A Battle of Knights!

Sasuke walked down onto the battlefield, nothing but confidence written all over his face. His other competitor, Bacchus, lagged behind him, a bottle of alcohol in his hands. Sasuke sighed. He would have to fight a drunken idiot. Doing such was below him, below his status. He was basically royalty, and fighting some street drunkard was not something someone with his status should do.

Bacchus was a tall, muscular, and fair-skinned man with straight black hair, which was slicked back and gathered on the back of his head, where it was kept in a bun, hidden away by a white cloth with ruffled edges secured by a similarly colored strip; a haircut that was popular in ancient China. He had slanted eyes marked by dark lines, with black pupils circled by lighter irises, with each bearing five irregular black forms below it, and which were topped by black arched eyebrows. He also appeared to possess sharp canine teeth. He had a pair of light brown earrings, which was reminiscent of a gourd. His guild tattoo was located on the center of his muscular, exposed, back.

Bacchus' outfit left most of his torso exposed, instead covering his arms and shoulders with dark blue armor plates, which joined on the upper part of his back and were topped by a wide, arched armored collar in correspondence to his nape. Covering his legs was a very baggy pair of pants, which ended below his knees, and sported large, light motifs reminiscent of flames on the legs' outer edges, and circling around his waist was a light sash tied on his left hip.

Sasuke nodded to Jura, who nodded back to him as he walked off the stage, next to the medics who carried off an unconscious Gajeel. The two had only met once before, at a meeting with the Magic Council. It was one of the pros of being a Wizard Saint, you got to convene with the Magic Council with decisions they thought they were to large for them to handle alone. However, that rarely happened, mainly because of the massive ego of everyone on the Magic Council.

"I will defeat your friend," Jura said, pausing behind Sasuke. Bacchus walked right past the two. Sasuke's face revealed nothing; however Jura had studied the Uchiha and the Uzumaki. They were serious threats to his strength, at least, when it came to this tournament. While he couldn't tell if the Uchiha was amused he could tell that Sasuke didn't believe his words. Sasuke just nodded his head sarcastically. Jura frowned, clenching his fists. Sasuke didn't think he could do it. "Let me tell you one thing Uchiha…rank doesn't always matter." Sasuke continued walking. There was no way Jura could beat Naruto, no matter what he said. True, rank didn't always matter, but there were eleven Wizard Saints, unlike the usual ten for a reason. Naruto and Sasuke were equal in strength, and the Magic Council knew they couldn't put one on the Wizard Saints for a reason; hence, they gave them the same rank…the rank higher than Jura's.

Jura's fists clenched tightly as he walked off the arena, his knuckles turning white. He would prove himself to be stronger than the Uzumaki and even the Uchiha. Rank didn't matter. His eyes then widened as he pondered his attitude. He was usually calm, however the very mention of those two got him angry…but why would it? They were protégé's in the magic world, people to be envied, yes, but to get angry at? Sure the Uchiha wasn't as much of a people's person, but they were likable people. Then why was he angry?

"Match one of bracket B: Sasuke Uchiha versus Bacchus Groh…begin!" the referee called, shooting away from the battle area. Both combatants stood there, looking at each other, one with a look of disinterest, and one with a look of, 'Why do I have to be here?' expressed. The crowd seemed angry at this staring contest that continued for minutes, before breaking the half an hour mark.

"Boo," began one of the crowd members. More people in the crowd began to take up the call chanting, getting angry, and even throwing their trash into the field. "Boo~!" they roared. "Boo~!"

XxX

"Is something wrong with Sasuke-kun," Mira asked, worried.

Makarov smirked, unable to let this chance slip by. "Why, you worried about your little boyfriend," he said, a perverted chuckle coming from him. Mira blushed, and punched the master throwing him to the ground as she held both of her cheeks. "I mean-I-well…um…" Makarov laughed but then his expression turned serious. "No Mira…I think Sasuke's just fine."

XxX

Mito's eyes continued to hold their bored expression as she watched the duo stare at each other. It was rather uneventful, even if the Uchiha was using a crowd control illusion to save the drunkard some honor of getting destroyed in a fight. Mito yawned, raising a hand to her mouth.

"He's hiding his full abilities from me…smarter than my nephew apparently. Then again, he is an Uchiha."

