HEY-OH! How have you guys been this past week? It's been quite crazy huh? Well, today is my school's school festival but I won't be there because I'll be at home practicing for my eighteenth birthday dance. :D It's a bittersweet victory for me. Anyways, I'm glad to hear (or read) that you guys like Sarah and Chuck. Their role in the story has probably peaked already since this is Percabeth and will remain a Percabeth story. I might just do a Chuck/PJO crossover in the future just because I would like to see how their characters would interact with each other plus I would also like to make that plot line completely different. I do feel like this story might be wrapping up soon but I'm not close enough to the tell to give you guys the ultimate number of chapters there will be left. Of course there will be an epilogue so no need to worry. Anyways, onto your reviews...

LalaMay: I totally hear you and I have not lost sight of that! I just wanted to test some waters and like I said earlier, their appearance in this story has probably peaked and will only make cameos from this point to finish off dealing with Mark. You should read it! :) Watch the show. Highly recommended.

bun (Guest): I appreciate you criticisms as they will help me improve. I've said before that Chuck and Sarah's appearances have peaked. I wouldn't say that Rachel is Annabeth's BFF per say. Remember that this is after Rachel has spent quite some time at their house and is making her way up Annabeth's good graces so there are some things that Annabeth feels as though she can trust Rachel with since she has proven that she has had a change of heart.

Prime Of The Sea: No, that's Chuckie... HAHA! "Chuck" is a TV show that is so good! I recommend that you watch it if you like quirky humor. Well, you read PJO so you probably would like it. But that's just my assumption so...

myperfectionismyimperfection: I missed you! I'm glad you would put your faith in me to deliver a story where half of the things that are going on, you probably won't get the reference unless you watch the show, but I will definitely do my best to provide substantial BG for both PJO and Chuck universes. I will definitely be waiting to finish this story first since I have so much on my plate already, balancing two stories and my life would be suicide. Yeah, I know Anthony didn't play a big part and he hasn't been playing a big part but you gotta take into consideration him being a child and what's happening lately be adult matters. Don't worry though, he will definitely be playing a bigger part.

Electric Chair (Guest): No, no it's not... you can keep you're money... But I will take the cookies. :)

Guest (Guest): Wow! When I read this, my friend and I were talking about how weird it was to think about all of the people who are aware of my story and it got us to thinking about how many kids at my school probably are reading this story. It's mind blowing. I'm so glad that you love this story! :)

Disclaimer: I do not own the characters of Percy Jackson and the Olympians... Obviously since I am in no way, shape, or form Rick Riordan.

The rest of the weekend was quite uneventful with the absence of Mark. Annabeth did have to deal with Mr. Shackleford and his squeaky voice as a fallout. She felt that it was worth it though since Sarah had been there every step of the way and gave her updates on Mark's processing. Rachel had officially moved out (and Percy officially in) on Wednesday, much to Annabeth's relief. It wasn't that the blonde woman didn't enjoy her company, she did, but she felt that the redhead's presence had been draining. Now, Saturday, she was off and actually had the luxury of enjoying her day with just her son and boyfriend, something she felt she needed, deeply.

Pulling her shirt over her torso, Annabeth grabbed her phone off the dresser and stuffed it in her back pocket, heading out of her room and down the stairs where the scent of eggs and bacon wafted through the air. "Mmmm," she hummed in delight, calling Percy's attention. "That smells great." She walked into the kitchen where her black hair boyfriend stood in front of the stove, flipping the sizzling bacon so that the uncooked side faced the hot pan.

"And it'll taste even better," Percy smiled turning his head to face her. He took note of her shirt and jeans in contrast to his college shirt and pajama bottoms. "Well, you're all dressed up."

"And you're not," Annabeth commented as she dug through the fridge for the bowl of grapes. She located the small round fruits and popped one in her mouth.

"I didn't realize we were going anywhere," Percy explained. He smiled at his girlfriend, knowing that she was feeling particularly sassy this morning. Something that had been rare in nature as of late but was an obvious tell that she was in a good mood. He removed the bacon from the pan, placing it onto a plate, and shut off the stove.

"Well, I remember a certain green eyed man promising that we would go see some famous endangered seals and I was thinking of taking up his offer." Percy turned and gathered the grey eyed woman into his arms and brought his face down so that it hovered just inches from hers.

"Ms. Chase, are you saying you're interested in my job?" he asked smugly with an eyebrow raised.

"Why, I've always been interested in your work, Mr. Jackson," she replied just as smug, although there was a heavy dose of sensuality present in her voice that Percy needed all of his willpower not to have her for breakfast instead.

"Hmm," he hummed in an attempt to divert his own attention. "Why don't you go wake up your son so that we can eat breakfast and then we'll spend the day on Manhattan beach?"

