It's been five days since Christian proposed to me and paparazzi have started to go insane when they spotted me and my ring three days ago while having dinner with Christian at a restaurant.

Luke has been by my side since. Literally by my side. I go nowhere without him if I did, I'd probably get attacked.

The buzz on my phone distracts me and when I check its Kate who sent me a text.

Might want to search up your name. It's getting crazier!

Kate has kept me up to date with what's been put out there and it's been a lot.

I open up the browsers and type in my name and find three new articles.

Anastasia Steele snagged up Christian Grey?

Mr. Grey got on his knee for a special lady.

Anastasia is probably digging for gold.

I click on the third article and begin to read.

Anastasia is probably digging for gold.

Is Anastasia Steele a gold digger? Over a month ago they were seen cozy at Elliot and Kate Grey's wedding and now they're engaged. Hmm.. Who gets engaged so quick? She's either after the money or pregnant.

What the fuck, this is one of the dumbest articles I've read in a while! And does it even make sense!?

But, fuck! I am pregnant! And when people find out I am this is going to come back and get worse.

I send Christian and email this this article with the subject "I am Pregnant.."

Less than two minutes later I get a call.

"Anastasia, why are you reading this bullshit?" He asks the moment I pick up.

"Cause I have to know."

"You and I both know this isn't true."

"I know.. But I am pregnant, Christian, and when they find out this is all going to come back.."

"I'll handle it. I'll see you at home, love you."

"Love you too"

I decide to call my dad. I need to talk to him.

"Daddy?"

"Hey princess, what's up?"

"Oh dad, the paparazzi and articles are getting worse."

"Don't listen to those." He says. "They're nothing but trash."

"Dad.. The thing is that one of them talks about how we might be getting married because I'm pregnant. And daddy, I am pregnant.. But that's not the reason we're getting married.."

Dad is silent.

"Dad..?"

"You're pregnant?"

"Yeah.. But I promise you dad it's not the reason we're getting married. Christian had bought the ring even before I dropped the bomb on him."

"Wow, you're pregnant. You're going to make a grandpa?" He asks.

"Of course, old man." I say smiling.

"Don't listen to those articles princess, they're nothing but pure shit. You and Christian know your feelings for each other. They don't. I love you, okay? I'm always here."

"I love you too, daddy. Thank you. Oh, come over for dinner tonight. I feel bad for telling you over the phone"

"Oh, no its fine honey. At least you told me. And no, thank you! I'm going to be a grandpa! I'll for sure see you later on at dinner. You know I love seeing you every chance I get" He chuckles then hangs up. I'm glad he took the news well.

The next day Christian sends out a statement confirming that we're are engaged but to please give us space and privacy. He also politely asked to stop with the rumors about me.

I doubt they'll do but it's nice of him to even try.

We decided to tell his whole family about my pregnancy tonight. I already told my dad, Luke knows, Kate knows and I texted Carla about it earlier today. She was happy but it still weird having her back.

We're now on our way to Christian's parents house and we decided to announce it in the middle of whatever conversation we'll be having to throw them off. Kate knows we'll be announcing I had let her know earlier so she's excited to see their reaction.

When we arrive Grace immediately greets is and let's us know dinner is about to be served. We all walk to the dinning table and take a seat.

"So, how are you guys dealing with paparazzi?" Carrick asks.

"It's annoying and I wish they would give us privacy but we're handling it as much as we can" I answer.

"Do you guys know when do you want to get married?" Grace asks.

"Well last night Christian said December the latest," I let out a small laugh. "So maybe the first weekend of December? Maybe December 3rd?"

"Lovely, we'll have enough time to plan everything. Wait.. Big or small?" Mia asks.

"Small," I say. "With my history with.. Weddings.. I want the total opposite of what I first planned with.. Him. So I want a small intimate wedding. Just family and close friends. Nothing more nothing less. I haven't discussed this with Christian yet since I just thought of it today but I was wondering if we would get married here. I want the ceremony and reception to be held here."

"Oh," Grace says smiling. "Of course! Oh honey, wouldn't that be lovely" she turns to Carrick.

"Absolutely. Grace always loves to run with any opportunity to host a party" we all laugh.

