A/N: So, most of this chapter was already written, and then the finale happened, and I lost my desire to write. I pushed through, forcing myself to finish this chapter. Even though I'm almost certain that I won't be watching season 4, I keep telling myself that I'm not going to abandon this story. Thanks for all of the reviews. I hope this chapter is good. Please review and let me know if it is or isn't.
Chapter 29: Crazy Love
Fitz walked up the steps to Mellie's cottage that was on her father's property and knocked on the door. A few seconds later, she opened the door.
"Why didn't you just use your key?" She asked.
"We need to talk," he said, not bothering to answer her question.
"We do," she agreed. "I've gotten offers to televise our wedding."
Fitz sighed "Mellie, sit down."
"I know you don't want to do it," she said and sat next to him. "But, seriously, Fitz, what are you going to do when you retire in a couple of years."
"I've told you this is my last year," he said. She was already starting to annoy him.
"Oh please. Nobody believes that."
He sighed. "Mellie, I've been thinking a lot about what you said about me changing. And, you're right. I have changed."
"You have. I don't like it. But, it's doing wonders for your image. So, I can live with it. I guess Cyrus is responsible for it."
Fitz shook his head. "No. This has nothing to do with Cyrus, and everything to do with me finally being the man I was raised to be. When we started dating, I was in a rebellious stage. I didn't care about anyone, but myself. And, you were the same way. I guess you weren't rebelling, but you seemed to not care about anyone, but yourself."
"What's your point?" She asked, as if she was irritated by the sound of his voice.
"I need you to understand why I'm doing this."
"Doing what?"
"I'm calling off the engagement," he said quietly.
She was quiet for a moment, and then started laughing hysterically.
"Mellie?" That was not a Mellie reaction, and honestly, he was a bit scared.
"Fitzgerald, don't be ridiculous," she said when her laughter subsided.
"Mellie, I'm serious."
"Oh, I know you think you are."
"Mellie, I'm not in love with you," he replied, honestly.
"Do you think I'm in love with you?" She retorted.
"No."
"Good. Because I'm not," she calmly replied.
He didn't understand her logic. "So, why should we even get married?"
"Because you proposed. You should have had your come to Jesus moment before you proposed to me. I've told everyone that we're getting married. And, everyone is expecting us to. You will not call off this wedding and embarrass me. I will not be humiliated."
"Mellie, I'm not trying to humiliate you. You can tell everyone you broke up with me."
"Oh, so now that you've found someone else, and you think you're in love…"
"What makes you think I've found someone else?"
"The hickeys on your neck," she exclaimed, pointing at them. "Or maybe it was some random whore. You like those now."
"Mellie, I don't have time for your tantrum."
"Tantrum? You haven't seen a tantrum," she warned. "Or the last of me."
"Just know that as of right now, right here, today, we are done. If you want to release a statement first, you can. I'm going to have Cyrus prepare one and see when he thinks I should release it."
"When you decide to break up with me, you want press attention on our relationship," she sneered.
It definitely was a move outside of his character, but he did not want to meet Olivia's parents with them thinking he was still with Mellie. He knew the world knew they were supposed to get married. And, her dad followed football, so he would hear that he had broken up with Mellie.
He gave her her key and headed to the door. "Take care of yourself, Mellie. I really want you to be happy. I'm sure I'll see you around." As he closed the door, he felt so liberated. He was finally free to be with the love of his life.
The moment he got in his car, he wanted to call Olivia. But, it was still early, and she had only been asleep for a couple of hours. A smile crept across his face as he thought of something else.
/
Fitz looked at Olivia sleeping peacefully. She was laying on her back with a hand near her head. He smiled as he remembered her waking up and finding him staring at her asleep. She had called him cute and implied that he was kind of creepy. That was also the first time he had told her that he loved her. And, the start of him learning who she really was. It was also the start of him patiently holding out his hands, waiting for her to place her heart in it. He slid in bed next to her, and instinctively she moved to him, wrapping her arm around his midsection with her body facing his. He looked at her, and couldn't help himself. He pressed his lips to hers. She returned the kiss, opening her mouth to him, sucking on his lips and tongue. Suddenly, her body stiffened, she gasped, and her eyes snapped open.
"Fitz," she whispered, her eyes wide with shock.
He smiled and reclaimed her mouth with his. He moved his hand down her body, and slid it in her panties. She sucked in her breath as he rubbed his hand against her, his fingers grazing her slit.
