The week of finals were always hectic. Last minute cram sessions, pulling all nighters, having friends over to gather information someone may have missed. Currently, Allison was all of them at once. Never leaving her bedroom unless she had to use the bathroom or grab some coffee to keep herself awake.

With Allison always locked up in her bedroom, Sherlock and John nearly forgot she lived with them. Practically the only time they'd know she was still alive was when they heard her pacing in her room. Other than that, neither males saw her when they were home.

"Allison?" John called from the hallway, standing in front of the closed bedroom door that belonged to the blonde. If he listened closely, he could hear muttering on the other side. Not even waiting for her to answer him - then again, she was far too preoccupied with whatever she was currently cramming into her head and opened the door..

Inside the room, he saw Allison pacing back and forth while holding papers that were probably past exams and homework assignments. Judging by the formulas she was currently uttering under her breath, she was most likely studying for her Chem exam. "Ally?" John asked again, leaning against the door frame and waiting for her to notice him.

Allison, being oblivious to the fact her father was in the doorway, she continued to look over her work and muttering all the formulas she had learned over the past year. By the time she finally stopped, she turned around to go back to her desk, but jumped in surprise when she saw John in the opened doorway. "When did you get there?" She asked, taking her reading glasses off and setting her things on her desk.

"I've been here waiting for you to notice." John asked, somewhat annoyed. "Sherlock and I were heading out to eat, you care to join us? You could use the break."

As much as she wanted to decline the offer, she spent her entire weekend cramming. Hell, she even ignored the texts she's been receiving from Alex and the rest of her friends..She didn't know where her phone was at this point with all of her textbooks and papers littered everywhere. Taking her hair down from her messy bun, she sighed. "Yeah, can I take a quick shower first?" She asked, earning a nod from John as she moved past him and went to the bathroom. While waiting for her to come out, John went back downstairs.

"Has she finally decided to come out of her cave?" Sherlock inquired, looking over paperwork.

"Surprisingly. She's in the shower right now."

After about twenty minutes of waiting - which was much longer than they anticipated waiting for one teenager. When Allison finally decided to join the two men, they left. Deciding not to go far, they walked to Angelo's. Since it was the first time they've sat down together for dinner in a while, it was awkward to say the least. At least, until John tried to break the awkwardness.

"So..you have exams this week?"

"Yeah, I have Chem and Mathematics tomorrow."

"Nervous?" John asked, almost stupidly as Allison shrugged her shoulders.

"I guess.." Allison answered, shrugging her shoulders.

Soon, they were engulfed into yet another awkward silence. The void filled by them eating - with the exception of Sherlock but he never ate in the first place. However, the silence didn't last when Sherlock finally decided to open his mouth;

"So, I hear your boyfriend is out of the country, right?"

Allison blinked as she chewed. She's been too caught up in studying, she didn't even know the status of her friends..let alone her own boyfriend. "I..guess? I haven't talked to him in a while."

Of course, Allison expected him to drop the conversation but Sherlock had another plan all together. "Is it because you lost your phone in that pit you call a room or is it because he's probably cheating on you?"

..Not a very good discussion to be having at the dinner table.

"..Excuse you?" She asked, gripping her glass tightly without realising it.

"Well, I would have thought it made it obvious that he's away so often is only because he's probably seeing someone overseas and just proclaiming that he's seeing his Army recruiter."

"Sherlock you might want to stop now." John cut in but by that part, Allison already splashed her drink on Sherlock's face and left the restaurant.

Speechless for once in his lip, he wiped his face with his napkin while John just sat there across from him, annoyed. "Nice job."

"I thought I was being kind."

"Telling her that her boyfriend may be cheating on her before finals start is not being kind, Sherlock. That's cruel."

"Well, I didn't say that was the truth. It's a possibility." Sherlock shrugged his shoulders as the two got up from their seats and began to make their way home.

When they walked through the front door, John went up to Allison's room to talk with her, but found her door locked and a huge DO NOT DISTURB sign on her door.
