I'm so sorry about my last chapter, and have hopefully fixed any and all mistakes. I belive my computer was at falt for the repeat scenes.
Imagine my horror when I posted it and then hrs later discovered the mistake.
Anyway, pls forgive me, for I am still so new and just a humble closet writer. T.T
Now this next chapter was really, really, really, hard for me personally to write. I kept having to get up and pace, before coming to sit back down and continuing. I knew what I wanted to happen, but writing the scene was just so...embarrassing. As you can tell from my previous chapters I like adventure and action... romance too or I wouldn't have picked to write about Buzz and Jessie. But I dont really write intamate things and This scene made me want to pull my hair out. Alas This project Was so that I could broaden my horizons and step out of my comfort zone. So there will be more scenes like this one. I hope you like it.
( I hope I can handle it.)

Chapter 28: Send help.
"-45, 46, 47, 48, 49."
Buzz had counted 57 freckles on her other knee.
Huh.
Buzz had been awake for almost an hour.
He had woken up wrapped around Jessie's soft body. Cradling her from behind, The curve of her back was nestled against his belly and her legs were intertwined with his. His arm tightened around her waist as he savored the warmth she gave off.
The ship was cold.
If this weren't such a dire situation I could get used to this, Buzz thought.
Buzz had tried everything he could think of to contact someone, anyone really, on his wrist communicator. But it was no use.
The LGMs space craft, had drifted into a dead zone. The only thing Buzz could do, was wait it out until the ship came into a better reception area, and then try again.
He felt another cramp coming in his leg, and quickly, but gently, moved it.
Ugh...that was a little better.
Buzz hadn't moved since yesterday. Too aftaid that if he left Jessie's side, she would have another seizure.
To pass the time he had been counting the freckles on her delicate knees.
And on her arms.
And on her face.
Infact he had been using this opportunity to study her very closely. Not only to see if she had suffered anymore after affects, but maybe try and figure out why he was so attracted to her.
Although pretty, with her soft freckled skin, flame red hair and long thin body. There was just so much more to her, that Buzz found so alluring.
She was as tough as nails, but still cried.
She was stuborn, but willing to listen.
And she could be violent, as she was gentle.
She was... Jessie.
Buzz was truly bewildered by her.
Her and her perfectly wild smile, that made his stomach flip when it was directed at him.
Buzz sighed. Yes he wanted her. Needed her infact. But what he needed from her right now was for her to awake up.
"1, 2, 3, 4, 5,-" He started, this time counting the freckles on her shoulder.
Buzz began to absent-mindedly stroke her hair again when Jessie jerked in her sleep.
Buzz stopped counting.
"Jessie?"
A sweat broke out over brow and she began groaning like she was in pain, her breathing speeding up.
Buzz checked her pulse and felt it skyrocket under his gloved fingers.
Was this another seizure?
Jessie bolted strait up out of his arms, crying out as if she had escaped a bad dream.
She panted and choked, reaching out blindly trying to find something to grab onto.
Buzz grabbed her arms.
"Shhhh. Its ok, Jessie. Its Ok."
"Buzz? What's- Where-" She continued to pant.
Jessie felt her body being pulled back by strong arms into a warm embrace.
"Don't get up." she heard whispered into her ear.
Jessie looked up over her shoulder trying to get her brain to focus on what was happing. She blinked several times before Buzz's face came to the center of her attention. "Buzz?"
Her voice was cracked and dry.
She glaced about very confused.
Looking around she didnt see much due to dim lighting. Where was she?
her brain slowly but surely pieced together where she was and what had happened. In space. On a dark craft. In a coffin.
An overwhelming feeling of fear suddenly washed through her entire body. Her face flushed bright red. Her hands began to tremble. She felt dizzy and lightheaded, and could almost hear her blood rushing in her ears.
She felt like the walls are closing in on her. She felt smothered.
Jessies shallow pants came In and out faster. She grabed her chest. Breathe. She couldn't breathe!
She jerked away, this time too quickly for Buzz to catch her. She had to get out of here. Crawling on her knees to the wall, Jessie filped around when she realized it was a dead end, looking very much like a trapped animal.
"Jessie, Jesssie, look at me. Its fine, everything is fine. Zurg is gone, you're safe now."
Jessie's fear was making the walls and floor slant in funny ways.
"The walls, the walls are getting closer!"
Buzz looked around confused. "Jessie the walls arent moving."
Had the electric shocks done somthing to her mind?
Jessie bit her lip and wimpered.
"Jessie-" He started to move towards her, also on his knees, hands outstretched to comfort her.
"No! No dont get any closer! Its too tight in here." She cried closing her eyes shut and putting her fists to her temples.
Buzz frowned at Jessie. The ship was small but it wasnt that small.
Jessie looked about ready to faint from fear. She was grasping at her neck and fanning herself to try and get some air.
