A/N: I just really love Fairy Tail...thought that I would share that.

It was raining once again in Magnolia Town the sound of the water bouncing against the rooftops echoed throughout the town, and the town's residents tried in vain to avoid getting soaked.

The rain however didn't discourage a small group of mages. The salmon haired Clarissa Dragneel was once again dancing in the rain, her wild hair stuck to her face and rain dripping down her skin.

The water mage responsible was stood watching with a small smile, a small lilac coloured exceed was stood next to her and the ground around them was perfectly dry.

Juvia was happy to see her friend smile, she had watched her return to Magnolia a broken woman and it had hurt her. Rissy always smiled, her grin was one that tended to lighten her day and she merely wished to return a favour.

"I'm glad to see Rissy-Chan so happy" Lavender stated with a small smile. Juvia glanced down at the exceed with a smile before turning her attentions back to said mage.

"Juvia is happy too" She answered as she continued to watch her friend. It was almost as if all her worries had been cast aside, all her pain and like the water she was truly free and allowed to truly smile.

"Juvia thinks it was about time Rissy-Chan smiled"

To say festivities were high was an understatement for the mages of Fairy Tail had decided to celebrate the return of their own i style. Being new to the guild, Rissy had yet to learn on the traditional Fairy Tail parties however she learned quick enough thanks to her friends.

She was currently sat at on the tables next to her usual companions; Lucy, Juvia and Levy. The girls watching from a safe distance as the majority of the male guild members started on grilling Rogue on his relationship with Rissy.

"He does look a little uncomfortable" Levy pointed out as she craned her neck to get a better glance.

Turning Rissy noticed a slightly stiff Rouge take a small step away from Elfman before he could 'pat' him on the back. He turned just in time to catch eye contact with her, and she suddenly found herself blushing like a schoolgirl.

"I think that's just how he always looks?" Lucy suggested with a slight frown before twirling the straw around the bottom of her glass.

"Juvia agrees with love rival" said water mage stated with a firm nod, which caused Lucy wo sigh.

to be honest Rissy didn't really mind as long as Rogue continued to give her that 'look' the look as if she were the only person that mattered, the look that made her insides turn to jelly and caused her heart to beat intensely inside her chest.

all that had happened with Elijah and her old friends had threatened to shatter her; for it was her past decisions that had come back to haunt her. Though if it wasn't for her friends, all those who cared for her, she didn't even know if she would still be sitting there.

She was vaguely aware of Lucy talking to Levy beside her, half listening to the conversation, however with Rouge continuing to smile it her, it was becoming increasingly difficult to concentrate.

As if sensing her inner struggle, Juvia turned to face her with a knowing smile.

"Juvia knows that look" The water mage stated in an almost sing song voice.

Rissy quickly turned to face her friend, with a raised brow. It had always amazed her how Juvia could so easily read people's emotions just by their facial expressions, however it wasn't so amazing when said ability was used on her.

"What look?" She asked which caused Juvia to sigh.

Said water mage turned to face Gray, a look if pure admiration and something else - longing. It was no secret to those in the guild that Juvia had an attraction, or devotion towards the ice mage but it saddened Rissy to see her friend not have the same feelings being recuperated back at her.

"It's the same look that Juvia gives Gray-Sama" She said before turning to face Lucy, a small smile forming on her features.

"And the same look Lucy gives Natsu-San" Juvia explained.

Both Lucy and Levy seemed unaware of the current conversation since they were engrossed in their own, but since Juvia did point it out she realised that the water mage was indeed right.

"Wait...you called her Lucy and not-" She started only to be cut off by said water mage.

"Love rival?" Juvia stated, to which Rissy nodded, Juvia sighed once more before turning to face Gray. That look of pure longing remained on her features, it was almost as if she was reaching out to something just within her grasp...and yet too far to touch, always slipping through her finger.