"That sounds like a plan worthy of the goddess Athena herself," Annabeth smiled before closing the distance between their lips. The kiss was sweet, slow, and meaningful, something she felt was absent in her life lately as they had practically gone full speed ahead since her and Percy officially got together. In the end, she was the one to pull away so that they could start enjoying their day.

Percy watched as his blonde girlfriend stepped away from him and toward the stairs, a smile gracing her lips in content. With smile on his own face, Percy finished setting the table and waited for Annabeth to return to the kitchen with a fully dressed Anthony in tow. "Daddy, Mommy said we're gonna see the seals?" his three year old son asked, climbing into a chair at the table.

"We are," Percy affirmed settling himself into a seat as well. Annabeth grabbed the seat adjacent from him and pulled it close to the table. After they filled their plates with food and said Grace, they began to eat, joking, laughing, and sharing what they wanted to do that day. After their meal, Annabeth offered to clean the table and wash the dishes while Percy got himself ready for the day.

As the black haired man picked out a blue and black plaid shirt and dark jeans, he reflected on the recent events of his life. Mark was incarcerated* and they were finally safe. Pulling the shirt across his back and buttoning it up, Percy looked into the mirror hanging on the door and grimaced at the discolored spot on his face from where Mark got in that lucky shot. A small price to pay, he thought. It wasn't as gnarly as it was on Wednesday morning but it still looked pretty bad. The bruise was rapidly turning yellow, a sign of proper healing, but the center, the point of contact, was still slightly purple, much like a lavender color. There will definitely be some questions down at the Aquarium as to what happened should he run into any of the other marine biologists there but it wasn't anything Percy figured he couldn't handle.

When he was dressed and ready to go, he grabbed his phone and keys and headed down the stairs where Annabeth and Anthony stood, waiting at the door. "Someone's excited," he commented with a smile.

"Whatever," was his grey eyed girlfriend's response. He laughed and the three of them headed out of the house and into his blue Benz. Buckling Anthony into his car seat, Percy settled into the driver's seat and started the car.

The drive to the Aquarium wasn't long or short. In fact, Percy felt like a good amount of time had passed since they were able to enjoy singing along with the radio before it got to the point of cheesiness. Once Percy pulled into his designated parking spot in the Aquarium parking spot and cut the engine, the three exited the car and made their way to the entrance, once again bypassing the line and the security that followed. Before Percy allowed them to visit the Hawaiian Monk Seals, he dropped by his office to grab his badge and ID which gave them exclusive access around the building.

Annabeth was amazed by the habitat that was displayed in front of her. She actually felt as though she were really in Hawaii. Percy had done a great job in designing the habitat and the architect in her didn't let the little details that tied everything together go unnoticed. She marveled at the seals ease behind the glass despite the crowd of people watching them. "They can't see us," said a low, familiar voice behind her, seeming reading her mind. She turned and found that she was face to face with her marine biologist boyfriend.

"They can't?" she asked, curious.

"Nope. We used the same kind of glass they use in interrogation rooms - the one way mirrors? - so that we could observe them without them being alerted of our presence," Percy explained.

"Like the natural observation concept in psychology," Annabeth said in awe, turning back to continue watching the seals. Percy definitely still had some surprises up his sleeve.

"Exactly." He wrapped his arms around her waist and rested his chin on her shoulder. "They're such interesting animals. I've been one of the main observers since it is my project and the habits that they've formed while here, the new 'traditions' that they make, it's so incredible..." Annabeth desperately wanted to understand what her boyfriend was telling her but the words got lost in translation so she settled for simply listening to the calm of his voice. Suddenly, she remembered an important detail.

"Percy," she said, interrupting him. "Where's Anthony?" Annabeth felt like a total dunce for forgetting about her son.

"Don't worry, he's over there, playing with the seal call machine," Percy assured, unwrapping an arm to point in the direction of their son. "And Jacob is there so I know he's safe."

Annabeth watched her son laugh as he pressed each button that elicited a different call. "Come on," she prodded, suddenly interested. They walked over to the small boy and Annabeth bent over. "What's this?" she asked him.

"It's seal calls!" he explained happily.

"Really? That's cool! Show me how it works," Annabeth said, just wanting to spend time with her son. Percy stood back slightly, just watching the mother and son pair interact and share laughs. He knew that with everything going on with Annabeth's work and Mark, she hadn't had much time to spend with her son whereas he'd had plenty, not that he was complaining as Anthony was probably one of the best kids in the world. He smiled at the wonder on Annabeth's face as her three year old son taught her about the different types of seals, why they have different calls, and how their calls were different. Anthony was a smart kid. A really smart kid. Percy guessed Annabeth's genes in retaining information got passed down to him while Percy only passed down his gene for love of water. The marine biologist checked his watch for the time and cleared his throat.