XxX

Yui looked on in boredom, before sitting down and closing her eyes. "Wake me when the Uchiha wins," she called out to no one in particular. Erza looked at Yui, a nervous expression on her face, yet also one of irritation. She creature blatantly did not care about this fight, and only wanted to fight her own battles. However, Erza couldn't see why. Why did they have to go after Sasuke and Naruto? Why did they have to force their memories back on them? Erza growled clenching the sword at her side. Creatures like that…were scum. She then widened her eyes. She had to remember the…Matatabi she thought its name was, was being controlled by that Mito woman. The creature itself was rather nice, or so Naruto said.

XxX

Sasuke dodged another one of Bacchus' palm strikes, a bored expression on his face. "If you move that slow I won't even need my Sharingan to beat you," he said, ducking under the teens blows. Bacchus growled, slamming a palm forwards, however Sasuke caught the hand and spun him around, throwing him into the air. Sasuke watched as Bacchus flipped in midair, landing on his feet before he glared at the Uchiha.

"Stop taking me lightly," he roared, charging forwards. Sasuke sighed as he sidestepped his strike before slamming a knee in his gut, chopping him harshly in the back of the neck. "I would…if you were strong enough to actually come close to defeating me." Bacchus coughed up spittle before turning on his foot and lashing out with a kick that struck Sasuke in the head, catching him by surprise. The illusion set on the field then shattered, revealing what had happened to everyone.

XxX

"An illusion," Mira said. Makarov smiled.

"What do ya mean an illusion," Natsu roared. Gray sighed and slapped his friends head. "You idiot, it means Sasuke was using his illusions to hide what was actually happening."

XxX

"So he got hit," Naruto mumbled, watching Sasuke. Erza looked at him curiously. "His illusion was shattered Er-chan," he said. Erza's eyes widened. She then looked at Sasuke with a serious expression. That meant that Sasuke had gotten hit, but how? She knew for a fact Bacchus wasn't good enough to hit him.

XxX

The crowd all cheered, despite not knowing what on Earthland had happened. One second they were staring at each other, and the next they were in a completely different position. The referee smirked, realizing the brilliance of Sasuke's plan. It would come to fruitation now.

XxX

Bacchus' eyes widened as he put his foot down, a smile dawning on his face. "I hit you." Sasuke frowned, his hand leaving his face, revealing a red mark that had emerged on it. "You didn't use your hands though. You used martial arts then."

Bacchus smiled before drinking from his gourd and throwing it to the side. A purple aura surrounded him, magic energy leaking off him in wavy lines. "I'm a man of many surprises," Bacchus said before disappearing. Sasuke's eyes widened and he jumped backwards just as Bacchus' palm impacted with the ground, causing it to root upwards. Bacchus looked upwards, his eyes a stormy purple. He charged Sasuke, spinning on one foot like a ballerina…of death.

"Purple Cyclone!" he roared, as a purple sphere of magic energy formed around him. Sasuke's eyes widened and he immediately activated his Sharingan analyzing the technique. He frowned when he saw what it did. It covered Bacchus in a protective layer of Magic in the shape of a sphere that would not let anything past it. That feature alone allowed devastating attacking power. It also didn't allow him to use his illusions. Sasuke cursed, jumping above the sphere; however it expanded, growing larger in size as Bacchus poured more magic into it.

"So this is why people say he can keep up with us," Sasuke mumbled as he was struck by the sphere slightly, sending him flying into the ground. As the smoke cleared and the crowd roared Sasuke stood from the small crater he was put in, frowning all the while. He clenched his fists as Bacchus appeared standing on the edge of the crater, an arrogant and drunken smirk on his face. Sasuke drew his sword from his back, holding it in a reverse grip. He then shot into the air, appearing next to Bacchus, slashing downwards. Bacchus' eyes widened and he raised his arm-guards to block, however they shattered on impact and he was sent flying backwards.

"Lightning Coat!"

Sasuke's entire body was coated in black lightning before part of it extend, surrounding his blade. Sasuke smiled before pointing his blade at Bacchus who was just now standing. "Lightning God's Sword!" Sasuke roared as the black lightning surrounding his blade became a whirling, miniature tornado.

"Come…little falcon."

