A/N: Hey guys! How're ya'll doing? I know I haven't posted in a long time (sorry about that!), but college has kept me pretty busy (there, I gave you guys a hint to my age, happy now? :P). Finals are next week too, but I have some free time right now, so I'm gonna FINALLY post this chapter. To be honest (you guys will probably hate me for this XD), I actually had this chapter ready to post for a long time, I just either forgot about it or was too busy to post it. But, here it finally is! Actually...not yet, first, we have to get to the reviews!

DarkPrinnyVegito: I'm glad you like her and the story! :D

nyanyanya22 (I'm gonna reply to your reviews here :P): (For first review) Pretty much, yeah. It was mostly just chance, kind of like when a kid is "made" (Don't even think about it guys XD). (For second review) Yeah. (For third review) Haha :P.

Saiyan God.101: Thanks! As for that, well...I guess you could say there was something like a "glitch" when the scientists created her and she's not able to communicate with them right now.

Guest 1: I understand why you would say that, I've actually been trying to give you all hints as to why these scientists can hurt Goku and the others, make machinery able to match a Saiyan's speed, and stuff like that. But things will get more clear the closer we get to the end (*tear*), I promise :). I'm glad you like it though, and I understand, it's find :).

Dionysus013: ?

Guest 2: I understand, I'm actually trying to make to make Goku's and Segira's relationship more like a father/daughter kind of relationship. Some of that is a little hard for me to write (for reasons I won't say), but I'm doing the best I can with them. As for Gohan and Segira as a pairing, I actually decided (while I was posting this) that they would become a couple (with the help of the readers too :) ), so their scenes together won't be as cute as they will be later. Like the one in this chapter :P. Also, Segira doesn't really know anything about dating or stuff or like, so she's not really knowing what she's doing action-wise sometimes (if that makes sense). But yeah, I'm still working on their relationships and stuff.

Thanks for all the reviews guys! I really appreciate them all! That includes the bad ones so I know what I should be working on (I mean, I'm not perfect like Perfect Cell [*cough* hes not perfect, he's an overgrown bug *cough*]). They also work as a sort of motivator, you guys have no idea how badly I wanted to post this and reply to your reviews. So thanks again for them! Now then, you guys have waited long enough, here's the next chapter!

Gohan suddenly woke with a start when he heard the front door of the house close. He slowly sat up in his bed and looked around with tired eyes, it was just passed 4 in the morning, so the sun wasn't even up yet. He yawned and rubbed his eye with his knuckle before looking at Segira's side of the bed, but she wasn't there.

"What the-where'd she go?" He thought as he swung his legs over the side of his bed to stand up, He stretched his legs a bit before walking out of his room to look around the house for Segira, being careful to be quiet so no one else would wake up. However, he couldn't find her anywhere in the house, she wasn't in his room, Goten's room, his parents' room, the kitchen, the bathroom, the living room, or the dining room. "Where the heck is she?" He thought again, standing in the middle of the living room.

It wasn't until then that he remembered the sound of the front door opening that had woken him. So, he quietly slipped outside from the front door, cracking it a bit once he was outside, and started looking for Segira again. He found her almost immediately though, she was sitting on the edge of a cliff that wasn't that far from the house, the same cliff that his mom would always lecture him and Goten not to go near it when they were kids so they wouldn't fall, and she was gazing up at the half-full moon. She didn't seem to notice him yet as she sat there, her tail was curled up next to her and flicking around occasionally.

"What's she doing out here?" He thought before walking over to her. "Segira? What're you doing out here? It's 4 in the morning." He told her.

Segira almost jumped when he said that and she jerked her head around to look at him, a startled look on her face, but then she sighed in relief when she saw it was just him. "Oh, hey, Gohan. I'm sorry if I woke you up, I was just thinking of some stuff and couldn't sleep…" She replied quietly before look back up at the moon.

"This early in the morning!?" Gohan thought in shock, but he didn't say anything, instead, he sat down next to her, being careful to watch her tail. "What were you thinking about?" He finally asked after a few minutes of silence.

Segira looked at him for a moment before looking down once again. "Stuff…" She replied, her voice still quiet.

He looked at her curiously. "Like what? If it's something bad, I want to help you."

She didn't respond for a while, but after about a minute or so of silence, she looked over at him again. "W-well…lately, I've been having these nightmares, and…they all end the same… I watch you, Goku, and everyone else get killed right in front of me…and I can't do anything to save you guys…I'm too weak to help…" She replied, looking down as tears formed in her eyes. "I finally have people who care about me…and I care for them…but I can't even protect them!" She thought as her tears started to stream down her face.

Gohan looked at her sadly for a moment before looking down, trying to think of something to say that wouldn't hurt her feelings. After a few seconds, he looked back at her and spoke up. "You're not weak, Segira, you're pretty strong and you're getting even stronger every day thanks to all the training you're doing. In fact, I think you're going to transform into a Super Saiyan soon." He told her, and he wasn't lying either.

She looked up at him, tears still streaming down her face. "Really…?" She asked quietly, wiping some of her tears away with her hand.

Gohan smiled softly and nodded. "Yeah, and my dad thinks the same thing. So don't think you're weak and useless, cause you're not. Okay?"

Segira stared at him for a moment before smiling happily and suddenly hugging him. "Thank you, Gohan." She said softly, she didn't know how to tell him how much it meant to her to hear him say that, so she didn't say anything else.

Gohan stared at her nervously for a second or two before smiling and hugging her back. "You're welcome, Segira." He told her, he was kind of starting to get used to her way of showing affection.

Segira had stopped crying, but there were still tear streaks on her face. They pulled away after a minute or so and She wiped her face with her hand again, wiping the tear streaks off her face, as she smiled slightly again. "I'm sorry…I'm such a crybaby…" She told him.