"Sorry for interrupting the lesson," he said once they both turned to face him, "but its feeding time for the seals and, after, us."

Anthony's eyes widened in excitement and rushed over to the glass wall. Percy wrapped an arm around Annabeth's shoulders and together, the couple followed their son.

With the crowd of people in front of him. Anthony couldn't get a very good view of the seals until he felt two strong hands lift him up higher and settle him onto a pair of shoulders. After realizing that his Daddy was the one to pick him up for a better view, Anthony rested his hands on top of his Daddy's head as the large hands that carried him up rested on his legs for support.

Annabeth found herself in awe for what felt like the fiftieth time since arriving at the Aquarium as she watched the seals dive into the water to catch the live fish that swam around. "Wow, they're amazing," she breathed.

"I know, right?" Percy turned his head to face her and gave her his infamous lopsided smile. She felt her heart skip a beat and returned the smile.

After their trip to the Aquarium, Percy drove them down to Coney Island. Annabeth furrowed her eyebrows. "Percy, what are we doing here?" she asked him, confused. She thought they were going to the beach.

"Well, our day got interrupted the first time we came so I thought, 'Hey, we're in the area so, why not?'" He turned to face her and smiled his childish smile. "Besides, it's time for lunch and there are some great booths we could choose from." After paying for their tickets, Percy led them through the gate and immediately ushered them to a food stand.

"Hello, what'll you be having?" the cashier asked.

"Umm, can I get three Coney Island hot dogs and a large order of chili cheese fries?" Percy said pulling out his card out of his wallet.

"Anything else?" he inquired, pushing their order into the machine on the counter.

"Three water bottles, one small sprite, and a large coke," Percy added. The teenage cashier pulled their drinks from a cooler underneath the counter and piled their orders onto a bright red food tray. "Thanks," Percy smiled and grabbed the tray, retreating to the umbrella covered table where Annabeth and Anthony were playing the slap game with Anthony's hands resting on top of his mother's as she tried to catch the back of his hands. Anthony giggled every time Annabeth flinched her hands and he pulled his away as fast as he could. "Who said you two could have fun without me?" Percy asked amusedly, placing the tray down on the table. His son and girlfriend ended their game and turned their attention to the newly arrived food which the black haired man distributed to each of them. They ate their food and took to walking around the pier, gauging which rides to go on first and which rides weren't worth their time.

As they crossed into the kid area, Anthony pointed toward the "Kiddy Drop." Percy let him go off as he and Annabeth watched from the railing as he got strapped into the seat and the ride took him and all the other kids up in the air. "We've come a long way," Percy said, turning his head to face his girlfriend.

"We have," she smiled back at him, taking a step closer, allowing him to wrap his arms around her so they stood tandem style. Percy took out his phone and opened the camera app, capturing a picture of Anthony with pure mirth on his face as the ride plummeted back to earth. Annabeth leaned her head back on his shoulder in content, closing her eyes.

The black haired man switch the camera so that it was in front faced mode and held it up so both his and Annabeth's face were in the shot. He placed a kiss on her cheek and snapped the picture. The blonde opened her eyes in amusement and looked up at her black haired boyfriend. While she turned her head toward him, Percy smiled back down at her and took another picture of them only inches away from one another. Wanting one last photo, he dipped his head, capturing her lips with his and snapped the picture.

When they pulled away, Percy heard the familiar sound of a ride powering down and turned his head to see Anthony climbing off his seat and down the ramp toward the exit gate. Taking Annabeth's hand in his own, they walked over to meet him. "Did you have fun?" Annabeth asked her son.

"YEAH!" He screamed in joy. "What's the next ride?!"

"Well, let's walk around some more and find out," Percy suggested, releasing his grip on Annabeth's hand and holding it out for Anthony to take. The three year old boy situated himself between his parents with a grip on both of their hands and they continued their journey throughout the park.

The sun was getting ready to set and Percy, Annabeth and Anthony have just gotten off the river rapids log ride, completely soaked, and ready to go home. "Let's change our shirts first so we don't get sick," Percy said once they had finished laughing at their faces on the picture that the ride took of them during the big drop.

The trio made their way to the gift shop where they each bought a Coney Island shirt, Annabeth a grey one, Percy a blue one, and Anthony a green one. Once Percy paid for their new outfits, the three parted ways at the bathrooms; Annabeth went into the girls and Percy and Anthony into the boys where they switched out their soaked ones with their new ones. When the three of them exited and met back up, they put their wet shirts into the plastic bag that once held the Coney Island T-shirts. Percy noticed that the three of them were matching so he ran up to the nearest person with his phone in hand. "Excuse, me," he said tapping the woman's shoulder. "Do mind taking a picture of us?" He held his phone out to her.