During dinner we talk about wedding decorations and I say that as long as there's deep red roses everywhere I don't care what the decorations are. Grace and Mia say that they'll take on the decorations and cake as a surprise for Christian and I. We both nod trusting they'll do a wonderful job picking out both. I told Mia and Kate to be bridesmaid and maid of honor. Jess, Lily and Shay are also going to be bridesmaid. They're close friends of mine and I want them part of my big day.

"What color should our dresses be?" Mia asks.

"Black." I answer.

"Black!?" Kate squeals.

"Yeah, I think black, red, and white will love lovely together. I think black can be such an elegant color. Plus you'll be holding red roses bouquet so it'll match beautiful."

"I agree" Grace adds. "We can go dress hunting in two weeks!"

"Great," I say.

"Baby don't you think it's best you wait a little longer to get your wedding dress?" Christian asks and I know where he's going with this. I'm trying to hold back my smile. "You'll be about four months along"

"You're right, I might gain a few pounds by the time December rolls around" I add.

"Whoa whoa whoa.. BACK UP!" Mia screams. "Four months along? Gain a few pounds?"

"Oh my goodness.." Grace says.

"Holy fuck, bro.. Are you guys expecting?" Elliot adds.

"Surprise?" I laugh.

"Oh my goodness, Carrick! We're going to be grandparents!" Grace looks like she's about to burst into tears.

"Wait, is this the reason you both-"

"No!" Christian and I cut Mia off.

"I had the ring before she dropped the bomb on me. I was nervous to propose because I knew how it would look like but I still did it." Christian says looking down at me with a smile.

Grace gets up and quickly comes and hugs us. In tears, by the way. Then Mia and Elliot congratulate us.

"What do you want it to be?" Kate asks.

"Boy!" Christian says quickly "I don't know if I can handle a little girl yet" we all laugh and he shakes his head "I'm serious!"

"I know baby I know," I tell him. "But what if it's a girl,"

"Pray for me" we all laughs once again. I know he doesn't mind if the baby is boy or girl as long as it's healthy.

At the end of the night we start heading home.

When we arrive we head straight to our room, undress and go to bed.

"I love you baby,"

"I love you too" I say and we drift off to a beautiful slumber.

It's Sunday afternoon and I invited Lily, Jess and Shay over. I'll be announcing my engagement and pregnancy to them. I'll also be telling them how I want them to be bridesmaid. Mia and Kate should be arriving at the same time as them. We're having a girls day. I'm excited.

When they all arrive I let them into the dinning room. Christian is out for the day with Elliot, Ethan and Luke. Yup, he's been getting closer to Luke. I love it!

"This place is huge! Anyways," Lily says. "What's the big news. Get it it I don't think I can wait any longer."

"Fine fine," I start "I'm getting married and you're all part of the bridal party. Kate and Mia already knew that since I told them two days ago. You ladies will be wearing a black dress."

"FINALLY!" Shay says. "I don't know why people think black dresses for a wedding can't be elegant and beautiful."

"I'm glad you like my choice" I giggle. "Mia and Grace will be taking charge or decorations and cake choice and want to surprise Christian and I but of course I'm in charge of dress choice."

"Well duh," Mia says. "Mom and I will do great. You'll see!"

"I'm sure you both will do a wonderful job."

Gail comes by serving us lunch. Afterwards I invite her to sit with us but she tried to declined the invitation. Being the stubborn person I am I beg her to just chill out with us and she gives in.

"I also have some other news."

"What is it?" Jess asks.

"I'm pregnant and no it's not why we're getting pregnant. I'm kind of tired of hearing that already to be honest."

"No fucking way!?" Jess squeals "I'M PREGNANT TOO! Oh my god! This is so cool and weird. I was going to take the opportunity to tell you guys today."

"So who's next?" Lily asks and we all look at Kate.

"Nope. Not me. Not yet. Nopeee" she shakes her head. "I'll leave motherhood for both of you. I'm still too scared to become a mom."

"So am I!" Jess and I say at the same time.

"I still need some time." I nod knowing why she needs time.

"Ana, ever since you've come into our lives you've brought happiness and I want to thank you for that" Gail tells me. "I'm so glad that you're here with all of us right now."

