Here is the next chapter.
Also, I've said this in the last chapter, but I'm saying it again;I'm almost done with this story, so I hope that everyone likes it!

Oh, and as an answer to one of the reviewers, DokiTora asked me why was Hiroshi (Brick) the only one not thinking about marriage.
It's because he's more worried about the war and how to keep them all safe, specially Momoko, plus he didn't know of what was going to happen later so he wanted to treasure every moment and he wanted to keep promises until he could fulfill them.

Now on with the story!

Hiroshi knew that nothing lasts, not happiness, not success, not even evil things. So when Mitch came to him panting, eyes wild, he knew that their time had just finished.

He was at the training grounds lying against a tree trunk, along with Kakashi and Takashi, taking a break from their training, it was dawn, and everyone had spent the whole night training, since they barely had time.

Mitch came then, in his wolf form, he was running so fast that he nearly failed to notice the three boys on the ground. He halted so fast that he tripped, not even waiting, Mitch got up turning to his human form and going to the three boys.

Mitch knew that something was going to happen, but he had never thought that Yasu would figure out that he was betraying him. So he prayed that he had out ran him and reached here first to warn the others, or else they're all dead.

"He's coming!" Mitch shouted.

"What?" Takashi frowned, getting up "What do you mean?"

"Yasu," Mitch took in a breath, "He's coming, get ready. NOW!"

Hiroshi, within seconds, took off to Jorje, heart beating loudly in his chest, his blood curling. No, not yet, he wasn't ready yet; it was too early, ne needed – wanted – more time, with his friends, Momoko, and everyone. No, he wasn't ready.

"How the hell did he know?!" Takashi shouted, as they neared Jorje.

"I don't know, someone must have followed me here the last time, and when I returned it had reached him." Mitch said, running his fingers through his hair.

"Someone followed you?! How could you not sense that someone had followed you?!" Takashi shouted

Jorje came then, and saw how scared Mitch was, sighing softly he went to him and ruffled his hair gently. He knew the boys well, and when they're worried or scared they are not of much use. "Tell me, what's wrong?"

"He's coming Jorje, he knew about me." Mitch said, weakened by Jorje's affections.

The shock was obvious on Jorje's face, but he remained calm, nodding once he turned to Kakashi "Go and tell the king, Hiroshi you go tell the rest of the wolves and get in your positions, Takashi and Mitch come with me to make sure that the city is safe."

All the boys did exactly as Jorje told them.

Kakashi, even though not the fastest wolf, he ran as fast as one, in his wolf form, he was at the king's door within minutes. The guards saw him running from afar, and since they didn't know what to do they stopped him.

"What do you want?" one of them asked

"We have no time, Yasu is coming and I need to tell the king." Both guards looked shocked.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes I'm sure! We have no time! Now either one of you goes and tells him or you let me in!" Kakashi half shouted.

"What is the problem?" the king asked, coming from behind the guards.

Kakashi stood tall, "Yasu is coming, and we need to get ready."

"So soon? What happened?" the king looked cautious "How did you know?"

Kakashi pursed his lips, "We have a spy in Yasu's lines, and I believe we told you that sir. We have no time, he's coming." Kakashi took a breath "You need to believe me."

The king nodded and turned to his guards "You heard him, go tell everyone to be at their designed spots." He then turned to Kakashi "How long until he gets here?"

"Wolves are fast, I'd say in a few minutes or hours, I'm not sure." Kakashi said

The guards immediately took off, Kakashi sighed, feeling some tension leave him. He was glad that they did a plan ahead of time, a plan as to where everyone should be when Yasu comes.

Suddenly, something dawned on him, if someone had followed Mitch here, then that one must have known of their alliance with the humans. Kakashi shuddered out a breath, feeling his blood go cold.

"Oh no," he breathed

The king turned to him, frowning when he noticed how pale the kid was. "What's wrong?"

"Yasu knows…" Kakashi said eyes wide "Yasu knows of our alliance."

The king was shocked, worries over his men showing in his face, "Is he coming to the town first?"

"I think so," Kakashi breathed in to calm himself down "I need to tell Jorje."

Takashi was excited.

Takashi felt his heart beat in his chest, adrenaline rushing through his veins, excitement coming off him in waves for what's coming. He was scared, he won't hide it, but it was more exciting to finally get rid of what was bothering you. After this he can live comfortably, with people whom he loves, and his friends.

People might say he's crazy but it was true, they've been waiting for too long now.