"Oh baby," she moaned. "Don't stop," she cried out as she moved her hips with the rhythm of his hands.
Her desire coated his hand. "You're so wet, baby," he growled.
"Please don't stop," she whimpered.
And, he did just that.
"Fitz," she growled, glaring at him. "Why did you stop?"
He grinned and put his fingers in his mouth, licking her essence from them. "I'm just getting started." He smirked and slid down her body, taking her panties with him. He placed a leg over his shoulder, and fastened his mouth on her core.
She arched her back and moaned his named. His tongue moved deftly between her folds as she gripped his hair. He sucked on her clit and she cried out his name. He inserted two fingers inside of her, curving them just right. Her breath came in short pants, her moans filled the room, and he sucked and licked until her legs started to shake and her body trembled as she called out his name. He moved back up her body and eased inside her. Olivia hissed as he started to move with long, deep strokes.
"Oh Fitz, baby," she cried.
He took one of her legs and moved it over his shoulder. "You okay?" He asked.
She nodded eagerly. "Keep going."
He moved with long, deep strokes. The new position ensuring that he hit her spot with every stroke.
"Oh god, Fitz," she moaned.
She held tightly to him, kissing whatever part of him she could, mostly his shoulder and neck, as she moaned and cried out his name. He picked up the pace, and her moans grew louder.
"You like that," he whispered in her ear, before kissing the spot just below her ear.
She whimpered her response.
"I can't hear you, Livvie. Do you like that?" He repeated and gently bit down on that same spot.
"Oh god, yes," she cried.
"Is it…good, baby?" She was so wet and tight that he didn't know if he would last much longer.
"Yes."
"Then, cum for me," he whispered in her ear. And, she did. She bit down on his shoulder, holding on tightly to him as her orgasm coursed through her body. A couple of more strokes and Fitz was right there with her as they held on to each other.
With her chest heaving and sweaty body clinging to him, Fitz thought Olivia was absolutely breath taking. He smiled. "Hi."
"Hi," she smiled.
He moved and lay down next to her.
"Should I be worried that you were willingly kissing a strange man in your sleep?" Fitz teased as he turned to face her.
She turned to him, propping her head on her elbow. "But it wasn't a strange man. It was you."
"You didn't know it was me."
She smiled. "I was dreaming that I was kissing you. So, I guess subconsciously I knew it was you." She ran her fingers through his hair. "How long have you been here?"
"I just got here."
She narrowed her eyes and looked at him, suspiciously. "Were you watching me sleep?"
"No." He pretended to be shocked and hurt.
She grinned. "You were. Creeper."
"It's your fault," he said as he ran a finger along her cheek. "You shouldn't be so beautiful and look like an angel while you're sleeping."
She smiled and rested her head on his shoulder.
"I just broke up with Mellie," he told her.
"I figured," she said. "So, how did she take it?"
"She's angry. I told her she could release a statement, and that I was going to have Cyrus release one for me."
She sat up and looked at him. "So, that part of our life is over?"
"It's over."
She smiled. "We should celebrate."
"What did you have in mind?"
"Personally, I want to spend the day making love to my boyfriend," she said.
"Boyfriend, hunh?"
"Yeah. He's kind of amazing. He's sooo handsome," she said dreamily. "With these beautiful blue eyes, and gorgeous, curly hair." She ran her hand through his hair. "And, he's so sweet, thoughtful, patient and loving. He's seen me at my worst, and instead of it driving him away, he loved me more. He's my heart."
"He sounds like a great guy."
"He is. I'm so lucky to have him."
"Does he realize how lucky he is to have you?"
"He better."
"Does he realize that everything about you is absolutely beautiful? Does he know that you have the most enchanting, expressive brown eyes? And, the most beautiful hair," he said as he ran his hand through it. "Does he realize that you're not just a pretty face, that you're easily always the most intelligent person in any room? Does he know that you don't love easily, but when you do, it's deep, and real, and pure? Does he know that your love can pull a drowning man out of his ocean of despair and save him? Does he know that when you enter a room, that same man can feel you? When you leave a room, you take his heart with you?"
"Fitz stop," she whispered. "You're going to make me cry."
"I just want to make sure that you know that your boyfriend knows that he wouldn't be half of the man he is today without you." He sat up and looked in her eyes. "Do you know you're my everything?"