Bacchus growled the purple aura returning before he charged. Sasuke charged back. Bacchus coated his arm in purple magic before thrusting it forwards, and it was met with the tip of Sasuke's blade. The two clashed for dominance until an explosion occurred. Black lightning shot into the air as purple energy shot around in a circle, enveloping the crowd. As the smoke cleared it revealed an unconscious Bacchus, with Sasuke standing over him with only the mark he had on him earlier as proof he had been hit.

"Impressive," Sasuke said. He then sheathed his blade before walking off the arena.

"Winner of match one of bracket B: Sasuke Uchiha!" the referee called. "Now can we get some medics down here?"

The medics came down quickly, picking up Bacchus and carrying him away as the ref scratched off his name and rose Sasuke's. The referee sighed then.

XxX

Mito's eyes widened as the Uchiha walked off the stage. She smiled brightly then, a sadistic look that did not match her attractive features appearing on her face. "Yes…he would be a fitting disciple. If only he was an Uzumaki." She smiled, her eyes turning crimson with specks of black in them. "Soon," she whispered, a crimson mist leaking from her mouth. "Be patient."

XxX

Match two of bracket B: Ichiya Kotobuki versus Louise!"

The two contestants walked onto the arena, frowns on both of their faces. Then again, who wouldn't frown? Whoever won this fight had to face Sasuke Uchiha in the semifinals of their bracket.

Ichiya was a short and rather stout man with a distinctively big, somewhat rectangular face, a large flat nose which always seemed to be shining, and prominent cheekbones. He had dark eyes and thick eyebrows, with a pair of lines pointing towards his nose below them, plus some stubble around his mouth and a prominent chin. He had orange hair. His hair was kept in a wavy style with many curved spikes jutting outwards, acting as a fringe on the left side of his face.

Louise had long, pink hair, and brown eyes. She wore a red tank top that showed off her below average bust, and black short-shorts. She wore black combat boots that went up to her knees and wore black gloves, one of which went all the way up to her shoulder, with the other staying exclusively to her hand. Her guild tattoo was on her neck. Lastly, she had a sword on her back, with a pink sheathe with sakura petals over it.

XxX

"Oh my dear lord," Naruto said, slamming his head on the railing.

"What is it Naruto-k-kun," Erza said, stumbling over her words. Naruto looked at her strangely before he smiled and wrapped an arm around her waist again. He still had to talk to her about today's events. However, he didn't notice Yui smile as he did that even though her eyes were closed.

"It's just that they remind me of two people," he said, frowning. Sasuke looked at him, a smirk on his face.

"Who?"

"Rock Lee and my unfortunately dead wife, Sakura Haruno," Sasuke whispered, making sure only Erza and Naruto could hear him.

Erza's eyes widened. She then looked at those two. They had to be very strange people, although she was sure she would have gotten along with Sakura on looks alone, at least going by Louise's taste. Erza then frowned as she saw Ichiya looking at her. The damn womanizer.

XxX

Ichiya then looked at Louise who had already drawn her blade and was holding it in a ready stance. "Please, most gorgeous one, instead of fighting let us ride off into the sunset, happiness clearly on our faces," Ichiya asked.

Louise frowned, a look of disgust coming to her face. "As if I'd ever date a womanizer!"

The female population of people competing, and watching, including Matatabi and Mito, seemed to react well to her response, genuinely cheering for her.

Ichiya looked downwards, a depressed look on his face. "I just can't catch a break," he mumbled before reaching a hand behind his back.

"Let match two of bracket B: Ichiya Kotobuki and Louise, begin!"

Louise charged, a silver fire coating her sword as she did so. She then swung it down at Ichiya, however the man was no an S-class mage for nothing and avoided the strike. Louise however was prepared, appearing behind him with her blade aimed at his back.

"So weak," she mumbled. "Surrender." Ichiya smiled and flicked his thumb. Louise looked at it to see a bottle-cap fly off of a potion with mist flying out of it before she dropped her sword and yelled in agony.

"Pain Perfume, men!" Ichiya said as Louise screeched, the mist of the potion invading her nose and giving her pain. She frowned as she knelt to the ground, but she refused to fall. She had to represent. However, she couldn't find the connection to her magic anymore. It seemed the perfume cut if off. She would have to reestablish it and get it back to normal to win this fight. Ichiya watched as Louise struggled to reach her blade, her entire body shaking, going into random fits of pain.

"Give up," Ichiya said.

