Had to re-upload due to some stuff I had to add, and I think updating it on April Fool's was a big mistake.
To make this quick, I just graduated from high school, and I didn't exactly move on from Dance Central, it's just that new games have been coming out (Mortal Kombat X is amazing! I pre-ordered Batman: Arkham Knight, and Rock Band 4 since they are must plays for me when it gets released, and maybe Guitar Hero Live), and I've been busy with spending time with friends and preparing for college.
Don't worry, I'm still here. :) I'll do these author's replies and give y'all this chapter!
MikuHatsuneLove: Miss you too! The party's never over (until this story ends anyway)!
DCFan4ever: Thanks! I'd figure I give Angel his time for character development, and he's a great character: in the games and this story!
Guest: I hope you're ready for the ending! Hopefully it will be good!

~Chapter Twenty-Nine: DCI vs. Tan~
(~::...::~)(~::...::~)(~::...::~)(~::...::~)(~::...::~)(~::...::~)(~::...::~)
Everyone was determined to get Luce's dance partner back. Luce was even more determined to bring peace for everyone, but also would love to be back with her dear one. With the training she's got, the brunette is ready to stop Tan for good.
Rasa managed to obtain a couple of vans for the agents so they wouldn't worry about making two trips to enter Tan Corps. He was driving the one that's ahead, and Lima driving in the second one, hurrying to catch up to him. As much as it would be nice for the tension to take time to build, the vans already made it to the parking lot of Tan's building, and before all of them made it out of the vans, they, except for Rasa, Lima, and Luce, put on their helmets. Once that occurred, everyone headed out of the vehicles and went into the main hall, the leader of DCI gripping Lima and Luce's arms to make it look like he's captured them.
The man at the front desk nearly fell off his chair and rubbed his eyes to make sure he was seeing clear. He cleared his throat before speaking.
"R-Rasa?! But - what?" Rasa grinned darkly.
"Yes, I'm back. And I've brought some bait behind me, but these two I have here almost escaped. I would like to see Dr. Tan so that he can help take care of these two ladies." The young man swallowed a lump from his throat, and nodded.
"Head to the elevator, and what about those in the helmets?"
"Let them stay down here until I get Tan to take care of these two. Just make sure that they stay where they are, since our leader is the mastermind of the helmets." The young man nodded from his statement, and used his finger to direct the three to the elevator. Once the DCI leaders and Luce made it into the elevator, and when the doors closed, Rasa removed his grip from the two women. With the press of a button, Rasa smiled at the two. "And that's how you trick an employee when you used to work here, ladies." Lima smiled while Luce chuckled, stretching to relieve the stress that coursed through her when they entered the hall.
"I certainly hope that the others can distract the people downstairs so that they won't come up here," Lima stated, crossing her arms while they look at the view of outside, looking so grim, yet bright due to the light gray clouds and sun. The African-American placed a hand on his assistant's shoulder and gave her a pleasant smile.
"That's why we picked them to be agents, Lima. They know what to do." The older brunette smiled and nodded at his response, looking at Luce afterwards, who's arms are crossed and dark eyes staring into the horizon of the view outside.
"We'll get him back, Luce," she assured her sweetly. When Luce heard her name, she looked at the DCI agent and smiled back, but sighed nervously, her smile fading.
"...I'll do whatever it takes to get Oblio away from him. I swear on my mother's grave." Rasa and Lima gasped from her sudden response, and before the DCI leader could say anything, the elevator dinged, meaning the doors are about to open. Without warning, even though they know it will happen to trick the doctor, Rasa gripped Lima and Luce's arms and they stepped forward toward the evil mastermind's office. The three could see his face from the window's reflection, and the look on his face looks puzzling.
Rasa gave the two ladies a fake push to make it look like they were on their knees, and the two looked up at Rasa, then at Dr. Tan. "Dr. Tan, sir," Rasa said, his emerald eyes brightening with mischief, "I have decided to come back to you after realizing your goal. You were right all along and I should of stayed with you. I hope you can forgive me by giving you my gift: these talented young ladies." The doctor turned around and smiled evilly.
"This is an unfortunate event, I do say so myself," Tan replied. His brown eyes looked at Lima, then at Luce, which made his smile bigger. "Well, well, well! It looks like my son will reunite with this darling creature!" With the snap of his fingers, he added, "My son! Come out here! I have a treat for you!"
Luce gulped, and as she and Lima stood up and dust themselves off, footsteps kept on getting louder and louder, until she sees a familiar face, which made Luce's blood boil with relief.
He's all right... Luce thought to herself, her heart thudding like a drum. Oblio is still himself, but in clothing that doesn't match his personality. The suit does look good on him, but Oblio's more of a free spirited person and not a confined one. When he noticed his sparrow staring straight at him, his mouth opened in shock.
"Luce!" He ran to her and embraced her, the brunette being caught off guard and stayed there frozen. Her heart was content to have herself in his arms again, but now is not a great time. But... she couldn't help but hold him back, her head buried deep in his chest. She's home... for now.
"Anyway. How about it?" Rasa asked, smiling mentally seeing the two dancers reunited. Dr. Tan shrugged.
