Chapter 29

"Look, Mommy! Stars!" Liam exclaimed as he pointed to the ceiling of the lobby. It was a beautiful illusion of the night sky with sparkling stars.

"Wow that's beautiful." Rachel smiled as she looked up. She took her son's hand, while the other held Lily on her hip. "C'mon, let's go meet Daddy. He was checking in while we went potty."

The three of them made their way over to the front desk where Finn was standing. Liam ran over to the fountain in the middle of the lobby. Rachel followed and dug into her purse for a coin, handing it to her son. "Make a wish."

Liam closed his eyes, holding the penny tight in his hand, before tossing it into the water. "I made a wish, but I can't tell you."

"You can tell me when it comes true." Rachel smiled.

Lily squealed, something she now did when she was excited or happy. Rachel turned and smiled when she saw Finn, holding several papers and two keys. He waved at Lily and bent down to kiss her head. "Okay, the rooms are ready. Let's go up, get settled, and then head to a park. It's too late to go to the pool, so we'll go tomorrow."

Rachel nodded. "Sounds good."

They followed the luggage man to the elevator and up to the seventh floor. They walked down the hall until they reached their room. Finn slipped the key in and opened the door to find a large room. There were two king sized beds and a large dresser. In the corner was a desk and a chair. The bathroom was big as well with their only being a separate room for the toilet and shower. The sink and mirror were open.

"Wow this is nice." Finn said as he observed the room. He helped the man pull the luggage into the room and then handed him a tip and thanked him.

Rachel pulled a blanket out from her diaper bag and laid it on the floor with several baby toys. She then placed Lily on it and handed her one of the toys. She grabbed the suitcases and threw them on the floor, before opening them and quickly beginning to unpack.

Finn watched in amazement at how quick and organized she was. He began to help, but stopped when Rachel grabbed the shirts from him. "Finn, these clothes are going to get all wrinkled. You have to actually fold them."

"Oh." Finn smiled as he watched in awe at how neatly she folded it.

"Just go play with the kids." Rachel laughed, before continuing. It wasn't long before she was done and placed the suitcases in the closet. "I'm going to go to the bathroom and freshen up and then I'm ready."

Finn nodded and continued to play with the kids. When he heard the bathroom door open, he patted Liam's shoulder. "Go do pee-pee."

Liam jumped up and ran into the bathroom area. He made his way to the separate room with the toilet and shower and left the door open as he went to the bathroom. When he finished he stood before his mother. "Mommy, I can't weach the sink."

Rachel smiled and lifted him by the waist so he could reach. She put him down when he was done, and followed him to the other part of the room. "I think we're ready."

"Okay, let's roll." Finn said, lifting Lily into his arms and handing Rachel her diaper bag. Rachel took Liam's hand and they made their way down to the lobby and outside to the valet worker. Finn buckled Lily into her car seat, while Rachel buckled in Liam. The two hopped into the car themselves and headed to Magic Kingdom.

After parking, they had to take a monorail to actually get to the park. There was barely a line to get in and when they did, Liam squealed with excitement at the majestic castle. "Look!"

"Wow, it's beautiful, right?" Rachel sat as she held Liam's hand.

Lily squealed in her carriage as she took in her surroundings. Finn and Rachel both laughed, before beginning to walk. Liam continued to point things out to Rachel and she smiled at his excitement.

They entered Tomorrowland and Liam pointed excitedly. "Buzz Lightyear! I wanna go on that!"

Rachel parked the stroller and pulled out Lily. She dug through her purse and pulled out a red pass that allowed them onto the handicapped line. They were able to get a pass due to some injuries Rachel was still healing from because of the attack.

Both kids were in awe as they passed through the Buzz Lightyear themed room. They were able to fit into one car because Liam was small. Rachel sat in the middle with Lily on her lap and Finn and Liam on her sides. Liam and Finn shot at the targets, while Rachel laughed at her son's excitement and her daughter's squeals.

"Look at my score, Mommy!" Liam shouted as he placed the gun back into its slot.

"Wow, good job, baby." Rachel smiled. "You beat Daddy."