As Louise's hand clutched her blade she frowned, closing her eyes, blocking out the pain, and concentrating. She remembered her lesson; look for a source of power, a bright source of power that brimmed within her. Know it as if it was her blood, her muscles, and know how to control it as if it was her own body. She then felt a spark.

She opened her eyes wide as silver flames sprung from her blade, burning away the mist and surrounding the two in a ring of flaming silver.

"I refuse!" She said glaring at him. Ichiya's eyes widened as he began to sweat. He was hoping that would defeat her. He couldn't have the Uchiha knowing all of his secrets. Perfume Magic was not the most versatile magic after all, at least, when it came to battling.

Louise disappeared in a burst of speed, leaving silver flames in her tracks. A smaller ring of flames surrounded Ichiya as she circled around him, leaving no room to evade her incoming attack.

"Silver Flurry!" She roared, shooting her blade forward. A cyclone of silver flames shot up, surrounding Ichiya and letting his horrifying screams pierce the air. The flames then formed sharp blades before shooting downwards, not impaling Ichiya as that would kill him, but nicking and scracthing him in a severe was that didn't allow him to move. Louise let the flames that weren't binding him fade as she put her blade to his neck, silver flames deactivated.

"Give up," she said, a harsh look in her eyes. Ichiya smiled. "I'm afraid I cannot do that. "Power Perfume!"

Ichiya flicked his finger off another cap and shot his arm through the silvery flames, wincing in pain. Louise was so astonished that she was too late to reach, and the mist flew into Ichiya's nose. Ichiya then began to buff up severely, becoming a towering, hulking, muscular mass of a man.

"Pain Relieving Perfume!" Ichiya said, flicking another bottle and inhaling its contents. Although the flames were still burning him he didn't seem bothered by it now. Louise disappeared, appearing right in front of him; however Ichiya swatted her blade from her blades before slamming a fist in her side. She coughed, blood shooting from her mouth as she was thrown next to her sword.

'Damn it. I swear I heard something break!'

Louise stood, switching her sword to her weak hand. 'Damn bastard broke the arm I'm good with,' she thought as silver flames coated her sword.

"Give up, please," Ichiya asked again.

Louise laughed. "You'd like that wouldn't you."

Ichiya nodded. "Please, with your good arm broken you stand no chance of defeating me. And even if you do you stand no chance of defeating Sasuke Uchiha like that. Just give up." Louise laughed, although the female demographic was sad. They knew that Louise no longer had any chance of winning the tournament. The only people they could cound on now were Erza and Yui. Even if she did somehow manage to beat Ichiya Sasuke Uchiha was a tuff person to even give him a challenge. Few people could, and those were people like Naruto Uzumaki, Jura Neekis, and Laxus Dreyar.

"Give up…on making me give up!" Louise roared, disappearing. Ichiya's eyes widened, however enhancing his physical strength was not all the Power Perfume did. It also enhanced all senses and speed. Hence, Ichiya tracked Louise easily and dodged her sword thrust, before grabbing her leg and throwing her into the air. He jumped after her, his feet above her stomach.

"Take this!" he roared as he slammed his feet down on her stomach. Louise bit back a scream as she fell, coating her blade in silver flames again. "Spiralling Destruction!" The girl spun midair, swinging her blade in front of her. It formed a spiral of silver flames that lashed out at Ichiya. Ichiya's eyes widened before he fell to the flames, falling to the ground, silver fire surrounding him. Louise landed on the ground feet first, breathing heavily and clutching her arm. "Did I get him?" Her answer was given to her relavtively soon as the flames cleared, revealing a normal-sized Ichiya, with flames dancing across his clothes before they burnt out. Louise smiled and stood, breathing heavily and using her sword to support her.

"Winner of match two of bracket B: Louise!" the referee called as he scratched Ichiya's name of the whiteboard and raised Louise's. The crowed cheered, especially the females, happy with the outcome of an amazing battle.

Louise walked towards Ichiya, picking him up and handing him to the medics before walking back into the contestant's box as Erza and Takeshi left. Erza flashed her a smile before walking out onto the arena.

"Good luck, Erza," Naruto called. Sasuke just smirked at him. "Someone have a crush?" he asked. Naruto didn't blush though, instead he looked rather serious. "I don't know. I know I feel something for her, but I don't know what." Sasuke smirked and looked out onto the field as the referee called the match. Naruto had a crush on Erza that much Sasuke knew.