Takashi felt some presence coming, and fast, so he turned to the soldiers and wolves with him, Jorje standing right in front of them all, his mouth stretched into a wide grin, as he saw the wolves starting to transform. Within seconds he was in his wolf form, charging at the first wolf coming.

It was shocking at first to the soldiers, to watch as the wolves collided with force, fangs digging into another's flesh, tearing and drawing blood, but there were no time to be shocked, they needed to help the wolves and protect their families at home, so they pulled their guns and shot.

Hiroshi was scared.

He was scared of what to come; he could feel his body shiver, his blood rush, and his heart pounding so loudly in his chest. As he was walking along with the wolves and humans to their designed places, he could even feel the nervousness coming off the others.

As they stood in their place, at the border of the forest, Hiroshi could see his old life, when he was a cub.

He remembered when he saw his father in a battle, standing tall and strong, leading everyone with him to the war, not a speck of fear in his eyes. Hiroshi had always wanted to be like his father, but he failed, he was terrified of dying now.

Though dying would reunite him with his father, and mother if she was dead, but it would take him away from his friends and Momoko.

Hiroshi was lost for what he wanted now.

His thoughts came to a halt when he heard a howl coming, he growled and beards his fangs, warning the people with him of what's coming. Hiroshi took off and ran, hitting a wolf with his head and biting his neck, hearing the shots of guns and growls of wolves all around him.

The wolves stood in the first line, and humans were behind with their guns and weapons, it was a good plan, they'd distract Yasu and then shoot him.

Only if he was with him.

Hiroshi was lightheaded when he noticed, in the middle of fighting a wolf, that Yasu's presence was not there.

Kakashi was dreading what was coming.

If only they thought this first, if only they thought of making another plan if things went wrong.

Kakashi was running as fast as he could, not caring if he was out of breath, or if he was scaring people as he ran through the town. People stopped whatever they were doing and watched the wolf pass by, wondering what was wrong that had him in such a rush.

Kakashi didn't wait as people tried to stop him and ask what's wrong, he couldn't, all what he was seeing was straight ahead of him. Kakashi could feel the presence of wolves, just outside the town, and he was terrified of knowing if what he thought was true or not.

Just as he was about to get out of the town he felt it.

Yasu was near.

And not where they thought he'd be, outside.

Did he really know about the alliance?

Kakashi halted in his steps and diverted off his way taking his right, Kakashi didn't even think that he had no one with him, all what he had in mind was that he had to stop Yasu, even if it meant his life.

Miyako was walking in town, heading back from the training ground, it was weird that she saw no one there; all the soldiers and wolves were gone. Suddenly she saw Kakashi in his wolf form passing by at a high speed; she stopped in her way, her heart beating loudly, as she went after him.

She felt her stomach clench, her gut telling her that something was wrong. Miyako ran as fast as she could but she lost Kakashi, so she went to Momoko's first, knocking loudly on the door.

"Coming!" Momoko said from inside "Hello…Miyako?"

"Momoko," Miyako whimpered "Something is wrong, there's no one at the training grounds, and I saw Kakashi running in the direction of the forest."

Momoko frowned, worry showing in her eyes "Where's Kaoru?"

"I was going to go and tell her after I come here."

"Let's go," Momoko said

What was in her mind was the same as what was in Miyako's mind, which caused her to walk faster, nearly running all the way to Kaoru's home. It was scary, knowing that a war was just right outside the town, with their friends in it; it was scary knowing that one of them might die, and they won't even know until the next day, or when the war ends.

Kaoru came down frowning when they heard the rushed voices of her friends, "What's wrong guys?"

"Kaoru," Momoko started trying to stay calm "Something is wrong, everyone has disappeared and…"

"And?" Kaoru asked slowly, dread crawling up her stomach.

"We think that it's starting." Miyako said

"So soon?" Kaoru frowned "No way."

"We don't know what happened," Momoko said "But Miyako said that no one is at the training grounds, and Kakashi was running to the forest."

"Do you think that Yasu is coming?"

Both Miyako and Momoko nodded when Kaoru said what were in their minds, the three girls shared a worried glance; there was something wrong, Yasu wasn't supposed to come until another week or so, until the next full moon. So there must be something that had made him come faster, and whatever it was, it must have made him angrier.

Even though the girls prayed for the safety of every one out there, they didn't know of what danger was coming.

Yet they didn't know the strength that was in them, the strength that'll help them get over this.
