READ THE PSA

Ok, looking back on previous chapters of this, I have arrived at a conclusion. I stink when it comes to writing proper grammar and spelling, although given that I'm writing on a tablet with a non-functional auto correct function, this is not very surprising.

Because of this, at the end of every chapter (this includes sequels), you are allowed to give me a mark out of 100 for grammar and spelling. How you mark is up to you.

Anyways, with that said, let's start the chapter!

"Are the preperations complete?" Destrucia asked.

"Yes, your highness." one of the Null guards said.

"Excellent." Destrucia said. "And what of the goddess?"

"The moon should be coming out any time now, and then she should be coming down." another guard said. "At that point, we'll start the operation."

"Let's see how she reacts to her loved one on the ground, with a sword wound in his chest." Destrucia said, grinning. "It looks to me as if this is actually going to succeed."

"Was there ever any doubt?" the first guard asked.

Destrucia laughed. "You really are a delight." he said. "But no one likes a kiss ass."

"Sorry, your highness." the guard said.

AT THE TEMPLE

"We don't have a lot of time." Feral said. "Where's Dylan?"

"I don't know." Ray said. "I haven't seen him in a few hours."

"I hope he's alright." Angelina said.

"He'll be fine." Feral said. "He'll just have to meet up with us during the invasion."

"If you say so, Feral." Killer said. He showed up about 3 hours beforehand.

"I just wanna fight me some Null." Blark said.

"I'm with Blark." Naerya said.

"Why can't we come with again?" Angelina asked.

"It's too dangerous, even for someone with your level of skill." Feral said. "Besides, we're just going out to defeat Null in the city. We'll need defenses around the temple."

"I feel that we would be much more useful in the field than defending a place that isn't even a landmark." Necro said.

"Yeah, listen to the kid!" Angelina said.

"I get what he's saying, but it feels better to have you here." Feral said. "Just trust me on this, okay?"

Angelina opened her mouth to speak, but she figured that if anyone knew what to do in a situation like this, it would be someone from the future. "Alright, we'll stay."

"Angelina-" Necro started.

"I said we're staying!" Angelina shouted, cutting him off.

Necro just stared at her with a blank face, and slowly nodded. He hadn't ever seen her this scary before.

Angelina turned to look at Aero and Zap. "Do you two have any objections?"

The two of them just shook their heads.

"Good. Then it's settled. We're taking Feral's advice." Angelina said.

"I guess we're off now, then." Denise said.

"Agreed." replied everyone else in the squad, as the four of them walked out the door, along with enough mana to summon an entire army and a monarch leader.

I hope he's okay... Denise thought.

Jeez, I'm sure he's fine. Solar said to her. I've seen him fight. He's a tough guy.

Denise smiled slightly at the sun god's words. You're right. I'm sure he's fine.

MEANWHILE, AT THE HOSPITAL

"Where are you going?" the nurse asked. "We never said you were well enough to leave!"

"I don't care." Veronica said. "Keep charging me if you want, but I'm going to fight some Null. And if you have a problem with that, bite me."

The nurse groaned, but just closed her eyes in defeat. There just was no arguing with a 13 year old. "Fine. But if you break an arm or fall unconscious again, don't have your boyfriend carrying you back here!"

Veronica stopped, and turned around. "He's not my boyfriend." she said, before continuing to walk towards the door.

"I call slight bullshit." the nurse said quietly to herself.

MEANWHILE, AT THE CHOTEN'S SHIP

"You could have come to me before making a decision is all I'm saying." Seto said.

"Are you saying you would have accepted?" the Choten asked.

"Are you kidding me? Anything that could get me into a good fight is something I would do." Seto said. "Also, I still need to break in these new artifacts, and training dummies just don't do it for me anymore."

The Choten thought about it for a second. "Fine. Go fight your Null leader... Geneic."

Seto grinned. "I like that name much better." he said, as he ran over to the edge of the ship and jumped off, breaking into a skydive.

