Chapter 29
MASTER POV
He pulled back as the TARDIS controls shocked him again. He was trying to work out how to control how the ship jumped from the two universes. Yet as hard as he tried he could not figure out how the ship did it. It should be impossible; litterly there should be no possible way for it to even happen. The Master only knew one thing for certain. Every time it happened to him, and every time it happened to the Doctor, it had one thing in common. There was something to do with Rose every single time.
He smiled at the thought of his little ape. It was coming around the time that he should pick her up. It has been about a week since he got Jack into his power. He had taken this time to do what he wished. To take a break from being the hero and be his true self. He blew up a few planets and enslaved others. It was really fun but now it was time to once again put his plan in action.
The drug the Master had given Rose was to make her extremely sick. She would be in a lot of pain, but he made sure it would not kill her. It was actually made to keep her alive while it worked. Within a few days of it entering her system she would not have energy to walk. He hated the thought of her having to go through with all this but it would be worth it. She would think the Doctor did it to her, she would blame him.
Now it was more than simply then hurting the Doctor, watching him suffer was only a plus. The Master had learn to love and care for Rose. He knew that she only made him weak, but a small part of him liked it. He liked being someone's hero, no; he liked being her hero, or protector.
But the drums, they demanded violence and he could not go cold turkey like he did before with Rose. He would have to find another way. He would spend the day with her and while she slept he could do what he wanted. Not every night, just a few times a week. Her night terrors were an issue, but she never remembered screaming every night. So what if he was not there the entire time? He could lock her door if she awoke. Tell her it was for her safety and she would believe it. It pained him to leave her like that, but that was the only way he could deal with the drums without her finding out about them. And if she did somehow figure out the truth, he would just make her forget again.
He cringed at the thought of having to play with her mind again. Last time he trashed her mind pretty bad and she was still recovering from it. He did not want to, but he would if needed. He was not going to keep her forever.