XxX

Takeshi had long purple hair that reached his waist. He had a sword strapped to his waist and wore no shirt, only a red scarf that covered his nose and mouth. He wore the bottom part of a tattered black shihakusho. He had crimson eyes.

Erza looked at Takeshi with caution as the man drew his blade. It would be a swordsman versus a swordswoman. They would finally settle the dispute…which was better, a woman who held a blade, or a man who held a blade. Tkaeshi started it off, his sword and body glowing before he wore a full shihakusho with blue lining and had a giant, golden cleaver in his hands.

"Requip: The Knight," Erza mumbled looking at him with wide eyes. He smiled. "Yes, I'm like you, a Requip user. Let's see who'se better. However, let's make it a little more interesting. We're only allowed one armor this entire battle," he asked, putting out his hand. Erza raised an eyebrow before she began to glow.

'I can't afford to lose, not now. I must win, I must win!' she thought as she decided which armor to choose.

The armor she chose featured very few armored parts, more like a fancy attire bearing reminiscence to a cheetah. Its breastplate took the form of a very revealing, armored cheetah-patterened top, with some bare armor protruding from the upper part of it, in correspondence to Erza's breast, and some fur lining the lower edges. There was no waistguard, with the armor instead sporting a pair of revealing black shorts, with a belt holding a cloth hanging over Erza's left leg attached to them; her arms were covered by dark armbands reaching up just below her shoulders, with her left arm being protected by cheetah-patterned armor, consisting of a single pauldron and a wide arm guard. Her legs were covered in similar stockings reaching up to her thighs, with armored, asymmetric high-heeled boots over them: yet again, the left leg was the more armored one, with the boot reaching up to the knee, which was protected by a cheetah-patterened knee guard; the right leg on the other hand was covered by a boot only reaching up to part of her calf. The outfit was completed by a large collar around her neck and by a tail hanging from the back of her shorts, both made of bushy fur, plus a pair of large cheetah's ears adorning both sides of her head.

Needless to say the males of the crowd were well satisfied with the choice of armor; with nosebleeds sending multiple men flying, even Naruto had to cross his legs and look away for fear of showing something. The only people that didn't seem affected were Takeshi, Jura, and Sasuke.

A shortsword appeared in her hand as she pointed it at Takeshi. "Are you ready," she asked. Takeshi smiled, raising his blade and swirling blue magic around it like a whirlpool. "You better believe it."

Takeshi swept his blade downwards, a smile on his face. "Surging Storm!" A giant torrent of water surged from his blade headed directly at Erza, at rates she wouldn't have been able to avoid…had she not picked her Flight Armor. Erza disappeared in a burst of speed, appearing near the stands with a frown on her face. The armor Takeshi had picked either had water abilities or he knew a form of water magic. Either way, she should have picked her Sea Empress Armor. It was too late to change now though. She disappeared again as another torrent of water came crashing towards her, nearly hitting the stands, but once she reappeared it was upon her, preparing to overwhelm her.

"He tracked me," she said, her eyes widening as she was hit with the wave, being thrown against the wall separating compietors from spectators.

XxX

"Impossible," Mira said. "Even I can't track Erza when she's using her Flight Armor."

"Yeah, she's to fast for any eye to see when using that armor," Natsu said. Gray frowned studing her opponent. "Levy, Cana, you two have any idea." The two shook their heads, but both of them seemed confused, as if they couldn't understand how Takeshi tracked her, which was the question on everyone's mind.

"Wait," Elfman said. "Since they're standing on dirt isn't in possible that a man could have tracked someone as fast as a man like Erza, as she left footsteps on the ground?"

Cana rolled her eyes at Elfman calling Erza a man but it did make sense. "But, how were his eyes able to adjust to where she was going so quickly. Even if he had tracked her through footprints she should have been able to avoid the wave by then."

Levy frowned. "That's exactly why we're all so confused. No one should be able to track Erza, and if they could she'd be two steps ahead of them, at least if she's using her Flight Armor and they're not Sasuke or Naruto."

Makarov frowned as he watched Erza get hit by another one of the teen's water spells.

XxX

"That's impossible," Naruto said as he saw Erza get thrown around by another wave. "He's changing the course of the wave before she even reappears. He's tracking her…but how?"

