Author's Note: It lives! Sorry, sorry, sorry. I have been gone so long and you've all probably given up on this fic, but I promised two more chapters and I will deliver. It's so short I'm sorry, I promise the last one will be long and lovey and as good as I can manage.

Chapter 29

The snow fell softly across the land as the party moved to the room that had been turned into the dance hall. Shafts of sunlight flickered across the room. John was mesmerized by the way the light caught Sherlock's eyes, and Sherlock appreciated the halo effect that it gave John's hair.

John and Sherlock held each other as closely as possible for the first dance. It went a lot smoother than all of their previous lessons had gone. Not that Sherlock had ever minded.

John kept his posture rigged, still a tad self-conscious of his dancing. Sherlock rolled his eyes at his husband- his husband, he thought giddily- and pressed his lips to John's.

Sherlock felt the tension in John's back ease and smiled. John looked up into his husband's face and grinned back.

"Git," he muttered fondly.

"I have come to the conclusion that you mean that as a term of endearment," Sherlock said smugly.

"And I have come to the conclusion that you are absolutely right, as always."

Sherlock's eyes widened slightly. His placid expression once more changed to a grin.

"That should be in writing."

"Hmm, if it were, you might frame it and put it on the wall-"

"What would be wrong with that, exactly?"

"And then shoot it," John deadpanned and Sherlock tried to look offended, but he chuckled after a second.

Tilly watched from the sidelines excitedly. She was so happy for the two of them she felt she would burst. It was enough to make her overlook the fact that they were leaving her with Mycroft for two months while they toured Europe on Honeymoon.

She had insisted on a long honeymoon, seeing as they had been separated for a ridiculously long time.

She couldn't wait to try cracking John's blog password. She had promised the followers wedding details, after all. Maybe she should start her own blog…

She decided to think about it after she hacked Mycroft's computer for anything interesting.
