Chapter Twenty Nine - Reveal

"I don't see why we had to change" Ron complained as he waited with Harry in the front of hall of Grimmauld Place. The girls had insisted they change out of their wedding clothes and into something that wouldn't bring them much attention at dinner until they were ready.

"Do you want to have Ginny walk in there in a wedding dress?" Harry asked Ron simply who looked back at him a grimace on his face. "Didn't think so."

"Sorry couldn't find anything to wear." Hermione said walking down the stairs while fastening her earrings on. "Ginny should be down in a moment."

"Coming!" Ginny yelled from the top floor down.

"What is she doing all the way up there?" Harry asked a little confused. "We never go up there."

"She said she was looking for something." Hermione said simply shrugging her shoulders.

"I had to grab these" Ginny said simply as she climbed down the stairs and walked over to Harry. "I found a letter the other day while cleaning up there. It was a letter from Sirius. Some how he knew that he might not make it through the battle. He wrote the letter to me" they all looked at her a bit stunned. "He wrote the letter to me because as he said in the letter he always knew that Harry would end up with me. Anyway the letter said there was a secret room that his parents had that he had hidden something in there for me to give to you on our wedding day. I haven't been able to find anything until yesterday morning, but I had to leave before I could look for whatever it was that I was supposed to look for."

"Well?" Harry asked her was curious as to not only this mysterious gift, but also the room.

"Here" she handed him a watch. "It was Sirius's, it was supposed to be passed onto him when he got married, but since he died before he could he left it for me to pass onto you."

"Are you serious?"

"Yes. It's the Black family watch. It has been passed down for generations. I am sure it is more then just a watch." She smiled at him and watched as he put it onto his wrist.

"Thank you for this." Harry whispered looking up. He knew that whatever was out there Sirius was watching. They all were.

"Ready?" Hermione asked walking over from where she stood with Ron. Harry nodded and they all disapperated from the front room to the gates of the Burrow.

"You look amazing by the way." Harry whispered in Ginny's ear as they made their way through the gates. She was wearing the exact same dress for their wedding except it stopped short of her knees and looked like a nice summer dress. "Do I get to see under it later?"

"Maybe" she teased as they walked around the Burrow to the back field where her whole family was gathered and talking happily.

"You made it" Molly said walking over to them happily. "George and Angelina said they had some important news"

"Oh really?" Ginny asked she was concerned. She didn't know if tonight would be the night to reveal she got married that day.

"How was work?" Arthur asked Harry who shrugged nonchalantly like it was nothing.

"Work was work" he replied as he sat down with Ginny at the table.

"Weird I heard you and Ron weren't there today." He said eyeing him suspiciously.

"Top secret Auror stuff. I can't talk about why we were missing." Harry said before looking at Ginny with a face that said we need to tell them tonight.

"Fine!" Ginny said loudly and everyone around them looked at them. "I can't wait to here what you had to say George" she smiled and sank lower into her seat.

"Angelina and I are expanding the Joke Shop. We are going to open a new shop in Hogesmede."

"That's wonderful dear!" Molly said as she brought out the food for dinner. "Let's eat"

"Excuse us" Harry said and he took Ginny's hand and pulled her into the Burrow and up to her old bedroom. "Muffliato" he said pointing his wand at the door and then at the window. "We need to tell them."

"I know this Harry, but they are going to freak out that they weren't invited."

"Ginny, we are married now. They are going to be upset they weren't there, but they will get over it."

"Can it wait until dessert?" She asked pouting her lips.

"It can wait, but we have to tell them"

He leaned down and gave her a small kiss before heading out the door her hand in his. Everyone looked up at them when they went back to the table that was set up with everyone around it. Ginny said some lame excuse and surprisingly everyone believed her. Dinner was uneventful for the rest of the evening as everyone chatted happily to one another. It was so rare that they could all have dinner together that they all just tried catching up with each other. Then much to Ginny's dismay her mother brought out dessert and she caught Harry's eye. She knew it was time to tell everyone what they had done. She cleared her throat and stood up with Harry.

"Harry has something to say" she said quickly.

"We agreed you" he said and she just smiled. "You're lucky you're my wife"

"Wait what?" Molly said standing up a bit confused.

"We got married at the Ministry today. Ron and Hermione were there as witnesses." Harry replied and without knowing it he half stepped in front of Ginny to protect her from her family if they got mad.

"Of course they were. They are there for everything, they know everything because you're the Golden Trio" George said sarcastically from where he sat with his wife.

"That's because I know they can keep secrets for me" Harry said grabbing Ginny's hand to calm her.

"And we can't?" Bill asked crossing his arms over his chest and looking at Harry.

"It's not that you can't it's that I know they can. They are still keeping secrets about Voldemort for me. Secrets you guys or anyone can never know."

"There's more that we don't know?" Arthur asked curiously.

"There's a lot more that you can't know. Stuff that would turn heads and destroy lives if anyone found out. There's stuff about him, about his son, and about my future one that they don't even know, but if they did they wouldn't tell anyone. We know they can keep secrets."

"What don't I know?" Hermione asked a bit annoyed herself.

"Can't really tell you that now Hermione, but you know I will eventually I always tell you two."

"Not your wife apparently."

"Do you really want to know?" Harry asked turning his head a bit to look at her. She shook her head. In truth she didn't want to know all the secrets that Harry had about Voldemort. "Thought so" he turned back to their family. "Now back to the subject. Ginny and I got married not to keep it a secret from you guys, but to make it not become a national headline where every detail was picked apart and analyzed for the world to know. We wanted to tell you, but I know Ginny better then anyone and I know she hates the publicity-"

"Then she chose the perfect husband." Percy said sarcastically from his own seat.

"Anyway, it was my idea. So if you want to be mad at anyone be mad at me, but do not be mad at her. It was my idea and I won't let anyone blame her for my idea."

"I think we all need to realize this" Arthur said standing up and walking beside Harry and Ginny. "These two have been in love for years, we all know they were going to end up married, so just because we weren't there does not mean we should be mad at a pair of people who love each other so much they have spent more of their relationship apart then together. Harry gave up his whole childhood to protect all of us and didn't know what a family was until he met us so do not be mad at him for wanting to protect his new family from that. Ginny deserves to be happy, she has spent her life loving Harry and deserves to have her family support her marriage just like she has each and everyone of yours. So who wants to eat pie?" He raised his wand and sent sliced pieces to everyone. "Take a seat you two. I don't think anyone is going to say anything else."