He smiled back a bit. "You don't have to apologize, I was a crybaby when I was little."

She looked up at him with a lifted eyebrow. "You were?" She looked pretty shocked to hear that.

He nodded. "Yeah, but I'll tell you about that later. I think we should get back inside and get some sleep though." He said as he started to stand up, but Segira grabbed his arm and stopped him.

"Can we stay out here a little longer though? Please? It's so quiet and beautiful out here at night." She told him.

He looked at her with a surprised look on his face, blinking a bit. "But, it's almost 5:00…" He started to tell her, but his voice trailed off as he looked at her, her eyes were wide and hopeful. He tilted his head down and looked off to the side with his eyes for a few seconds before sighing slowly in defeat and looked back at her. "Alright, we can stay out a bit longer." He said after a few minutes. Sure, he was going to lose a lot of sleep and be really tired tomorrow, but nothing was really going on tomorrow. He didn't have school and his dad told him they would take a break from training and relax for the day.

Segira's eyes lit up and she smiled happily before hugging him. "Thank you!" She said.

Gohan couldn't help but smile and he ruffled her hair playfully. "You're welcome."

They sat on the edge of the cliff in silence, gazing up at the moon together. "The moon sure is pretty…" Segira said after a few minutes of silence as she stared up at the moon with a small smile.

Gohan looked at her for a few seconds before smiling softly. "Yeah, it is." He agreed, he couldn't help but stare at her as he said that though, luckily for him, she didn't notice. After a few minutes, he noticed that the sky was slowly starting to get brighter and he looked in the east to see the sun slowly starting to rise. It was then that he had an idea. "Hey, Segira? Have you ever seen a sunrise before?" Gohan asked her.

She looked at him with a lifted eyebrow. "A sunrise? No, what's that?" She replied.

"I think it would be easier to show you than to explain it."

She had a confused look on her face, but before she could ask him what he meant, he pointed at the rising sun. She looked to see what he was pointing at and her expression turned into awe, her mouth practically dropped open as she saw the dark sky started to turn into a lighter blue and orange color with some purple and pink mixed in as well. Her expression suddenly brightened and she smiled again though as she watched the sun rise behind the mountains.

"It's so pretty!" She said in awe.

Gohan nodded in agreement as they watched the sunrise. "'Course, a sunset's even prettier than a sunrise, in my opinion anyways."

Segira scooted closer to him and leaned against him, resting her head on his chest. "Can you show me one someday?" She was starting to feel tired now.

He looked at her with wide, shocked eyes, blushing heavily when she rested her head on his chest. He quickly looked up, scratching his cheek with his index finger bashfully. "Uh, sure I can…" He said nervously.

She smiled and nodded slightly before closing her eyes lightly as she listened to his steady, strong heartbeat, but it was beating a little fast for a reason she didn't know. "Thanks, Gohan…" She said before drifting off to sleep.

Gohan looked down at her when he noticed she had fallen asleep, she looked pretty out of it now. He smiled at her, but he hesitated a bit before starting to stroke her hair softly, he was a little embarrassed and he only did it slow and awkward at first, but then his smile widened and he fell into a sort of rhythm as he kept stroking her hair. He didn't realize it yet, but he actually had his arms wrapped around her and was holding her close. He kept holding her and stroking her hair for a while before he eventually picked her up gently and carried her into the house, being careful not to wake anyone up. When he got to his room, he gently set Segira down on the bed before getting into the bed next to her, pulling the blankets over them both, before closing his eyes to go to sleep, exhausted, but he didn't fall asleep yet.

Ever since he and Segira met, they've slowly been closer and closer without either of them really trying. Segira did tend to do things that would make others think they were a couple, but he knew she didn't mean to. He did have to admit though, he did have feelings for her, and, by her actions around him, he was pretty sure she had feelings for him too, but, he didn't really know how to tell her, or how he would explain that to her.

"I'll think about it later, it's late and there's no rush, right" Gohan thought to himself. And it was true, unless those scientists found out where they were hiding Segira, she wasn't leaving them anytime soon. With that in mind, Gohan finally let himself fall asleep.

"Hey guys, you're not gonna believe what I just saw." A man, who was sitting in a van, said.

Another man in the same van looked at him curiously. "Oh really? What did you find then, Luke?" The man asked the first man named Luke.

Luke looked from the other man to out the window again with a pair of binoculars as a teenaged boy picked up a sleeping girl and carried her out of sight, he was grinning widely. "I found 817, and her little hiding place."

A/N: Well then...that's not good... I'll let you guys say what you think will happen in a review/PM if you. All I'll say is: the next chapter should be interesting. But yeah, don't be shy to leave a review, or send me a PM or message on Facebook, with what you have to say what's going on, anything you wanna request, or if you want me to make sense of anything (possibly). Well, that's it for this chapter. But, I did not forget the preview for the next one :). The next chapter is called "Captured" (*hint hint [you guys are probably gonna hate it]) by the way I'll leave it here for you guys and I'll "see" you guys in the next chapter! Until then!

"There it is!" Segira thought when she saw the clearing coming into view, it was just a few hundred feet ahead of her. She pushed herself to run faster, breaking out of the forest in just a few seconds, and she immediately kicked off the ground to launch herself up into the air right before she could fall off the cliff. "I made it!" She thought again, thinking she didn't have to worry about the scientists anymore as she ascended. But she suddenly felt something pierce her skin on her right leg as she flew. She immediately looked down to see what had hit her, hoping it wasn't what she thought it was, but to her horror, she saw a dart sticking out of her leg. To make things worse, all the liquid was gone.