She didn't say anything as a small tear rolled down her cheek. Fitz wiped it away with his thumb, and continued to caress her cheek. "Do you know that Livvie?"
She slowly nodded her head yes.
"Say it," he said quietly.
"I'm your everything," she choked out.
"You're my everything," he repeated, resting his forehead against hers. "I can't live this life without you," he admitted. He leaned forward and softly kissed her.
"Dammit Fitz," Olivia said, wiping a stray tear away.
He smiled. "I can't apologize for telling the truth."
"I don't want you to."
He stretched out on the bed and pulled her back down with him. She draped an arm over him and laid her head on his chest. Fitz had his arm around her, holding her close as he traced the letters to his name on her arm.
"What do you want to do today?" She asked.
"Besides, making love to my girlfriend? I have to go work out," he looked at the clock. "In a couple of hours. Then, I have an interview and a photo shoot."
Olivia sighed heavily.
"What?"
"That means you're going to be gone all day."
"It's just an interview and a photo shoot. It shouldn't take that long."
"You've avoided positive press for so long that you don't even know how this works. Trust me. You're going to be gone all day."
"I'm sorry, baby."
"It's okay. This is good for you. Which magazine?" She inquired.
"ESPN."
"That's great publicity for you. I'm surprised Cyrus got you to do it."
"Well, he wouldn't let it go, until I agreed," he admitted. "He even told me that if you were there, you would insist that I do it."
"He's right. I think you should stop fighting him and trust him. Cyrus truly cares about you."
"I'm starting to see that."
"What do you usually eat before you work out in the mornings?"
"A stack of pancakes and turkey bacon or sausage. Why?"
"I want to make you breakfast," she told him.
"Livvie, you don't have to do that. I eat a lot."
"Then, I'll cook a lot of pancakes."
"Liv, I don't want you feeling like you have to cook for me. I have a chef for that."
"Fitz, do you know how many times in these past couple of weeks that I've dreamed about waking up in bed with you and fixing you breakfast? I know it's simple. But, it's the simple and small things that make a relationship, right?"
Fitz smiled. "Right."
"Besides," Olivia added. "You better get it while you can. I work crazy hours, and I forget to feed myself sometimes."
"Okay," he smiled and kissed her on the forehead.
"So, what exactly is a lot of pancakes and bacon?"
"Six pancakes. Almost half of a pack of bacon." He grinned. "I'm a big boy."
"Don't I know it," she said and kissed his chest. "And, what do you eat after?"
"I'll have a protein shake at the facilities. When I get home, I just make sure to get some carbs. Dinner is whatever. And, I try to make sure I get some fruit and vegetables at some point."
"Got it. Now, come on," she said as she got out of the bed and grabbed his hands. "Take a shower with me."
"If you want to cook those pancakes for me to eat at least an hour before my work out, you better take that shower alone."
She smiled and kissed him. "Okay. But, you don't know what you're missing."
"Like hell I don't," he said, watching her ass as she walked away from him.
Fitz opted to shower while Olivia cooked breakfast. She knew if he had taken a shower with her, they would still be in there.
She looked up and saw him walking in wearing a pair of sweatpants with a few drops of water clinging to his chiseled body. She bit her lip, momentarily forgetting what she had been doing before he walked in. He leaned down and gave her a quick kiss.
She placed a hand on his chest. "You don't really want to go workout, do you?" She let her hand travel down to the band of his sweatpants.
He chuckled and took a step back, before grabbing his t-shirt from the back of his pants and pulling it on. "I don't," he admitted. "But, I have to."
She smirked. "Your loss."
He walked up behind her. "Not really. I'll just make it count when I get back." He leaned down and kissed her neck.
That simple kiss sent shivers down her body.
"Go," he voice was breathless and strained. She cleared her throat. "Go sit down. I'll bring your food to you. And, take this with you," she said, giving him the bottle of maple syrup.
He kissed her neck again before walking off, chuckling.
Olivia looked at him as he walked away, vowing to turn the tables on him. She took a couple of deep breaths.
"What do you want to drink?" She asked.
"Milk."
"I have almond milk," she told him.
"What the hell is that?" She could hear the frown in his voice.
"Basically water and almonds." She smiled, knowing what his answer was going to be.
"I'll take water," he said.
She laughed and grabbed two bottles of water out of the refrigerator. She took them and the plate of pancakes and bacon to him.
