"Ratchet we need a bridge." Arcee said, pressing her comlink button. Arcee, like everyone else, tried to ignore the freezing temperatures of the colder climates of Earth. She was rather surprised that none of their temperatures have dropped to the blue zone. Like the time it was Arcee and Optimus going on an Artic scavenge while the others were being attacked by Scraplet's. The different climates on Earth was something she missed on Cybertron. There really was no cold enough to snow areas, or blistering heat areas. It was just hot or cold, unsurprisingly it got colder after the war began.

"Ratchet are you there?" Arcee asked, confused. Why wasn't Ratchet responding? Not even a bridge, no comment, no questions or concerns, just silence on the other end.

"Arcee?" Bulkhead answered, bewildered like he was just suddenly woken up.

"Bulkhead?"Arcee asked back, feeling a pang of concern course through her system. Why would Bulkhead answer and not Ratchet? Ratchet wasn't one for leaving the base by any means, unless it was necessary. Let alone, he rarely let anyone else use the monitor for comlink reasons. " Where's Ratchet?"

Tailen listened in intently, trying to hear any hints of anything tragic. Despite what everyone else claimed about her, she didn't really care about what happened to Ratchet. But, if Ratchet was still at the base, that meant Kclayna was as well. It did hurt her that her only sparkling would want to be with her step-creator, than her carrier. But she couldn't ignore the feeling in her stomach pit. Something was wrong, whether or not it dealt with Kclayna, caused Tailen to worry. Why would Arcee ask for Ratchet twice? And why wouldn't he reply right away? Why was Bulkhead answering?

"He's gone."

Tailen's spark froze, her mouth valve hung open, and her shoulder pads slumped. Bulkhead's words echoing in her head like a sparkling experiencing difficulty in their voice box. Looking at the rest of the team, who were frozen in their steps, Tailen saw their shock and fear. None of the moved, spoke, nothing. It was like a dream, of everyone in the team to be missing, Ratchet was the one. Ratchet wouldn't be the one to just leave the base without telling anyone, let alone...

Alone, Tailen repeated the word to herself, feeling a heavy weight on her chest plate. But was it just Ratchet, alone, who was gone?

"And that' s not all." Bulkhead continued.

" What else is the matter, Bulkhead?" Teama asked, holding her servo to her comlink.

"It's Kclayna."

Tailen gasped in terror, feeling her spark beat faster as fear shot through her husk. Her servo's covered her mouth valve, lubricants filled her optics, adrenaline replacing the fear. She wanted a ground bridge to appear more than anything else. She knew that she had to get back to base. She had to see if her daughter was alright, if Ratchet had done anything to her or the other sparklings.

"She's gone too."

Tailen shouted, covering her optics with her frost covered servos. Dropping to her knee pads, she felt the weight on her chest grow heavier with each passing second. She didn't want to believe it, she didn't want to believe that her sparkling was missing. As she sat on her knee pads in the cold snow, she felt something warm turn to red hot in a nano click. Grinding her teeth together, clutching her servos into fists, Tailen wasn't surprise that her fear was replaced with hate. More hate than she had ever felt before.

Ratchet has her, Tailen thought to herself, feeling a strong servo on her shoulder pad. She shoved the servo away, staring down at the white snow as her optics filled with red hot lubricants. Her breathing turning into hisses like steam out of a train engine. He took my baby. That bastard took my daughter, now they're both gone.

I can never forgive him.

"What happened?!" Tailen asked, barging into the base, shoving Smokescreen. Feeling guilty about shoving him, but her emotions remained unmoved. All she knew was that she had to vent. And since Bulkhead was twice her size, she knew that Smokescreen was an easier target. Her red optics glaring at Smokescreen and Bulkhead. They looked at each other, uncertain what to do, what to tell her.

"Lazerbeak, somehow found our base and busted in through the windows." Smokescreen explained, resting a servo on Steel's shoulder pad and nudged him to Tier. "Soundwave woke up and Lazerbeak freed him. He attacked us, next thing either one of us knew, Ratchet and Kclayna were gone."

