just look forward to making another visit."
"S-Sure! I'll write you down immediately!"
Elsa chuckled and embraced him joyously before the crowd outside were smiling madly and feeling happy that their vampire friend had gotten another woman to hug him like his wife had. If anything were more saddening that day, it was releasing the Queen of Arendelle from his arms and letting her go into her only way back home. It was a bit hard to overcome at first, but once it was long in the past to put behind him, he felt more okay about it. Especially now that they were pen pals and would write to each other every once a couple of months, wishing to see and hold each other once again. Maybe someday, a new zing would blossom between them.
Months have passed since the Snow Queen's defeat, and Dracula smiled as he finished reading up Elsa's letter about how she was handling her business, and being an aunt to a joyous little boy Anna had just given birth to a few months back. Just as he was about to send her a reply letter, the door to the office opened and Mavis stepped in, smiling as she saw that familiar old-worn out brown piece of paper with blue sparkles on it. "She sent you another letter?"
"Of course she did. You know she loves me." He chuckled as he proceeded with putting the letter back in the envelope to see what his daughter wanted. "So what's up?"
"Oh nothing, just seeing what you were up to and thinking about what you told me 7 months ago."
"And what exactly did I tell you 7 months ago my honey bat?" Dracula replied with a tease as he drank his blood beater box.
"About what the Snow Queen's deal was with you." she finished as Dracula spat out his drink and nearly choked upon her sudden remembrance of the promise he had made to her.
"Seriously? 7 months later Mavy?"
"Yeah, 7 months of a promise now being made." she replied with a wink as her father gave her a look of unsatisfied look before sighing with defeat knowing that he couldn't betray his daughter.
"Long before your mother, your grandfather was friends with The Snow Queen's daddy, and since they were both good buddies, they thought it would be sweet if she and I met and married one another in the future. We were friends at first, but once we got older, she developed feelings for me that I wasn't ready for at the time. I broke her heart Mavy...I told her I didn't wish to be with anyone and I was my own independent man, but that all changed once I met your mother. She died by hunters when she kidnapped a small boy to become her husband and that's where she ended up with Xibalba and ended up here."
"Geez dad, I didn't know you had women chasing after your tail before mom."
Dracula chuckled with a shrug. "Hey what can I say! Your daddy is a heartbreaker!"
As Mavis rolled her eyes in response, she watched as her father took out a blank piece of crumbled paper and was prepared to use his ink pen to write a response back to Elsa that would take weeks in just to reach her. "Now since I told you of what you wished to know, what should I write to the queen?"
Mavis thought long and hard for a brief moment before finally coming up with the perfect response. "Here, what about this..."
"And as long as you keep a beating heart on this planet, just know that I will be there to pick it out of the sea."
Anna, Kristoff, the baby, and Olaf sat on Elsa's bed as they finished hearing the letter from Transylvania and were surprised at seeing the cheery expression over the queen's face.
"I'm sorry, who is this guy again?" Kristoff asked as he cradled his sleeping son in his arms.
"A friend of Elsa's that lives all the way in Transylvania. Right Elsa?" Anna asked as she stood up to stand alongside her sister.
"Yes Anna. He is a leader and a great friend."
Kristoff rolled his eyes and decided to keep his attention locked on his son with Olaf while the two sisters stepped out of the room and shut the door behind him before Anna chuckled and squealed with joy.
"Oh my gosh Elsa! He's totally into you! You have to give him the chance!"
"Oh Anna, I understand you want me to find my soulmate, but I think being good friends is what is best for us both at the moment. Plus, I don't plan on falling in love with anyone anytime soon and I don't know him so well."
Anna frowned and let her excitement fade away before coming up with another way to try and get this so-called 'Friendship' to work. Then it hit her.
"If you don't want to be in a relationship just yet, I think I know a good way for you to get to know him."
Dracula tapped his fingers impatiently as he waited for Elsa's letter to arrive through the window and was starting to worry that she either stopped writing cause she didn't feel the same way or if she had better things to do than to be chit-chatting with a vampire who would probably cause an accident at staring at that beautiful neck.
"C'mon! Come on! Where is that letter!" he growled impatiently.
A tired eyeball with bat-like wings emerged in through the open window with the letter in its claws and panted heavily as it dropped it on Dracula's desk and hurriedly ran off back to do other deeds. "Yeah, that's what I thought."
Smiling with pleasure to see what she had written back now, Dracula sliced the envelope open with a nail and took out the paper to see what she had written back, and as he read through he couldn't believe what he was seeing with his own two eyes.
Dear Count Dracula,
Boy, I'm no sure how to explain this to you since it's shorter than most of our writings and all, but I would appreciate it if I requested for you and a few guests to come to Arendelle for a week or so to celebrate my victory and to spend some quality time with the citizens of Arendelle, my sister and her family, along with myself. If it is deemed necessary, you should bring something to protect you from the bright sun that happens to shine around here. If not, I will cause snow clouds just for you to feel comfortable at being out and about whenever necessary. I look forward to seeing you in Arendelle with your friends soon!
Sincerely,
~Elsa
Dracula gulped and placed the letter back into the envelope quickly and carefully before darting his eyes slowly into the room staring straight ahead with a startled state as anxiety and fear possessed the rest of his emotions in his body with shocking disbelief.
"Oh no."
AN: THE END! Man, I don't know how long this story was going to take so I decided to throw everything in into this chapter to finish off with it and work on other projects. I don't know when the third will be up, but I know it may be a long while until I get most of my updates finished up. If I had to guess, I would say whenever I finish Frost Child, the third story will start being developed. Thank you everyone for hanging in there and reading this story! I look forward to seeing you in the next one, and feel free to read my other great creations! GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
