"Oh my God." the other officer said as he hopped out the back of the van and saw the GCPD building completely on fire from one side.
A car-sized hole had blown out of the brick wall and flames licked out from it. A firetruck and multiple firemen were already on the scene and Loeb was talking with the chief when the officer ran over to his superior. He was yelling at the chief and looked like he was about to punch him.
"Sir! What should we do with the Batman and the Joker? We still have to put them somewhere!" the officer yelled over the arguments.
Commissioner Loeb's face sunk and he hit the hood of his squad car. He looked at the officer and sighed with nervousness.
"Years back, we made a plan that in case anything were to happen with the building, we could still handle prisoners on a special for at the Gotham Angels' Hospital. They agreed that in case something like this happened, they would offer space for our prisoners. Take them there and tell the front desk woman that we have a Code Yellow 4. Dammit." Loeb replied.
"Yes, sir!" the officer said, running back to the S.W.A.T. van.
"So... the Angels' Hospital. Sounds nice." Joker laughed as they drove to the safe zone.
Batman gave the Joker a look and observed his expressions. He seemed overly-joyed at the fact of going to the hospital as if he knew about the plan itself. He sat up and watched the Joker lick his lips and give a big over-exaggerated yawn.
"What are you planning? You wouldn't have set yourself up to get arrested unless you had a reason." Batman said after a few moments of silence.
"Me?" Joker replied in a mocking voice.
"Whatever are you talking about? It is a shame though about the police station. All those pigs and bacon overcooked." he continued, shaking his head.
Batman watched as the two officers stood up and looked down at Joker.
"You want some? Oink oink?" Joker said with a smile.
"Officers..." Batman said quietly.
They turned to him and watched as he shook his head slowly and with warning. The Joker chuckled to himself and gave a sigh. He watched as the officers sat back down with all the force and free will they had.
"Aw... Batman. You're such a buzzkill, man. Don't you want a little fun before we become cellmates at Blackgate?" the Joker asked.
"We won't be cellmates. I'm a simple criminal and you're guilty of multiple murders, you're a thief, and a terrorist. You'll be put under the needle, you son of a bitch." Batman growled.
"Don't ruin the moment. You're making these men sad." Joker said with a sinister yet innocent tone.
He watched as Joker moved in his seat for a moment and Batman saw that the officers hadn't been watching, possibly just letting the two "psychos" talk it out. Batman moved quickly and tried to get the attention of the cops. But with one quick swipe of his hand, Batman watched as a small pipe flipped into Joker's mouth from behind and he blew on it, a thin, metal syringe flying into his chin. Batman grunted slightly and the men turned around unfortunately as Joker ran at them and jumped on the seats, slamming his wrist and the cuffs against the front of Peters' neck. He groaned in pain and the second officer was headbutted, bloody flying from his nose as he laid knocked out on the floor of the van. Batman tried to move but whatever was in the syringe had completely paralyzed him.
"No!" Batman yelled softly as he watched Joker choke Peters to death, blood slicing from his neck and the chains pushing through the flesh.
Peters gurgled his own blood as the Joker gave a smile and twisted his neck 180 degrees. His dead body was slowly sat against the seat to lower noise and he walked over towards the second officer, picking his limp body up as he got the key out from the left side of his belt and unlocked the cuffs. Batman wiggled on the ground as the bloody officer's face in front of his. The Joker found a small pocket knife inside the dead Peters' jacket and he gave a child-like moan.
"What a cowinky-dink. Huh, B-man?" he laughed as the van turned a large corner and Joker nearly lost his balance.
Batman fought with all his strength to move but was helpless against the drug inside him. The Joker leaned over and carefully pulled out the metal syringe and stabbing it into the unconscious officer's neck, him starting to move as he felt the pain. Batman kicked the back of the van but Joker put his foot on his neck, stopping him from making any sudden movements.
"Oh! Look who's awake!" Joker laughed, giving the wounded officer a rough neck massage, pulling out the needle and pushing more blood out.
The officer moved around as he woke up and before he could see who was attacking him, the Joker flipped the knife into both hands and he jabbed the knife inside his back, twisting it around as blood shot out and the blade scratched a sickening noise against his spine. The cop jerked around and was about to scream before the Joker pulled the blade out and stabbed him in the heart as Batman tried to scream. He couldn't stop this madman. Blood poured onto the floor and it dampened Batman's front plates with dark liquid. He stabbed the officer five more times all over his chest and once more in his open mouth, killing the cop and leaving him in a disturbing position.
"Did you enjoy the fun? Sorry that your costume got a little messed-up but I'm guessing you can get this thing dry-cleaned." Joker mused as he brushed his hand over Batman's cowl.
Batman tried to jerk away but the Joker forced him to stay still, dancing his fingers on top of his temple as he hummed an upbeat song with cheesy lyrics.
"What are you doing? What the hospital... do with this?" Batman said, struggling to get his words out.
"The hospital is the final step before I execute the big one, my friend. It's going to be great, I can promise you that." Joker exclaimed, tapping the bloody knife on the cowl as he pulled it from the officer's bloody mouth.
"And don't worry, Batman. You are a part of this and I wouldn't have you miss this for the world. This change of course is for a reason. You're the entire motive for my little set-up. The toxin inside you paralyzes for six minutes. That's enough time for me to get away and for you to watch as people die in front of you. People that you could've saved. I really wanna know, Bats... how does that feel? Hm? Knowing that because of one little mistake... you could've caused all of this?" Joker said, leaning down beside Batman.
"Seriously though..." Joker began, looking at his enemy's angry and hurting eyes.
"How... does... that... feel?"
