Kakarot could not believe his eyes. The city was absolutely massive! I don't think I've ever seen such a large city. "This place is huge!" Goten said voicing his father's thoughts, "I wonder how all these people get around without getting lost." Vegeta surprised everyone by answering the boy's question. "In actuality very few people leave their area of the city. Niwa is divided into five quadrants, one for each class, only those with special permits may cross from one area to another. The center is the only 'free range' zone, most of the common markets are there." As they drove through the city it occurred to Kakarot that there weren't many other vehicles. When he mentioned this it was once again Vegeta who answered, "Not many Saiyans know how to drive Kakarot. Why would they? Everyone here can fly so there is little point for vehicles other than transporting food and goods around the planet. Only the elites have personal vehicles and even then they hardly ever use them." After another half-hour of driving they seemed to have arrived at their destination. They drove through a small gate and stopped in a small courtyard in front of a nice looking town house. This can't be where we are supposed to be, it has to be just some sort of waiting area, thought Kakarot as he stepped off the bus. He stood around with the others taking in the scenery around them. "Where are we?" Gohan asked, looking up at the house. Raditz smiled, "My house. We can't arrive at the palace in that," he gestured to the bus, "so we decided to stop here, change and fly the rest of the way." He couldn't help but laugh at the looks they gave him. "This is your house uncle?" Goten looked at his uncle in a whole new light. Kaida just shook her head, "are Jicama and Ragu home Uncle?" Raditz shook his head, "No they're spending the festival with Jicama's parents, but they will be at grandfather's place so you'll see them there." Kakarot looked over at his brother, "Who are Jicama and Ragu?" Kaida chuckled as she walked away while Raditz answered his brother. "My mate and my son." Turning Raditz headed into the house leaving his stunned brother and nephews behind.

Once she was changed Bulma headed back out into the courtyard, wanting to get another look at the architecture of the building before leaving. As soon as very one was gathered in the court yard. Vegeta smirked at her as he wrapped his arm and tail around her before taking off into the sky. She let out a little shriek as he took off, wrapping her arms tight around his neck and wrapped her tail tight around his waist. 'You are such an asshole, you know that?' he just laughed at her.

Kakarot laughed as he watched Vegeta and Bulma blast off into the sky. Turning slightly he held out his hand to Chi-Chi so that they could follow the others. Chi-Chi looked at her husband's hand as if it were a snake waiting to bite her. "Goku, you know I don't like flying." Shaking her head she backed away from him. Kakarot followed her, still holding out his hand, "Come on Chi-Chi, if we don't go now I'm going to have to fly faster just to catch up with them. Let's go!" She shook her head again and tried to take another step back, instead she was pushed from behind into his arms. Kakarot had seen Kaida sneak up behind Chi-Chi, so he wasn't surprised when she crashed into his arms. He wrapped them tight around her and took to the sky, Kaida right on his heels.

Chi-Chi shrieked as she wrapped her arms in a death grip around his neck. "Please be careful Goku, don't drop me." He looked slightly confused, "Why would you think that? I would never drop you Chi-Chi." To prove his point Kakarot wrapped his tail around her waist for added protection. His plan backfired. Chi-Chi screamed at the first feel of his tail, "Get that thing off me!" Kakarot looked hurt and even more confused, but did as she asked. They flew in silence for a couple of minutes, trying to catch up with the other while not going too fast.

"Wow, check out that building Trunks. It's huge!" Goten shouted over to his friend. The boys had been enjoying looking at all the different buildings as they flew slowly over the city. "It's even bigger than your house." Trunks nodded in agreement, "It's really cool looking too. I wonder that that one is used for." Vegeta smirked as he flew over to the two boys, "that is home." He dived down landing softly in front of the massive set of stairs that led to a huge pair of imposing doors. The others landed close behind him. As soon as Kakarot landed Chi-Chi jumped out of his arms, pushing him away. He turned to her, intending on finding out what was wrong but was interrupted by fan-fair as the doors opened. He looked up to see what was happening.

At the top of the stairs stood the king and queen with Geta. Kaida immediately dropped into a curtsy while Kakarot and the boys took a moment longer before they bowed as well. When everyone was standing, Vegeta leads Bulma up the stairs with the others, once again, close behind. Bulma looked around as she enters the palace, awe struck. This is amazing. I've never seen anything like this before, not even close. The floor was made from a shiny black stone, it looks like one huge piece of stone and I can see myself in it! The walls and ceiling were looked like they had been carved out of white marble, columns lined the walls dotted here and there with red tapestries bearing the royal crest. The king and queen led them through another room, which somehow was even more impressive than the entrance hall, and into a receiving room. Compared with the other rooms, this one was almost cozy. The walls were covered in a royal blue wallpaper with an intricate nature pattern. The black stone floor wasn't as shiny here and mostly covered in blood red rugs. Throughout the room there were white chairs for those who wanted to sit. The king and queen both took a chair as Vegeta guided Bulma into one as well, standing behind her.

"I hope you all had a pleasant trip here," the queen said smiling at Bulma. "It was really cool," Trunks exclaimed as he and Goten wandered closer to where the royals sat. "Ya! We saw an oki…oka…"

"Okami," Trunks corrected. "That's it! An okami! It was really neat, it kinda looked like a huge wolf." Xeraphina smiled at the excited boy and turned to her grandson, "what did you think of the okami Trunks?" Trunks shifted his weight and looked down at his boots, "I don't really like dogs…"

A shout from the hall could be heard through the closed doors, which Raditz opened in order to find out what was going on. The second the door opened a huge dog pushed his way in followed by two smaller (but still quite large) dogs. Goten rushed forward crying "Puppies!" stopping only when he was eye to eye with the largest one. "Goten no!" Chi-Chi shouted as she pulled him away from the dog, "Stay away from those animals. They're probably dangerous." Goten tried to protest but his mother's glare kept him silent. "There you are!" Chi-Chi turned to see Kaida kneeling on the floor holding out her arms. The three dogs rushed forward into her waiting arms, nearly knocking her over. "Oh! How are my boys? Did you miss me?" she rubbed her face into their fur, rubbing each one, holding them close.

Kakarot looked at his daughter, shaking his head, like this she really looks like Gohan and Goten. She actually looks happy. For the first time since he arrived Kakarot saw a true smile on her face, one that reached her eyes, even her laugh was different, more open. In that moment Kakarot saw the young girl she might have been if she stayed on earth.