"Thank you, baby," he said, reaching for a kiss.
She dropped a kiss on his lips and moved to sit on his lap.
"Aren't you going to eat, too?" He asked, moving so that she would be comfortable.
"Yes. Notice that you have eight pancakes, instead of six," she pointed out. "And two extra pieces of bacon."
He smiled. "I see."
She picked up the fork and cut the pancakes, picked up a bite and fed it to him.
"You're going to feed me too?" he asked, tightening his hold on her.
"Yes," she said. She picked up a piece of bacon, and placed it in his mouth, making sure that her finger ended up in his mouth. He gently sucked on her finger. When he released her finger, she put it in her mouth and sucked it, while looking in his eyes.
"Liv," Fitz groaned. He squirmed in his seat. "I think I'm going to have to feed myself," he said.
"Why?" She asked with faux innocence, seductively looking at him through her lashes.
"Liv, you're not playing fair. I already don't want to go."
"Okay. I'll be good," she promised. She smiled and fed him another bite of pancakes. "Stay with me all weekend," she said. "Kasey doesn't get back until Sunday night."
"Of course," he said. "And, just so you know, that was my plan. I'm going by my place and pick up some things after I'm done with that interview and photo shoot."
"Bring your guitar," she said and ate a piece of bacon, before feeding some more to him.
"No. It's not time."
"But, Fitz, I want to see you play."
"You will soon. I promise," he said and quickly kissed her.
She smiled. "I love you."
"I love you too. But…"
She raised her eyebrows. "But?"
"But, you feed me way too slow," he said, taking the fork from her.
She laughed. "Fine." She got up, got a plate and fork, and took two pancakes and two pieces of bacon from his plate.
"What are you doing?" He asked when she pulled out a chair to sit down. "This is your seat," he said, patting his thigh.
She smiled and returned to her seat on his lap and started eating. When he was done, she pushed him out of the door to keep herself from attacking him. Maybe it was the time they had spent away from him, but she wanted him. She hated that he had that interview and photo shoot. Actually, she was happy for him, because he needed good publicity. She just wished it were another day.

Kasey closed the door to the bedroom as she stepped into the living room to call Olivia. Tom was still sleeping, and she didn't want to wake him. She waited patiently as her phone rang, eventually sending her to voicemail. She hung up and called right back, worried that something was wrong.
"Hey Kase," Olivia said when she finally answered her phone.
"Are you okay?" Kasey asked.
"I'm fine. I was bringing in groceries. I couldn't get to my phone."
"Oh. I was calling to ask about Thanksgiving. Wait. Did you say you were bringing in groceries? You went grocery shopping?" Kasey exclaimed.
"Yes."
"Alone?"
Olivia laughed. "Yes."
"Who put a gun to your head and made you go buy groceries?" Kasey wanted to know.
Olivia laughed. "No one. I went to get some milk for Fitz, and ended up getting some other things."
"Well, it all makes sense now," Kasey mused. "Wait. I thought y'all were taking a break."
"He broke up with Mellie today," Olivia told her.
"Wow. What happened?"
"I'll have to tell you all about it when you get here."
"Okay. So, how was Thanksgiving with Cyrus and James?"
"It was great. Fitz and his mom were there. And, I had a Skype chat with the family and they all know that I'm with someone else."
"You told them?"
"No. Fitz walked in the room, and apparently the look on my face said it all."
"Yeah. You get those hearts in your eyes like on the cartoons whenever he's around," Kasey teased. "Or if someone says his name."
"Oh god," she groaned.
"Just accept it Liv. I have."
"So, how was your Thanksgiving? How's Tom's family?"
"They're great. His sister is really sweet. His brother is mannish as hell."
Olivia laughed. "What about his mom?"
"She's nice, and so accommodating. So far, we get along great. I'm taking her to the spa tomorrow, so she can get a break from being supermom," Kasey told her.
"So, his family likes you. That's good."
"This trip has allowed me to see another side of him. With his sister and brother, he's like big brother slash dad. And, watching him with them, it just warms my heart. The way he interacts with them…" Kasey sighed. "And, now…"
"Aww. You want babies," Olivia realized.
"I want babies," Kasey admitted. "I know he will be a great dad, which will totally make up for the areas I'm lacking."
"Don't even try it," Olivia stopped her. "You're like the mother out of the four of us."