Analyzing Jessie's symptoms of behavior, It all clicked together in Buzzs head. Jessie had addmited to being afraid of going into space but it seemed that her fear might have stemed from some sort of claustrophobia. Thats why she had been talking about the walls. Jessie was having a painc attack.
He slowly continued to approach her, hands up in a surrendering position.
Her eyes blinked open and darted about wildly, like a caged creature looking for an escape.
"No, no, no, no, no, no!" She chanted to herself quietly. "This isn't happening."
"Jessie shhh. Look at me, honey. Focus on me. On my voice." He said softly, coaxing her to look at him.
Jessie's gaze fixed onto Buzz's blue eyes as he scooted closer. She felt her tense muscles lock up completely as he neared.
Buzz reached out and cupped her cheek. She was trembling, but allowed him to touch her. "You're suffering a panic attack. You seem to be Claustrophobic, am I right?"
Jessie looked at him dazed, taking every ounce of her concentration to just listen to Buzzs voice.
He reached out his other hand and cupped the other side of her face.
Jessie reached up and clung to his strong wrists. As if she was lost at sea and he was the only life line.
Her breath came in and out rapidly.
"Slowly, Jessie, breathe slowly."
The atmosphere was thick with tension and she realized too late, that Buzz had her pinned against the wall. Jessie stared into those deep blues and knew she could trust them.
"Breathe." He said again.
A sort of energy sparked between them. The air fairly crackled with it. He was so close.
"Just focus on me." His voice dipped lower, as his eyes dropped to her mouth.
Palms cradling her face, he softly rubbed his thumb over her bottom lip.
It suddenly erked Buzz that he was wearing his space suit, and that his gloves were preventing him from feeling her edible lips.
Jessie read his intent and swallowed loudly.
Fear forgotten, her grip on Buzzs wrists tightened for a whole new reason.
For a moment Buzz thought she would push him away, but instead she turned her face closer and parted her lips ever so slightly. An invitation.
Lowering his face slowly, deliberately, as if not to frighten, he kissed her.
Achingly slow and sweet, the kiss flowed through both of them like honey.
Jessie had never been kissed before but the sensation of it was like drifting, it felt wonderful as he stroked her cheeks, and pulled her close.
Jessies grip on his wrists loosened as she slid her palms up his thick arms, around his corded shoulders, to grasp the back of his neck.
Buzz leaned into her, the kiss becoming more ugent. Leaving one hand to stroke her neck, bring her mouth harder against his and the other drifted down to her waist resting on her slim hip.
Jessie felt the kiss like a calming balm at first, erasing her fears temporarily and replacing it with joy. Buzz had awakened a wild, savage part of her she never knew existed.
But then again Jessie had always been wild.
Slipping her fingers from his neck into his hair she pulled him closer, scraping her nails across his scalp.
"Buzz..." she whispered against his lips.
Buzz groaned in response and gave her what she wanted, cupping the back of her head and kissing her deep. He grasped her face in both hands leaning her head to give him deeper access. He kissed her like he was a starving man and she was a banquet.
Buzz knew it was too much intimacy, too soon, but he was helpless to stop.
It felt as if he had wanted her forever.
The need to comfort along with her destress had pushed him to far, and he had snapped. He should feel ashamed for stealing a kiss from Jessie under the guise of comforting her, but he didn't. It had felt entirely too good to have her lips agaist his.
Although it was a pathetic excuse for a stolen kiss, a desprate man had to take what he could get.
Beep. Beep.
Beep. Beep.
The noise was like a bucket of ice water and Buzz broke the kiss swearing softly.
Jessie suddenly felt cold as he leaned away from her. Slowly her mind cleared as she heard a voice coming through Buzz's wrist communicator. It was unclear at first and just sounded like white noise.
It was fuzzy at first but soon became clear that someone was calling Buzzs name.
"Buzz Lightyear. Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. Do you read me? Over."
"JR!" They exclaimed together.
" This is Buzz Lightyear of Star Command." He Answered.
"Buzz!? Thank Super nova you're alive. Where are you?"
"Im in space but don't know my exact coordinates. Zurg attacted Andy town and we had to flee."
" "We?"as in, Jessie's with you too?"
"Hi Jr." Jessie said into the microphone of Buzzs wrist communicator.
"Jessie! Isint your voice the sweetest sound to my ears. Im glad you are alright."
Buzz Interjected. "Jr what happened to you? I tried contacting you earlier but no one answered."
" I could ask you the same question. My satellites picked up Zurgs warship right outside of earth." He said aggravated. "I tried to give you a heads up, but you didn't answer your communicator."
His communicator? But Buzz couldn't recall it ever going off...unless...DURING the dance. He remembered now. It Had gone off.
" I'm sorry commander, I was otherwise occupied." He said clearing his throat awkwardly.
"Hmm. Well I attempted to stall Zurg, trying to buy you some time by flying my emergency patrol craft out to meet his ship, But he shot me down before I ever made contact. I ended up somewhere off the coast of California."
