Hey. I forgot to mention that the last chapter was to a person called Unwillingly Me, so yeah. The particular chapter is to MorningStarAtNight.
I'm not Rick Riordan. I don't own PJO. I don't own the song.
This Is War
A warning to the people. It starts out with a warning. The good and the evil. To both good and evil people. Must be serious. This is war. Wars aren't that cheerful. So many deaths of mortals and demigods. To the soldier. Warning a soldier? That's strangely well-mannered. The civilian. The bystander that is forced to witness it all. The martyr, the victim. Yes, let's warn the dead man and person that is suffering so they know that a war is approaching. One's dead. The other problem wishing they were dead if not dead already. I'm not seeing the logic in this. This is war. We are all aware of this now.
It's the moment of truth. People do seem to confess things when they feel are about to die. It's a bit strange when they don't die. Mortals especially. And the moment to lie. Traitors that die unknown. They always seem to die. The moment to live. In the middle of a war? Many people fight and die as heroes. They don't go frolicking through a field of poppies. Wait.. not poppies. I meant dandelions. And the moment to die. That seems more accurate. The moment to fight. That is very true. Lots of fighting. It's quite terrible, all the carnage that results from it. The moment to fight. Already been said. To fight, to fight, to fight! Fighting. The term fight has been used in the song five times already. It'll be here a lot more than that. To the right, to the left. Fighting everywhere. Something Ares would like. We will fight to the death! Fighting until they die. What a way to go out. To the edge of the earth. Let's all find the edge of the earth... Oh wait, the earth is a sphere. There is no edge. It's a brave new world. The world is a rock. It cannot be brave or cowardly. From the last to the first. Wouldn't it be to the first to the last? To the right, to the left. Everyone's dying. We will fight to the death! Hurray for murder. To the edge of the earth. The earth has no edge. It's a brave new world. It's just the people. It's a brave new world! Not the earth.
A warning to the prophet. Warning the prophet. That never works. People in general never actually listen to warnings. The liar. Careful. Don't lie about the upcoming war. The honest. Especially the overly honest and very opinionated people. *cough* Apollo *cough*. This is war. It's a warning and a threat when you think about it. To the leader. They plan on killing that guy. The pariah. Hold a grudge against the outcast too. The victor. Are they just naming different titles for people now? The messiah. It seems like that's all they're doing. This is war. It isn't that fantastic or interesting. No doubt Ares would jump in and just kill everyone for the fun of it.
It's the moment of truth. And the time to die. And the moment to lie. You're about to die. Does it really matter if you're telling the truth or not? The moment to live and the moment to die. This part is a bit contradictory. Live and die at the same time.
The moment to ffight. We know. The moment to fight. Why must this be repeated?
To fight, to fight, to fight! Singers must believe repetition is their best friend. It honestly get annoying. To the right, to the left. Behind. In front. Above. Below. Inside. Outside. Everywhere. We will fight to the death! That will be painful and together pure torture. To the edge of the earth. If there was an edge, but there isn't. It's a brave new world. A rock cannot be brave or courageous. It really isn't that hard to understand. From the last to the first. It should be the other way around. To the right, to the left. Here, there, everywhere. We will fight to the death! But then everyone is dead. To the edge of the earth. It's been proven that you can't just fall off the edge of the earth because there is no edge. It's a brave new world. Actually it's the same. It's a brave new world. Still the same. It's a brave new world! Just a rock.
I do believe in the light. If you didn't you'd be surrounded by darkness. Raise your hands into the sky. In victory or surrender? The fight is done. Good. I won't have to hear about it. The war is won. By who? Giants? Titans? Olympians? Lift your hands toward the sun. Not to Apollo. He would act like an idiot. Toward the sun. I give up. Toward the sun. Don't care anymore. Toward the sun. This gets annoying quickly. I hate repetition. The war is won. And now we all go back to our normal lives.
Etc. Etc.