"You beat me, buddy!" Finn said as he hopped out of the car and helped Rachel and Liam out.

"I wanna go on the cars!" Liam said as they exited the ride.

"I'll wait here with Lily." Rachel said, handing the pass to Finn. "Have fun and be careful."

Finn nodded and took Liam's hand, before heading towards the car. Rachel moved the carriage to a nearby bench and sat Lily on her lap. Lily began to whine and Rachel glanced at the time on her phone, realizing it was around her feeding time. "Are you hungry, baby?"

Rachel reached into her diaper bag and pulled out a blanket. She draped it around her to cover herself up and pulled her shirt up. She brought Lily to her chest and she latched on quickly.

Rachel watched as a mother and her three children settled on a nearby bench. Her eyes widened as she watched the kids run around, bumping into people, screaming, and slapping one another, all while the mother ignored them and looked at her phone. Rachel was at least twenty years younger and she was a better mother than this woman was.

The woman glanced up at Rachel and stood. She strolled over to Rachel and cleared her throat to get her attention. Rachel glanced up and burrowed her eyebrows. "May I help you?"

"I think it is rude that you are breastfeeding your child in public." The woman sneered, as her eyes scanned Rachel up and down.

"I'm covered. You can't see a thing." Rachel said with a hint of annoyance.

"It doesn't matter. It's inappropriate."

"Well since we're sharing opinions, I think it is rude that you are telling me what I can and what I cannot do. Especially considering that your children are running around and acting like brats as we speak. So maybe instead of worrying about how I parent, you should reconsider your parenting style and get your children under control." Rachel replied, remaining calm.

"That's…"

"I've heard enough. Your ignorance is not going to change what I do. I'd appreciate if you would leave now, especially before my boyfriend returns because I can assure you he will be livid if he see you annoying me. Thank you." Rachel smiled sweetly, making the woman before her angrier.

The woman stood there for a moment, attempting a comeback, before turning on her heels. "Of course you're not even married."

Rachel didn't bother to respond to her comment, but watched as the woman grabbed her kids and left. She shook her head and returned to watching Lily eat peacefully. Once she was done eating, Rachel quickly cleaned herself up and pulled her shirt back down. She moved the blanket to her shoulder and burped Lily. She laughed at the loud burp that escaped from the little girl, before she folded the blanket neatly and put it back in the diaper bag.

Rachel slipped Lily back in the stroller and turned it so she was facing her. She began to make funny faces at the little girl, before tickling her chubby stomach. Lily squealed and giggles erupted from her tiny body. Rachel laughed, loving the sounds of her daughter's giggles. Lily had just begun to laugh two week ago at three months old.

"Mommy, we went on Space Mountain and it was awesome!" Liam yelled with excitement as he ran to the bench his mother was sitting at. Finn followed from behind, laughing at the little boy.

"I thought you were going on the race cars." Rachel said.

"We did and then he wanted to go on Space Mountain. He's definitely going to be a ride person." Finn chuckled. "You should have seen him on the rollercoaster. He loved it."

"That's my little daredevil." Rachel smiled. "While you guys were on the ride, I fed Lily and some woman, who couldn't control her own kids, told me it was rude to breastfeed in public."

"Are you serious? Did she leave?" Finn asked angrily.

"Yeah, I gave her a piece of my mind and she didn't know what to say and then I told her to leave and she listened." Rachel said, shrugging. She stood up off the bench and took Liam's hand.

"Good." Finn said, resting his hands on the stroller and smiling down at Lily. "Where are we headed next?"

"Let's go to Fantasyland. There's Winnie the Pooh, Dumbo, It's A Small World."

They went on many more rides, most which Rachel and Lily could ride on too. Liam's favorite was still Space Mountain, but he was still in awe and loved all the other rides. Lily's favorite seemed to be It's A Small World. She squealed the entire time and looked intently at all the scenery.

They had dinner in Magic Kingdom and then caught the parade. Lily fell asleep during the parade, but Liam continued to run on his energy, jumping up and down ecstatically at every lighted float that passed. They stayed in the park until closing time and on the way back, Liam finally fell asleep.