Sasuke already had his Sharingan activated, glaring at Takeshi, although the teen definitely couldn't see it. "The air," Sasuke mumbled.

"The air," Naruto asked. "Sure, it's been acting strange, as if it's being manipulated, but what could that have to do with this match?"

Sasuke frowned. "I'm not positive, but I think that armor does more than just control water. It controls the four major elements, fire, water, earth, and wind, also known as air. When Erza moves the air fluctuates and and he knows where she's at, hence he's able to track her that quickly."

Naruto frowned and closed his eyes, channeling his magic into the air. He searched for any discrepances in the air, trying to sense if what Sasuke was saying was accurate. He saw it then, Erza moved, he could track her, however he felt a strong magic brush against his in the process. The magic seemed to lose all intrest in tracking Erza, and Takeshi turned to Naruto, a smile on his face. Naruto's eyes snapped open, before they narrowed.

"This guy…" Naruto mumbled. "He just told me something."

Sasuke looked at him.

"He's going to torture Erza…so bad she would never want to be a mage again."

Sasuke glared at Takeshi who was smiling like a madman.

XxX

Erza dodged another blast of water only for it to slam into her the second she reappeared, again hurting her. She stood, anger expressed clearly on her face. However, she was confused as Takeshi rose his blade again, fire circling around it this time.

"Inferno!"

He swung the sword downwards, a blazing blue fire shooting from it and at Erza. Erza's eyes widened and she disappeared, however, just like with the water, the fire was on her again, slamming her into the wall, and burning her.

Erza screamed, and Takeshi smiled. He was enjoying this. It was his favorite pastime. Crushing people's dreams…he just…reveled in it. It felt so good, seeing the pure despair on their faces as they realized that no matter what they did, they couldn't beat him. He was invincible.

XxX

"Fire," Cana said, confused. "More than one element? But how?"

"His armor controls more than one element," Levy said, writing down all possibilities. Levy then looked back up, looking at the armor Takeshi was using. It was similar to a Shinigami's rumored clothes, or the grim reaper. Yet it used a sword, and channeled the element into it before firing it off. Levy's eyes then widened. "One time, Erza asked me to record all armors that I knew oof so she could buy them. Yet, there was one armor she never could earn enough jewels to buy. It cost an absurd amount of money, yet for the abilities it held it was well worth it. Erza forgot about it a long time ago, but I believe he bought the armor. It's called Element Reaper. It allowed you to control the four most basic elements, water, fire, earth, and air. I think…I think this guy is tracking Erza through the air."

Elfman's eyes widened. "So you're saying…"

"That Erza is being tracked through the air she pushes out of her way when she moves," Lucy finished.

Levy nodded. "It's a complicated feat. The armor usually can only control one element at a time. He must have control over air refined to a point near Naruto's to be able to do something like that."

Happy frowned and sat down on Levy's shoulder. "Do you think Erza can win," he asked.

Levy smiled at Happy. "Don't worry happy. Erza always finds a way to pull through."

XxX

Erza ducked under another firestorm, to see it lumbering over her when she looked upwards. She frowned and spun in a circle, kicking up dust and dashing to the right, barely avoiding it. As she reappeared she found that Takeshi hadn't sent the firestorm after her, in fact, he looked confused. He frowned and looked all over the battlefield before his eyes rested on Erza.

"That was smart," he said.

Erza smiled. "I aim to please," she mumbled. 'So he can't track me if dust is in the way. Maybe that's it.'

Takeshi raised his sword again, this time dust flew around it. He then stabbed it into the ground.

"Let's see you avoid this. Earth and air combined."

Erza frowned and disappeared in a burst of speed, however before she could reappear where she wanted she was struck in the chin with a strong, pillar of rock. Erza cursed under her breath, rubbing her chin and spitting out some blood he managed to make come to her throat.

XxX

'Oh no,' Sasuke and Levy thought at the same time. 'He can track her through the air and the ground.'

XxX

Erza growled as Takeshi smiled. The slabs of stone surrounded her in three-foruths of a circle almost immediately. She reacted immediately, though, appeaing ontop of one of the slabs and shooting downwards, towards Takeshi, blade poised to defeat him.

"No!" Sasuke and Levy shouted.