"Thanks Liv." She paused. "Do you think my dad will be angry if I get pregnant before I get married?"
"Oh. You're talking about immediately," Olivia exclaimed. "You are totally serious."
"Yes. I want this man's babies."
"Oh my god. You know your dad is going to freak. He'll be happy to be a grandfather, but you know he wants you married first. How does Tom feel?"
"I haven't exactly talked about it with him," Kasey confessed.
"I think you should discuss it with him first."
Kasey sighed. "I think he's going to be against it. That's why I haven't said anything," she admitted.
"Kasey, you can't just make a decision like that about your lives without talking to him about it first. Talk to him. And, then go from there. Your parents love you. They will support whatever you and Tom decide."
"Ugh. I hate it when you're right. Let me go, so I can discuss this with Tom while the force is with me."
"Okay. Love you Kase."
"Love you, too."
Kasey went in the bedroom and lay in the bed with Tom. She placed a kiss on his lips. When he stirred, she caressed his cheek.
"Wake up," she whispered.
He wrapped an arm around her and pulled her to him. "Good morning."
"It's afternoon, honey."
He stretched. "Really?"
"Really." Kasey told him. "I think the drive here is finally having an affect on you."
"Maybe. I feel like going back to sleep." His eyes were still closed, so she knew that wouldn't be a problem.
"Can we talk first?"
He smiled. "Of course. What's on that beautifully brilliant mind of yours?"
"Us."
He finally opened his eyes. "Should I be worried?"
"Of course not," she assured him.
"Okay. So, what do you want to talk about?"
"Kids. I know you want them. But, I've always been of the mindset if we have them, cool. If not, that's cool too. But, after seeing you with you sister and brother, I want to have babies with you."
He smiled. "You know I want a house full of kids with you."
"How do you feel about us trying to start now?"
"As in now now?"
"Yeah."
"Why now?"
"Why wait?"
"Because we're not married, yet," he stated.
Kasey sighed. "But, you want to eventually get married, right?"
"Yeah."
"So, why wait, if we want to get married, anyway?"
"Because I don't want you to be a single parent."
She frowned. "But, I won't. We'll still be together, right?"
He sighed and sat up. "Baby, my mom is a single parent who had no intention of being one. She and my dad met, fell in love, had plans to get married and have kids. But, he wanted to immediately start having kids. So, they had me. And, they kept planning a wedding that never happened, all the while having more kids. The planning went from me being the ring bearer to my dad's best man to the one who was going to give my mom away. It never happened. And, that made it easy for him to walk away when he decided to. Kasey, my mom still has the wedding dress," he explained. His voice was filled with hurt and hatred. And, she finally understood why he never wanted to talk about his dad.
Kasey laid her head on his shoulder and wrapped her arms around him. "Honey, you're not your dad."
"I don't even want to…I can't start out the way he did. I just can't," he said, quietly.
"Okay," she conceded. If getting married first was a top priority for him to know that he wasn't anything like his dad, she was going to stand with him.
"I hate not giving you what you want."
"Honey, it's okay. We'll wait until we're married. You just better marry me soon, mister. By the way, I'm still waiting on a proposal."
Tom looked at her and smiled. "What are you talking about? A proposal?"
"Don't play with me."
"I have no idea what you're talking about Kasey Wright."
"I think you better go back to sleep before you get in trouble."
"I have better things to do with my time," he said, as he grabbed her and kissed her.
/
Olivia felt both joy and sadness in waiting for Fitz. The sadness came from her missing him. The joy was knowing that eventually he would be home with her. All she wanted was to see his face, and feel his arms around her. Well, actually she wanted more than that. But, that was always enough. He sent her periodic texts throughout the day to let her know he was thinking of her, and that he loved her. She smiled and got giddy every time her phone buzzed. She did not know that she could love someone so much.
She tried to do some work to pass the time until he was home, but as usual, the Snyder case made her question her profession. She was starting to feel overwhelmed and resentful, when she decided to let her vacation be just that, a vacation. She spent the rest of the afternoon planning her evening with Fitz, and making out a playlist for them. She was excited for what she had planned for them, and hoped that he would be home in time for dinner. She was still cooking dinner when he got back.
He wrapped his arms around her from behind and kissed her cheek. "Hi." He greeted her.
"Hi." She turned in his arms and kissed his lips. "How was your day?"
"I hate photo shoots," he mumbled.
"My poor baby," she soothed. "You know there's more in your future, right?"