"Sure!" Readjusting her own plastic bag, the lady took Percy's phone and picked a suitable frame while the black haired man situated himself by the rail with Annabeth and Anthony. He sat the three year old boy on the rail and wrapped a protective arm around his back while Annabeth did the same. They scooted in close and all three had the biggest smiles on their faces. They waited a bit, holding their pose, while the lady took the picture. She smiled at them, lowering the phone. "There you go!" she said. Percy jogged up to her and thanked her. "It was no problem! You have a gorgeous family!"

"Thank you so much," he said again. He took his phone back up and opened up his gallery app.

"I took the liberty of taking three photos so you could choose," she added. Percy scrolled through the three photos. Percy was shocked at the quality of the photos. They were great. The light from the sunset accentuated their features and turned the Atlantic Ocean and the sky behind them violet and crimson. I guess everyone does look great at golden hour, Percy quipped to himself mentally.

"These are great! Thanks again." He shot her a smile and a wave before retreating back to his son and girlfriend where he showed her the pictures. Annabeth cooed at the scenery and their matching outfits.

"You have to send these to me," she declared. Percy took back his phone and tapped the screen a few times.

"Done and done." Annabeth opened her mouth to comment but was interrupted by a yawn elicited by the small boy hanging onto her hand.

"Looks like," Percy remarked, "someone is getting sleepy."

"No-am not," Anthony argued as he yawned once more.

"Yes, you are," Annabeth agreed, lifting the child into her arms. "We should head home."

"Yeah, it's getting late and we've got a relatively long drive ahead of us," Percy added. He wrapped an arm around Annabeth's waist and the three of them returned to his car where they buckled their now sleeping son into his car seat and climbed into the front.

Once Annabeth had changed Anthony out of his clothes and into some pajamas, she walked into her shared bedroom and grabbed a tank top and some boy shorts from the dresser and walking toward the bathroom. Opening the door, she was met by a wall of steam and a very wet Percy clad in only a towel brushing his teeth. Despite the fact that they were dating, Annabeth still felt her face heat up with embarrassment and she stumbled over her words, unable to make a single coherent thought. Her bottom lip between her teeth, Annabeth's eyes drifted down his back and settled on the towel that seemed to just hug his butt. She gulped. Percy bent over, spitting the toothpaste out and rinsing his mouth. Annabeth didn't even realize when he'd turned around to face her, a smirk on his face. "Was the great Annabeth Chase checking out my booty?" he quipped.

"No!" she responded although her burning cheeks said otherwise. Percy closed the distance between them and rested his hands on her hips.

"Are you sure?" He asked, his voice deep and husky. He had no idea where all the confidence came from but the fact that he was finally able to make his girlfriend squirm was enough for him to keep going.

Annabeth gulped audibly due to the lack of clothes of her toned boyfriend and his close proximity. She opened her mouth to answer his previous question but never got the chance as he placed a kiss on her forehead and left the bathroom, calling, "try not to stay too long," over his shoulder, and shut the door. Annabeth stood frozen to her spot in the middle of the bathroom shortly before finally returning to reality. How he had managed to get under her skin so easily, Annabeth would never know, but it left her with a sort of high that she never really wanted to come down from. This realization in mind, the blonde peeled the dirty clothes from her body, threw them in the hamper and began her shower.

Twenty minutes after he had left Annabeth in the bathroom, Percy was flipping through the channels on their TV when the en suite bathroom door opened revealing a freshly cleaned Annabeth with her hair half-dried. She climbed onto her side of the bed and rested her back on the headboard much like Percy was. Percy flipped through a few more channels, finding none of the shows interesting enough for him to stay on and actually watch before Annabeth grabbed the remote from him and shut it off. "Hey-" Percy began to complain but was cut off when his blonde girlfriend straddled his waist and crashed her lips onto his. The green eyed man responded immediately, matching her fervor. He leaned forward, deepening the kiss and rested his hands on her hips, right at the hem of her tank. Annabeth nibbled on his lower lip slightly eliciting a pleasurable moan from him while his hand snaked their way under the fabric of her tank top.

Just as his hand slid their way up her midsection slowly, Annabeth broke the kiss and brought her mouth close to his ear whispering, "That's how you tease someone," in the most lust filled voice before climbing off of him and back into the covers on her side of the bed, flooring Percy completely, a victorious smirk gracing her features right before she allowed herself to slip into dreamland.

*Incarcerated: To be put in jail.

And there you have it! I felt like we haven't gotten much development in lately so, I brought us back a bit. I hope you enjoyed this chapter and the development between Percy and Annabeth. Hopefully there was a sufficient amount of Anthony for you guys.

OMG with this chapter, I've reached over 100,000 words! :)

I'm slowly falling back into writer's block. I can already feel it... Your suggestions and guesses on what could possibly happen next are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
