Hey guys! Don't you just LOVE Thanksgiving Break! I will give you a gift for Thanksgiving, an early chappie! WOOOOOOO! It's because I finished the next chapter, or the chapter after this. This chapter features a cute sister bonding moment. It's so cute!
NEXT CHAPPIE: A view on Sky at Sky Army. It's actually a pretty big chapter.
*Luna's POV*
I was arranged to see Astrid. I didn't know why. Did she convince them? At least I was able to see her. A hybrid of Deadlox came in and cuffed me to walk. I was surprised it wasn't Titus. The hybrid put a bag over my head and guided me to the hallway. The bag was thrown off. We started in the way to her cell when a certain Sky hybrid came.
"I got her from here, Jago." The Sky hybrid and the Deadlox hybrid switched places.
"Thanks dude." "Jago" walked away.
"Titus?" I whispered.
"Yup." He murmured. I sighed in relief. "Sorry I wasn't here earlier." He said in a hushed voice.
"It's fine, I was just scared you were killed." I uttered back. Titus chuckled.
"If I was killed, it would probably be public." I almost froze at that statement.
"Really?" I almost yelled.
"Yeah. They kill their own kind public. But it's only if their a traitor. The squids watching cheer. Even if their family." I felt sick at the statement. I swallowed, my stomach in my neck.
"That's cruel." I whispered, my hushed voice cracked.
"It can get way worse."
"Ah, Luna!" A woman called.
"Dr. Brooks, nice to see you." Titus said to her. "She's on our side, trust her." He whispered. I nodded.
"You're here to see Astrid. Correct?" Dr. Brooks smiled. I nodded. "I will take her from here." She and Titus switched positions.
"See ya." He whispered and left. Dr. Brooks walked me into a cell and there was Astrid tied up and smiling. She looked so much like Gemma. Her bright eyes were cute, happy and nice. She even had Gemma's style.
"I'll leave you two alone in here." Ms. Brooks left, leaving Astrid and I.
"So, you're Luna?" Astrid asked a smile still on her face.
"Yeah, you're Astrid?" I asked, returning the smile.
"Yep."
"So I heard you can 'mind-read'?"
"Yep. It's strongest around other children of Herobrine. I technically know your whole life story, I can even see memories that had been forgotten in a way." For a nine-year -old, she was pretty smart. "I'm even smarter than you think."
"Oh really? What's the square root of 689 times 12 plus 3?"
"317.9857139617605 (I bet you guys didn't read the whole number) and so on and so forth."
HOLY SHIT!
"I know, right? That's how most respond."
"So you're a human calculator and can read minds. You're OP!"
"OP?" Astrid tilted her head.
"Overpowered."
"Oh! That's what that means."
"So, what's your story?"
"Ever since I was born, I've lived in the Nether. Our father, Herobrine, raised me. He taught me everything I know. How to fight, hunt, the essentials. He loved me, a lot. He really cared. He made my ability way better and gave me many books to read. Noah was there, too. He protected me from humans. At first I thought humans were bad and evil. But father told me they were just afraid, not in anyway bad. They were harmless, though most could put up a fight. Our super abilities make us very "OP". Noah kept me entertained when I was really bored. I remember one time, I was out playing with pigman then, a portal appeared. A human stepped through, terrified, and he almost saw me but Noah teleported and grabbed me and teleported to a place where he couldn't see us. Dad jumped out and scared the human to run back in the portal. It showed how much Noah and Herobrine cared."
"Why did Herobrine have to scare the guy?"
"Because if he explored any closer he might have found us, tried to kill us." Astrid explained. "Herobrine warned us that humans, if they knew about us, would try to hurt us. I believed him. He's saved me many times. I miss him." Astrid started to tear up. "I miss my home." I was silent. I couldn't reply. This poor kid had a tough life. Running from humans and only had a dad and brother. " I shouldn't be talking, though. You've never had a home. Never grew up with any parents, your only family Gemma. You didn't even know who your father was until now." I stood up and swung my hands down. Jumping over the chains that bound my hands together, I walked over to Astrid. I hugged her. Astrid hugged me back, our chains clanged a bit. Tears streamed down my face. Astrid was silent. Just like Gemma would be. Gemma would be silent, let me cry, then say I was wonderful. Astrid knew. Astrid probably knew I was thinking of Gemma.
"Astrid. You are an amazing girl."
"I probably won't be as good as Gemma." Astrid sighed.
"No." I back up and looked at Astrid in the face. Her blue eyes stared at mine. "You are your own person. No matter how many people call you Gemma or compare you to her, you are Astrid. You are your own person and have a bit of my heart."
"So, are we sisters?" She asked.
"Always and forever. I love you sis." I hugged her tightly.
"I love you, too big sis."
Did I do good or did I do good? In this chappie, we get to know more about Astrid. Next, Sky Army, after that, maybe *hint* Noah's cute little past *hint*
NEXT CHAPPIE IS GON BE GUD. YOU GUYS ARE GONNA HATE ME ON THE NEXT CHAPPIE. Seriously. I am starting some DRAMA!