He groaned. "That's what Cyrus said. Oh, this is from him," he said, and kissed her cheek.
She smiled. "That's sweet. But, where's the one from you?"
He smiled and pressed his lips against hers and slowly glided his tongue across her lips. She parted her lips and eagerly accepted his tongue. She moved her hands around his neck and slipped her fingers in his hair, pulling him closer to her. Then, he felt her small hands travel down his back and grip his ass, pulling his body against hers. Before they knew it, the kiss was suddenly more passionate and frenzied as their hands started searching underneath articles of clothing. Just as Fitz picked her up and sat her on the counter, the sizzling sound of food frying snapped her out of her reverie.
"Dammit," she exclaimed, getting down off the counter. "That's supposed to be sautéing, not frying." She moved the pan from the heat.
"Just turn it off," Fitz said, wrapping his arms around her waist, and turning her to face him, again.
"I can't. You have to eat," she said.
"I'm trying to," he said, anxiously.
Olivia caressed his cheek. "Later. I promise. But, I've been working hard on this dinner for us. It will be done soon."
"I'm guessing this isn't a sweatpants and t-shirt kind of dinner," he said looking down at her delicate pink skirt and white blouse.
She shook her head. "No. Do you have anything to wear? I realize I didn't tell you to bring anything special. It was sort of a last minute idea. So, if you don't have anything…"
"It's okay," Fitz assured her, stopping her from rambling and second-guessing herself. "I'll find something. By the way, you look beautiful."
She smiled. "Thank you."
He gave her a quick kiss. "Just so you know, this is going to be a cold shower," he said and looked down at his erection.
Her eyes followed his gaze. "I'm going to make it up to you. I promise."
"You hear that buddy? She said she's going to make it up to us." He kissed on the cheek before going to the bathroom.
When he came from his shower, Olivia had the lights low with soft music playing. The table was set with two candles and a bottle of wine added.
"What's this?"
Olivia looked at him and smiled. "I knew your first real photo shoot would be a pain for you, so I wanted to do something special for you. And, today feels like the beginning of the rest of our lives together. There's no more Edison or Mellie. It's just us. I want to celebrate us."
He walked over to her, closing the space between them. "I don't know how I ended up with you in my life, but I'm never letting you go," he said as he wrapped his arms around her.
"You better not," she whispered. "You look nice," she said, fingering the collar of his blue shirt.
He looked down at his tan slacks. "This is part of the suit I brought. Since I don't have a game Sunday, I have to go to church with my mom."
"Oh."
"Do you want to come," he asked.
"Fitz, you can't just invite me to crash a tradition with you and your mom."
"You know my mom loves you. She would be thrilled to see you."
She smiled. "Okay. Besides, I need to be able to tell my grandmother I've been to church at least once since she last saw me."
He laughed. "Bad Liv."
"Whatever. Now, come on," she said, taking him by the hand, and leading him to the dining room table.
He pulled out her seat for her and waited for her to sit down before taking his own seat and they both enjoyed the stuffed chicken breast, asparagus, rice pilaf and rolls she had prepared.
"So, is there any dessert," Fitz asked when they were done with dinner.
"You're looking at her," Olivia said seductively.
Fitz grinned and leaned forward to kiss her.
"But, first…" she stood up and took his hand, indicating for him to follow her into the living room. She grabbed the remote to the radio off of the table. "I owe you a dance, remember?"
He smiled, remembering. "To the greatest love song ever. What's the name of it?"
"Love Ballad," she told him. She started the song, and wrapped her arms around his neck, gently pressing her body into his. He moved his hands to the small of her back and held her tightly against his body as they gently swayed to the music.
"Listen to the words," she whispered.
He closed his eyes, forcing himself to focus on the words of the song, instead of the feeling of Olivia in his arms. He had to admit the words were powerful. He could really connect with the man singing about finding true love. That's what his relationship with Olivia was like. He opened his eyes when he heard Olivia softly singing the words. Her lips curled in a smile as she kept singing while gazing into his eyes. Her eyes were so full of love. He took a moment to actually think about the fact that that love was solely for him. He didn't think he could love her anymore, but at the moment, he fell in love with her all over again, and it felt like he was going to burst with all of the love he was feeling for her. Tears came to his eyes, but he fought them back. He had never been a crier. He also had never felt love that strong before, nor had he ever been loved so deeply before. He wanted to speak. Wanted to open his mouth to tell her that he loved her, but he knew if he did, his emotions would betray him, and a tear or two would surely fall. Besides, what would he say? For the first time ever, he felt as if he couldn't accurately express his love for her. Something had shifted for them, and it left him speechless. It's as if he was drowning in a sea of their love, and he didn't want to be rescued.