MEANWHILE, IN DYLAN'S HEAD

Everything was going to hell outside of his mind. He couldn't see it. He didn't need to see it. He could hear it.

"I can't do anything..." he said. "Not in my current state."

"So you're just going to lie here and do nothing?" someone asked. Dylan looked up off the ground and saw the human artifact of darkness, Blue.

"I know it's not in your nature to give up, but even I have a limit." Dylan said.

"That's what I thought too myself as well." someone else asked. Dylan looked, and saw the human artifact of fire, Alex. "When I got this scar on my face, I thought it was the end for me. But I kept on fighting."

"None of you know what I've had to endure in my life." Dylan said. "None of you had a hole put in your chest."

"And you think that's it for you?" Aqua, the human water artifact, now asked. "Look, I've only been in here for a few months now. But in that time, even when things got rough, you never backed down."

"That's because none of what's happening now has happened in the past. I mean, maybe at certain points, but I've never had a hole in my chest while my girlfriend was in danger, possibly dead." Dylan said. "In a normal situation, this would be enough to make me want to kick the guys ass. But now... He's to strong for me to take on."

"You're one to talk." Solana, the human artifact of light, spoke up. "Don't you remember our duel? You looked around tirelessly for an option to best defeat me and Andromeda, and you found a way. Now you have one hole in your chest and you want to give up?"

"Dylan, you've been training for this moment." someone else spoke up. Dylan recognized the voice from somewhere. "Not only for a few months, and not only from the point you got your gauntlet. You've been training for your whole life."

Dylan looked up, and saw a glowing circular object above him. It wasn't bright enough to be a sun, though...

"Lunaria... You guys all believe in me..." Dylan said. "But with 4 artifacts, I'm still too weak..."

"How 'bout 5?" another voice popped up. Dylan didn't recognize it.

"YES! TOTALLY CALLED IT! I KNEW IT WASN'T HER!" Aqua shouted.

"Forgive me, but I believe I should introduce myself." a French boy's voice popped up. "I am Arbre, the human artifact of nature."

"You got named 'tree'?" Dylan asked.

"Says the person who names himself 'Feral'." Arbre said.

"Whatever." Dylan said. "Even with 5 of you, I still have a hole in my chest."

"Then it's a good thing I haven't actually merged with you yet." Arbre said. "Essence of Earth, draw forth Swift Regeneration!"

MEANWHILE, AT THE MIDDLE OF TOWN

"This plan is going smoother than expected." Destrucia said, marveling his creation of an invasion in the middle of San Campion.

"Uh, Destrucia?" a Null soldier said, trying to get his attention. "We may have a slight issue."

"Hm?" Destrucia hummed. "And what's that?"

"HEY DIPSHIT!" someone shouted from the sky. Destrucia looked up, and saw who appeared to be Dylan, but that didn't make sense.

"Ah, I see you've done well with that hole in your chest." Destrucia said.

"Hole in my chest?" Dylan asked. "What are you talking about?"

"... I'm sorry, who exactly am I speaking to?" Destrucia asked. "I don't think it's racist to say you all look alike."

"I am Feral, the kid from the future who originally came into the past to kill my past self." the boy said. "Until I realized that YOU were the one responsible for what happens here and now."

"Ah, no wonder you look so much like my son." Destrucia said.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Feral asked.

Destrucia grinned. "You piece it together."

MEANWHILE, AT THE TEMPLE

"We should be out there, helping!" Necro shouted. "Even with fire creatures helping them, those four can't beat an entire army alone."

"You heard what Feral said." Angelina said. "We have to protect the temple."

"Protect it from what? There is nothing attacking us!" Necro shouted. "If you ask me, this is complete bullshit just so he and his pals get all the glory."

"What makes you say that!?" Angelina exclaimed.

"The fact that the 4 of us are just sitting around here while everyone else is working their asses off trying to save this city!" Necro shouted. "The fact that we are stronger than the majority of the people in this temple, and he still puts us on guard duty!"