"Juvia wants to believe that there is reason to why Gray-Sama won't return Juvia's feelings...but maybe Gray-Sama doesn't because he doesn't feel the same about Juvia" She stated with a sad sigh.

Her eyes widened at Juvia's statement before reaching out to embrace her friend, only to her amazement Juvia didn't seem upset….not anymore, for now she was smiling. She stared at the water mage with an expression of pure confusion.

"I'm not exactly the smartest person, but shouldn't you be upset?" She asked with a frown.

Juvia shook her head before motioning to Gray, the ice mage was smiling and the action only seemed to make said water mage smile wider and that was when realisation hit Rissy. It didn't matter to Juvia whether or not Gray reciprocated her romantic feelings; all that mattered to her was that he was happy and could see him smile.

"Juvia is happy if Gray-Sama is happy" The water mage concluded with a firm nod and that was when Rissy grinned.

It seemed to be good timing as Lucy and Levy's conversation came to an end, both women turning to face Rissy and Juvia with somewhat confused expressions.

"What are you two grinning about?" Lucy asked

Rissy shrugged, signalling for Juvia to do the same, which only further confused the unknowing mages.

"Just stuff" She said with a small sigh before looking across the guildhall to make eye contact with a certain dragon slayer. She had no doubt that Juvia knew what she was feeling; after all she would do literally anything to see Rogue smile, for it was that same smile that never failed to make her stomach melt. But since everything had gone back to an almost normality what did that mean for the pair.

Something seemed to be bothering her that was what he knew for sure, her lips had formed a small pout and her brows were furrowed with her head tilted slightly to side - something he knew she did whenever deep in thought.

Though he couldn't exactly walk over to her since he was still being congratulated by the Fairy tail mages - they were just a little too friendly.

the brunette who always seemed to be drinking yet never got drunk was asking him some personal questions.

"How far have you gone with baby Dragneel?" she asked before taking a rather large sip of her barrel. His discomfort levels suddenly increased before slowly edging away from Cana Alberona

As if sensing his discomfort, his surrogate brother made his presence known, the sabertooth guild master threw his arms over the brunette with his signature cocky grin.

"How about I buy you a drink?" He offered with a suggestive wiggle of his brows; Cana merely shrugged before placing down her now empty barrel. The blond offered his friend a smile before motioning to the salmon haired woman sitting with the pouty face.

Rogue returned his friend's nod before making his way over towards the dragon slayer; her friends smiled up at him all of them watching with wide evident smiles as he took her by the hand and escorted her out of the guild - after all they did have some things to talk about.

Sneaking away from all the excitement proved easier said than done, for her guildmates were very nosy and seemed to waiting around every corner to catch sight at the new pair. both dragon slayers were currently sat in the Magnolia's East forest, the hum of the variety of animals inhabiting the forest was enough to send her in a peaceful state. Her back was resting against Rogue's chest with his arms wrapped around her middle, she had never felt so at peace in such a long time.

The two of them were silent, the pair more content with sitting in each others company rather than having to talk. Since having to talk meant having to address the situation at hand; and neither of them exactly wanted to do that so soon. Right now she just enjoyed sitting outside with someone she cared deeply about with nothing but the forests surrounding them, it was why she enjoyed the forests they always made her feel safe, reminding her of her times with her mother.

She shuffled in her space slightly, turning so she could face the dragon slayer behind her with a small grin.

"So what did you drag me out here for?" she asked, her grin still evident.

She smiled as he brushed a lock of her wild hair behind an ear though she had tried on multiple occasions to tame her unruly locks it seemed that it had a mind of its own.

"To talk about us" he stated as if it were obvious, though he seemed to be returning her own grin.

To be fair she knew that the conversation was bound to happen soon enough, but that didn't mean that she was prepared for it - not one bit.

"Lets talk" she confirmed with a nod, before shifting in her place once more so that she was straddling Rogue. However she remained unaware of his growing blush due to the close contact.