She reached up and caressed his cheek. He rested his forehead against hers, allowing himself to breathe with her before pulling her to him in a kiss. She eased the hand that had been caressing his cheek to his shirt and started undoing the buttons. He picked up the remote, putting the song on repeat, so that they could make love to it.
They helped each other undressed and tried to physically express the emotions they were feeling. But, it was more than a physical expression of love. Even their first time had never been just physical. They were never just sex. They always connected on a deeper level. But, in that moment, their bodies, hearts, minds, and souls connected in ways they couldn't even imagine, in ways they didn't even think were possible. The love was more intense, so the lovemaking was more intense. Eyes locked, fingers intertwined, lips against each other, tongues dancing together as they came together.
Afterwards, they lay together on the couch too exhausted to speak or move. Fitz finally turned to Olivia. "What kind of sorcery music is this?" He teased.
She laughed.
"I'm serious. I don't even know what to call what I feel for you anymore. Is there something past love? Because I think we reached it tonight."
"I know. I was right there with you," she said as she kissed him. "I think we should make up our own word or phrase for it."
"I don't even know what we would call it," Fitz admitted. "But, it feels damn good."
"It does." Olivia agreed.
They made the mistake of trying to shower together, but ended up making love on the counter once the water in the shower got too cold to endure.
With her head rested on his shoulder, Olivia whispered, "I think we're going to have to take separate showers. You can stay in here, and I'll use the guest bathroom, which is basically Kasey's."
"Okay," he agreed.
He helped her off the counter and watched as she walked out of the bathroom.
When Olivia walked back in her bedroom, Fitz was sitting on the bed with his guitar in hand. She smiled and bit her lip. He looked so damn sexy.
"I thought you said it wasn't time for me to see you play," she reminded him.
"It's not. But, I can't really say no to you."
She sat on the bed and smiled mischievously. "You probably shouldn't have told me that."
"Don't act like you didn't already know."
She grinned. "So, what are you going to play?"
"Crazy love," he said.
"Oh my gosh. Do you know how much I love that song?"
"I noticed that it's been played quite a bit on your IPod," he said. He smiled and started playing and singing Crazy Love. Olivia couldn't believe that he was actually playing the guitar and singing to her. He had sung to her before, but the sight of him, playing the guitar while he was singing was almost too much. She felt like had to physical restrain herself to keep from attacking him. The way that he had his eyes closed like he was concentrating was so adorable, but she selfishly wanted to see his eyes. She caressed his cheek, and he opened them, holding her gaze with his. She smiled as he softly sang to her. She wanted to kiss him so bad, but she held back until he finished singing.
"Come here." He said, once he was done. He moved behind her with his legs on either side of her, and placed his guitar in front of her. "Hold it like this," he whispered in her ear, adjusting the guitar so that she was holding it properly. "This is the pick," he said, placing it in her right hand. "Hold it like this." He was still whispering in her ear, so Olivia was certain that this was an act of seduction. The way his body was pressed against hers, she could feel the heat coming from his body. With his muscles pressed against her back, and his arms wrapped around her, it was very hard to concentrate on anything else, except the fact that he was wearing sweatpants, and she was pretty certain that he wasn't wearing any kind of underwear. She could feel every ridge and vein in his penis. "This is the first chord," he said, holding her fingers where they needed to be, and placing her fingers with the pick over a string. "We're going to strum over this string," he said. "Ready?" He whispered. His voice was dripping with lust. And, the warm heat from his breath combined with his voice made her quiver with want.
She nodded her head. He moved her hand, so that she could strum the chord. "And, this is the next one," he continued, his voice still too low and seductive. He managed to give her a tutorial of the chorus, until he was singing along. "She give me love, love, love, love, crazy love," he sang in her ear, making her body visibly tremble with desire. "What did you think?" He whispered.
She angled her head to look at him, before ardently attacking his lips with hers. She reached in his sweatpants, realizing she had been right.
"You seduced me," she whispered against his lips.
"Guilty," he said, as he pulled her t-shirt over her head.