"Maybe he's just looking out for us..." Angelina said, with a weak voice, like she didn't believe herself.

"Yeah, I'm going out there." Necro said. "I don't care what he told me to do, Feral is not in charge."

"As true as that is, I don't want to have to risk you getting hurt!" Angelina shouted.

Necro stopped, and turned to face his friend. She did indeed look genuinely concerned.

"I think we should just let him go." someone else said. Angelina turned around to see Dylan's sister, Rebecca, and Denise's brother, Cole.

"I think we should all form a second squad together." Cole said. "It'll be much easier that way."

"Honestly, I don't know why the 6 of us weren't put on in the first place." Rebecca said. "If one of us gets hurt, we'll have someone heal them and the rest cover the healer and the wounded."

"There's just no arguing with these people." Angelina muttered. "Fine, I'll do it. I'll be in your goddamn squad."

Necro looked at Angelina, then back at Rebecca, and nodded.

Aero and Zap nodded too.

"Alright, then let's head out! We have a lot to do!" Cole shouted.

Ray, who was watching the whole time, just sighed and went to work. He decided to let them do what they wanted.

FERAL VS. DESTRUCIA

Feral was breathing heavily. After all that fighting with Destrucia, his body ached in multiple places.

Destrucia, on the other hand, wasn't in pain at all. Feral wasn't sure if Destrucia was giving it 10% or was very good at masking the fact that he was giving 100%.

Feral wasn't giving it his all either, but that was only because he was waiting for the others to show up and help him out.

"My, my, my, you are hard to put down." Destrucia said. "Is it your form? Did you use a lot of your power traveling back?"

"Shut your face." Feral said.

"I don't think you'll be talking so high and mighty once I drain your goddess of her abilities." Destrucia said.

"Yeah, how about no!?" someone shouted from a rooftop.

Destrucia looked up, and saw who appeared to be Dylan, but his mana signature was slightly different. "If anyone's draining her powers, it's me."

"Ah, Seto. I'm sorry I haven't been taking your calls, but you should really listen to the answering machine and just leave a message." Destrucia said.

"Wel aren't you just clever?" Seto asked. "And if you need to know, my name's not Seto anymore."

"Hmm..." Destrucia thought for a second. "And whatever do you mean by that?"

Seto... Er... Geneic ran over to Destrucia, and rather than answering, attempted to cut his head off with a fully physical sword, not the mana sword nor was it the normal artifact.

It was a human artifact's sword.

Destrucia's eyes widened in surprise, as the sword went hurtling towards his neck. It didn't cut his head off like Geneic intended, but it did make a rather large cut in the side.

"Impressive." Destrucia said, as he ripped the sword out of his neck with no problem. "And how did you manage to get ahold of such an artifact? I would believe that Dylan has already fused with Alex."

"The same way I exist in the first place." Geneic said.

"Hmm..." Destrucia hummed. "So, I suppose since it's 2 on 1 that I should go at this fight with full force."

"I think you made a bit of a miscalculation there, Destrucia." Geneic said. "SETO CLONES 1 THROUGH 10, COME HERE NOW! THE REST OF YOU, KEEP DESTRUCIA'S MEN OFF OF US!"

Soon after Geneic said that, 10 clones of Seto dropped out of the sky.

"Why not rename them?" Feral asked.

"Because they're clones of Seto, before I got these artifact powers. Not Geneic, which came after." Geneic said.

Feral shrugged, as he rushed Destrucia.

"Oh yes, go ahead. Pool's open, water's fine." Destrucia said, as he backhanded Feral, Geneic, and the Seto clones all into a wall. "But maybe you have a bit of an unfair advantage. 12 against 1. Maybe I should use my beast form."

"Wait, he's not at his strongest!?" Geneic asked.

"No. And at his peak, I don't think my merging technique will work on him." Feral said. "We'll have to finish him off before his transformation completes, but also after it starts."

Geneic nodded, and signaled for the Seto clones to back off.