Jessie gasped. "Are you alright?!"
"Well," He cleared his throat. "I'm alive, And that's all that really matters. Luckly I ran into a family of Terrmics, who seemed to be on their way to Mercury. They happily gave me a ride back to my station, where I found your distress call waiting for me."
" Jr Im glad you made it safely back home." Jessie said with relif.
"Me too dear. Now Buzz, status report."
As Buzz filled Jr in on the events leading up to them being lost in space, Jessies mind wandered back to that kiss.
It was increadble, the way it eased her fears. Although compeltey unexcpected, it was not unwanted.
Though the kissed had claimed her, Jessie could still feel the overwhelming panic edging around the back of her heart. The fear was still there just not as prevalent.
Her grip tightened on Buzzs space suit sleave.
Buzz noticed right away, looking down at her grip then into her face, all the while not stopping his report to Jr.
"Two shocks!?" Jr said alarmed.
"Yes, after the second shock she retured to normal, not glowing blue any more, but suffered a seizure."
" I did What?" Jessie said horrified.
Buzz ignored her and keep on going.
"Now our ship is broken and like I said I do not know our exact coordinates. Can you help us?"
"Do you have the LGMs model number for the ship?"
"Unfortunately the spacecraft is Handmade."
"Hmmm. I could try tracking you using the chip in your suit." Jr said thoughtfully.
"Its worth a shot. My suits chip number is A1132319-94." He said from memory.
" Yes we can certainly try, but remember my technology here at the station is pretty old."
"Anything you can do, helps." Buzz said earnestly.
"Ok lets see what we've got in the old storage closet shall we?"
They heard grunting and heavy movent on the other end. It was obvious that it was taking a lot of effort for Jr to move around. But he didn't say anything.
"Um lets see. Ah- ha found it! Doppler scanner radar version 2.4."
Buzz ran a palm down his face. "Please tell me that's not what I think it is."
"Yep, its one of the originals too." Jr said happily.
The Doppler scanner radar version 2.4 was one of the oldest ways you could track something. Normally it consisted of dots and lines to tell you the things you needed you know.
"Ok we need a serious talk about your funding."
" Well that simple. I don't have any."
Jr laughed at his own joke ruefully.
"Hold on its loading."
Jessie started to sway back and forth.
Are you okay Jessie?" Buzz asked with concern.
"Maybe I should lay down…" she responded softly.
Jessie crawled on her hands and knees to the blankets that had been left on the floor.
Breathe. She told herself.
"Is Jessie alright?" Jr asked concerned, hearing the exchange.
"She seems to be suffering from mental and physical exhaustion, but also severe case of claustrophobia." Buzz said cautiously as he watched Jessie's form plop down on the blankets facing away from him.
"Poor Jessie. I hope you're taking it easy on her Buzz, remember you're used to Rangers who have had years of training to go into space, before they were given into your care. And even then the physical demand is too much for some to handle. She must be like a new born, learning to stand."
"Well She is doing remarkably well so far, other than a slight panic attack. She hasn't vomited...yet."
"Good. She seemed like a tough one."
"I remember my first flight into space." Buzz recalled. "I remembered feeling fine until my inner ear popped, then I threw up all over my commander at the time."
Jr laughed.
"Now, Let's see. Ive entered your suit number and its trying to find you...aaaaand there you are. Looks like you're out side of the Milkyway. But where are you?" He said the last part almost to him self.
With a few more noises from Jrs end that sounded like typing on a key board, Jr sucked in a shocked breath.
"Whoa! Jessies power thrusted you almost half way to Your galaxy Buzz! No wonder your craft doesn't have any power. All of the wires must be metled together. You're basicly floating in a tin can."
" Jr. Focus. Where are we exactly?"
"Right. Well it looks like you're some where in the Gutter."
Buzz felt like the floor had been pulled out from underneath him. The Gutter? That was the worst possible place they could be. Buzz glanced at Jessie. She wouldn't know what that means. They might as well just hand themselves over Zurg now if they wanted to die a painful death.
Buzz sighed.
This mission was having so many problems! Normally one or two things "maybe" went wrong on his other missions, even though all of them were dangerous, but never to this extent.
"Well do you have any Ideas, on how I could get out?"
"Whats that Buzz! I cant hear you, youre breaking up."
Buzz Looked at his wrist communicator. It looked like he was about to drift into another dead zone. He was almost out of range for the transmission to continue.
"Listen Jr! If you can still hear me, We need help!"
"Wha-t's th-at?" Heavy static started to overtake the air way.
"Help! We need help! Try and contact Commander Nebula or my team!"
Buzz I ca-n't...hear... anything fr-om y-ou-r line... but if you're still list-ening... your ship looks like its a-bout to pass a pla-n-et in 6 hours. I do-n't know which o-ne..."
Static was all that was coming through now.
Buzz desperately needed to know which planet, but it was too late, Jr was gone.