She frowned slightly before placing the back of her palm against his forehead, her brows furrowing at how warm he was.

"You nervous or something?" She asked as she leaned in closer towards him, however that only put her bust in his direct line of sight.

Being the man he was, Rogue gently placed his hands on her waist pulling her down so she could face him.

"Thanks, Rissy, but I'm fine" He answered, however he noticed how she frowned slightly at his heated face.

She merely shrugged, her head tilted slightly to the side as if studying him.

"Okay…" She said with a sigh, whilst relaxing in his hold. She placed her forehead against his own, a gesture that the two often used to show their affection to the other.

He could feel her soft breath against his cheeks, his eyes roaming over her tanned skin, full lips which he loved to kiss and dark eyes that he loved to gaze into. As if feeling his gaze on her she glanced up, her dark orbs meeting his garnet ones. He knew that he wasn't forward, or was one to talk about emotions; but when he was with her something just changes. He just did whatever felt right.

"I want to see more of you" He stated, the statement coming out a little more forward than he may have intended.

Though it seemed that she didn't mind this, as a smile formed on her features and she wrapped her arms around his neck in order to bring their bodies even closer together. Though he wouldn't admit it out loud, the action was one that he liked.

"I want to see more of you too" She replied though her smile started to fade and was replaced with a small pout, along with her head tilted to the side. Rogue knew this face all too well for it was the salmon haired woman's 'thinking face' one she often made when trying to crack a puzzle or trying to understand something she just didn't quite understand.

"But our guilds….they're far apart" She pointed out.

He nodded in understanding for the initial distance between the two guilds meant that traveling to and from their respective towns would take some time, and it also meant taking the dreaded train which both mages weren't exactly fond of.

"When had that ever stopped us?" He asked with a raised brow, he was stating it as if it were a challenge, and he knew all too well that Rissy loved challenges.

She quirked a brow at his statement, seemingly both excited and intrigued.

"I guess we could walk...and take it in turns to visit each other's guilds, since I haven't been to yours yet" She offered with a slight crooked grin, one that his surrogate brother, Sting would have been proud of.

He nodded in agreement which only caused her grin to widen.

"So what does this make us?" He asked. He wasn't one for labels but he was serious about this, about her.

She frowned a little before removing her hands from around his neck to push his bangs away from his covered eye and allowed her to give him full eye contact. She pressed her lips against his own, and for those few seconds he could feel every emotion that she was feeling; her passion, her pain, happiness...and something heated and dangerous.

She pulled away with her cheeks slightly heated, her breaths deep and ragged. The sound of their deep breaths filled the air for those precious few seconds.

"It makes me yours and you mine" She answered with an added growl.

He also didn't want to admit that he liked her slightly possessive tone,

"I like that" he admitted with a grin whilst wrapping his arms round her waist in the process.

"You better-" She smiled; most likely about to deliver some sort of remark however he silenced her with a chaste kiss before she could get the chance.

Their kiss was more passionate than the last, he didn't even think that it was possible. However cliché it sounded but it seemed that with her all things were possible. Rissy taking her nails against his scalp along with pressing her fangs against his lips was igniting a fire inside him that he didn't know was burning. Her scent was intoxicating and her moans were addictive.

He reluctantly pulled away from her, however the fire inside of him wasn't seeming to die down.

"That was cheating..." She said a little breathlessly.

He merely smiled at her flushed appearance and swollen lips,

"I didn't know we had any rules" he answered feigning innocence.

She released a small laugh, her laugh was contagious and he found himself smiling. He was glad that she was laughing again for he did find himself missing that laugh.

"You're lucky I like you" she remarked.

He shook his head with a smile, he didn't just like her. He was convinced that it was something more and perhaps dangerous.

So what did you think of that

don't kill me for not updating for so long since I was working on the conversation between those two and I kept having to re word to make it right.

I'm not really sure what to do with this story TBH I'll just go where ever metaphoric wind takes it.