Destrucia put his hands together. "I was always crap with a sword." he said, as his body started to glow. "NULL TRANSFORMATION, BEAST FORM!"

"Now!" Feral shouted, as the 12 of them rushed the transforming Null king.

Before they got in a decent attacking range, however, they were blasted back by a shockwave of some sort.

"Now it's time to fight." said Destrucia from the dust that was created by the shockwave, making his form unnoticeable by the naked eye.

MEANWHILE, WITH DYLAN

I can't move fast enough! Dylan shouted. They're gonna close off the intersection if I don't make it!

"Mind if I lend a hand?" a familiar voice asked.

Dylan turned his head to see the old master of light, who he only ever met once, Nigel. His hair hadn't gotten more grey, but his skin was wrinkled.

The two of them each grinned, as Dylan hopped on the back of his creature, who could surprisingly move quite fast, Ra-Vu.

"So what are you doing in a warzone?" Dylan asked. "On the back of a creature, no less."

"I had to find all of the duel masters of the world and bring them here to try and prevent World War III." Nigel said. "Riding on a creature was my only option."

Dylan shrugged, but did not divert his attention. "When you say ALL duel masters of the world..."

"Yes, that includes Tiera." Nigel said

"Isn't she insane?" Dylan asked. "Especially after being stuck on an island, not being able to interact with anyone else without going to jail."

"Maybe that insanity could help us out, even if only a little bit." Nigel said

"If you think that, YOU'RE insane." Dylan said.

Nigel shrugged. "Ra-Vu, we're nearing the intersection. Prepare to throw the boy."

"This should be fun!" Dylan said, as he jumped into the arm of Ra-Vu, who proceeded to wind up his throw like a baseball.

"Throw!" Nigel shouted.

Ra-Vu flung his arm forward, sending Dylan over the gate that was blocking the intersection from traffic.

Dylan looked, and saw a fight between who looked to be Feral and a bunch of Seto clones against a weird looking demon that looked like a cross between all of the monarchs. It was the same size, too.

"What the hell is that?" Dylan asked, as he used a tiny burst of power behind him to send him flying towards the ground.

He mentally changed his gauntlet mode to try and identify the creature's civilization. However, instead of one of the fingers glowing, it was the center of his gauntlet that glowed.

"It must be a Null." Dylan said, as he increased his speed.

MEANWHILE, A COUPLE OF METERS DOWNWARDS

"Now it's time for you to die!" Destrucia shouted.

Destrucia swung one of his large wings at the 12 kids attacking him. However, before it connected, it suddenly ripped.

"AGH!" Destrucia exclaimed. "WHAT WAS THAT!?"

A large dust cloud appeared from where his wing got ripped, which meant that the attack must have come from high up.

"You try to hurt my friends," someone started. "then I'll rip of your head."

"Who said that!?" Destrucia asked.

The dust cloud slowly began to thin, and everyone could slowly make out a body

"And if you harm Lunaria in any way," the figure continued. "then I'll make your death as slow as possible."

The dust cloud faded even more, and Destrucia could start to make out some facial features.

"The same goes for Angelina and Denise." the figure finished.

Once the dust cloud went away, they could all see that the figure that was standing there was Dylan.

"And I am dead god damn serious." Dylan said.

HERE'S A SNEAK PEAK AT THE NEXT CHAPTER

"Denise, what are you doing here?" Dylan asked.

"I figured you could use some help." Denise said. "And... Well..."

"Whatever." Dylan said. "I don't have enough power, even with the 5 artifacts, and he stole Lunaria's powers, so I can't use Moon Force."

"Wait, each artifact is from a civilization. And the Null is also a civilization..." Denise said, realizing something.

Dylan looked at her. "What are you getting at?"

One more chapter. I think I might make it a little longer, since I have a lot to patch up.

Anyways, don't forget to like, follor, review, and grade this chapter. Oh, and order a pizza, because you can... Probably. If not, then... Read FanFictions, I guess.