"If my son is happy to see his dear dancer, then I guess you have a deal. However..." the doctor paused, pressing a button on his desk, and several clicks can be heard, and then a robot appeared, this time in gold and pink. "This is my lovely creation, Bernice. She will be your three's test to be deemed worthy to join us." The doctor laughed so menacing, it annoyed his son by letting go of Luce and glaring at him. "Come on, Rasa! This is the most cliched trick ever! It's not even April Fool's Day! Now that I have the best dancers locked in here, you all will slowly have your energy drained when you have to face my lovely Bernice! Those that came with you are probably in my control now!"
Luce and Lima looked shocked when the doctor found out about their trick. The DCI leader's assistant used her earpiece to get in touch with the others.
"Riptide, D-Coy, Lu$h, Flash4wrd, Hi-Def! Can y'all hear me?!" All Lima got was static, which made her more nervous. But then a voice picked up.
"Lima? Thank God!" Mo's voice called out. Luce gasped when she heard her friend's voice.
"Mo! Is everyone else okay?!" Lima asked with caution.
"It's just me and Angel, unfortunately. The others are in mind control!" Rasa clenched his teeth with anger. He pressed the button on his earpiece.
"Mo, Angel, if you two have Boomy, use the music we practiced with to get them back from the mind control, and please be careful."
"Yes sir!" Mo and Angel replied. With that, Rasa, Luce, and Lima stood beside each other, and whatever music Tan decides to play will be the outcome of the dance world's fate. All Oblio could do is support them in spirit, but when the time is right, he'll do his best to help them, especially Luce.
"Hmm... Let's see if you three can handle this!" Dr. Tan used a remote to play a song, and the beat was smooth, yet serious. The song was a familiar one: "Twisted" by Usher and Pharrell. It made Luce nervous, because she hadn't practice this song much, but with the help of the DCI crew, she knows that they won't be taken down. Bernice copied their moves perfectly, but the stress of three people against the poor robot made itself receive a little shock.
The bluenette noticed that the weak spot is at the torso area, so movement around there would help shut down the robot. Pretending that he's giving his father advice, he went up to him and said, "Maybe my song choice can help them surrender." His father smiled, but his eyes looked worried for his robot.
"Very well, my son." Once he gave Oblio the remote, Oblio grinned, pressing a button on it, and a song played to where his dance partner recognized it. Luce knows the techno sound. She looked at her crew partner when he played that song.
Oblio? Our first battle song?
It was indeed "Satisfaction" by Benny Benassi. Is there a reason why he picked this song? Was it for Luce to win this dance battle with the other two? Whatever it was, the three did the routine and when the freestyle section came up, Luce got a good look at the robot's core. It was sparking, and it made Luce realize what they must do to stop it.
"Rasa, Lima! We need to use our chests to damage it!" Luce replied, and with an instant response, the three did freestyles focusing on their chest to tire out Bernice.
"Blasphemy!" Dr. Tan yelled, stopping the music. When it stopped, so did the four, but the robot began to shut down... permanently. His eyes turned to fire and he was in denial. "Bernice, my creation! My tribute to my late wife!" He looked at the three, specifically Lima and Luce, who were panting from the nonstop dancing. Out of his pocket, he took out something on a whim. He started to run to the DCI crew. "Let's see how this feels, Rasa!" he yelled, using a taser to give Lima a surprise shock, and her reaction was still.
"Lima!" Rasa yelled, seeing his assistant, dance partner, and dear friend fall to the ground after the impact of the electrifying object jabbed at her stomach. It may have not ended her life, but who knows when she could wake up from that. "Tan, damn you, you old bastard!"
Father, you've gone mad! Oblio thought to himself, surprised by what he's done to Rasa's dance partner. His father wasn't finished yet, because his grin became wider and he flicked the switch to see the electricity still going on. He laughed insanely and was aiming towards Luce, walking to her slowly.
"I hope you'll have a fun time being shocked to death like the other one!" the doctor said madly, running to the helpless brunette as she pants from the dance against the robot. Oblio's heart raced when he sees his father preparing his taser and speeding to his love. Without a second thought, the bluenette hurried to defend Luce and felt a stinging shock course through his body, leaving Luce to watch with horror in her eyes. His blue eyes looked dead straight into her brown eyes, and before she could move, she opened her mouth to speak.
"No!"
With a thud, Luce managed to catch Oblio into her arms, but she went down with him, due to his weight being larger than hers. Luce screamed, clutching onto Oblio. Luce can feel herself withdraw from the environment around her, and her senses became dull.

~Chapter Thirty coming soon...~
(~::...::~)(~::...::~)(~::...::~)(~::...::~)(~::...::~)(~::...::~)(~::...::~)
The reason why this is a bit shorter than I expect it to be is because I want the last chapter to have the climax be in between this chapter and the upcoming one. That way, the resolution will be more effective in the next chapter. It's strange that I have this idea for months, but not finish writing it until now. That's what I get for being lazy and busy. :/ So I hope you enjoy this chapter and review if you like! One more chapter you guys! I'm surprised that this is almost over, and it will be the end of another great story coming to an end.
Depending on my mood to update this story, I might add in some more stuff to this chapter to make it a bit longer, but for now, it's the way it is. :P
I hope to see you all in the last chapter!
