Chapter 27- last!

I walked down Platform 9 and 3/4, searching for my friends. 'Where the hell are they?' I kept on looking for then until I saw 2 tall redheads. Smirking, I clapped them on their shoulders. They turned around and grinned at me. "Hey, what took you so long?" Fred teased me.

"Sorry mate, my Mum woke up late." I apologized.

"The train leaves at 11 o'clock, you know." George chuckled and messed up my dark brown hair. I rolled my eyes; it's not my first year in Hogwarts. I'm entering my sixth year, along with my best friends.

I was having a laugh with Fred and George when their younger brother, Ron, walked along to us with his two best friends, Harry Potter and Hermione Granger. We were all in Gryffindor, a house in Hogwarts. I gave them a curt nod and chatted with them.

My mother suddenly appeared behind us "Do you mind introducing me to your friends?"

I turned around to address her "You know Fred and George. This is Ron, Harry and Hermione." I said, addressing the trio. She gazed intently at Harry, who felt uncomfortable under her gaze. I felt it.

I tried to distract my mother "Let's go see what's up with Scarlett, alright?" I pushed her slightly away from my friends.

"What's has gotten into you, Mum? Why were you looking at him like that?" I asked her.

She sighed and confessed "His mother was my best friend. We were always together. I was devastated during that time; I wanted to raise Harry, but Dumbledore didn't allow it. I'm sure I told you this before." I shook my head, stunned

"You didn't say anything about him."

"Your father is his godfather, and his father was your godfather. Most of my friends were murdered, and some were tortured." She said sadly, looking at a running Neville. I felt bad for my mother.

"I shouldn't have brought it up. I'm sorry." I hugged her. She broke away from the hug and kissed my cheek.

"Harry and Neville don't know about this, and I'd appreciate it if we could keep this a secret", my Mom requested. I nodded.

"Mom! Adam!" Scarlett, my little sister, came up to us holding her black cat. She was truly the spitting image of my mother. When she stopped in her place, her brown ringlets stopped bouncing.

"I wanted to say goodbye to Mom before we get on the train." Scarlett said in her delicate voice. We shared a hug with Mom and went on the train.

As I parted from my children, I couldn't help but tear up a little. 'Of only Sirius were here to see his children going off to school, along with Harry and Neville', I thought sadly to myself. As I watched the Hogwarts Express leave, I remembered certain memories from Hogwarts: how I met my friends, my quarrels with Sirius, and our graduation.

I admit I was a mess after I departed from Sirius twelve years ago. I had to raise two children on my own, even though Genevieve and Remus came along and helped sometimes. It was only about two years ago when Genevieve married a Quidditch player had a child. Remus and I tried to stay in touch, but sadly, we drifted apart. The last owl from him was a year ago stating that he might teach at Hogwarts. I had a difficult time dealing with the depression and yet still raise my kids. Adam and Scarlett frequently asked me about Sirius and I gave them a simple answer: 'Your father's in prison on account of a crime he didn't commit.'

I miss him. I still love him even though I'm mad at him, mad at the fact that he wanted to forget about us. I wish I could see him, even for a minute and tell him that I need him; the kids need him. I wonder if he's still handsome as he is the last time I saw him; if his youth has retained. I miss his laughter, his kisses, his glowing presence, everything about him.

As I walked out from the platform, I noticed a huge black dog peeping from one of the corners at the other side of the station. I double checked and saw it.

I scoffed to myself in disbelief 'Your husband is in a well-secured prison. There's no way it's him!' I walked a little closer to the exit when I took another look at the dog. It walked out from the corner and looked at me with its gray eyes and perked ears. It was waiting as if looking for conformation. It barked and ran away. My feet got tired from standing, so I sat on a bench nearby. Either I was tired, or deep down I wanted to believe it was my husband.

I looked at the stairs, packed with people. When I didn't see the dog, I sighed and got up. "It wasn't him, you daft cow", I muttered to myself as I passed by a deserted office when I felt a tug. I looked down to see the dog grabbing on to the edge of my jacket. "What are you doing?" I giggled as I tried to release its hold of the jacket. It whimpered and dragged me into an office.

I closed the door after me and I laughed. "Aren't you a clever dog? It's like you know me." The dog released its gripped walked behind a wooden desk. I walked over to where it went and it disappeared. I gasped at the sight before my eyes and I felt my eyes were like saucers.

He lay there before my eyes, still in his Azkaban uniform. He opened his eyes to look at me. I took a look to inspect his face: he aged somewhat, but I could still see his youthful side. This was the man I fell in love with. The moment he looked at me, his eyes sparkled with excitement, something I didn't see on that Halloween night. He sat up and hugged me. "Oh my Bo, I missed you so much." His voice was lower, more parental.

I couldn't help but cry "I love you, Sirius".

I disconnected from the hug and gazed into his eyes again. I was still mad at him, but seeing him again finally made me understand why he ordered me to move on. Sirius wiped his tears and said "I love you too. I thought I would never see you again. You are so beautiful. You haven't aged a bit."

I blushed. "You liar." I smirked. I had to know how he got away. He told me that Dementors couldn't keep track of animals and he was determined to prove that Peter killed Lily and James.

I was so thrilled to see him that I've forgotten we were still in Kings Cross. Sirius laughed "Let's go home, shall we?" I grinned and nodded.

Before we left the office, I asked him "How did you know I was here?"

"Well, I knew you weren't going to send our children to any other school." We shared a smile. "Did you see our children leave?"

Sirius nodded "Of course. Scarlett looks a lot like you." I was surprised; Scarlett was born after Sirius was imprisoned.

"How did you-"

"Did you forget about my amazing ability to sneak up on people?" He cut me off smugly. I shook my head and laughed. Sirius transformed back to his canine form so that he wouldn't be recognized, and with that, we left Kings Cross to pick up where we left off.