Erza was struck by five bullets of compressed air that exploded on impact, sending her flying into the stands. Erza groaned as she stood, jumping back down onto the arena. She rubbed her back with a grimace, feeling several broken bones.

"Give up," Takeshi called. "You can't win."

(-Flashback-)

"Give up slaves! You can't win! You're nothing but scum!" yelled a man, dressed in strange clothing.

He held a mouch younger Erza by the throat as people in rags held pitchforks, spears, and swords, all of them charging the man. However, with a single flick of his hand another blast of Light Magic hit Erza, causing them to pause. He laughed.

"Just die!" he roared, firing off another blast of magic.

(-Flashback-)

Erza frowned, holding her sword above her head, as a red aura overtook her. She was surrounded in it. It came of in palpable lines that cloaked her, her eyes even turning red.

XxX

Mito looked at the girl with curiousity. "She certainly has the talent of an Uzumaki, and even the trademark hair and sword skills. Hell, I'd say if fuinjutsu existed in this world she'd excel at it. She could be a suitable replacement for the blonde, bumbling idiot."

XxX

Erza growled, her blade becoming cloaked in the red energy. It swirled around her blade before it shot into the air, forming a giant, red blade.

(-Flashback-)

"Compress your energy more," Sasuke ordered her. She tried to do so, focusing all the while into her blade. "Focus it into the blade and manifest that energy into power. Then…strike you foe…and kill them."

Erza let her power surge outwards before sucking it all intwards and into her blade. It formed a small blade, with a glowing red outline around it. Sasuke gave one of his rare smiles. "Good."

(-Flashback-)

Erza's armor disappeared, returning to her Heart Kreuz Armor.

"Giving up," Takeshi asked.

"Burning Crimson!" Erza roared, slashing her blade downwards, and releasing a large blade of red energy at Takeshi. Takeshi's eyes widened as he raised his sword to block, but it did nothing to stop it. The sword shattered on impact and he was sent flying through one of the giant statues in the stands. As the smoke cleared, it showed the the blast had created a giant crevice in the ground, that happened to stop just before it reached the stands. Erza breathed heavily. She felt exhausted.

"Winner of match three of bracket B: Erza Scarlet!"

The crowd roared, and nobody who knew her could have ever felt prouder after defeating such a powerful opponent. Even Mito was pleased, although for different reasons.

Erza walked back into the contestant's waiting room, an exhausted smile on her face. Naruto rushed up and gave her a hug, and kept on telling her how great she did. Erza smiled and fell asleep in his arms, although he felt her snuggle into him. He blushed as Sasuke smirked, whistling all the while. Naruto glared at the Uchiha as Yui opened one of her eyes and glared at Sol.

"Will Yui Nii and Sol please come down?"

Sol then looked into Yui's eyes, to gloat, but came face to face to fear itself.

"Ref, I surrender," Sol called out.

The referee looked at him strangely. "Any particular reason why?"

"There was a giant, blue, flaming, hellcat eating my corpse."

Hey guys it's Kuma Akuma. This was a long, and interesting chapter am I right? Also, I was surprised no one actually reviewed about the kiss Naruto and Erza shared, I was expecting reviews galore, but nope, not one. You guys are mature, good job. I'm not. Now, I hope you liked the way I made Sol and Takeshi. Sol, of course was going to chicken out. I kinda did that cause I didn't want to fight a one-sided slaughter again, like with Sasuke and Bacchus, but at least Bacchus scored two hits. Sol wouldn't score any. This marks the end of the first round, and the next day, in the story, the second round will begin, and I'm going to tell you right now, that the first match of bracket A is an entire chapter by itself. The second match is like one-fourth of a page and then onto bracket B. Also, for those of you thinking Takeshi is dark guild material, he is, and I hope you know, he will be reappearing in the story, multiple times, before he's, yup, killed off. He will die, even though I actually like his character. He'll die in the Great War arc...think on that, hehehehe. I also realized we're close to reaching chapter 30, yeah! Read my other stories, comment, favorite, follow, all that jazz, and point out mistakes. I also hoep you guys liked the fight between Erza and Takeshi, along with all the fights beforehand. I put in a decent amount of work for Sasuke and Bacchus, but the last two were the ones I put the most thought into, especially Erza's. I also put a bit of foreshadowing in her fight, see if you can find it. Anyways, see you guys later and avoid the Earl.
