Chapter 28
Naive
He unrumpled the note,
Finished the job that your partner had failed to do.
-C
Then it all made sense. The attack…and the message. The assassin had tried to finish the job on Bran, but got the rooms mixed up in the progress.
The attacker who had fled…was pretty dumb one at best. Didn't know the difference between a male and female.
Ginny Weasley stared at the letter she received from Hermione with a very shock expression.
Hermione's pregnant?! And with Jon's baby nonetheless!
But what surprised her even more was the fact about Robb's choice. Any normal man, even in her own time would have think twice before making such offer while knowing that a woman was currently pregnant that wasn't his own child.
A sad sighed left her lips, at the thought of someone who have obviously loved someone enough to sacrifice.
A vision of Harry appeared inside her mind and she could feel a few tears threatened to fall, but she held them back.
No. Ginevra Weasley do not and will not cry! That was against nature itself.
She's strong.
She had to be. She had six brothers to live with. She even faced Voldemort in only her first year of Hogwarts. She can't afford to break over just one Harry James Potter.
He sometimes write to her of course, just about twice a month now if she was lucky. The last letter she received was when Tyrion had gave her awhile back when he returned from his journey.
Him and his bloody hero complex.
Now, Hermione was the strongest person she ever known. Emotionally.
Ginny found some ink and a quill, years at Hogwarts and being in a pure-blood wizarding family had taught her how to easily use a quill and ink with ease.
Dear Moine,
W.O.W
Bloody…shit.
That's a huge load of news to unload on a girl, but either way congrats!
It was rather nice that Robb had done this for you. I know back in our time, it's easy to overlook a single parent.
Does Jon know?
Either way, if you need anyone to talk too, I'm always here. Bloody Hell I even travelled back in time.
-Your friend, always,
Ginny Weasley.
P.S: Ron is totally going to freak.
Ginny barely had time to send her message off when she ran into Sansa who looked somewhat pale. She had a huge smile on her face and she only brightened when her eyes set upon Ginny's.
"I'm going to become, Queen!" She announced, and Ginny wince at what this actually implying of.
Joffrey.
Ginny felt a hint of anger at this through. The journey up to the capital was brutal. It wasn't the fact that they have to set up tents in camps, no, it's the fact that she had to put up with Joffrey shit.
The incident on the King's Highway, didn't help any matters and Ginny's surprised that Sansa, even after what happened to Lady, and Arya's wolf held no loyalty to her sister and easy overlook such things.
Joffrey was just a spoil little bastard with too much power under his fingertips. He's dangerous if he has anymore higher power.
"What's you going on about?" Ginny replied, and Sansa paused and glanced at her judging.
"I heard talking between the king and Father. Father is rather uncertain, but I'm sure he wants me to be happy."
Ginny sighed, when Sansa saw his true colors that day with Arya and still managed to convince herself that Joffrey was some type of shining knight, there was little else she could do for her. They barely talk anyway, only a few times a week. She connected more with Arya.
"Just be careful. Not everything is what it seems and he seems to be a huge prick."
Sansa gasped. Her hands covered her mouth in shock of Ginny's apparently unladylike language. There was some kind of wild fire appeared within her orbs, "Don't you dare insult the prince! He's everything, and you just jealous of him of what happened to Sir Potter."
The air around them chilled, but Ginny wasn't mad. No, she was far from that.
Sansa Stark was just an immature brat and in time hopefully she will grow out of it. She's naïve to the world and seemed to manage to make her blind whenever Joffrey is involved.
"Just keep telling yourself that, mi'lady." Ginny smiled and with a light bow she was out of the room and into the hall, running into her older brother who looked rather uncomfortable in his new set of armor that Lord Stark had commission him.
He also have a new sword that hung loosely on his waist with a dark silver hilt.
"Ron! There you are, you will never gonna believe this!"
.
Arya Stark would have made fathers all across the land lose their own hair. Arya was different. She was different than her sister Sansa, who have only been obsessed with dresses and perfume.
Arya was more interested on playing in the dirt with other children, mostly boys and showed huge interest in fighting with a sword. Not normal or even common for girls or women to be interested in while being in a noble house.
Arya was special and with huge determination she finally managed to convince Ned Stark, who was a huge on being conservative to allow her to have a special trainer to teach her to sword fight. Just like her brothers.
If his wife was here now with him, she would certainly wouldn't allow it, but each time Ned looked at his youngest daughter, he always see his sister, Lyanna in her place. His sister who was loved by all, and was taken away far too early in her life. His sister who pretty much love to ride horses, fight with swords (which caused dismay with his father over) and play with the local young boys.
Arya Stark will grow to be an amazing woman one day, and he pray for the man who landed with her much luck.
