Natasha sat on the floor cross-legged once again.

"Give it a little time, okay?" Natasha said, "I don't know how I did it last time."

She closed her eyes and tried to use the "spiritual energy" inside her (whatever that was) to find Appa. (She already knew he was under Lake Laogai, but she needed to see if, in fact, she could do it again.)

Suddenly, she opened her eyes. There she was, under Lake Laogai, looking at Appa.

"We're coming for you, buddy," she said, transporting back to her own body.

Natasha opened her physical body's eyes.

"There's a secret Dai Li headquarters under Lake Laogai," Natasha said, standing up, "That's where Appa is."

"The Dai Li!" Katara said, "I knew they were up to no good!"

"We should wait," Natasha said, "Until sunrise. It's too risky to go out at night."

So they all went to bed and tried to rest before retrieving Appa.

o.O.o

Her head hurt again. She was in that same dream that she had a million times. Natasha forced herself to wake up before anything could happen.

"Natasha?" Toph said.

"Hmm?" Natasha sat up. "Toph?"

"I could feel you squirming around. It kept me up. What's the matter?"

Natasha shook her head. "There's this dream that I keep having… it's really disturbing…"

"Dreams always mean something," Toph said, "What's it about?"

"Well… my head. I keep having headaches associated with the dream. I'm alone somewhere and I can't see anything—sorry—but what's scary is when I feel blood trickling down my face."

"You should probably be careful," Toph said, "It sounds like a warning for something coming."

"What does?" Katara asked, coming into Natasha's room.

"A dream she's having," Toph said, "followed by headaches."

Katara looked at Natasha. "Does your head hurt right now?"

"Um, a little bit." Natasha said.

"Lie down on your stomach," Katara said. "Where does it hurt?"

Natasha lay down on her stomach. "Um, a little in the back and on my right side."

Katara took some of her bending water and rubbed it on those spots on Natasha's head.

"You used this on the swamp guys," Natasha said.

"Would you rather be in pain?"

"Um, no. Keep going."

Natasha's head finally stopped throbbing.

"Thanks," Natasha said.

o.O.o

But her head hurt more the following morning.

"Natasha?" Aang said, walking into her room. "Are you feeling alright?"

"Noooo…" Natasha said, grasping her hair in pain.

"What hurts?"

"My head,"

Aang turned around. "Katara!"

"She already did it last night. It appears to have made it worse."

Katara showed up anyway.

"She says you tried to help her headache last night," Aang said. "Natasha says it's back and it's worse."

Natasha started crying. "I don't know if I can lead you to Appa because of this."

"Don't worry about that right now," Aang said. "Just keep still. Don't—"

"AAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Natasha screamed in pain.

"I'm up, I'm up!" Sokka yelled, running to Natasha's room.

"This is just like at the North Pole…" Natasha muttered.

Aang's ears perked up. "You mean when Zhao—"

"Yes,"

Aang looked at her, then back at Katara. "Natasha must be linked to the spirits somehow."

"Well, she is the Avatar's sister." Sokka said.

"That still shouldn't be happening!" Aang said. "The Avatar is the Great Bridge between worlds. That—Natasha shouldn't be able to—"

"Look, we're going to need to put off finding Appa again. We need to find out what's going on with Natasha." Katara said.

"No," Natasha said, "I can do it."

Aang put his hands on her shoulders. "Natasha, not while you're like this. Katara," Aang looked at her, "Do the healing thing to keep the pain manageable for now. If she starts to hurt again then do it again. I'll—"

"She's out," Toph said.

"What?" Aang looked at Natasha. At that moment, Natasha fell backwards.
