Entry no. 29: Faith
Before I unleash my writing on you, I would like to do a few things, that being addressing your reviews because you sure deserve to be acknowledged, guys.
So. To akirasatsuna: I'm so happy you enjoyed that NejiTen and that you're not annoyed by me mentioning every little thing in my A/Ns... :D Neji and Tenten are great characters, so... I guess I will try for them to appear in those oneshots more. And ohmygod, so much praise... I think I'm blushing... :)
To LilyVampire: I'm soooo glad you like what I write! Who could not update when they have such a great support! And to the subject of being a dreamer like Tenten... I'm afraid that everyone has to get over a crush like this, but only a few are as lucky as Tenten... which doesn't make the fact any less beautiful. ;) Hope you were one of the lucky ones. (BTW, if you have a favourite pairing, I can try and write something about the pair.)
SasuSaku. AU of unidentified colour… :P A shorty again, but there's one longer coming soon...
She couldn't move.
If he decided to break his promise, to turn on them, end it here and now, there was nothing to stop him.
"Sakura…"
"I'll be fine."
"No you won't. Even I see that…"
"So grant me a wish."
"What?"
"Grant me a wish then, Sasuke-kun. It might be the last one."
"What wish?"
"Help them."
"… I can't. You're… they're enemies."
"You can change that."
"I can't! If I won't obey him…"
"Sasuke-kun."
"…No. No, Sakura, don't make me."
"If you don't, they will die. And that, I would never forgive you for."
"…Sakura."
"Promise to me."
"I…"
"Promise."
"I promise."
And then he left.
He left her with a wound that was probably mortal and her faith.
It was a blind faith, yes, the kind of faith only those who love know.
But she had faith in Sasuke, that he won't break his promise. That he will grant her the wish.
And that faith was enough.