"Soundwave." Blur mumbled, holding Micra's shaky servo. Bianna and Bumblebee ran over, picking up the whimpering sparklings as Blur continued. "He, when he attacked, he brought out his tentacle things and hit Ratchet's spark, like this." Blur said, putting his servo on his chest similar to what Soundwave did. "Then, Ratchet hit the ground. Soundwave did the same thing to Kclayna. Next thing I knew, a bridge opened, Soundwave grabbed their servos and dragged them in. Then they were gone."

"How could you let this happen!?" Tailen shouted, slapping Smokescreen as lubricants fell from her optics. "You were suppose to guard her!"

"Tailen, we were knocked out." Smokescreen said, trying to comfort the grieving femme. He put up his servo to stop Parate and the rest of his team from intervening. Smokescreen understood Tailen was grieving, she was terrified for Kclayna. He knew that he would be acting the same way if the same happened to Steele. "We tried, we fought, and we got our circuits fried. Scrap, even my son was almost injured. Believe me, Bulkhead and I fought and lost, be we always bounce back. It's what Team Prime does. I don't know how, but we will."

Tailen grunted, slapping Smokescreen harder. This time, Wheeljack and Bulkhead stood between Tailen and Smokescreen, armed and aimed at her. Breathing heavy, heated breaths, Tailen glared at the three of them. She didn't care what they thought of her, she just wanted her daughter back.

"Enough with your empty words, boy."

"Hey!" Bianna shouted. "Drop it Tailen, he's trying to help you. You need to calm down and help us come up with a plan to save those two. Slapping Smokescreen and shouting isn't going to get anything done."

"Why do you care?" Tailen asked, feeling her servo ready to hit Bianna. She didn't care if Bianna was the youngest or the sweetest, she could hit her and possibly feel better. But if she did, would she be able to stop hitting? "Kclayna was a mere teammate to you! Nothing more, nothing less."

Bianna's optics narrowed. "Kclayna and Ratchet are part of this family. I don't know about you, but Kclayna is like a sister to me. Ratchet was there for me during my pregnancy, so he means more to me than he means to you."

"What is that suppose to mean?" Tailen asked, trying to look down at Bianna like she had authority over her. Ultra Magnus, still being the over protective creator, pulled Tailen back and stood next to his daughter. His glare matching the threatening glare Tailen was giving him. Ultra Magnus, like Smokescreen, understood where Tailen was coming from. He was just reunited with Bianna, and he would rather die than have anything happen to her.

"Don't go stepping on tips of landing pads, Tailen. "Bianna stated, standing similar to Ultra Magnus. " I kept my promise. Remember? You're the loud, brain dead socket wrench who thought you could keep that secret from them. That it would be ok for them to not know what you have done."

"How dare-" Tailen snarled, raising her servo. Ultra Magnus grabbed her servo in midair. Tailen tried to pull down her servo, but thanks to Ultra Magnus's strength, it was frozen above her head. Her optics shot over to Ultra Magnus, sending daggers to the 'by the book' second in command. "Let me go."

"Soldier," He said, his grip squeezing her servo. "You are not, ever, to lay a servo on my daughter. As I recall, you are not her carrier."

"You can't possibly understand-"

"I, more than anyone else, do understand your position." Ultra Magnus assured her, still keeping a strong grip on her wrist. "I have already lost my mate to this war, before I even knew she was online, Bianna and her sparklings are all that I have left. If Bianna was in danger, I wouldn't be acting like a sparkling having a tantrum. I would be doing something to get her back. "

"Alright stop!" Bianna shouted, standing between Ultra Magnus and Tailen. "Fighting and talking will not get them back. We need to act, now."

"Wait, the Con's are sending us a message."Wheeljack said, walking up to the monitor. After a few intense seconds, Ultra Magnus release Tailen's servo, but his stern glance remained as she walked away. " It's Ratchet! And he's on Earth!"