"Thank you, Gail." I smile at her. "I'm glad I can be sitting with all of you this very moment."

The rest of the day goes by great. Gail made cocktails for everyone except for Jess and I. Shay and Kate end up getting drunk while Lily is just a bit buzzed up. When the guys arrives I see Brandon decided to join the guys out to day.

Brandon comes over and hugs me tight congratulating me on everything and I congratulate back then takes his lovely wife home. Luke is amused by drunk Shay and buzzed up Lily and takes them home as well.

"Kate how drunk are you" Elliot asks laughing.

"I don't know man you tell me" she gets up and walks but not in a straight line. "Shit pretty fucking drunk."

"Time to get you home," he says. "Bye you two."

"Bye I tell him."

"How was you day?" I ask Christian

"Great, I officially asked the rest of the guys to be groomsmen."

"I'm glad you did." I tell him. "Had a fun day out?"

"Yeah, we went for drinks that's it. But it's nice having some guy time."

"I want to talk to you about something?" I begin to get nervous. I don't know what to do about this situation.

"What is it?"

"Should I invite Carla?" I come out with it.

"Oh.. That. Hmm.. I think you should."

"Why?" I ask.

"Carla is back and she's really trying to make an effort. You don't want to look back and say 'I should've invited my mom'. She wasn't at the wedding because she was missing. She wasn't at the wedding because she wasn't invited. I'm sure that will hurt you more than if she was still missing."

"I know.. But I don't want her to think she's quickly forgiven."

"I know she won't think that. She knows you're not ready and for her to be forgiven requires to take baby steps. You inviting her is a baby step. You're showing her you're willing to try as well."

"You're right. I'm going to invite her. After all, I am her daughter and I know for a fact she wouldn't want to miss this day." I look at him and grab his hand. "She'll be the only person missing and I don't want that to be my fault. She's back and making an effort. Now it's my turn to do something."

"You know Luke has been talking to her a lot, right?" I nod. "She asks for you. He told me today."

"She does?" Tears fill my eyes.

"Luke told me how she always asks how you're doing and if you're okay every time they talk. What you're mom did was fucked up but it's obvious she regrets it a lot."

"Oh man," now I'm crying. "I don't hate her Christian. I really don't. It just hurts to think about how she left me. All these years without my mom and all of a sudden she's back!"

He cups my face and wipes my tears with his thumbs. "I'm sure it hurts and you have every right to feel the way you do. I just think that taking baby steps with her can heal the hurt she left behind. You'll never forget it but in years you'll look back to today and see all the effort she has made. How she tried her hardest. Carla has a lot of regrets in life; leaving you, not coming back sooner, giving Luke up for adoption, not being able to find him sooner. She's already done a lot she can't take back. And I know for a fact she isn't trying to fix the past, she's trying to have a different future."

"You're right. I'm inviting her. I'm going to call her." He nods and kisses my temple. He makes his way to his office leaving me alone in the living room.

I get my phone and dial her number.

"Ana, what a surprise. How are you?" I can her the excitement in her voice.

"I'm great, how are you?"

"Fine now."

"I actually called to find out if you're busy tomorrow. If we could have lunch together at 12. We have to talk about.. things."

"Of course, I'll be free. May I know what we need to talk about?"

"Well I know you know I'm getting married and I decided I wanted you there. I really do. I just think we need to have a conversation."

"Oh my god, really? You want me there?" She's crying. "Oh dear, I'm honored you invited. Alright honey, I'll see you tomorrow. Text me."

"Okay," I hang up and sigh. It felt good inviting her. Tomorrow we'll talk. Just us two. Maybe just maybe we'll be able to move on together.

Just family drama. I want to talk about the next chapter. I'll be doing a time skip of four months meaning I won't write about the actual wedding. I wanted to do something a bit different.. the next chapter they'll be finding out the sex of the baby but before they leave for the appointment they'll be looking at the wedding photo album that just arrived and they'll be talking about some pictures and it'll jump into small flashbacks. How do you guys feel about that?

Oh and should it be a boy or a girl? ;)

looking forward to hearing your responses.
